Found it during a beach walk. The logbook is totaly wet and the plastic bag must be a new one.
Notebook too wet to write in! Needs drying out and replacement plastic bag. Lovely spot : )
A great bench to hear and see the roar of the Tasman (and to sign a cache too). Pretty wet inside. Thanks fotr the stop.
,introduced my niece to caching, I think she got hooked straight away. Very nice spot.TFTC
Finally found our way into this one and it was certainly blowing and the waves definitely pounding the shore today - did not take the time to sit down as the seat was wet !!! I nabbed the cache and soon had log signed and a brisk walk back to the 4WD thanks for the cache - it would be great to see it several times to see how different the ocean looked each time !!!
The wind and showers had picked up by this time so no real time to sit on the wet seat and enjoy. Niteowlnz soon had the cache in hand so we could beat a hasty retreat to the shelter of the car TFTC
Tasman certainly roaring today. As noted, log is a bit damp but quite usable. Some impressive newish houses round here too. TFTC, Biggles.
Found after a brief search, needs a little TLC though as everything was reasonably wet.

Climbed to the saddle to have a rubber neck at the flash houses too.

A quick find just on dusk. I could hear the sea even if I couldn't see it TNLN SL TFTC
Looked quite hard for this one, but only found a pair of nail clippers.
Not having the cache note or clues with me at the time didn't help.
maybe next trip south.

#1584 (11/15 on a second day on the Coast). Not exactly roaring today but quite noisy. Great place for a seat. TFTC.
Quick find, but the seat was too wet to sit on. The sea was roaring loudly tonight.

Little wind for the west coast today while sitting logging the cache after dog walker walk away. TFTC
Broganbranch went for a run/walk to get this one, while I waited in the car. Lovely spot to sit a relax.
A quick easy find, although we had to wait for 2 lots of dog-walking muggles before we could replace the cache. TFTC
Took out TB R9EV29 swapped with TB UNBH7Q

I wouldn't mind living in one of those fancy houses. Quick find on a rainy morning. TFTC
The Tasman Sea was roaring on this day. With lots of foam on the beach.

On a mission with MD to rescue a few local travellers. We picked up the Shoes TB and will move it on to Christchurch.
Quick find once we made our way to the seat. Too bad the bush obscures alot of your view of the ocean. TNLN TFTC
This was a natural progression from the last cache with my helper Balke. A nice day and friendly onlookers made the seat very nice to just sit and enjoy the views.
Thanks

Nice place -even in the dark. I wouldn't mind one of these sections. Dipping in TB. TFTC #889
Did leave the solider TB to hang out with soldier friends but he has been collected befrore i could log this sorry.
Having missed the cemetery multi nearby, EuDes herself and I proceeded here. Thankfully this one did present itself and we were soon logging the find at 18:25.
TNLNSL, although our night cache geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Bitsprayer.

Not a nice day to be sitting watching the sea but okay for caching and keeping the locals inside. Found without any interuptions or hassle. TFTC
THE DEAN TEAM FOUND IT amgonst the prickles. Great view from the seat we enjoyed ourselves THANKS
Mrs Sobad had a quick look, went to car, read clue and looked agian. No luck. Did another cache then approached this from a different direction with Sobad as well - and still unsuccessful. Too cold to sit today but maybe another trip.
With the wind and the rain it was roaring today. I was about to drive around when I realised that there was a way through. At gz the hide was fairly clear but it was still well hidden. Just how I like them. These ones in flax and bushes can be a bit hatstacky for mine. I don't recall a Bitsprayer cache like that! They all seem to be good hides.
A quick and easy find at the start of our holiday on the West Coast.

Great views from here...and some prime real estate between here and the water! Managed not to get hurt too much by the brambles (or whatever this plant was). TFTC
Spent some time - checked possible hollows at ground level but with little success.
Still a pleasant location though.

Easy enough - lovely views. I even sat for a while to enjoy the ocean - and that was on a long caching day!! Cachebox was full of water - the owner needs to sort out a waterproof box. Also the logbook is running out - looks like a maintenance check is in order. No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1175)
FOUND! After a while and a bit of help frm a Fellow Cacher!

Found quickly with the clue. Lovely clear morning after a very wet day yesterday. TFTC.
4/7 of The Grady Bunch found this. The area is a bit overgrown. Time for another working bee I think.
Easy find after dodging berry picking and pram pushing muggle. Always nice to have a place to sit when you do the admin
It wasn't too roaring today. There was also a bookcrossing book nearby the cache today. Cheers Gav [1867]
Took the wrong road to begin with. Could see the seat but couldn't get to it so had to drive around the long way. TNLN
A quick find and as the previous cacher noted there was a bookcrossing book on the seat. Now I wonder who could have left that.
Nice place to watch the world go by, lots of new houses around but early evening all was quite
I had to come back a couple of times as there was a young muggle sitting in the seat close by but I got it in the end, thanks
2006. The sea is roaring tonight - the end of the storm that has been hitting the South Island today!
We have removed the soggy log book to be returned to Bitsprayer some time, and added extra log pages with a Geocaching Logo but unfortunately no stash note.
A helicopter roared overhead as we were siting on another Greymouth's flash new seats.
Thanks
Iris & Rodney

Changed the plastic bags for dry, smaller ones.
Added some paper for a temporary log - please, it still needs a real log book. Left the SOGGY log book at the bottom of the cache for retrieval by cache owner when he maintains it.
Removed 2 oversized toys, added a butterfly, replaced the cache upright,
AND enjoyed the views.
Thanks for sharing this gem of a spot with us.

Unfortunately we found this cache with far too many swaps inside this small container. The lid could not close and was found balanced on top of the cache, the bag was broken and the log book had been taken out of the bag and was sopping wet. It is really good to see that so many children in Greymouth are geocaching but it is a pity that they haven't looked after this cache, filling it with too much loot.
