Think I know where the cache is but I can't get to it.

26-Sep-15
Very overgrown. Not comfortable with the kids poking around in the long grass

26-Sep-15
Was walking back past later and, not wanting to leave it unfound, I sent the family on to the car and went back for another look. I found it eventually but it was very hard to get to. Then I realised that I had no pen or trinket to leave. I tried to sign the new, dry log with the waterlogged pen that was there but it didn't work. I did get a photo of the cache in situ

26-Sep-15
Bit hard to find and box is a bit wet but took rocket ship pencil rubber and left a dinosaur

04-Sep-15
decided to try and find this one as I was with 2 previous finders. apparently the area is a lit more overgrown since they were there but they were sure they could remember where it was.

during our search we heard a voice "are you geocaching". oh I know that person lol

soon after Joel had his hand on the cache. logbook was pretty wet and so we replaced with a new log.

happy to turn this into a smilie

Oldest mooseling was out at sea today, so took the opportunity to grab some quick numbers. Some found and some not.

Thought I'd give this a go, maybe I'd fluke it? Rounded the back looking for an entry point when I heard something heavy moving through the undergrowth. Hmmm, not there. Tried another point and soon was in the scrub.

Found a clearing and began to get at ground level to look for the rocks. I pushed further into the bush and found another clearing with a splayed bird and heaps of feathers. Cache? Probably not.

After a while I concluded that it was indeed lost and left to find another nearby cache. About half an hour later I walked past this spot again and noticed some people in the area. Knowing that they could only be caches I approached them. Lo and behold, it was Barbbowman, Bubba89, OrionJ and...? (sorry I didn't catch the 4th name!). Two of them had previously found this cache and they were determined to do so again.

Soon after, OrionJ triumphantly lifted up the hidden beastie. The log was quite damp, but running repairs saw another one added. Hurrah! I can log this one as a found.

tftc angermanagement, and thanks for the help, fellow cachers.

Hi there angermanagement,

Your cache "Little Miss Fit" was last found on 27/03/2015, 137 days ago, and has had 8 DNF's since that time..
Is there any chance you could do a maintenance run to confirm if it is still there - - and replace it if it isn't.
If that's not possible then please archive the cache so that the spot can be freed up for someone else to use.

Regards

Ian & Penny

Couldn't find it

06-Jun-15
Went through some treacherous terrain, but couldn't find it, mad cubby though

02-Jun-15
Found area of possibility but did not venture in due to fear of creepy crawlies. A lot of bush.

13-Apr-15
No cache here! Did find a frog though. Area is very overgrown.

07-Apr-15
Terrain what!?
For nothing!?
Damn =[
Nice area.
Cheers anyway.
Safe travels & hoppy caching =]

06-Apr-15
Such long undergrowth and soooo many mozzies - I gave up after checking some reasonable spots.

Oh well, perhaps next time when I come prepared (with mozzie repellant),

28-Mar-15
A very hot day with lots of mozzies attacking. Need to come back on a cooler day.

27-Mar-15
Out for a day of caching with IolantheK. I mentioned that I had looked at this cache last weekend and, once near GZ, had decided to leave it until I had company. IolantheK gave me a strange look, but agreed to accompany me. Once at the same spot where I had made my decision, she understood why. We made our way through the more than head height grass to be confronted with a lot of very low hanging branches and lots of brambles. My phone was pretty useless as it kept jumping around all over the place. Time to ignore it! We scrambled over and under in our search. Round and round in circles we went. Eventually, whilst crawling around on my hands and knees, I spotted something. I had to get down even lower to get to it, but I soon had the cache in hand. I signed the log and returned the cache as I found it. We then scrambled under and over and around to find our way out again. Terrain is now higher than 1.5

27-Mar-15
good spot, tftc! Smile

25-Mar-15
A very difficult find, I think I chose the hardest way to approach the GZ. I had fun though, and I got up a good sweat. Attracted swarms of mozzies, good invention: mozzie repellant!

23-Feb-15
I crawled in first then mnance came in then misssusan and Benny, I'd gone too far and the others spotted it. Ohh itchy and scratchy!! Tftc

23-Feb-15
In went Lisylou, then in went mnance101, still no luck, but in with the rest of the mothers. Jemillucy spotted it to the right when we were all looking left!

23-Feb-15
Some scratching around for this one spotted by mnance101

23-Feb-15
Out caching with Lisylou, Bennyboppers, Remsjw, Jemillalucy and Misssusan. Oh you are kidding, it's in there! Lisylou went in but had no luck. Then I went in but was having no luck so called out for back up. Then jemillalucy spotted it. I crawled to it and signed us in. Log is damp but ok. TFTC!

23-Feb-15
Tough Mothers found it after a challenging bit of bush bashing.

23-Feb-15
Scrabbling through the undergrowth. Lots of mozzies and sandflies. Which way from here? Sent two tough mothers in. Then back up decided they should go take a look. Ducked down to avoid the branches and hey ho there you go!

14-Feb-15
This one took a bit of searching and crawling! Found the container without any issues. The logbook is wet. TFTC

05-Feb-15
TFTC. totally agree that the terrain rating needs to be raised. This was easily a 2 to 3 once we cut through the shoulder high grass and ducked between the tangled vines. Nice spot although we didn't spot any clues Sad recovered and returned wishing I had my machete. Haha

30-Jan-15
So full of mossies & frightened of snakes plus many muggles council workers & rescue respomse here too

25-Jan-15
The area seems to have undergone some growth, as other cachers have mentioned. I eventually found a decent area to enter, and soon had the cache in hand. Far too many branches and mozzies for comfort, but hey, a cache is a cache.

TFTC

13-Jan-15
Found it. Great hide but very spidery and snakey. Not easy to find any track in. Terrain more like 2-3.

01-Jan-15

Number 2 for the day

14-Dec-14
Azzzz parked the car, and we headed out. As we got closer we headed towards the rocks we saw, but after checking them we realised they were the wrong rocks. We checked the GPS and realised how off we were. We followed the GPS which led us pretty much right to the cache. Azzzz volunteered to go in and grab it. All signed, no sign of the clue for Mr and Mrs Cache or any TBs? TFTC!

14-Dec-14
Pretty easy to find once you're in the right spot! Just follow the co-ords and you'll be right there!

TFTC!

03-Oct-14
Wow I am glad I didn't come in the real dark. I had to be little Miss Fit to get there. TFTC

01-Sep-14
Travelled out this way with Genyo for a night of caching. Probably didn't approach this from the right direction but still found our way. We quickly zeroed in on GZ and Genyo had cache in hand. TFTC!

30-Aug-14
We probably went the wrong way to the park where this cache was. I think a few of the people in the houses above were looking at us wonder about in the dark. Good hide. TFTC

More on the night caching... The night was full of strange sounds like people in the bush around us. Getting bitten by some serious insect and finding most of the caches by luck. Dawesy321 also split his pants over a particularly big creek jump. Overall a kind of spooky night. Thanks to the CO for looking after their caches.

None of the caches I saw tonight had a trackable in them, even though many were reported to have been in the containers.

13-Aug-14
Found it!

09-Aug-14
Kids rode scooters along the bike path, watch out for steep bits and sharp corners lol

11-Jul-14

07-Jun-14
Quick find though a bit moist. tftc

05-Jun-14
Lots of plovers and galahs!! Great to see plenty of birdlife. Found the cache - reasonably
easy to find. On leaving this location, I saw the most beautiful Blue Tiger Butterfly which seemed
to be attracted to the bushes nearby.

03-Jun-14
Found on a caching adventure with Ms Maddy and the geokids. Was a bit stinky in the GZ but an easy find. TFTC. If anyone finds a bouncy ball in the gz miss geokid would really like it back ;-P

03-Jun-14
A morning out caching with Channib and the geo-tots. We piled into one car and hit the trail Smile

Surprised I haven't logged this cache before today. We found a geo-trail and limboed into GZ. The cache was visible and Mr Four opened it up. Cache is in fairly good nick Smile

Awful smell in this patch of scrub, like something died in here. I was keen to get out but had to go back to see if we could locate the bouncy ball. Nope.

On we rolled...

TFTC angermanagement!

25-May-14
Good one. Luckily the GPS showed us the way. Thanks to Darren and Max for their help. A walk in the bush is needed.

18-May-14
Hannah and found this today. We put on our Dora Explorer pack packs and set off. Great hide

03-May-14
TFTC, tricky to get into this one but you just have to go in from the right side.

24-Apr-14
Grate hide but you need people to check the boxes to make sure their always full

18-Apr-14
After a family lunch for Good Friday at Wynnum this morning I decided to grab a few local caches on the way home. I certainly wasn't appropriately dressed for the situation I faced. No one of my favourite caches of the day but found none the less and signed the log. Tftc

07-Apr-14
Bugga to find but after a while we got to it. SUCH AN ADVENTURE!!

07-Apr-14

16-Mar-14
Sorry late entry, found while out walking with the doggies and family.....TFTC

16-Mar-14
Found while visiting the area with my daughter who has bought a house over this way. Which is a great reason to visit more often and complete all the caches in the area! Took Miss Lexie the Border Collie for a walk with us. Found the entry into to this cache. It looks worse than it is really. Cache was safe and sound and in good condition. TFTC and the lovely walk angermanagment

15-Mar-14
Found location but none of us wanted to go in there! Not worth the itches and scratches and possible bites. Nice little bridge nearby.

15-Mar-14
We followed the geotrail in and soon spied a spor!, No itches, scratches or bites for us. TFTC.

11-Mar-14
Nice find. No trackables found.

09-Mar-14

27-Feb-14
Just about to Give up but we found it just in time.

27-Feb-14
It was fun can't wait to do it again

21-Feb-14
Easy find just a bit overgrown.

16-Feb-14
Came back and replaced the box and cache note, the thought of the mould and ants in there was bothering mudstalker and i. Put a new notebook in, am drying the old notebook at the moment. also left a geocaching rock

08-Feb-14
Went for a walk with mudstalker. Found it, container is smashed, everything is soaked.

02-Feb-14
Mr LHE Duo should have been the one to log this one since he was the one who went where I wouldn't go to retrieve it. However, I did get to see the what he found and was not impressed. I have to agree with previous logs that this one needs to be archived unless someone can adopt it. We had to add a log in ziplock bag just so we could log it. There were other logs but all soaking wet. It was a nice area to visit though. TFTC

02-Feb-14
This cache needs replacing. While we added a new log it will not last in a cracked and broken container. Everything in it was soaking wet. I doubt the new log will last past the next shower of rain.

26-Jan-14
The container is cracked and full of water so unable to write in book.

The container is cracked and full of water - the contents including log book are saturated. Needs a new container and book. Cheers

17-Jan-14

16-Jan-14
follow the path

12-Jan-14
Didn't go in!

01-Jan-14
Smile Yep if there are 2 ways to get to a cache I go the wrong way. Came back and parked in the reserve. A quick walk, skirted the cache then went for it. Liked the snake skin draped beside cache so left it there...refer other logs to condition of the cache.

30-Dec-13

18-Dec-13

TYFTC!!

28-Nov-13
Picked this spot because of the two TBs I brought back from the Whitsundays. One wants to be near water, and the other wanted to travel south.

Yes, sistema style container with square lid, lid is cracked and needs replacing.

17-Nov-13
Thanks for the hint. Love those geotrails. Tftc.
