Nice little walk to grab this cache. Had a friendly spider try to help me sign the log.
Lightning visit on the way to elsewhere, so time for just one cache. More left to bring me back. TFTC
I was very happy to find this after my last 2 DNFs. I thought I'd come to Meredith for no reason. Thanks for placing
Wandered around this lovely park on a very frosty morning. Just came off the big red boat from Tasmania and they say Tas is cold! Needed a cache for the latest solstice souvenir. Lots of lovely trees but didnt see any possums. Thanks for the cache 2Dudez.
Staying in Meredith ATM and this was a great little walk for the dog and even better place for her to run round while I quickly located the chache.
Some very interesting tree guards near the best parking for this one.Mr Beetle checked them out while I wandered over to GZ to deal with the cache. As I lifted it from its hiding place the lid came off and the contents went everywhere, some deep down into the root base. After gathering everything up I then had to decide which of the multiple log sheets to sign. Chose the tan sheets as they seemed the driest. This one could do with a little TLC.Thanks 2Dudez.
Quick.stop in Meredith on our way to Ballarat..little trek then quick find in the obvious spot..lid loose but cache and log in excellent condition tftc
TFTC Found with Missy1803. Signed the older log book, which is pretty full. The container lid doesn't seal well, but otherwise all is good here.
Once the GPS stopped bouncing me around three different places the find was quite easy. Cache was dry inside despite the recent rain. You will need your own pen as there is just a pen top in the cache. Bozo didn't bring one so took a pic to show I found it.
Found on my way back from Ballarat. A quick walk and the cache was soon in hand. The container itself does not have a great seal on it and has become cracked. This one might start to get a bit wet without attention. TFTC
I am on my way to work at another Meredith at Festival and I am here early enough that I can actually get a couple of finds under my belt this year thank you so much for the placement of this hide there you happy to report all as well lots of room on the logbook
Passing through on my way to Geelong on a rainy day and as the rain had a shortstop I checked for nearly caches. Saw this one and managed the find before the rain started again.
Final cache in Meredith for the day, amazing how old the log book is, thank you for taking us out here. Pika 23/9/23
Easy enough to find. Cache had full a logbook with entries going back to 2007, that was nice to leaf through.
A whole four day trip with Aquilus1 to do the GeoTour in Ballarat some caching around Geelong and anything else that looked good on the way.
Weather was ok albeit a bit on the wet side for the first two days. Now on day 3 the weather is bice and sunny and we are pressing on with the last few Geotour caches on the way out and driving towards Queenscliff.
This cache was one of the ones we had the oportunity to do.
A nice cache here! Nice and old and in the bush!
Thank you 2Dudez for the nice cache and experience you gave us!

This cache was one found on a trip away with Flintstone's for 4 days. We had the Geotour in Ballarat as our target, and made our way as far as Queenscliff.
Ballarat caching was a joy, and with the tour, we saw many lovely and interesting locations as well as stopping for many other caches as we passed. Lots of little walks helped with the colder first few days as well as being quite scenic.
A change of weather and scenery towards Queenscliff but the coast was a great place to visit with plenty to do and see. As always, more to do than there was time for, will just have to return one day! Thank you for your cache!
Targeted this as older but fitted in well with what was needed.

While passing through Meredith, I decided to check out this spot. Like a possum, I searched around and quickly uncovered the cache. The container seemed to be becoming a bit brittle, but everything inside was intact. I signed my name in the log and carefully put the cache back in its hiding spot. Thanks for the cache!
Out and about with Muggle Husband and daughter Shufflehop, we decided to visit historic Steiglitz. We decided to have lunch in Meredith, after which some caches needed to be found. This chap was found speedily in a logical spot.
On our first Vanlife trip. Rolled off the Spirit and drove straight here to make some breakfast and get some coffee in.
As always we checked for nearby caches and found this one, in good condition, left behind a scout TFTC

While the wife and 3 of the kids stayed to play at the playground I set off with one of the 4th Geokids to come find this one. Nice walk through the butterfly kingdom as he called it on the way the way to find. TFTC
Found with gwd.aussie on our way to an event in Buninyong. Had to stop for this one being definately on a first name basis with Meredith. Known to me by many names but mainly by my little sis.
Thanks 2Ducez

No park and grab for me, as it was an overnight stay in this reserve with the Geo van, a quick grab in the morning before setting off for the day. TFTH
We were heading up the road to Ballarat to visit a client, our accountant and Mr Dromaniax's parents.
We can't say we are big fans of the road between Geelong and Ballarat. We would love it to be a dual carriageway the whole way, but going on past performance, if they started the works today, it wouldn't be finished before 2030
It is nice to break up the drive with a cache and this one in Meredith was a good one to break the drive with today.
A quick find was made, and the cache is in great condition.
Thank you for this cache 2Dudez

Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 12: Start to head home.
Once again myself and Anymules were in Victoria on our way home from a Mega event. We made a detour via Geelong to drop off Bushfire yesterday. That done today we headed to Ballarat where we still had two more Geotour caches to find. [^] Again we spent the day juggling phone and GPS to do many Labs caches and any other caches we were passing with our next overnight digs in St. Arnaud. Many caches were found and unless something stood out these will be generic logs.
We waded our way out to GZ for a quick find. So much water still lying everywhere.
***Thanks 2Dudez for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

An easy find on our way through Meredith after a party. The kids found some good quality swaps. Tftc
TFTC an easy find. Sunny, damp underfoot and a lovely place too stop and listen to the birds. Check out the metal tree surrounds - each named.
I headed down to Geelong early yesterday for the 2 events that were on in the area and after staying at Bunjil’s lookout at Maude last night it was then off to the 2 events near Ballarat today.
I left nice and early as I planned on finding a few caches before needing to be in Smythesdale by 9.30am for the first event.
I have not been along here before so it is nice travelling on roads and in areas that are new to me.
I reached Meredith and if I can remember they used to have a music festival here.
Time for a stop to stretch the legs (not that I have driven to far).
Located the park and there were a couple of caravans that looked like the stayed the night.
Off for a walk through the wet grass and soon located this one.
Thanks 2Dudez TFTC.

Today we were finally going to make it to 1000, we'd headed out this way to tick that landmark off and enjoy what the Golden Plains had to offer. This was our first trip through Meredith on the way to Lal Lal falls. After locating the cache quickly we enjoyed a hit on the near by tennis courts. Thanks for the hide 2Dudez
Nice easy first find for geotoddler with a sighting of an echidna on the way. Very excited little one. TFTC
On my way to Ballarat for work and decided to collect a few smiley faces on the way through. Arrived at GZ in the pouring rain ( glad I have a spare set of clothes). That was my 900th find and I'm well on my way to make my 1k find the mega this January
Cache was in good condition and placed back ready for it's next finder .
Thanks for the hide

Quick park and grab on the way to grandbaby Spencers 1st birthday. Enjoyed watching Cracka1 freak out as a huge huntsman crawled off the cache onto his arm.
On retrieving this one had some run up my arm not sure what it was. S4pphire was laughing ended up being a huge Huntsman Spider
We are on our way to Ballarat to get our 2nd Pfizer jab because we couldn't get an appointment in our home town Geelong. Thought we would grab a couple of cache's on the way . TFTC
Accurate coordinates made this cache a quick find . All's good at gz. Thanks 2Dudez
A caching trip around Meredith and Steiglitz with day1976.
Stopped after a much needed toilet stop after camping overnight, didn't feel safe digging a hole where all the bullants were.

We have passed through this town a few times before, but today we finally got the chance to stop over at this cache, on our way to Geelong for a couple of days. A nice easy find in a lovely park that we didn't know was here. TFTC 2Dudez.
Recently purchased the pub across the road from this one, we all had a good time looking for the cache.
If your out this way pop over to the Meredith hotel for a drink or some food or both if you like !!

The Omega Empire
@ 7415 finds
After a few emails and calls we managed to get a team together for some caching fun on this warm Saturday.
Had a great day putting some smiles on the map and exploring an area I don't get to much with The Empire, Rebel Acts and Snap Happy.
Most caches were found without much trouble.
Cheers for the cache

Cool hiding spot. Interesting contents. Found on a warm, windy day. Timed perfectly after the grass had just finished being mown. TFTC
Beautiful day to do a spot of caching. Headed here to clear up the area. A nice little hide tftc
One day in frozen UK,
We drove to the drop off bay.
Took off high and came down in Australia.
With not much to bring
Bar a satisfied grin,
Less than 800 caches to my name
Then along came a virus
Which sat down beside us
And cancelled my home going plane.
We stuck to the rules
Stayed mostly indoors
But gradually sanity left us.
So with no real plans
But sanitized hands
We set off for a wood full of caches.
Of 1000 I never
Dreamed I would ever
Catch on this trip to down under
But I've stayed here so long
That it wouldn't be wrong
To think I could hit this great number.
How does a stranded pommie know what a possum thinks like... worked it out anyway! Added a TB and a trade mark gummy bear.
My homeward flight has just been cancelled for a 10th time. Getting a bit annoying!

A day off work today so I'm getting out around this area caching. Again very happy someone has been out with the mower, I still walked straight past it, read in the log book that a muggle had found it and was interested in our little game. TFTC
Watched a couple of bunnies frolicking in the long grass.
Thanks for the cache 2Dudez.

Thanks 2Dudez for placing this Regular Traditional - this is find 1547 for BFMC

Whilst on a day trip to the beach, we decided to grab a couple on the way and this one was on our list! Pulled in, went for a quick walk to GZ and after the GPS hopped around for a minute, we found our final destination with a good sized reward! TFTC, TNLNSL, CIGC
Found while checking out Meredith and camping nearby. Great little park nearby. Thanks for the cache.
