Logs
With the area being recommissioned, and the cache missing, this one is going to the archives. Lots of finds completed, so I think it's had its day. Thanks everyone (and hccatcher and allrounder for confirming its demise)
I can confirm this one is missing as hccatcher11415 and I went to replace the log on Friday night (16 September)...

We couldn't keep looking for this one due to many muggle workers walking around with their hard hats on so we gave up but will try again later. Thanks.
Did this after dark (not really dark here thanks to the street lights but oh well). The log has only a couple more empty spots left so may worth checking soon
Much more of a challenge with the construction work going on - clue was invaluable.

No muggles here anymore as the place is shut. An easy find in the early morning. TFTC
Quick little find. Follow the description and hint, GPSr accuracy not the best.

TFTC, quick find with KurtCee. Didnt realise that most of the shops had closed down
GMelb is up in Canberra again today for a work meeting which finished early enough for him to get an early flight back to Melbourne. With a bit of time up his sleeve he decided to see if he could get the cache this time as last time he attempted there was an evacuation of the building and there were people everywhere!
Easy find this time whilst he was on the phone to me so I can log it straight away lol
TFTC Fore! Especially for one at the airport!
GJMMelb
PS Forgot to say he did this without the GPS which was back in Melbourne! He knew the general GZ from last time.

Found on a cool cloudy drive around the area.
Had to use the clue as the co-ords were a fair bit away.

Being a public holiday it was pretty quiet at GZ, but still had to try and look innocent while waiting for some Muggles to walk past. This was our first micro cache in Canberra! Nice easy find with the clue!
Completed this one at 8:15pm on a damp night. Nice and quite as I took my time searching for what was bound to be a small micro. Eventually, went to the clue as the chilly night air chipped away at my patience. TFTC.
With Geo-bro fresh off the plane we wasted no time in heading out to reach a couple of milestones today. 200 hundred for us and 300 for the Geo-bro. A little drama on the roads on the way to the find distracted us a little - a three car pile up. Wow - Canberra drivers just don't do following distances! Anyway, as we approached the GZ we had a fair idea of what we'd be looking for and we weren't disappointed. All in good condition - TFTC
=) ok departed brisbane airport at 6:30am arrived at canberra around 8:30 ish, tamed a quick feed at micky d's and cache buddies zita&enzo had already made plans to cache it up instantly, this was the first find on my mission to 300 in canberra, TFTC !! =)
Wow. That was a goose chase! But big thanks for the good description and hint. Had the right idea but was of tgt =). TFTC
We found this one late on a Sunday night so we didn't have Muggles to worry , this one reminded us of the micro hidden in the Canberra centre. Nice hide in what is a very public spot. TFTC
one the best micros so far....
very high muggle area.....
great container.....
Thanks Fore!.. u done it again!!

Surprisingly GPS wasn't as wishy washy as expected, but clue sent me directly to GZ so no need to fuss over accuracy over GPS. TFTC
We didn't go to swimming tonight because I had my carnival at school today, so we thought we could find this while nobody was around. It was an easy find. The clue really helped. Not many muggles in the evening. Cool hiding spot and area. TFTC.
A nice easy find. I thought the coords were out, but the hint meant I soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
On a day off from work before school went back, took the geokid to Brand Depot and met Fitzy for lunch, had a little walk outside afterwards and what do you know - a cache!! I guess this cache will be going soon, just like everything else at Brand Depot, it was VERY quiet today. Maybe Costco will take over the whole site?

Thanks to my lovely [xx(] geocaching assistant, allrounder, the log has been replaced. Come and get it!
Oh, but the log is totally full and needs replacing. I just put my initials (TP) because there was no room!
Wow. This is clearly the smallest cache I've ever seen. My first (and possibly last) visit to Brand Depot.
See what you mean by the coords!
Log is full, but found space to write "S68" but it looks like "568", oh, well. No date 'cause there's no room.
I'm going back to my mantra "I don't do nanos!" (but this on was ok).

Smallest cache I've found to date. Didn't write in log as too delicate. Coords out by around 10-15m. Hint essential.
GPS was jumping all over the place - lucky it was a quite public holiday and the muggle traffic was light-on. TNLNSL.
Found this one on the way to do some last minute Christmas shopping.
Thanks Fore!
Thanks Fore!
Had to find this one before the Depot openned - a cunning plan to evade the muggles me thinks Baldrick. Funny when the geo-wife couldn't go shopping.... Thanks Fore TFTC.
Came for a cache but got more than I bargained for. Got some rocking Santa photos, had a great cup of coffee with the Simpsons movie thrown in for free, and found my favourite public bathrooms and parent rooms in Canberra thus far (nice view!). Of course, all topped off with a micro find in the middle of the day - muchos gracias Fore!
When I arrived I went straight to GZ which was WAY out, as it turned out !
So it was on with the hint, and soon the cache was in hand !
Seems I had to wait until near the end to finally nab a Fore! cache - thanks for this one !

2nd time back at this one .. . Found it this time, same place we looked last time... Maybe we looked straight through it last time?
Was in the area so picked this up. The GPS did go haywire so relied on the clue to find it. It's a bit hard to look stealthy while trying to get the cache out from there! Thankfully, no issues and didn't take too long. The big drama was when I retreated to the car to write the log and dropped the log scroll under my seat. Under 5 minutes of searching (it is a small scroll!) found it and successfully replaced. Note to self - clean under the seat. TFTC.
Surprisingly quick find @ 1035 - I usually struggle with micros. SL, then decided to explore inside - the cache was the most entertaining part of the visit! TFTC.
Don't know why you'd want to spend a fortune here.
nice and easy grab..after waiting for rednecks to finally go to their car and leave.

A quick log dashing from the airport to where I was really supposed to be... SLTNLN TFTC!
After my 29 Apr DNF, I came back today (public holiday with low muggle numbers) with Geoson, and after a short look about found it glistning in the sunlight as the cammo is coming off making it easy to see. I will not mention how much wife and daughter spent inside while the boys were outside. TFTC
Suscoe found this cache during a quick stop for food before boarding the red roo for a trip south to home.
Nice hide and a quick signing.

With time to spare before my flight out I had the cab driver drop off beside the cache. I spotted the cache immediately but also spied the security guard spotting me at the same time. Muggle guard outlasted the phone call I decided to make so I had no option but the go in an spend a fortune.
On the way back out i was able to grab the cache while making another (real ) call. The afternoon was young as I was able to amble back to the terminal via the Bridge Banter cache

Fairly quick find using the clue and a bit of dexterity. A few disinterested muggles waiting for the bus at the end of the shopping day. TFTC
Found during a business trip to Canberra. Very low muggle density so a quick find. TFTC
Nice quick find and retreival at 11pm. Just a couple on the otherside of the carpark talking endless love on the back seat of a car.
Nice quick find with the hint. Family had never seen a Nano sized cache before so this was a treat for them.
Took a little bit of added length to get it out of its hide but an engineered solution had the cache in hand soon after.

Pretty sure we were in the right spot... Was the only one clean in between and nothing there... I think muggles were here.
Bee4 has a thing for lego and had beensearching at home for a particular set that was only carred by a particualr retailer. When we arrived in Canberra he had spotted the sign and as we had some spare time this afternoon we headed out to see if they had had it.
He was in & out of the shop with his prize before I had a chance to lock the car. He had the biggest smile on his face, so it didn't take too much convincing to go find the cache.
The GPSr lead us straight toward GZ but we used the hint to go to the right spot.
The place was relatively quiet but maybe we were observed.

Didn't use a GPS for this one as I knew it wouldn't work, located it after a bit of wondering around. funny how many people show up 10 mins before closing time. TFTC SL
Thanks for the quick lunch time jaunt.

Lots of muggles on a Friday afternoon, but the mobile phone makes a great excuse to loiter! TFTC!
Showed up during a rather sleepy lunchtime today. Found a likely spot, so decided to play it cool and sit down next to it... and I sat on a bird poo! Eww. Scuttled back to the car to get some tissues to wipe my trousers... Found the cache readily, avoided the arachnids and extracted it. Signed log and replaced, out of reach of muggles but not determined cachers! TFTC.
found easy with the directions but needed a tool to retrieve. TFTC. Got some very weird looks from some shoppers but getting used to that.
This is my second try at this one. I did it at night when it would be quiet, but I was close to the spot when a AFP car pulled up asking what I was doing. I just said I wanted to see the new shopping complex and he said it was more interesting when it was open. So I took the hint and left without the find.
Hey Hey - another lunch time cache bites the dust. Tricky to extract - however easy to replace "just out of reach". Hopefully this one stays as it's a pretty cool hiding spot. If you get stuck with lots of muggles around pretend you on the phone and look disinterested. As the circus is on lots are around - however not a sole for about 30 seconds when I came out of the shops so you beauty.

a quick maintenance run on this one today - so many caches, so little time to maintain!!!
anyway, micro in place now ( seems it went walkabout!) and is nestled with the arachnids, so make sure you bring something to extract it with... improvisation is always useful.
Please ensure it is returned to a spot that fingers alone cannot grasp - that's the key to avoid muggling here.
Happy caching!

Just a little spending, and a coffee between hunts.
Examined all possibilities and kept coming back to the one item. All had spider webs and egg sacs in the gaps, except the one hinted at - webs only there. No cache spied. Used the alternative co-ords supplied in another log, which also confirmed the spot we hunted.
A real pity if this is missing, as the only other 2 near the airport have logs suggesting they are missing also, even if not disabled.

Had a 3hr layover at the airport here flying from Melbourne to Perth (via Canberra - yes, don't ask), so decided to make the most of it, and find a few caches.
Quick & easy find although the GPS said I was 18-27m away from GZ haha. Took the coords as .948 .421 FWIW.
Thanks for the cache.

I think the log is sort of fullish but I was so excited to make the find, I can't remember
Nice easy find, TFTC...................................................................ha ha ha ha ha (in joke),
I started looking for this one over a year ago, always a few people about so hard to do a serious search.
At the end of the day, it's not true that I got my lefties and my righties mixed up.
However, there may be a tad of truth that I may have, just slightly, possibly may have in fact got my "to"s and 'from"s slightly juxtaposed.
Ahem, thank you Fore for another quality hide......... and I now shall slowly slink off into the sunset.

Nobody spending any fortune here today. Therefore no muggling and a very fast find.

Quick grab with no muggle difficulty at 7pm. GPS was going nuts, so ignored it. Cache needs a new coat of paint as it stands out even more in this colour scheme. TFTC.
On my way back to town and decided to drop by, found quickly without GPSr as I decided the map was enough. Didnt have the clue on me but just got lucky and started from the right end.

Nice hidden spot. Not many muggles at this time. SL. Thanks Fore! for organising the cache and hunt.
A lunch time cache find with TienHua caching buddy. As everyone else pointed out the GPS did not like this area. TFTC! Edit - got the date wrong - silly geocaching.com being U.S. time... [:0]
Found with rbirtles at lunchtime. Used some sneaky methods and a bit of teamwork to work out precisely where this one was located. Thanks, Fore!
Finally found. Yes, my iPone had me wandering all over the place last time. I was quite annoyed when Thelostmatt found it in a spot similar to where I had searched last time. Must have missed this area in my search.
Fantastic thunder and lightning! Close ground strikes and all.
