This cache has apparently been muggled and the log book was retrieved by another muggle on the roadside. Disabling it until the owner can do repairs.

Another great day of caching, full of fun, lots of laughs and antics, and another big haul of target caches. At the recent QOGM event, a tentative booking for a paddle up Noosa way was made by Esmiley. Willis007 and myself jumped at the chance to grab a few target caches that we needed for loops and challenge caches. We even got Nayfee out for the long day to join us. Over the last few days, a plan was hatched; we first started on Lake Mcdonald to finish off some paddle caches. From there it was a drive around picking up, well more like cleaning up oldies and trads as we went along. My main target was “Traditional” as I had been here twice before and never succeeded (more to follow on that one). A few more around Noosa way and then down the highway to finish in Peregian Beach area. Truly, a fantastic day and one that goes into the books as a fun adventure day.
We parked right next to the cache and it seems the toes have a good grip on this one. we were very surprised to see this one here and in such an open area. Thank you for the cache and with log signed we were on our way again.

I had the pleasure to join Chamad, Willis007 and E_Smiley for a full days expedition on the stunning Sunny Coast. The morning started off with a quick paddle on Lake MacDonald than slowly but surely we made our way towards Noosa than south down the coast. The goal for the day was to grab any Q1000 caches we could and a bunch of other caches in the region that would go towards several challenges we're working on.
What a fabulous day with great company, I guess you can't complain about the weather either, it was a perfect day to be outdoors. We had a blast!
Thank you for the cache and thank you for giving us a reason to stop by today.

Seeing as i was in the neighbourhood, i thought i'd drop by and check out this old cache.
It's been here so long the trees grown around it, so cool.
Luckily the ammo tin still opens and the log can be reached..... for now.
Left the trackable for the next people.
Thanks trade federation for hiding a cache in what i can only guess is possibly your front yard.. and keeping it alive for us to find!

Found it. It’s getting tight to open the lid but you gotta love the old ammo boxes.
A joy to find one of these in “suburbia”. 14 years old almost, and it feels like the tree is growing around it. Thanks so much!
While traveling to Gympie with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to stop and find a few caches along the way...
All Good .. TFTC ..

Heading for home after a fun few days at Rainbow Beach. Decided to make a small detour and create another smiley for my map. It was raining slightly so grabbed my umbrella to keep me dry and protect the cache as well.
At GZ I found the beasty without a hassle and then had a bit of fun trying to get it open! The mighty tree has certainly got a good hold of it. Certainly won't be muggled any time soon.
Finally I managed to pop open the lid and access the log. I left some scribble and then replaced everything as it was.
Thanks for the cache Trade Federation

The questions whether the neighbours know about this cache was quickly answered when the home owner came and greeted us while signing the cache. Hard to open....TFTC
An easy cache to find but difficult to open as it is becoming one with the tree. Had to call geohubby to come and help open it for me. TFTC
On our last visit to Cooroy we turned up just after 1pm on a Saturday looking for a coffee and had to be content with the RSL that day. That has bugged me ever since and so I set myself a goal of visiting while the cafes were still open.
My wife and I decided to head out while all our teenage kids were still in bed and drove up from Redcliffe through the occasional shower but for the most part it was dry. I started to think that a cache or two could be on the cards.
We walked through the shops and finally entered a cafe expecting perfection but basically would have been happy with anything hot. We did get an amazing coffee and my wife ordered a small iced latte which she cuddled with more love than any of her kids. She rates it possibly the best she has ever had but she is quite drunk as I write this and her testimony is questionable.
With the weather starting to look good I tried to squeeze a cache in. 200 metres away from GZ the skies just opened up pouring down harder than a bladder that hasn’t seen porcelain in a month. We sat in the car for five minutes and we couldn’t believe how cruddy our luck was. Finally my courageous wife said she couldn’t wait any longer and ran out to bring the cache into the car.
I laughed my bum off as I watched her getting drenched trying to bring a cache back to the car that isn’t designed to move. Finally we just had to bite the bullet and jumped under the umbrella together while I stamped the log and showed her how to close an ammo box. A 1.0/1.0 cache that took us 15 minutes to complete after we first laid eyes on it. We are hopeless. tftc

Watch out for the Jumping Jack Ants (look them up) under the same tree. DANGER BEWARE - especially children.
Had to drop the kids back to their mums today. Decided to break up the drive a bit with some caching of course. Cooroy North was the target today and cleaned my map up a little bit more
The GZ was obvious upon arrival. Not a case of if it's there, but where was it specifically. Walking up it was quickly spotted with some not so discrete camo. Bit of trouble opening the cache up because the roots have grown but I got there in the end.
Log signed and replaced, checked thoroughly for the two listed TB's but they're both missing unfortunately
Thanks for the cache Trade Federation, it's in good condition and it makes find #348.

A day on the road with Suzee` and a coffee. I have eyed this one off a few times in recent years, as it is close enough to the freeway as I zoom past constantly - waving at me from the side of my car GPS screen. But I never before stopped. I did today. One of the easier finds I've had in recent years.
Thanks for placing this cache, Trade Federation. Found in good condition.

After a long break we decided to go out for a few caches today. This was the first for the day and a quick find. Thanks.
Sure did pick a hot weekend to hit the Noosa Trails at Kin Kin but had a lovely soak in Lake Carabawhatsit chased by icy cold beer and slept like a princess in my tent at Boreen Point.
Bizarre this cache has lasted so long in this spot

Visiting the Sunshine Coast area for a few days of caching. Visited many interesting places and found a variety of cache containers. Thank to all the COs for the effort of placing and maintaining your caches.
