This was fun finding! The starting point is a fabulous dog park and the iconic structure fits well into the park. The final coordinates I thought I had sorted out, but I rang a PAF and found out I was wrong. As time was at a premium we took his final coordinates and I will work out where I went wrong soon. The final find was another challenge which The _Evil_Muggle helped with just as the last light of the day faded.
Geoturtle37 and I were in the area lending a hand so took some time to search for some smileys. As we approached this one, GT37 was sure that she had been here before and it seems she had but will make sure she remembers to log it. Thanks for placing the cache for all to enjoy.
A day trip out here with +Wife, nirgalagrin, and EveTheStaffy for an event and a geology lesson, followed by a random assortment of geocaches. We generally try to find a few caches that were placed or are maintained by locals attending the same event as us.This was a very clever hide indeed. Thank you Romax and BigSnuffler.
15:37An invitation was extended to accompany n0w0rries+Wife and EveTheStaffy to Bendigo for an event and a geology lesson. Of course I accepted. After learning a lot at micaparamedic's newly published Earthcache, it was off on the hunt again. This was our first quarry. At GZ, we stood and scratched our heads for a little while... then I spotted something. And it moved.Oh, very clever. The hardest part was hooking the container from the spot that fits like a glove. Thanks, Romax, for setting this up,and bigsnuffler for keeping it in play. Great to see you today.#9027
We arrived at WP1 just on dusk and finally found the clever clue. With the final location worked out it was off to GZ to search by torchlight. Once again a clever method of hiding in typical Romax style. SL at 6.02pm Left: harrows pathtag #11.092 A favourite point awarded. TFTC Romax and Bigsnuffler for your efforts.
Another fun find with deanside and nana. This one had us walking between driving to get a little closer..... Found in the last place we looked which was not the first. Thanks to bigsnuffler and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! Having had to return to Bendigo with mum again today, may as well make the most of the beautiful weather and get some smileys in the company of TeamAstro. What a great GZ and a nice sneaky hide! Lovely old thing at GZ dont want to give it away! Thanks bigsnuffler for showcasing this area and contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!
Time to get away for the weekend, so a weekend trip to Bendigo (& St Arnaud) was organised with Geoturtle37.Today with the geo-scooters all powered up, we targetted the ORT & PPPT trails.Thankfully GT37 had already done the hard yards on this one, so we knew where gz was going to be. However, it took a while to locate the sneaky blighter. Eventually I "accidentally" touched something that moved that shouldn't. Wow! How clever! A fav point awarded here.I still wanted to visit wp1, which we did after we returned to our geovehicle. But the muggles were everywhere, so we decided to return another day. I'll get there eventually! Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, bigsnuffler ~~
So pleased to find this cache whilst scootering along the O'Keefe Rail Trail. OHC made short work of locating the cache which was signed and returned and we were on our way. I always try to find the older caches when possible so this was a bonus whilst enjoying this trail. Thank you for keeping this older cache active.
Coordinates changed from:S 36 45.314 E 144 18.836Coordinates changed to:S 36 45.402 E 144 18.816Distance from original: 544.4 feet or 165.9 meters.Updating coordinates at CO request. The structure on which the original wp1 was hidden has been removed as part of an extensive renovation of the area. The works are now complete and I have hidden a replacement wp1 item nearby. A TOTT may now be required to retrieve the information you require.
A favourite for a good hide.We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas. Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained. We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them. This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache bigsnuffler.**SKI Pair****
I'm hitting the road again with my Rebel Acts and Ski Pair to have some fun and explore new places. While I don't mind caching locally, there is nothing like a road trip for a few days putting smiles on the map. I had a great time with lots of laughter and caching fun. Today's logs are signed as RASPOM.
Seeing as i am now the guardian for this cache i thought i probably should pop out and find it. I had put off heading to the final as i wanted to find the item at the posted coordinates first. On advice from others, i now understand the item has been missing for some time, no wonder i couldnt find it. Today i dropped in with a replacement but found there are major works being undertaken including the removal of the structure on which it was placed.Once the works are completed i will see about a new placement but in the meantime i can assure you that the final is in place, in good condition, and ready to be found. Its a great hide, i would give it a favorite point if i could.
You little beauty, ROMAX, im finally onto you and you crafty hides. Today, I headed back to GZ bright and early to redeem this DNF from last week. I have to admit I did reach out to a PAF, and yes, I was kicking myself when the cache was finally retrieved.. I was so close last week.
This cache was an Epic fail...way point 1 ....I had no idea were to look for said information...so I had to reply on a PAF ....over to GZ again Epic fail....way to good a hide for me..and I did search both up and down many times before calling time. Oh well I shall hopefully one day return
We arrived in St Arnaud on Sunday and decided to stay for a couple of days before continuing our journey to Bendigo. We caught up with our good friends Tyred n Cranky and Fuf009, while we were here we also caught up with ChooknChunk.
In our time here we found many high quality caches that we have come to expect from these CO's, there will be many Favs passed onto these high quality caches.

Well there is an event on in Bendigo today that might involve some ice cream so a message to my good caching buddy GemmaSistema was sent out to see if she wanted to spend another fun day out caching as a lot of things have gotten in the way of us going out recently.
One of the best navigators going around as I could easily get myself lost in a carpark.
A total of 36 caches and a few Ad Labs thrown so a good day out.
Relocating the Geowagon on a couple of sections of the rail trail and after working out the coords off we went to GZ.
At GZ this is why we don’t wear good clothes and I eventually came across this very sneaky cache that is worthy of a fav point.
Thanks Romax TFTC.

Found with Posums on our caching day in and around Bendigo. Posums made the clever find here. Very nicely done. Fav from me! Thanks for the cache
Well, I'd have to be one of the luckiest people alive today. I lost my footing at GZ and took a 3 metre tumble down the steep bank. Although I'm only tiny . I was able to pick myself up from my unusual contorted state. I really thought I'd broken a collar bone or my right arm. Hopefully the muscle in my arm is just badly sprained. It's my own fault, I didn't have on the geo-boots I normally wear. These runners just skated down the long grass from the first few steps and I just kept on going. Meanwhile, at GZ, Brian had his Romax brain switched on and in no time found our reward cleverly camouflaged and hidden. We signed the log and returned the cache to its hidey-hole. Everything was in excellent condition. I have been chatting with catnap777 today and I think it might be worth the CO have a quick check at WPT1 to make sure all is ok. Thank you for the adventure and thank you catnap777. Worth a fav point from us.
Found today after being at the event then having a nice lunch at Lake view wth Catnap, Dalierious& Cybergran V

Visiting Bendigo with my partner and my mother (catnap777 and Cybergran V), we made a day of it by aiming for a couple of multis as well as attending the "buhfuhguh's Bendigo Lunchtime Variety Hour!" where we teamed up with LizzieandE to make ammends on this one straight after lunch.
A fortunate conversation at the event helped us with what we failed to find at the posted coords before the event.
Our second piece of luck was having cat' with us at GZ where she found this diabolical hide from a place I was sure I had just looked.

An enjoyable day spent in Bendigo with dalerious, Cybergran V and LizzieandE, attending an event, going out for lunch and grabbing a few caches here and there .
I have visited the first wp of this multi in a previous life and didn't get any further. Today I was with my man and the same problem ensued. We were pointed in the right direction by the CO which finally got us to gz where a very cleverly hidden cache was located.
Thank you Romax and claybol for providing a challenge for us; you never fail to test us .

Thanks for this one which Catnap777 located after a short stroll for us to get some exercise.

We had been to WP 1 about 4 times without success so eventually decided to PAF which aided us immensely.
We are getting to know what to expect from ROMAX now. So, Mr Riddell reached GZ and was having a quick look and noted something different. He then had the cache in hand before Mrs Riddell was on the scene!!!
Romax is always so sneaky and a master craftsman.
TFTC and to Jtnsilo for her continued cache maintenance.

Ok
What an epic adventure this one was!
We searched at WP 1 for 2 days! Going all hours of the day and night, playing with everyone’s dogs while slipping and sliding all over the structure
But no luck
Eventually we bit the bullet and asked for a hint
With new info in hand back we went, spent more time searching and still came up empty handed
CO took pity on our lame attempts and sent us some help which we could use to locate the final GZ
So armed with torches and trepidation we headed off into the night
We knew it would be a tricky hide and with more slipping and sliding and cursing we decided we may need to just call it and walk away
One last scout around and the shout was heard “it’s here!”
Some trouble to retrieve but we got the blighter and celebrated with a victory dance that would have confused all passers by, had there been any!

Away for a long weekend of caching with Freddo and Four Fun.
Over 300 caches in 4 days means that the logs will be mainly generic.
The main target of our mission was to finish off the Mt Disappointment series. We achieved our target along with other caches as we headed east and then west.
My apologies for the generic logs.

Find # 6967
Found with sharkiefan
After the International Geocaching Day event in Bendigo, we decided to dodge the rain and make a couple of finds before heading back to the warmth of home.
Abit of a clamber up a hill and a sneaky hide found indeed. Another typical and brilliant Bendigo hide at GZ.

I had the required numbers collected quite awhile ago with the final calculated. Today was when I headed out to make this find. I'd parked on the wrong side of the creek that was flowing, so had to ascend to a level to allow me to get to GZ. After locating the cache I returned to the geovehicle which turned out to be a little treacherous as my feet went out from under me while making the final descent but I was able to save myself before hitting the deck.

In Bendigo today enjoying the first day of Spring and the sunny day it has produced, in the company of McLookers, with the aim of working our way through some of the local multi's.
With many dogs sniffing us out as we searched fruitlessly for the next stage info, not once but twice. Without any luck we resorted to some help to glean the necessary information to lead us to GZ. This was a very sneaky hide that had been overlooked on the first sweep around on this very impressive structure. Lucky for us today mr triton was on fire and found the well concealed cache container.
Thanks Romax for the gaelic connection and a damn fine hide.

After a very long and fruitless search at the posted co-ords we enlisted help. With further information, we again searched with no luck. More information was shared and we got our thinking caps on. We had some likely co-ords so off we went. We searched and searched and then Mr Tritonz came up with the very well concealed cache. I don't think muggles would even find this one. Thanks Romax.
This one had given me a real headache till i discovered my error with the waypoint. then with some time to spare I headed off to find the cache. Quickly found, and just where i had sussed out months earlier by sheer mental power but so wanted the co ords , (a real duh moment there.) so with 3 pinpoints now on top of each other. !! I added my name and a smilie. thanks Roma and Max
I found the coordinates to GZ at the first waypoint a couple of weeks ago but with the 2 children, decided to wait to make the final find until a another time. This evening after work I thought I'd make my way to make the final find. I discovered the container after a short search and after a bit more thought worked out how to extract it. Very clever! Thanks for the hunt and the cache Romax!
Out for afternoon with AzzB finding nearby caches. Didn't take long to discover co-ords at first waypoint, while stealthily avoiding muggles. Drive down to GZ and were amazed at the very clever hide. Thanks Romax for the fantastic cache!
Far too many muggles about today...was starting to look very conspicuous! Will try again another time.

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
Currently camped at Aysons Reserve we headed out today towards the rail trail today as the weather was forecast to be 28degrees and slightly overcast.
Turned out to be a beautiful day with some riverviews, and we saw many farm animals plus a rabbit that came across our path and rather startled us. So many muggles along the way today being Sunday. Tried to help a couple with a flat tyre on the trail but sadly their problems were beyond our little repair kit. We found all but 1 cache we attempted today and returned weary and hungry from our big day out. We needed better suspension on our bikes as we were both quite sore in the buttox on the return. Fabulous day out.
Thanks to the CO's for the variety of cache types and sizes today. A lovely area to visit.

Suscoe's 5th find of 25 on this delightful Saturday as this warm spell just rolls on and on.
We had an enjoyable day doing the rounds of Bendigo visiting caches here and there.
We were joined by the muggle sisters for a while and we had lots of fun with them.
This took us a little while but what else would we expect from a Romax cache.
Then off to GZ and the clever hide was found.
Thanks to Romax. A favourite.

Have attempted this hide before with Tamzy but couldn't find it, today however I was successful very well hidden TFTC
I have attempted this cache previously with PaddyJak but didn't come up with the goods, after finding one of your hides last weekend in a similar location I came with determination and left with a find! Glad to finally cross this one of my list! Day 9 of consecutive finds today thanks Romax!
I had parked the geomobile nearby, and set off for a ride around the northern parts of towne
Before returning to reclaim the geomobile I took advantage of the lack of dog guided muggles in the midday heat to wander around the area
A look under the bridge at least answered the question of what it was used for in a previous life
But in the midday heat I couldn't find any clues as to where to head to next
As always a return visit in the next few days should sort that out
I'm like a dog with a bone sometimes, once I taste a cache I won't let it go
And I love garlic ... oh wait ... I love the Gaelic, to be sure !!

Found this with bogonghazy on a weekend assault to Bendigo and beyond. Fantastic recycling idea for the old bits. What a shame there isn't more of that done. The required numbers were soon in hand, and we set off for the final. Thanks to Romax, as always I love your clever ideas, and hides. Giving this one a fave.
After completing the PPPT, Milestone challenge and 4X4 series with Sully1, it was time to head back to civilised areas for some urban caches.
Seeing a Romax multi ALWAYS means a nice challenge and usually a surprise at the end.
We weren't disappointed at either end, and like Sully, giving this a well-deserved fave.
Thanks Romax

Dried out the container and renewed the zip bags, all ok now, although council have denuded the area in a major clean up and when signing the log you will be exposed to all passers by now!
Another big day caching in Bendigo and surrounds with 67 finds and no DNF's. Started the day caching out to Axedale then spending a day with the Central Victorian Geocachers on a 4WD adventure through the Fosterville Hills.
There were a number of caches placed for the event including a smiley face geoart in the forest. Also completed a number of challenge caches for various milestones and made a find on an unpublished cache.
Finished the day with some CBD night caching before heading back to the cabin for a bourbon and pizza.
Quick find in the dark tonight - evidence of a lot of water through here. TFTC.

Found with ronnienash at night. Having done a few romax caches certainly helped with this one and we completed it fairly quickly. Nice final hide, well hidden. The container is a little wet inside but the log was still dry.
A clever cache that would have been much trickier in the dark tonight if I hadn't of seen similar Romax designs. The cache had some water in it which we drained out but the log was double bagged and still dry. Thanks for the fun.
Second find for the morning.
With Andrew in the lead in the work van (on call weekend) we took off to find this one after the Five Minute Mark.
Found the item that was used previously as mentioned in the cache notes.
Whilst chatting to dog owners and their dogs Andrew found the letters required so I could convert them to numbers.
Andrew put the coords into his tomtom and off we went.
When we got to GZ Andrew said YEP, this is where I spotted the owners one day...shoulda known...lol
We soon had cache in hand and log signed.

Mrs TiedyeSmileys spotted the required information, but just at that moment Mr TiedyeSmileys said aloud maybe these letters are what are required. Mrs TiedyeSmileys then started to try and work them into the cache and was puzzling over it for a little while. Mr TiedyeSmileys then went to where Mrs TiedyeSmileys was looking earlier and proudly produced the goods.

The owner might want to check to make sure the cache is still there.

What an great little multi, we were able to start another multi mid way to the final for this one too.. Thanks Romax for a well thought out cache.. one worth of a dip of my transport related tb's..
Nice easy find at WP1 spotted some tadpoles which was cool. With the coordinates decoded I then proceed a short ride to GZ. Upon arriving there I decided that I could see no other way and and proceeded in a straight line to the cache.. Bad mistake as per usual I did something not all that bright and decided to climb through the blackberry bushes. It didn't take to long to feel sharp pain in my legs and realize that the bushes in fact had prickles on them. Kamikaze cacher really needs to look before leaping. My next thoughts were "Hay there is a path over there, why don't I go that way instead" I surprisingly quickly found the cache and was then on my way. Many thanx to Romax for this great cache.

Our apologies to the cache owner but there has been many issues that have slowed us down and hopefully once all our caches are up to date we will log on the go. the second cache of 13 for today. My thanks to Romax for the cache.

This was a nicely constructed multi and the hide at the GZ was brilliantly constructed as we expected a romax cache to be! We had to dodge a huntsman and it took a little bit to remove, so there was a little fear and plenty of laughter. We thoroughly enjoyed this one, thanks for the great cache. SL TNLN
Another one of Romax's clever multi hide.
Crank1 found it before me.

Loved this one, havn't done many multi's, but we were trying to decipher the clues. Thanks guys had a great time.
Started this one yesterday and the old man found the first wpt whilst Squid was getting chased by a dog. Ran out of time so headed back to do the 2nd today. Bluey came up with it before I got there. No swaps but again enjoyed the skillful hide. It's given us some inpiration for our first one to be released shortly. TFTC.
Found with my mate Blacklegend17 (Marshy) during our 2 day Bendigo cache blitz. The torches were out for this one as it was now night time. Found the clues on the interesting structure at WP1 and then made our way to GZ. Headed in from the wrong direction and had to battle blackberry bushes. Had a bit of trouble retrieving the cache. TFTC.
22nd find for the day on my caching trip with my caching buddy, Marty (Quasar3671) in Bendigo for two days of non stop caching fun. Well, at the time of night we found this on, it was into night caching mode and the torches were out. Enjoyed this one, WP1 was different as was the object it was hidden on. Made the trek to GZ and ended up heading to the cache from the wrong end of the structure, meaning we had blackberries and water issues. Got it in the end for a well hidden cache. Have seen a similar bridge hide in Wangaratta area, very nice.
Well WP1 was an easy find, but the code has me flummoxed. Just what is the "standard" code? having used lots of codes in my time about 10-12 come to mind and I have no idea at all.
Couldn't make sense of the clues, but found what I think is the right playground. This was my second hunt ever so I am still working out what to look for.
For the first time, I think we are getting the hang of a Romax hide. Yay. This was our 200th find and we hoped that we could find it here and today we were able to quickly find WPT1 and the GZ. Thanks Romax for another clever hide.

Wow - enjoyed myself - excellent hide spot.... No swap. SL. Thanks Romax for organising the cache and hunt.
Im so glad Phetlern initiated us in finding Romax caches or I never would have found this one. Nice linear park I never knew existed. Found first WP after 10 mins of searching. Plugged in new coords, 220m to GZ, I can walk that before sunset.... 10 mins later, still 220m??? Somehow the 'distance to destination' was reset to display 'elevation' on my GPS...grrr. Oh well keep walking, dog enjoying the extended walk. Found GZ after 2 mins of searching, getting to understand Romax's hiding techniques by now! Got back to car as last streaks of sunlight were fading, feeling some what triumphant. TFTC
AliCopter, my 2 daughters and Brother found this one. 10 out of 10 today. Great having holiday except hubby was at work, maybe next time. Great cache, really had fun doing this as we had a lot of a laughs.
One of my girls got mud on her don't know how so we had a laugh at that and the blackberry bushes kept grabbing us too. Got the info needed then off we went to the GZ where we found it. We arrived at GZ and we had another laugh as both girls thought the spotted it and race to the other side which we thought was a bit funny only to find a yellow bucket which wasn't it so back to the other side we went. I ended up finding it before they got back but let them have a look. They found it, signed the log, had a laugh and off we went home. Great find, great fun and a great laugh. Thanks for this one.

Found wpt 1 in the hail. The things you do for a find.
Off to gz to sign the log in a clever hide.
Thank you Romax.

Found at 1015. Waypoint 1 was a quicker find than expected, loved the hide at GZ. Thanks Romax.
My 109th find.
Found with Hanseeka and Kaztrekka.
2nd attempt at this one.
Arrived at Wpt1 and searched for 10 mins before dad found the clue to GZ.
Once at GZ we had another 10 min search before i located the cache.
Might take people who arnt from bendigo a while to find (where used to these Romax caches now)

My 100th find
This was another tricky one, we had been to wpt1 before and couldn't find the clue we came home and read the comments and returned today. Again Hanseeka husband was the one to find this clever hide after a few minutes searching the wrong areas, Then off we went to GZ. 379jonti379 again ran ahead, I don't know where he gets the energy, was I like that at 14?
But alas he had to wait for Hanseeka dad to give him the correct area to search from the GPS, took a few minutes, When the familiar "Found it call" rang out from379jonti379. Signed the log and left a 100th calling card to note my 100th find, your caches helped me a lot to get to that number,so I was glad it was one of yours Romax!
Thanks again Roma and Max for all your ingenuity with creating your hides.

We headed off to wpt1 and immediately recognized the transport object and it's new role in life. We then set about having a closer inspection of it and it was only the second time around the same location that we spotted the required information. We then headed of to gz where we found another transport related item not being used any more for it's original purpose. Unfortunately we also found a creek and as so often happens we were on the wrong side of it. For a change this wasn't a huge problem and once we had that rectified the GPSr led us directly to the cache hide, not that we found it straight away but we did eventually recover another of the Master's clever hides
Thanks Romax for another very enjoyable multi

Not sure about wetlands but we definately ended up with wet feet. Let the smallfry do the walking to gz with the gps whilst we took an educated guesse and drove with the heater on. Much smarter idea. Had to go back again the next day before finally finding the tricky find.
