Collection of data at WP1 was straightforward. GZ was a horrible walk as the tide was almost in and there were annoying flies/midgies trying to get in every facial orifice - yuck. Quick find at GZ and then a race back along the beach to avoid getting wet feet. TFTC
A quick solve and find with frmen1. Love the two beaches, preferring the second. frmen1 was the lucky finder (I was a metre off lol). We enjoyed the rock hopping and kept our eyes peeled for nope ropes/slither sticks. TFTC
Worked out and found with tassie expat while exploring this interesting area. Enjoyed the walk, the cache is in good condition. Thanks
What an adventure! Took me a while to find the actual cache as I got scared of creepy crawlies the first time! Went back with two guard dogs in hand and came out smiling! Very lucky to be a part of the gold club so did get to take a short cut! Not a muggle in sight! TFTC
DNF, got the coordinates easily, but struggled to find the cache may have been because I was scared of snakes. Oh well, will definitely return to try again
A 2 point multi - a luxury compared to others nearby with 7 or more points to visit. So we made our way through all the visitors at the Beach to gather the information. Mrs Harrowang was even used as a towel for a very wet dog, who wasnt happy after her swim! But we digress - We did our sums and headed off, but not before swapping our walking boots for beach sandals. We werent sure what conditions or footwear would lead us to the prize. SL at 4.27pm Left: feathers pathtag. LIke feathertop we discovered a private golf course and a golfer teeing off from a point very near GZ!!! We had to wait while he took a shot or two to get back on the fairway, as a couple of his balls went down onto the beach instead of the direction he wanted! #10,594 We were happy to dip our feet in the waves as we walked back to the GeoVehicle. TFTMULTI michaels mob
There is so much to like about this multi. Begins in one scenic area and ends in another. Perfect early evening walk and I even found a private golfcourse too.
A favourite point for the locations and the history .
Great sized container too.

Up this way again to drop off a mate to pick up his Motor-Home from Low Head.
With that done i was free to grab Caches (Mainly targeting Old Caches and those with high FP's) between here and Launceston where i "had" planned to stay tonight but the place is near on booked out so in hindsight, i found as many as i could then made a dash for home in HBA, later in the afternoon.
Got to the listed co-ords and jotted down the info then hot-footed it back to the GeoMobile due to the icy winds.
Did the number crunch back in comfort then i was off to GZ.
A pleasant walk in a lovely area to the cache which was found quickly.
Signed the log at 10:43 on Tuesday 21 March 2023.
The cache and contents are in A1 condition
Replaced the cache as found out of sight of any Muggles

Bush Track and I had a joint day out caching in the area, it was enjoyable to spend the time together. We had 25 Finds, 1 DNF, and 1 we had to leave due to a Snake!
Easy multi. Great hint at the end to make a quick find.
Nice to see where the locals swim. A kit server having a good time
Thanks, Grumbligrot for placing this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment

Found this great little multi on a morning cache run. Took way too long at GZ lol. Thanks for the fun.
YAY - Sore Point was found today - number 6 of our 2nd day if our Great Tassie 2023 Caching Adventure. A nice, simple multi that gave us a terrific view of both sides of Low Head. TFHC
Caching around this area of Tasmania today while on holidays.
An enjoyable multi that took us to a couple of interesting locations.
We loved the area near the final location, a beautiful spot on a warm summers day.
Took us a few minutes to find the container and all was good with it.
Saw a TB that had been in there for a while so we rescued it to move it on.

Day 2 of our Tasmanian Odyssey… The plan is to attend Grumbligrot’s Celebration Event in Georgetown and target some oldies before and after… that and anything else that grabs my attention or I happen to step over, in the area…
Not everyday you get the chance to chase down a 15yo multi… Some quick calculations and I had a GZ that looked good on the map… it meant only a little backtracking, but with the promise of a different view and I was off…
A short walk, at the right time of day and I arrived at GZ where I spent far to long looking for the cache…
Tftc… left Hev’s Secret to carry on…

TFTC. Cache and contents are in good condition. Found with Melody555 while walking Geo Molly. Took travel bug.
Nice easy multi that didn't require too much brain power to solve. After finding some other caches between the 2 way points we are our way to the GZ. Let's just say that thongs aren't the best footwear to be wearing if finding this cache. All was good and well with the cache and contence. Left a TB as this cache fits it goal and wishes. Thanks
I love a multi that doesn’t require a lot of thinking to solve! Quick find on my run through this part of the world today. Perfect weather. Hope to be back to visit soon.
Two beautiful beaches, one just outside the front door of our accommodation. It was a simple multi but an enjoyable one for the places it took me. TFTC
Found on my second attempt. Thank you for placing and maintaining the cache for our enjoyment.
Big trip today from camping in Bridport tocamping at Low Head. Lots of caches here ! had a good afternoon ............. this one of six. Got the waypoints for this on a little loop which bagged us four of the six. Took a little bit of careful appraisal at GZ before finding it, but it is the better course than a lot of heavy lifting. TFTC michaels mob. Container okay but getting brittle in the lid.
Last one for the evening. Collected the info at the first beach and then wandered to the second. With a few locals on the beach had to pretend I was taking photos before hunting for the cache. Eventually spotted when approached from the right angle. Log signed and returned - should have bought a TB.

Absolutely stunning areas! We had no idea what might be up here but we are very glad we made the drive to find out! Made for a great day of wandering (not to mention a few more pics to taunt family and friends back home in the throes of Winter). Thanks for drawing us here!

Tassie Trip Day 212 - It was decided to do a few caches today on the GeoCycle and this was a great area to take that bike of the rack and put it back on the road to go for a short ride out to the end of the point and back collecting what was along the way.
After making this information the first stop of the day it was time to collect the cache now making my way along the beach to the GZ it was a little time looking the wrong way then it eventually dawned on what was meant by the hint and the cache was soon retrieved and the log signed and the day was complete.
Thanks michaels mob for this great little multi.

Today was spent pottering around the Tamar valley, visiting some interesting little places and grabbing a few targeted caches along the way. The weather was fantastic after quite a bit of rain overnight. I’m glad I wasn’t in the swag!
After visiting the lighthouse, then WP1 for this cache, I took the short stroll along the beach to GZ for a reasonably quick find.
Thanks michaels mob for the cache.

Made the nice walk along the beach to find this, the rock wall has grown a bit I think if you use the hint.
Today I made a late decision that I would head to g-town to collect some caches, a bit of a hit and miss here, I found some harder D/T combos but the easier ones seemed to be not there.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

After a unsuccessful attempt at finding the nearby cache due to the number of muggles, I retrieved the information at WP1. At WP2 it was a quick find although it was very windy. TFTC
In Tassie with family doing a short trip around this lovely island. We saw some amazing scenery, wildlife and visited some beautiful places while touring around in our motorhome. I took the opportunity to stop and grab any caches when we could stop. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the trip. We had some fun and laughs along the way.
Out grabbing a few caches while hubby spent a few hours at the museum. We enjoyed the views from the lighthouse and then grabbed what was needed to make this discovery. It didn't take too much of a search before having this in hand to stamp.
Thanks michaels mob for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

It's not in the rock well anymore it is more on top of the wall covered by a few rocks near the northern end.
DNF for us today - time for the better of us. Will be back to hunt again.
Thanks for the cache michaels mob. Visiting the George Town / Low Head area with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP for a couple of days. Required info collected at WP1 before travelling to GZ.
Enjoyed visiting both stops for this cache, beautiful area! A fairly quick find at GZ, cheers!

Out and about with Lil Rafa to get caches for the Hidden Creatures series, all the way to Low Head, we found, signed and replaced the cache, completing the find. TFTC TNLN log dry, cool nights but nice days. good fun gathering info for multi and seeing all the views.
Day fourteen of our holiday in Tassie. Bettyboo3747 and I are staying at Low Head.
Time to get the deadly treadlies out, and short ride to the lighthouse before breakfast (and five caches)
A ride south collecting caches along the foreshore, then after lunch, some caches around George Town while the washing was on.
We collected the first waypoint on our way south on the deadly treadlies this morning, but we didn't grab the final until we were traveling home late this afternoon. We were met and greeted by a cat at wp1 who jumped up on the sign to be patted, very strange for a cat! It was having a bit of trouble staying on the slippery painted surface (claws no help!)
A lovely walk along the beach to wp2, and an interesting object at the final.
Thanks, Robmc.

#14436. Day 14 of our 3 week holiday in Tasmania. Robmc and I are still staying at Low Head so with dry weather forecast for a while we headed out on the bicycles to pick up a few caches around the area before going in to George Town for another caching run this afternoon (whilst our clothes were happy at the laundrette for an hour or so).
We started this one whilst on our bikes before lunch but only gathered it up as the last one of the day. We met a very handsome ginger and white cat at the start. It was well-loved but wanted pats from us. It was a little difficult reading the information with a cat relaxing on the information. Finished off with a nice walk along the beach to GZ.
Thanks michaels mob

WP1 was one busy Boxing Day spot today. Nevertheless we gathered the required information and headed off to WP2. It took us a little while looking high and low - before we finally looked in the right place. Thanks michael's mob for organising this multi-cache.
A good multi in two pleasant spots TFTC This is a lovely area and we're enjoying our second day's caching here.
We've now got less than three weeks left of our six month stay from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney we've been touring in the caravan and also visiting with our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley
We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and I for one don't want to go home!

Made our way to gz after picking up wp1. Strolled down the beach, scrambled over rocks, admired the view, searched, used the clue, searched, abandoned the clue and searched where I thought it should be and voila. Thanks michaels mob.
The information at WP1 was pretty interesting and gave us the information we needed without any trouble. Calculations made seemed to match the description, so off we went to the 'other' beach, which was calm and quiet and deserted except for an echidna toddling along the path to the beach. He burrowed in as we passed and probably now has sand in his nose, poor thing. The rock hopping proved quite a challenge for The Marble but we both made it to GZ, where we found confirmation that we were in the right spot. With uneven footing and long grass, we used the hint but misinterpreted it, causing us to search everywhere but the place where the cache was! Finally in desperation, we looked where we probably would've started and found the container very quickly in good condition. Great views from here . TFTC, michaels mob. =^.^=
Travelling around Australia and now in Tasmania!
Today we did some sightseeing around Low Head, oh and found a few caches too.
Beautiful clear sunny day, although the breeze was a bit chilly at times.

Appreciate the effort and skill that goes into building drystone walls. A rare thing of beauty.. An easy find, thanks for the experience..!!
Our second multi today. After visiting wp1 (an area we love) we found a few others before heading out to gz. It took a bit to find this but we knew we were in the correct area. Eventually I saw a bit of the cache and struggled to free it. Managed finally and got it signed and back safely but not long after 4 men came close wielding sticks making a lot of noise. I wad glad we were well out of their way by then. An enjoyable walk.TFTC

We certainly agree with the description of WP1. In fact we stopped for lunch & one of us said "this would be a good spot for a cache". "Hang on, I'll check" said the other. What do you know? So we salted the coords away for "ron" as there were others on the radar. Once we worked our way close to GZ we took a nice stroll to find the source of the cryptic name. Clever!
Worked out co ords easy. But took a little while to actually find cache. It's WELL hidden. Tftc
We worked out the coordinates for this multi yesterday and decided to hunt for WP2 today. A bit of a rough walk but an easy find. TFTC michaels mob
Another lovely day in this part of the state although a bit breezy. We wondered along the beach towards GZ and watched Surf School participants in action. At GZ we were able to watch a local cricket match in action. A lovely place for a cache. Thank you!!!!
Love puzzle caches, Great find, good trek up the beach & spotted by mum. Left Checkmate geocoin who wants to do puzzles & took T/B Labrador TFTC
A wet and windy day at Georgetown and Low Head. Nice easy find thanks. A bit of a scratch around had the cache in hand. This trip to Tasmania going anticlockwise from Devonport is our third trip and the first in our motorhome. This is another cache, there will be many more, hopefully.

I was tempted to take geo ute along beach as a shortcut from the beacon but . . . Took geo grandson to help spot the caches. This is the third of 6 on a hot afternoon. when you said a couple of metres from the end, geograndson went the correct way and spotted his third. I was way off beam and in the wrong northerly direction! TFTC

Been in the car for a while so GeoMax was getting a bit cranky. Pulled up to WP1 and decided i'd go for a wander to solve this one while GeoMax had a paddle and released his crankyness (must've caught it from GeoNat on the previous cache). After a good "stroll" I ended up in an area i've never been to before. Nice beach. A few surfers around but soon had cache in hand unnoticed. TFTC
Mr and Mrs Seek3rs are over in Tasmania on holidaying from SA ...
As the description said this was a straightforward and easy multi.
Nice picnic area around WP1 ... there seemed to be a minibus load of senior citizens enjoying the park when we were nearby.
Then the beach near GZ was pretty too ....
Didn't know there was a golf course in George Town ... although when we looked at it, it seemed to be relatively flat and treeless ...
Added Seek3rs sticker and date to the log.

Hi michaels mob
Wasn't going to do this cache as I was concentrating on traditionals in the area. However, very glad I did because both WP1 and WP2 provided excellent views. What's more, the cache was fun to do.
Walking to WP2, there was some-one taking an early morning swim and he was joined by another shortly after.
Found and logged the cache at 0829hrs.
A very good multi;

Found it at last after a bit of reassurance from a previous finder that I was looking in the right area, just not looking hard enough. Have had several visits to this site. Took World Travel Geocoin that had been there for ages. Will move it on quickly. TFTCSL
Point 1 was a nice easy find, but point 2 was a bit trickier. We left it very late to get to 2 and it was nearly dark. Found thanks to my cache assistant's persistence. Great day of caching and photography had in the George Town area.
Co-ords for WP2 were easy enough to work out, but no sign o the cache. Found a spot that fitted with the description and hint and was big enough to hold the cache. No cache to be found.
WP1 no trouble went to next location with co-ords twice now, and still can't find cache. Saw a couple of good places for a cache that size, (also the reason for its name) but found nothing. I am new at this, so will wait and see if others find it.
