On this fine day I was out with PantherX, Burge and Erebus3R83 on a caching trip around Yarra Bend.

After a short walk from the car we quickly had gz in our sights. A quick fund after the muggle had moved of the bridge. Tftc Tnln sl
Find 953 at 13:05. Today I was out with Sando33716, Burge and Erebus3R83 on a caching run around Yarra Bend. We had quite few caches on our list and some required a bit of walking to get to so we weren't sure how many we were going to find today. It turned out being a successful run as all up we logged 16 caches and only one DNF. This was cache number 12 on this run.
We initiailly approached this cache from the wrong direction and so we had to double back to get on the right track. Once we were at GZ, Burge managed to locate the cache very easily and we wasted no time signing our names. Thanks for the cache, Alansee! It's a great old bridge this one and although I've driven over it a few times, today was the first time to explore it on foot.

Must have passed this one 30 times on various bike rides over the years. Always cycled with muggles so did not stop. Today was different. Had not seen the clues, but the gps took me directly to it and a bit of backtracking (overshot) soon had it in hand. The container is showing signs of wear when the lid fell away, but otherwise great/clever spot for a cache. TFTC
The last day of August and its a stunner of a day for some caching. Today's caching run with Square_Pegs started just before sunrise and this time we headed north of the city which is an area I very rarely visit. I like this old bridge....this is what I like about caching - discovering things I would never know about.
Thanks to Alansee for hiding this cache.

Find #1132. Found @ 20:00.
I'd just grabbed a cache nearby and also been right past it on the weekend. I figured I might not be searching in the area for a while so should make an attempt.
I was trying to remain inconspicuous but the darkness meant that I was shining my torch around, and the drizzle wasn't helping matters. It didn't take long to find which was good as the rain started coming down harder as I replaced the container.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Alansee.

I had been caching back along the Boulevard and was heading towards the Eastern Freeway to go home. I knew of this cache and as I was able to grab a parking spot nearby, I decided I may as well go find it.
While there were lots of muggles racing past in their cars and trucks, there were none on my part of the bridge so I had an easy find. I signed the log and carefully return the cache...dropping it here may not be such a good idea...
Thanks Alansee for a quick and easy find.

Good hiding spot, the traffic actually didn't matter due to the clever location.
Have crossed this rattler so many times cursing the traffic, who would have thought it would hold such treasure? Found after opening my eyes. TFTC
The dilemma, once one has been insane enough to attend WWFM-X at 3am, is whether or not to return home to bed, or to take the opportunity, while awake, to pick up a few caches on the way home. I did the latter. This was the fourth I picked up. Cool hiding spot I wondered if the person walking towards me as I left the bridge was a caching coming to collect this one. Who else would be out at this time of day?! TFTC!

This cache tested my fear of expensive gear dropping from heights. It wasn't my gear but Day proved to have a strong believe in his C62s to stay put on a guard rail while logging the cache. I'm impressed.

An enjoyable day out caching with friends. I took me a little while to get use to caching in the city, apparently leaving my GPS on the bridge was a bad thing....it could vibrate off......TFTC Alansee......great spot!
Found by one half of Team Ladava on a rare day of solo caching while the better half was having a little maintenance done on her knee in the local hospital.
I was also attempting paperless caching with the new iphone work gave me, (I knew it would come in hand for something but don’t tell the Boss)
Excellent coordinates allowed me to soon have the prize in hand.
A quick look at the excellent views and off before the schoolkids arrived.

Found with KTCvic after attending the nearby event. Bounty Trackers was watching on as he had found this one previously. I had the cache in hand in no time flat. I think KTCvic was to worried that the bridge might fall down or something to have a proper look. TFTC
A knock on the door at 10.30 announced to Trent that his lift to attend the 2012 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards event had arrived. His accomplices on this warmish day was Bounty Trackers and Gonefishen07, and the goal was to grab a few caches to and from the event.
After the event we started heading home, we stopped by this cache to grab as neither Gonefishen07 or I had been here. A walk along the bridge had us at GZ, I was more worried about high I was to even have a half decent look, and alas Gonefishen07 came up with the find quickly.
Thanks for the cache.

The last cache in the Yarra Park here today, at first I thought it might be one of those situations where you don't know if you should go up or down, but the cache description (and name) made it clear which way to go. Had no problem getting to GZ, however there were some walkers and cyclists approaching so I was unable to immediately grab the cache. It was only when I had stopped to hold the rail and look over the edge, that I noticed how high I was, and the shaking and rattling due to the crossing traffic.
Soon after the muggles passed, the cache was a quick find. Thanks for a cache in an interesting spot.

Thanks for the find! It took a couple of seconds to find but was in a nice hiding spot. Thanks again:)
Found while on a bike ride to lunch with friends in Ivanhoe. Not a problem, loved the location! T4TC Alansee!

Here from Canada, doing a bit of caching on our travels...
This one is well named. There was a lot of shake rattle and rolling going on.... not from the muggles on 4 wheels but from my knees.
Thanks Alansee!

Quick stop off on the way to drjim7 and josiey's 12/12/12 12:12 event down the stream.
Quick find, plenty of 4 wheel traffic, not much 2 wheel traffic, easy grab.

Not sure why each time I have looked for this I assumed it was down at ground level. Slow learner? Maybe. Tenacious? Definitely.
Oh BTW the log is full, still.

I'm really enjoying the magnetic caches! This is in a great spot, and surprisingly safe. A new log sheet is needed however, as there is no more space for the next cachers to log there find, but nevertheless a good quick find!
After a bit of a failed baking session, we took the dogs for a walk and found a cache on the way. The actual find was easier than the searching we did! TFTC find #11 Gem^2 and Syl
With the traffic whizzing past, I felt around and quickly had the cache in hand. No passing muggles on this side though as I found a spot on the log to sign my name. Thanks to Alansee for the cache.
Nice quick find while waiting to pick up someone nearby. TFTC TNLN. Didn't have pen so couldn't sign log.
Took a little while to find this one. Shake rattle and roll it certainly did. Clever hide, different than the usual bridge caches!
Found this one today. Nice easy find to start off my quest for the nearby Earthcache and some of the surrounding caches. This was the first one of the day and it was a quick find (once I realised and believed the gps and the hint). I thought it was further on but that was just me. Nice day today so there were multiple muggles on bikes and walking and their dogs so getting and retrieving this cache was quite hard. I did it though. Signed log, took nothing and left nothing. Of note the log is getting quite full - while I could find space to write my name there is not much space left.
Thanks for the cache Alansee.

19 of 20 found today. Another cache we always drive by and never get. Not today.Nicely hidden but easily retrieved. The Chandler Bridge is now clear of caches on our map. TFTC
Finally found this one on my third visit. I've always gone to the same place but somehow looked from all the wrong angles and gave myself plenty of wrong ideas. In the end it was simple to grab and the clues matched up perfectly.
This is a long way up ! Not for the faint hearted and B2 would let me know. In the site of B2's father previous work and this task had to be completed. The bananas had more difficulties crossing the road here on a late Friday afternoon (as would be expected ) than finding this beautifully located little treasure. Some people just pick all the best locations and it is a pleasure to find this one. Thank you Alansee for the effort to locate this on probably the shortest and slowest Highway in the world.
Had quite a reasonable look for this one, but no luck, even with the hint. Will return after the next find.
After multiple laps of Kew Boulevard by bike I took a cycling muggle friend to find this one. A nice quick reward for our early Sunday morning exercise! Thanks and cheers!

I've crossed this bridge countless times on two wheels, but this could well be the first I've ever ventured onto it on foot. The walk from the car was just long and wet enough to test whether my boots were actually waterproof. They passed the test.
Within seconds of the GPS counting down to zero, the familiar container was opened, and log signed... and the cache was drier than I was when I got back to the car.
Thanks, Alansee.

Great cache! My 4 year old son's first experience - he loved it! We signed the log.
Oh great cache, We have driven over this bridge so many times and never knew there was a cache hidden here

I have driven over the Chandler Highway bridge many times but never walked and it certainly does shake, rattle and roll. Today was my 2nd attempt at this cache because the first time it was such a lovely sunny day that there was a steady stream of muggles. In fact, one person asked me if I was OK while I was looking over the edge contemplating what I was going to do. They must have thought that I was about to jump!! Came back on this rainy day and therefore hardly any muggles as I retrieved the bold hide between downpours. The bridge had quite a few large puddles. Found the cache at 4:45pm.
TNLNSL, although a couple of trackables had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks again Alansee (I've now done several of your other great hides) for the interesting experience.

Second cache find! Had a look this afternoon, but with no success. Had to look at clue and a photo, then tried again tonight and found it at about 9:30pm. Clue was spot on! Tin was within arm's reach, although depends on height of your chest. Suits searching with left hand. Great hiding spot. I ride past this spot twice a day and live very close, but never knew! Thanks Alansee.
Oh, and for those who wonder about the history of the bridge, it was built by Sir John Monash in the 1890s as part of the Outer Circle Railway. It does have a heritage listing. Its last major strenghening work was performed in the 1950s. Some of the graffiti under the bridge was done by kayakers during the last major flooding some years ago. It is only a few metres below the road level! You have to go down the steps under the bridge to see the graffiti.

Found with Spagbowlmonster and bumped into Aventura11 on our caching travels for the day. SL TNLN
Took us a while. Some muggles walking past, then one couple stopped several metres away from us, already grinning and coming towards us asking if we were lookin for sth. Cachers recognised So we searched together and were successful!Funny coincidence.TFTC!
Got to with in a few meters of GZ, looked around for a while but no lunch. Found a cool start to a climinbing wall though.
Hold on this is not 2D this is 3D. Level change.
Now that make more sense but still took ages to find. Ages. but we got there in the end.
Thanks

Took a bit of searching. Nice hide. Hint height is right but where? Busy road.
Spent quite a few minutes on the bridge looking for the cache and felt it shake and rattle. The look down could scare some but i felt safe. Glad to find, signed log, TNLN. TFTC.

So proud to have found this one after so many have logged DNF's. It is definitely there. I lliked the walk crossing the bridge and the view over the creek. TFTC!
Didn't find it, although that was my own fault, I now know the cache was actually there when I visited. Next time I come back will be my third attempt, hopefully I am better at searching by then

We have crossed this bridge many times using the four wheel section. Today was a new experience mixing it with those on two wheels. While P-P was busy on the phone H-P retrieved the cache and added our name to the log.

Found on a short caching run with trailrunning. Was stoked to be able to go for a run on a Wednesday after a sudden change of plans. This was an easy find with not much shaking, rattling and rolling involved. One thing was because of the traffic build up, so it was all smooth on the bridge. Once a couple of mugglist rode past, I found the cache, signed it and went off to continue my caching run. TFTC:)
i confronted my worse fears with this one. I HATE HEIGHTS!!!. but if my geo 4 1/2 can do it. so could i, and i did.( the bridge woobles with truck)[:x]
Late at night after a grade 1 mothers' dinner, very tired, no cache for the day. Had spent a while on a ten part multi and got up to the final stage but ran out of time. Have been saving this one close to home for this very situation. Thankfully it was in the first place I looked so I could come home and go to bed. Have been here many times but never at 11.45 at night and it was a new experience. Thanks Alansee.
Second day on a geocaching holiday in and around Melbourne. Soon had this cache located. Enjoyed the walk to cache and liked the structure. SL TFTC
