Logs
Noting the previous logs there has been a fire through here and I doubt whether anything of this cache is left. I certainly couldn't find any remnants at all.
Found on the way home from work. Log is saturated, and everthing is soaking wet, I tried to dry it as best I could. Thanks bubble & squeak
Thanks for your help, E Bunny, I'll replace it when I get back to Canberra.
After a nice little hill climb on the MTB, i followed the cachers trail straight to the hide...

Easy find - not much camo. Part of the lid was also lying in the dirt.
Took TB, left TB.

It was a very easy find. The clue really helped. Cool container and hiding spot. Nice area. Took travel slug in exchange for a TB. Thanks.
A late night winter cache. Choose this one as GZ was close to a path. With the dull torch and 10% iPhone battery headed towards GZ. Found easily as the cache lid reflected the light nicely. Discovered TB. Enjoyed the nice view on the clear night. Got back to the car with 2% battery spare. TFTC
Found this one on a nice winter Sunday's caching. Ms RedcrowX spotted this one straightaway. We released Hellboy-Geocoin to the caching universe (our first own trackable). TFTC
Found this one really easily and understood why it was called The Temple once found.

Very cute cache!!! poor t-rex05 wasn't impressed with the hill, it had been a bit of a long day for him, however he forgot all his worries when he reached GZ. TFTC!
We found the other cache nearby through the week but didn't want to head off road because it was really dark. We headed back today with geo-bro ayepeacee and even though we were really tired after a long day caching enjoyed the walk up to this one. This was an easy find and a very very cool container that was very fitting. Everything was in good condition, TNLNSL, TFTC
#300 for us!!! Found at 7.20pm by Geodad lovely walk in the bushland! Temple was nice - great architecture !TNLN SL TFTC
Handy parking and a nice walk. Even the fence has some subtle bends in it when it comes to climbing..
Find # 1750 @ 13:08 & 16th for the day.
Nice easy find after a short walk from Betchem0t cache.
TNLNSL Thanks bubble & squeak!

Another quick trip to Canberra, and with an afternoon free...should I do the Post Christmas Sales, or.... Geocaching won again! A lovely sunny day, it's so much better being outdoors enjoying it than in those sterile shopping malls.
The Temple gave me a good walk through the reserve, but stumped me as I hadn't read the description well enough and thought I was heading to a real temple! A nice walk retracing my steps, a bit of a dash through long grass, and the temple was revealed!

Found container out in the open, and empty. Signed a piece of paper, and replaced cache in the obvious spot.
Been meaning to get this one for a while now. 3rd with Pocketatomic tonight. TFTC.
Found on our Blitz of the ACT.

Found with last log owner and The Lego Crew, but was unable to sign the log as the log is more or less destroyed.
Well. I replaced the log with a new one. Can't really see what the issue was, but hey, there's a new one in place
It's good to replace the log within the temple - and leave the temple vertical!
Found With Oz_Snow and A_______

Found at night time while doing a night-time cache in the area. It was so cold I felt like lighting the burner for warmth. But I resisted. TFTC.
Never walked in this area before - geocaching's great in that I'm discovering all these bits of Canberra I normally just drive past! TFTC -just like a snow dome - without the snow! Logged from my phone using the Geocache Navigator by Trimble
I noticed the temple for the first time while riding up the hill, only bacause I was going at a snails pace. Nearly muggles by a local mountain bike rider but he was happy to continue on his way.
Found this one in the dark & cold at 5:30am on our last day in Canberra.
Not sure we took the easy way in but that's caching.

Late night find after completing another nearby mystery cache. There are two ways to get to this one - the easy way along a track from a quiet street, or fake a breakdown on a busy road, climb a steep rocky cliff and squeeze through a barbed wire fence. If you choose the latter, I suggest not doing it at night in the dark. TFTC
Last on of the morning in the area. Intended to continue on to The Owl until I reached GZ of this one. But time and a large road and cutting was against me, so a quick sign and back to the car.

Found 1245 hours during lunch break. Enjoyed the walk . . Cache in Good condition. NO TBs here. Thanks B&S for the enjoyable walk. TNLNSL
Beautiful container, made me feel very exotic and inspired! Wanted to start dancing like a jeanie but Cazbol and Frankiepup couldn't tolerate. Sang instead.
Another nice one. Had to use my jumper to lead Frank across Ginninderra drive so got a bit cold - a little unprepared due to rushed start in cazbol's hurry to find the new wood borer one in Kaleen.
Last one for the day
A nice find after a quick run across the road and back, thankfully there were some lower sections to those sides!
Enjoyed the cache container on this one as well. TFTC.

OK. THis was a funny one with P from PUDDLE GANG. First we drive past it, then a bit of cross country over the middle of the GDE to get to the other side. Then a quick run across the road, and up the rock face - yes slipping a bit. But a lot of fun was had on the way there and a quick find made it all the more better. TFTC.

After some rally driving in the cache buggy around the GDE and then some commando like charging up escarpments we found this cache easily. The run back across the road to the cache buggy was even more fun; thank goodness it was a quiet Sunday for traffic!

Lovely peaceful spot yet close to a main road. The mozzies were out in full force today though. Took: GC. Left: GC
Found this with Rick.
Doing a mountain unicycle ride around O'Connor Ridge, looking for the geocaches. Finally dropped off the geocoin i had.

Number 6 on a very hot afternoon.
I've never seen a container quite like this before. Very interesting. Once again, Injuryman made the find while I'm still ascertaining ground zero. At least he has the decency now to walk away before announcing the find, so that I have a chance to find it myself. Better than holding the cache up and waving it at me!!
Thankfully, done for the day, and we're off to Dickson pool to cool down.
Thanks for the hide!

first find for the afternoon. a nice spot for starting a walk along oconnor ridge.
A short trek to GZ and the cache was found quickly. Neat container. TFTC bubble & squeak. [314]
Nice hide, though it seems somewhat of a waste to go so far and find such a large cache and no swaps. Nice one though.
We enjoyed wander the bushland also Temple too... Took TB. SL. Thanks bubble & squeak for organising the cache and hunt.
Another lunchtime walk finding. Never really knew this place existed so once again I learn something new while caching. Left a small TB titled One Eyed Alligator. TFTC!
This is a cool cache hide.
Different to say the least.
Nice afternoon walk to GZ as well, wait for the muggle and then grabbed it.

Another cache found walking from Sustainable House. Great container, I was going to find The Owl next but realised crossing Ginnenderra Road at 6 pm wasn't a great idea, especially with two dogs in tow.
Some people travel overseas to get this experience and here it is in our own backyard. Great container too.

Never knew this place existed. (standard geocacher catch-cry) thanks for getting us up here. Have been meaning to re-visit the Aussie Temple again so thats where we are of to next.

My 2nd lunch-time cache today. Damned joggers are everywhere ! Bit of a death defying climb up off Ginniderra Drive in my work shoes. Rescued the cache pencil which I found on the ground. Nice spot, thanks for bringing me here !
Found with Thelostmatt and Diadem after doing the games one down the road. Enjoyable night. Had fun finding it first and not letting Thelostmatt know.... he he he.

Combined this with 'Fun and Games' cache. Gorgeous walk before the heavens opened. Dropped my pen so retraced my steps all the way to the car only to find the pen was 20 metres from GZ. Nevermind added to the walk which I enjoyed.
New log sheet wouldn't be a bad idea. I notice someone else pointed this out 6 months ago.

We just had to do a cache in the ACT on our way through, given that this trip we've cached in Vic, NSW, SA, Qld, back to NSW and now we can add ACT to the list. As I write we're back in NSW at Merimbula and will soon be back to home (& work - didn't win Tatts!) in Vic.
This one just happened to be near our route through town and became our token ACT cache. After dark with a headlight it was a quick log and leave job, particularly as whoever lives in the house near the temple looked a little puzzled at the dirty 4wd & off road camper parked in the temple car park after dark.
Thanks,
DJ

A straight-forward find. Took Mike. Enjoyed watching the roos, even saw a joey in a pouch! Afterwards took a leisurely drive down past all the temples.
