As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Located cache in many pieces spread across both grass and roadway. A shame as is a great spot for a cache. let the CO know the state of things

Had had a look for this one before but kept on being interrupted by muggles paying their respects. Even today I had to come back a second time hoping that the wind and rain had put everyone else off. GPS coords were a bit off but could have been the low cloud. Eventually found this in one of the logical places. Nice to get this one ticked off. Thanks again Glyn
Took two tries to get some privacy, even then had to be alert for cars suddently appearing! Spent quite some time studying the markers before managing to get hand to cache. TFTC
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
A nice easy find after waiting for a couple of people paying their respects nearby. Thanks for the cache!

After a quick survey of the area to make sure that I wasn't being watched. Then made a bee line to the the area suggested by the gps and found the cache, signed the log, and got out of there.
Hmm... with the weather, GPS was all over the place, so I had a huge area to search.
Did search the entire area though, but I still didn't find it!!

Second attempt. Ran out of time on previous visit but this time managed to find it. Not quite where I expected it to be. #450. TFTC.
After a DNF here during my last Auckland visit it was great to be able to tick this one off on this visit. Thanks Glyn.

Coords were spot on and we found it quickly enough. Muggle dog walkers ambling nearby meant we were forced to take a moment to enjoy the lovely sunset before we could replace the cache.

Finally off-loaded Alice. Not as far away from home as I would have liked to of sent her. But over the bridge non-the-less. TFTC
Took me longer than it should have to find, and then almost as long to put back since muggles were around. TFTC TNLNSL
Paid my respects Glyn!!!!! I actually opened my eyes this time and straight to it. Tftc
#1286. Found cache on ground in the open, and put back to sit in the most likely place at GZ. The owner might want to check the placement. TNLNSL. TFTC.
The GPS pointed in the mittle of the entrance - OK, has to be to the right or to the left or.....????
Was reading the previous logs - then I got the idea, short look around and bingo
Quickly sign the log and of the next cache
TNLNSL cheers

For once the muggles moved the container to a better place after doing some trimming. Thanks!
Have a feeling this one has gone missing, we found it here in December but it has certain gone from its original location and we checked all the other suitable spots.

Found after quite a long search and nearly giving up. GPS was unsteady and only settled down just before find. SL TFTC PS Glyn cannot email you reply to your email. My email will not send without restart and don't want to have to reload the over 200 pages I have open. Will come along if still in Auckland. May go south earlier as my health is not so good. Regards
The GPS took a long time to settle. And once it did we were almost ready to give up when we spotted the cache. It's a decent sized container, so shouldn't really be a difficult find. Maybe it is hard to spot as the placement is a little unexpected. TFTC.

This one had two of us stumped. The gpsr was very set in its indicated GZ - and it should have been an easy find. Indeed there seemed to be a few good candidate places which were thoroughly searched - but to no avail.
Needing some RnR (unstiffening of muscles) after yesturdays caching raid into the Battle of the Bridge war zone, decided to wander (puff n pant) up the hill and find this cache (in it's relocated possition) in remeberance of fallen troops. Left behind plundered war trophy (TB Kiwi revisited)
Our first paperless cache, with the help of my assistant and Palm we located the cache with no problems. Had to wait for a group of muggles to leave (one with a large shovel...) so took shelter from wind and light rain. Took compass left a plastic yoyo. TFTC!
Surprisingly serene location for a cache so near two main roads. Found during daylight after failed twilight attempt. Took a smurf and placed a compass in. Great to have so many caches in my area from such an avid Geocacher! TFTC!
No worries here, supposed to be grocery shopping but couldn't resist another find.
Finally thought we had a nice easy one so left the car running. Of course it was not to be. Turned the car off and then found it straight away on the other side of the driveway!

found a new hide, close to the original place, just need to get back there & plant.
I have the cache at home, need to rethink this one as Mum has now joined Dad as sadly her caching times are over (wonder if they have an uprgaded version in heaven--finda planet instead of cache?)
Will replace in a new hide---Thanks, Glyn.

Have removed the cache, its way too exposed after its host had been pruned back! Council worker *Hixi* left a nice note saying it had been found while pruning.
Will re-locate.
Footnote--Mum is now with Dad, might have to re-think the whole cache now--Glyn.

GPSr had us a little way of GZ, but 10yr old son found when he wondered off bored with what we we doing. A Council worker had found the cache and left a log also. TNLNSL TFTC
Found easily enough, however two cars of muggles pulled up and parked, preventing me from returning it. Took a nice stroll (20mins) hoping they would move on and had a good look around. Alas not. Went off to do another one and returned it to its correct resting place an hour later. Hope no-one else was trying to find it! Sorry if they were. Its all in place now. Another quality cache from the only one.
Idyllic in the summer evening sun.
Grabbed travel slug to move on.

found with yo-mum, before i had my own handle. thanks for playing a part in getting me into caching =)
Out for a fun day of caching in the area. Very quiet here . . . muggles must all be at rest. TNLN.
Good setting. Good of you to honour both dad & mum in your caching hides. Thanks.
Off for a bit of afternoon caching with Indiana Jill and Seattle's Best. Thanks for bringing us to this place. Left - Taz. TN. TFTC!
Nice peacefull spot. Had a walk around while I was there. Didn't realise how big this was in spite of driving past every day
