Sorry late to log it as I was travelling to North from Nelson Bay.
The cache was still there.

Travelling between Port Stephens and Coomba Park on the next leg of our trip. Bettyboo and I collected a few caches before it started raining.
My pocket Queries were a bit out of date, so I still had this cache in the GPSr. We stopped and checked it out. With its new container and log, it is still a going concern.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 4457. Robmc and I left Shoal Bay this morning and are on our way to Coombah Park. We are finding just a few caches along the way. Rob had this one in his GPS so we stopped for a look. A kind cacher has recently replaced the container and put a new sheet inside. We signed and continued on our journey.
Nice easy find.
Found with ThaFlava.
TFTC.
Original log a bit wet, but it had another log which was dry!

Found today on our way North. This cache is a mess. The container was never waterproof, the log book is soaked. I was glad for the temp log sheet and I did enjoy the camo. Found with Jamie2750. SL TFTC.
Found at 0950. A quick find on a way back to QLD. Must of loaded the cache before it was disabled. The log book was soaked but a previous cacher had placed sheet of paper to serve as a temp L/B.
Glad I got to it before it gets archived.

Just wants some severe maintenance as container is broken beyond repair and ants and mould have infested the log book and cache is laying in a chip packet to help keep it dry
As per previous log the container is history. As we didn't have a container suitable for this one we improvised to keep it dryer than it otherwise might be if it rains.
CO has been out of the game almost 2 years so I don't see this situation is going to change any time soon. Anyway, thanks outdoorbloke

Find #582. A quick find, SL. Thanks for the cache here outdoorbloke and thankyou too to the cacher who placed a clean sheet in a zip lock to allow others to find and log the cache. I must carry a couple of empty containers to help out when containers are broken like this one.
Great quick cache on the way up to Harrington! This cache needs maintenance, still has a broken container and saturated contents, luckily a previous cacher put a new log in a bag. Cheers! [:o)]
Love love love a cache at a rest stop. Thanks to a previous cacher who put a temporary log as the container is quite broken
We were on our way to a Rural Fire Service conference at Wauchope when we found this cache. It was in a very poor state, damaged beyond repair. It needs a complete replacement as the box was smashed and the log was saturated. TFTC, outdoorbloke.
Another rain damaged cache. In need of maintenance. No trackable either.... Do trackables dissolve in rain?? Lol!

Thanks to Traveller 42 we were able to log our visit. Cache is in dire need of replacement. TFTC
Cache is mess, left a new ziplock bag with a small sheet of paper to act as a temporary log.
Driving back from heatherbrae and decided to take a look with mum. Lots of rubbish. Cache very wet. Needs new notepad. Great spot
On our way north we stopped here for the cache.
The logbook is in a very bad condition.
Thx for the cache

Heading north to attend pprass's Mid North Coast camping event we were grabbing a few of the local caches along the way. We pulled into this busy area but a truck was blocking the view so we headed off to gz totally out of sight but unfortuantely the container has been destroyed and everything is water logged. As we had no containers with us as we have used up our spares by replacing quite a few along the way so all we could do was put it in a zip lock bag
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
We had been down in Sydney for a family conference and were heading back overnight (so we could get some relief from the "Are we there yet" question) and stopped for a necessary break if you get my meaning.
Caching hadn't been on the top of my list for this trip but with a few minutes to spare I thought I would check the area and was rewarded by a cache not 30 metres away!!
Then I checked for Munzees and had another surprise in what seemed like the same location.
With torch in hand I headed across the road and into the bush and quickly found my prize.
Unfortunately the cache was in a very sorry state and the TB was missing and the Munzee nowhere to be seen. I will put a needs maintenance log on it with explanation.
Thanks Outdoorbloke TFTC TNLN attempted to sign log.

The container is broken beyond repair, the contents are saturated including the log book which was impossible to write on and the Munzee has disappeared (I think).
Sorry I didn't have anything with me to replace the bits!

Noikmeister, TankEngine and myself came up from Canberra to do the MNCW Mid-North Coast Wander series, and several extra bonus finds on the way, around the series areas and on the way home. Thanks.
Were off on out long weekend caching trip to the mid North coast from Canberra - and this was our first stop...
Alas - cache is broken, and super soaked - really neads maintenance!

The Booo's head north for a family holiday and stopped to grab a few caches on our way.
A cache in serious need of some TLC. The cache container has been broken and someone has wrapped it in a shopping bag. Contents are still surprisingly dry. No TB is in the cache though.

This cache has definately seen better days. Quick find while taking a quick stop. Thanks
Found it with ease, and the mosquitoes found us! However, needs maintenance: container is badly broken, and has been wrapped in a plastic bag by a previous kind cacher. tftc.
Not a hard find, but oh boy - the mossies! Sadly, cache container is broken, and someone has put it into a plastic bag to preserve it a bit. TNLN, TFTC. What a pity there is so much garbage strewn around, in a rest area which has bins. If I go back, I'll do some "trash out" which I wasn't prepared for today.
Left a TravelBug Hopefully someone can get it to Ireland quicker than we could!
Found on our way North tonight. Thanks for the cache. Container a little worse for wear but still there.
Thanks go to geobub for insisting that we stop to grab this cache on our trip north.
On the way from Cessnock to Taree on a holiday with the family. This is the first cache found in 2013 that someone else has found before me.
Found while wifey put contacts in...container is smashed but whole thing is wrapped in plastic bag. Hav tried to conceal as best possible but it looks much like discarded rubbish, and needs a new container. Tftc, tnlnsl.
We found this cache container in pieces, all over the ground. We placed all of the pieces, contents & log book in a plastic bag and tucked it up under the nearby log (lying on the ground). Will need a new container and snap lock bag for the log book. Please contact us if you need to ([email protected]). Sorry for the bad news! (See attached photo)
Found this on the way to Queensland. Tons of spiders at 11pm. Container is damaged on one side, but log is still surprisingly dry! TFTC.
A nice easy find on a quick trip down this way.

Bedawn suggested we stop at the rock for breakfast, but bikerbuddy and I weren't exactly sure where that was on the highway, so we were navigating to this cache instead.
I'd started looking for the exit to the rest stop when suddenly I realised we were at the rock & turned to the right instead of the left.
After a slight delay we were back on the highway & turning off almost immediately to get this cache.
Thanks

We were on our way north to the Mid North Coast Event. We'd just been to the Rock, trying to get something for breakfast and did this cache as we pulled back onto the highway. It was an easy find. The cache needs maintenance as the lid has been cracked and broken on one side.
Found on the way north to do the mid north coast wander with toriaz and bikerbuddy. lid broken but log dry, tftc.
5030 + 572 = 5602. Found on the way up to Taree today.
Sol de Lune and I are heading up to Taree to do the Mid North Coast Wander. We managed to grab a couple of caches on the drive up. This was the third. Despite a few muggles around we made a quick find. Grabbed the TB to move it on. Thanks outdoorbloke !
