Had already loaded this into GPS so was surprised to not see it on my phone, when I tried to log it. It is still here, not affected by the rubbish. Pity it has been disabled, as its in good condition.Lovely spot.
Found an object that matched the hint but was absolutely stuffed to the top with rubbish (cans, rosies chicken boxes etc)
Yet another day trip, this time we are heading up to explore Evans Heads and surrounds. Great day and lots of interesting geological features visited.
After checking out the Green Pool it made sense to head over to the Blue Pool. Yet another cool spot, shame about all the rubbish in the area. Snapped a few pics then did a bit of CITO on the way back to the car.

Our road trip continues and today we are heading north towards the coastal areas of Woodburn and Broadwater. Only a few more days before the madness of Christmas begins. Luckily we will have a few more days of camping out first. We got a nice spot on a property away from the highway and with no one else around.
Today I headed off to grab a few around Broadwater and then into Evans head. I looked at this one and thought it looks easy enough. I drove up to find the weekend sport here is on the 4wd tracks. Some fun testing tracks here but I was here for a cache.
I signed the log and returned all as found and then continued on my way. Thank you for placing this one here, all good.

Easy to find, needs a refurbishment though as it has all rusted and the book it gone.
The pool was definitely not blue on the day of our visit, we wondered if that was from the incredible rains and floods that have recently been experienced around this area.
Just after we arrived, a little car bounced its way in, trying hard to miss the many potholes that were along the road. We were surprised when a lady and her four teenage grandchildren emerged. Not sure how they all fitted, lol. She told them about when she used to live in the area. One of the stories was about how the quarry had filled. It was believed that someone had pierced one of the drainage pipe/hoses before leaving for the night and when they returned the following morning, all the equipment was under water. It was thought that the cost of draining the quarry and having to replace the what would now be ruined machinery, would not be worth it so it is now a swimming hole.
Thank you for the cache and bringing us out here.

It was a shame that this wasn't a lovely blue as it would have been stunning. A grandmother and her grandchildren arrived just after us and she had many stories of when she used to live in the area. She said that what they were mining was used towards the war effort although she wasn't sure what or how as she also thought they mined shale. She did say that there had been an airforce base near here at Evans Head.
Thank you for placing this cache and maintaining it for so long for us all to find.

Found it in the sprinkling rain! Nice easy find and beautiful secret pond with rope swing! No log and lid needs a bit of an update.
#30 cache for us newbies! Cache needs maintenance. Container is completely ruined. There are odd bits and pieces there but didn’t see the trackable that is registered here. No log either. Pretty little spot. Lots of mozzies tho so pack the repellent!
Found but could not logged, it needs maintenance, container is gone but some swag and laminated TFTC were left in the stump. High muggle destination
Nice easy find. Good hint. The container is missing but all the keepsakes are still in place. Nice surrounds.
Found while on a geocaching holiday with tmann421.
Enjoyed the trip around and all the great hides.
Stamped TM/WW NZ, or if in pen our full names

Treadly action again this afternoon. Continued on from the Evans beach caches thinking we can grab a couple over this way. Nice easy ride (apart from the pot holey road to the ready mix plant), and a nicely placed convenient hide for this interesting honey pot. Gotta say the Blue Pool was not too blue, and I'm damned if I'd swim in it ! TFTC
Ooops found this one with my nephew Boonchie on 29/12 but I forgot to log it, probably because I was giggling too much at his reaction at finding a condom in the cache! I nearly went after it again today and then thought ‘hang on I remember getting this one’
Quick drive to (not so) Blue Pools today. Geodude (8) found this one with ease. Found, signed & swapped (lot saturated needs drying or renewing) TFTC
Thanks for placing this cache here in this amazing blue pool couldn't help but think how it was formed a great day doing a few geocaches around evanshead whilst here on holidays from Bendigo in Victoria tftc

Apart from the log being saturated this cache is in what could be agreed to be a beautiful location. We think it should be called Moonscape Lake due to the area's white, olive and grey surrounds. Thanks for bringing us here and tftc
Gotta love summer, warm days and spare time to enjoy it, today KTB and I headed to Evans head to play tourist.
This was the first stop (if you don't count a lamb mint and rosemary pie at Woodburns world famous pie shop) where we very quickly came to GZ despite the bumps. Quite a nice looking swimming hole but we had our sights set on the beach, so out came the GPS to get us to the cache. Found in a logical spot, the cache is a little bit moist inside with a wet logbook.
Thanks to the Townsend's for bringing us here as part of our days discoveries and for the cache. Cheers!

Found with youngnils. An interesting place to visit, but not very blue. Log was soggy. Thanks
Pool not so blue today but fairly easy find in a pretty place with BillGosse. TFTC.

Staying for a couple of days catching up with muggle friends & finding a couple of caches as well.
Great ocean scenery from many locations.
The last local cache for the day, the road is full of wet pot holes after the morning rain. Cache was quickly found & we continued on to look at the Blue Pool.

Pretty little spot! My Mum, cousin and 90 yr old (birthday girl) grandma came along today! Good fun!
We are on holyday from the Netherlands and traveling from Brisbane to Sydney. 5 years ago we were here also. This cache has been found easily at 12:20.

We found this one easily after driving the Subaru up to the top and having a wander along. It is green at the moment and the locals are making use of it on this warm day. The geocache is in great condition and full of swaps! I added a pathtag.
Whilst visiting The X-Trailers on the gold coast, we headed Sth for a few days caching.
The Merc1 joined us on our adventure.
A quick find and a great day and the rain held off.

This looked like an interesting cache on our way back to Woodburn with a short walk thrown in, but we parked quite close to GZ with an easy drive there in the GeoMazda. After collecting the cache, we spent quite some time at the pool and interesting rocks around it. I guess Boral must have spent some time here digging up blue metal, but the pool was actually quite green today. Thanks to The Townsends for bringing us to this interesting place.
What a beautiful location! Wish we knew about it and planned better! It was empty today so it would have been amazing to swim! Nice easy find in our way home from Easter at Yamba.
Found on the third visit with gjgl after local muggles prevented us from looking properly on the first two attempts. As luck would have it this allowed us to find the spiffy new cache refurbished just yesterday. TNLN though as forgot to bring a trade! TFTC.
