This one has been on the boil for a long time... I collected the first clue near my inlaws' sometime in early 2013, then worked my way progressively north. But it was only around Easter this year that I finally got to the final waypoint... then discovered that I'd lost the photo of the first two clues.
A few days ago, I manage to rectify the situation and collate all the answers to calculate GZ... and the container has gone walkabout. Oh well...
Logged with the kind permission of the cache owner; I have the honour of being the last cacher to gain a smiley from this commemorative multi. Thanks, feathertop.

Traveled a third of the way across the state for this one, but it like like the cache has gone AWOL. Searched for a good half an hour while my dinner got cold in the car using my phone and a torch to look in all directions.
2nd visit to GZ and in daylight. Mr Felix even took some photo's hoping to locate the cache where he couldn't 'see'
Searched the area, but sadly a DNF for us here today. [8)]

So many things to do and so little time to do it. Our day disappeared and it was dark o'clock before we knew it.
Mr Felix headed out bravely in the rain to try and find a cache to keep our geostreak alive!
Sadly this wasn't to help us today. We collected the info a few days ago and crunched the details at home. But in the fading light GZ seemed to match the hint but he was unable to locate the cache tonight.

This is an interesting cache that takes you on a trip of a few towns of the Macedon Ranges area. I picked up the clues from Gisborne a week ago and today I had time to pop into Macedon and Woodend.
After working out the GZ location I was able to visit it and sign the log even though it can be a high muggle area at the best of times.
Thanks feathertop for the nice tour of the area.

Happy Straya Day my fellow cachers.
I had the day to myself and what better to do than go road tripping around the lovely state I live in and see some places/sights I had not yet seen, while finding caches. Adventure time =D
Thanks for bringing me here [and there] to claim a smiley.
This was the 2nd discovery of the day.
My main mission was to grab this one, having been so long between anyone had got into this Community Spirit! I thought Australia day was a perfect time.
WP1- I felt like I was there for a million years, it took me ages to find the brick I needed, eventually when my arms were full of goosebumps from the cold and my hair was all over the place because of the horrific wind, I got the numbers I needed. But a lovely idea. Not the best idea was to travel here from Geelong without a jacket.... I fixed that later.
WP2- Was nice and easy.
WP3- Was lovely. Said g'day to a walking muggle.
GZ- SO SCENIC and beautiful. Took a few photos. So happy to find the unloved container, all spider webby and dirty.
Took- pebble.
Left- wooden Geonickel.
Could do with a new log book.
I enjoyed the tour you gave me.
Cheers & T.F.T.C =]

What a great little drive around the Macedon Ranges! Never been down a lot of these roads before. Weren't really sure where we were half the time as our basic GPS doesn't have maps! When we finally reached the cache there was no log in it. We left some paper. Thanks!
I have always wanted to return to my hometown of Gisborne, to do a day of caching with a sense of nostalgia and purpose. I love this place and think about it often, and today with sun shining and a day off work, I made the trip up from Geelong. Unfortunately as time goes on, not only do people change, but places do to! A Macca's, overgrown weeded waterhole, how things have changed over the past 10 years!
Began this cache, but when saw WP2 was 5k away put it aside for another time. Saw many, many familiar names on the bricks. Look forward to finishing it one day.

Found while in the company of Geogetters. We know the container is waterproof as it went for a swim. Quickly retrieved, log signed and replaced before we lost it again. Thanks for the cache feathertop

Found with Crazy Creels, our last find for the day. We found out how waterproof the container was when it rolled into the creek, and I had to run to the car to get a tool to fish it out again! TFTC
With a day in the area, it was a good opp to do this multi over the distance required. Got all the details needed and made my way to GZ where the find was eventually made. Ended up taking photos to 'see' the cache's position. Thanks for the history lesson Feathertop, and the tour of the area.
Are we the longest lived locals who have never finished this cache? At various times we have collected most of the information - very little was easily obtained on the internet so i had to do it old school today. After shooting down to collect Traffic Control 3 I had all afternoon to finish this and was determined to do it while the rest of the family were not with me to complain. Coords had me on the wrong side for a while - or maybe it just looked easier to search there. But find it I did - finally!! Nice theme Owen TFTC
Our first cache, easy except got caught on the last step, but eventually found. Hooked on our way to our second!
This cache was found during a Monday night cache run with Blacklegend, Trailrunning and Rebel Acts (TDC) as well as Poynts95 who came down with BL. for the nights run. Plenty of kilometres travelled during the run, with us starting early afternoon around Rebels home turf and finishing in the wee hours of the morning in Heathcote. A great variety of caches found with some really nice hides. Many thanks to the cache owners for placing the caches we found.
Found on a caching run with the TDC..... I was lucky enough to be able to cache with my local caching mate, Blacklegend, and the rest of The Demolition Crew on this occasion. I had a great night, lots of good conversation and great to again catch up with the TDC. My thanks to all the cache owners for their hides on the night. I don't think I can say a lot more than the others already have about the finds on the night. There were some fantastic hides amongst the caches, and some fav points will be given.

Found out and about on another TDC caching night. A fantastic run that took us far and wide, with the usual crew and with Poynts95 as well. Good conversation and laughs as always, and great to be out and about again finding....

Every week I look forward to exploring new areas with The Demolition Crew, and this Monday nights run brought us from Eric's place in Kilsyth through to Gisborne, Macedon and finally Heathcote. A long night of caching these areas, with a few nice walks and a few drivebys as well. Many thanks to the CO's for their efforts in placing and maintaining their caches. Unfortunately we were only able to replace one of the two scheduled cache replacements as we ran out of time.

Began this multi hunt a few weeks ago, and was able to finish it off easily while in Macedon and Woodend. Well the final hide was a bit tough, I needed the hint to find it, and there was also the ever present threat of muggles overhead.
Found @ 13:10hrs.
Thought I would have a quick search for this multy before continuing with The Birthday Series but I was wrong, there is nothing quick about this one. A great cache which had me all over the place, with my car navigator taking me to wrong sides of creeks etc. and a difficult grab in the end.Thank you feathertop for this very interesting cache which I did enjoy.A favourite of mine.

Started some time ago, re-did it aa few weeks back. Partner in tow wasn't keen to continue. Today I decided I would go for it. Wasn't too sure where I was heading but on arrival at waypoints my confidence grew. When I arrived at GZ I think circcumnavigated hoping that my co-ords were wrong.
Finally I took the plunge and held on for grim life and was happy to say located this cache. I must admit I did use the clue to help me.
The cache waypoints reflect their name and provides a great way to remember the way people pull together when necessary.

I had done half of the clues for this one ages ago, but given the distance involved it's taken me a while to finish it.
I was about to give up at the final hurdle before I double checked the clue. I wasn't keen on the amount of creepy crawlies that were at GZ but I took a breath and just did it. I was so glad that my fingers closed around a cache and not a spider!!
I would have been really annoyed had I not been able to find the final prize. Luck was with me though thank goodness!!

Well we weren't successful at the final location, but we will be back! Great first experience geocaching
This cache formed a pat of my weekend away. We came up Kyneton for the Saturday / Sunday to watch some racing at the Kyneton car club. There was lots of time in between to do some caching. I enjoy a good multi and this one was one. It took a bit longer than expected to complete but that's good. TFTC
Over 12 months ago, I did a little day trip on this way and collected all the clues for this cache, unfortunately it turned out the cache had been washed away in a flood and I wasn't able to make the find. Today, I had given myself the day off work to to commemorate this once every 4 years opportunity to go caching. I was able to go straight to the final location, but even then it took me quite a while to make the find. I was beginning to feel jinxed! After checking the clue, and clearing out a lot of cobwebs, I was able to finally make the find! Thanks for the cache feathertop and for the two trips to this lovely area.
P.S. I think I signed with the wrong year and I really loved the near by very old bridge.

This was a great challenge for us geogeriatrics! Took us to multi WPs in the Macedon Ranges. Enjoyed the walking except for the rain!! Plenty of wild flowers to see. TFTC feathertop
What an adventure. Water was very high at GZ and cache was retrieved by 6 year old but he wouldn't put it back so drjim7 had to. Tricky.
Not sure how I wound up here but it was a delightful trip. Final approach to GZ was a little more difficult after recent heavy rain but the container was high and dry.
The cache was replaced today as the water well and truly was above the hiding place.
Now it's a 400ml sistema

I think I can safely say today was not a caching success day. I really wanted to find this cache, as I have a TB that I would like to put here, unfortunately, I think the cache may have gone! I had no trouble finding all the info I needed, but couldn't put my hands on the cache. I does look like there was some very high water in the area I suspect it was, and I think it might have left with that water.
Started this one the day before yesterday and, surprise surprise, it finished up near our chosen spot for lunch today. We had to retrieve the cache and write in the log book quickly as muggles were around. TNLN. Thanks for the cache and history lesson.
Checked GZ this morning and the cache is still there. Made it a fraction easier to retrieve for the next finder whoever that may be.
I've been completing this cache over the last few weeks. Conveniently I have sport once a week at Tony Clarke Reserve and I have a catch up with friends every Friday at Woodend, making getting the required info quite easy.
I've searched for the cache several times but with no luck. I'll give it another try next week, but the clue and previous logs make it fairly obvious where the cache is when you reach GZ, and it is no where to be seen. I suspect it's been muggled as it hasn't been found in 10 months.

We had started some of this earlier and this time it was just the perfect time to finish it. That is very cold and blowing a gale. Perfect anti-muggle time. At GZ the river was quite high and so had to be carefull I did not slip in, but we got there in the end.
TNLN Thanks feathertop for the cache.
PS Today we had our usual picnic lunch in this town in a little shelter near the tennis club. We have named this picnic, "Windblown at Woodend" because I do not think we have picnicked in a colder place. It was absolutely freezing here today.

I had heard of a cache that started in one town and finished away in another and now I have finally found it.
Enjoyed the adventure, just wished I had known where it was going to finish. Luckily close to home.

Made several laps of the roundabout for Wpt 1 and crossed a creek for Wpt 3 - maybe unnecessary but we got there! Liked some of the houses visible along the way. TNLN
I started this one back in January with Cdmark and Team GraMon. We ran out of daylight back then but while in the area today I was able to put the final pieces in place. The coords for all locations were spot on which made for an easier experience, especially for that first waypoint!

We collected wpt1 info yesterday and then visited the next two wpts this morning. We were in Upper Beaconsfield during Ash Wednesday and witnessed some very unselfish gestures by nearly all the residents of this and near by villages and never tire of seeing memorials for the good that has come out of it. After calculating gz we did another cache before heading here. We used the nearby picnic facilities to make our lunch whilst admiring the grand old structure near by. Finished our lunch and then collected the cache after a short search.

I managed to do this one over two different days. Like others I had fun getting to wp3 but did the job and then found the cache without any problems in a good hide (of course). This was the sixth Feathertop cache I did today and enjoyed them all, thanks.

We found our 8th Feathertop cache at 5:45pm as the 18th of 24 on our Sunbury and Beyond Tour III. We had not intended heading this far up today but once we had the second set of co-ords we kept going. After the 3rd deadend in trying to get that last 200m to WP3 we decided to take a leap of faith. Would love to see this one as three individual caches. Thanks for the cache from D & H B-A.
Found at 12.40pm GAFF1. Enjoyed the tour of the area. We met a group of volunteers tree planting and working the area - very friendly. Thanks feathertop tn/ln
Found by a very wet Team Ladava 5.20 pm (Hope we didn't leave the cache to moist)
Well, we started this one in very pleasant weather. By the time we had finally reached gz after some unnecessary circumnavigation of half Victoria and I didn’t know there were so many no through roads in Woodend, it was pouring rain but nothing was going to stop us by this time. We are nothing if not persistent (pig headed).
Took 2 Mondos (We are collecting them for our Queensland trip)
Left Schrek Three Blind Mice and ?

#18 of 33 finds in company with acts2youthgroup on our regular fortnightly cache assault. This time we assaulted places to the west of Melbourne. We found this one at 1525. This is a looooooong multi--not for walking! We actually started this one at around 1000, but when we found that the second waypoint was not close to the advertised coordinates, and was taking us away from other caches on the list, we put it aside for later. We worked our way through the waypoints, picking up 'bonus' caches along the way that had not been on our original list, until we finally arrived at GZ for an easy find. I enjoyed the way that the WPs of this cache matched the theme of the cache name; so much better than the "multi for the sake of a multi" caches that have you counting fence posts and rivets in park benches! I made no exchange. Thanks to feathertop for the cache. Cheers, dak.
Fourteenth of Twenty-Two finds for the day in company with dak’s Emu Mob on one of our regular caching days, the cache was found at 15:25. We started the cache earlier in the day and managed to pick up three other caches on the way to the final that we had not planned to do, we almost need a fuel rebate on this one. With all the clues in hand we finally made it to GZ for the find. Thanks feathertop for the cache and showing us the different locations.

Found this one with caughtatwork on our jaunt around the Macedon Ranges. The GPS was pointing us in 1 direction while the clue was pointing in the other. After a quick tramp along the riverbank, a 2nd look in the most obvious location soon revealed the cache. Thanks for bringing me here!

Wow! I wasn't expecting anything this long in a multi cache.
Collected the clues at each of the waypoints and in danger of running out of petrol a while later, we came across the cache. Wheeeeeee!
It was a struggle finding the cache as both GPSrs were pointing to the wrong end and then the first time I checked the correct area I didn't check close enough. Doh!
Eventually came up with the cache after nearly slipping into the drink.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks feathertop for an interesting, albeit slightly longer than anticipated, tour.

Found the brick very easily, as co-ords put me right on it!
Eventually found this one, but had to wait a while for the school muggles to go home at 1545.
Had a good drive through the surrounding district, and had to dodge the rain now and again.
Nice locations, but would be better during warmer months.

3rd find for the day, at 1:36pm accompanied by Wheelchair Access as navigator and scribe. A nice tour of a few picturesque country towns. Thanx Feathertop...
Found by Mary & David at 1120. A very enjoyable cache that honours volunteers of so many different areas that are the lifeblood of country towns. A bit hazardous at GZ after the rain with slippery mud, fallen acorns, and water waiting to punish a false step. Found on the second careful pass. This was a very interesting multi, which we commenced from the end it was intended, and enjoyed the spirit of the tour.
We left a Mondo Figurine for the cache and took a Clown Figure as a memento.
Thanks feathertop.
From Romax.
A quick dash around the community (feathertop homeground?), visiting places I hadn't seen before.
What Son of Chewin' forgot to mention was that they had replaced the gearbox the night before.
We ended up at the wrong end, but the clue sent us straight.
Thanks, Robmc.

I'll claim FTF on this one too Found with Dad and Robmc in one car and Myself and Mum in the old Kingswood so the race was on! I think I gave Mum a fright a couple of times and we were hindered by a gearbox that kept jamming in second. We still managed to lead most of the way though and all got to GZ at the same time. Very interesting cache travelling through a beautiful area. Thanks very much for the cache.
Found it and FTF too, and still a day later, no logs. Where have all the geocachers gone? Picked this up on our way to Bendigo to try to clean up the area and failed miserably on that quest I must say!
Anyway this was a slightly longer than expected multi but a very enjoyable and interesting one nevertheless. Many thanks Feathertop.
