After a long day caching, including climbing Mount Cooroora, Shazzar66 and I were starting to make our way southwards. This cache was on my agenda primarily because it was the last of my Bones caches to log before I could log Mother Bones, which I had found previously with a group of cachers. Secondly, its an Oldie, which Im collecting. Today has seen lots of 2007 caches found.Approaching GZ, we started looking for the cache, looking in many spots we thought a cache may be. Our iPhones were telling us different things, and in different directions, changing all the time. Then I checked the hint which narrowed things down, but I still couldnt find the cache. Finally, I read the last log, which was extremely helpful. The cache was, indeed found in what may have once resembled the hint, however GZ has seen better days. All was found in good condition, the logbook being signed, ShaDup, our team name. The final set of coordinates collected, I can now legitimately claim the find of Mother Bones. Thanks for the series and the final cache, cooroy scouts, & thanks SSS_spinna76 for keeping it alive for us all to enjoy.
Looking for a full day of caching, I packed my car and headed up the coast to camp at Duppers place so we could make an early start. We found somewhere safe to park and made our way to the cache. Happy with a quick find here by Duppers as I was walking around in circles for a little bit.I found your cache, ROMAN BONES today. Signed as ShaDup.SSS__Spinna76, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Out for a day of caching, first hunting for some old bones around Cooroy, before tackling Oaky Creek Lookout. This was my first of two finds today. Pulled up at the NP entrance before strolling the last 100m to GZ, where after a short search I found the cache in the degraded hidey hole. Great to find this one as I need it for Mother Bones, which I need for a challenge. Thanks cooroy scouts/SSS_Spinna76!
Early morning start on day 3 of this caching trip away. Spent the night just outside of Gympie after finishing another leg in the challenge that Im currently working on. This morning I have a bit of time left to work on the next leg.I am rive at ground zero, find a safe way lace to park and then make my way to ground zero. I quickly find the cache, extract the log and make my mark.I return the cache to the hiding spot and then back to the van and off to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Davinells had a plan it involved a dirty weekend in and around Nambour, Eumundi, Cooroy, Pomona and Imbil Concentrating on the off-road vehicle attribute means were in Miranda going places only Miranda can We only had to refer to the owners manual once during a huge day of caching thats a success Im sure theres a carwash in NambourDavinells has been banging on about the EVIL caches forever, so its good to be finally here This was our parking spot for the final EVILWe found the container further into the scrub than what Geepers originally indicatedThanks SSS__Spinna76 Clue noted
November is the month for off-road caches so Peppa and I have come to the northern Sunshine Coast area for some 4-wheel-driving fun. With the prediction of lots of rain in the lead up to today, Miranda was packed with all kinds of recovery gear, most of it still in its original packaging. The evil series has been on my to-do list for a few years so I was very happy to be finally here. This oldie was nearby so we couldnt leave it. We pulled up right near GZ but we wandered around a bit before Peppa located the hide. Tftc SSS__Spinna76Find #4768
We were hunting a way into EVIL FIVE, and given this was an oldie, we called past this cache for a reasonably quick find. Interestingly, [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) had previously found this cache whilst exactly attempting the same objective (and never found a way in during that trip). The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and the clue for [MOTHER BONES ON EERWAH](https://coord.info/GC12GPE) was noted accordingly. Thanks cooroy scouts for the cache placement, and SSS__Spinna76 for its ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 04/2007 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 1000 oldest yet active geocaches.----------During this trip, I travelled with [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) (who was visiting from Adelaide, SA) and we visited Maryborough for an extended weekend.Friday was the drive north, which involved the full day with stops in Nambour, Eumundi, Pomona, Gympie, Tiaro, and Maryborough, and highlights included the *Evil* series and the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series. The weekend's two days prioritised the *Jolly Brolly Folly* (JBF) series and *Geocaching 101* series, with a Sunday afternoon trip to Utopia Falls. Finally, Monday's itinerary included a few last geocaches that were in town, and we then returned home via Beaver Rock, Maaroom, and Tin Can Bay.A fun and rewarding trip with great company and friends, and we were rewarded with good weather throughout our trip.Today, [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) and I commenced the drive north with a few [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) targeted D-T geocaches in the Sunshine Hinterland, so we stopped in Woombye and Nambour, before continuing our trip north. I had a targeted Eumundi geocache to find (as it was a non-market day today), and we then spent a couple of hours visiting the *Evil* series nearby to Pomona. After having a bakery lunch in Gympie, we continued north and stopped in Tiaro, and then progressively stopped more as we neared Maryborough. We spent a few hours finding a few geocaches in the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series, and then took a loop around Police Paddock Conservation Park. As the light faded, we caught up with [Liz and Bruce](https://coord.info/PR68BB).
Verplaatsing van Noose Head naar Agnes Water (in 3 dagen). Onderweg deze cache gelogd. TFTC.
When we were at the Rutherglen Mega, I spent a lot of time logging each cache. So, today I am trialling a template for logs.
Nice easy cache with great access.

With a free day, we spent the day walking in this area. This was one of our parking places and a short walk then to GZ.
It was a lovely and unexpected find, and we noted a clue in case we manage to get ourselves to the final in the series.

This was the last cache found for the day on our mountain bike manic meander up the coast.
Getting a little behind in the digital logging.
This was a short relatively flat leg from tewantin to pomona.
Excited to finally find one of the bones caches in this old series.
Thanks cooroy scouts for hiding the original series and spinna76 for keeping them alive for us to find.
Cool guardian, glad to see he's survived till now.

Muggle65 and l were parked very near this one to retrieve one of the Evil caches. We are looking forward to an Eerwah walk so we grabbed this one and the required clue. Thank you for this fun series
Spoiler ALERT!!!!! I found this ancient treasure. I left TGG for dead on this find. Forget the fact she waited in the car had nothing to do with my excitement level. Easy find and got the clue for our impending mountain climb
We were heading north for a CITO event and also a celebration event at Gympie but with car problems as we neared the CITO the decision was made that after the event we would turn around and head back to Caboolture. Drat drat and double drat.
We decided to use the old Bruce Highway and pickup what caches we passed as we did not wish to put undue pressure on the car.
Hubby forgot to get the code from this one, we will return. SL TFTC

Day 3 of our weekend geocaching adventure with RoddyC, hatzofff and Snickersallan, we are continuing our adventure by 4WD today. Hubby came up for the day and is driving us around the caches in this area.
Unfortunately the hope for dry tracks were dashed by the storm that went through the area last night. Most tracks were still accessible but did make for an interesting drive. Our 4WD is quite capable and hubby a great driver so no problems.
After completing the EVIL series, we stopped to find this cache. Made a quick find.
SL then returned as found.

Just because an event was cancelled, doesn't mean we cancel our weekend. Now what can we do. Today is 4WD. Set off into the evil forest hoping that the heavy downpour last night won't make it too difficult.
Great day doing some 4WD caches. Good to meet another one of the family and letting up now in on one if your secrets - numbers noted.

Legendary manager of Led Zeppelin Peter Grant died from a heart attack aged 60. Known as being one of the shrewdest and most ruthless managers in rock history, Grant secured 90% of concert gate money and intimidated record store owners who dealt in bootlegs. The former wrestler, also worked as a film extra and bodyguard. During the early 60’s Grant worked as a tour manager for Bo Diddley, The Everly Brothers, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent and The Animals.

I contacted GeoNayfee and said I was looking at doing the evil series of caches at Pomona and a couple as we passed. It’s an early morning trip as I want to be home by mid-afternoon, not a big day, but we are going to have to leave early. Yeah sounds good and with a leave pass granted we were off. A 4 am start for me and a pickup along the way saw us arrive in Pomona by 6.30 am. To keep my cache a day and my trad a day challenges going we picked up a couple along the side of the road first. A short stop for some breakfast and then we were off caching the evils or so we thought.
A wrong turn into the wrong forest saw us doing some 4 wheel driving on some very turned up tracks and then, oh shoot, we were stuck. With all the rain and mud there was no way of getting up that hill in the clay…. 2 hours later with the ruts filled in and the centre mounds dug up, we finally got out, only to find the next issue ahead and then the next. 3 and a half hours later we were finally out and back on the right path. Hmm so much for the early caching day.
OK, then the day picked up and we were off collecting all 6 of the evil series and a few trads in the area as well. It was a fun filled day, I can see why the names of the caches came about, that landscape in certain parts was just pure evil. Plants that reached out and grabbed you, grass that was 6 foot tall, trees falling beside us, vines with 2 inch long thorns and then there was the walking in creek beds and water crossings; what an adventure.
All in all it was a good day, I think I made it home around 630 pm, hmm early day lol. Thank you for the puzzles and the caches, most are still in good condition with some needing a little attention of broken lids or damp log books. I have given 3 favourite points to certain caches, thank you.

Chamad got in contact with me yesterday to see if I had any plans for today, which I didn't, but I wasn't sure if my partner had anything planned so I had to double check with her since she likes to make plans at the last second, but luckily I got the all clear from her and was able to tag along with Chamad for an epic adventure up to Pomona. Huh, where the hell is that? I had to ask where that was because I've never heard of the place before, so I checked to see where we were going. "Wooow! That's a decent trek! But with most of the target caches being off road we decided to take Chamad's beast because my little Broom Broom wouldn't make it over a tiny pebble on a good day.
The day started extremely early and I'm NOT a morning person so it was rather difficult to get out of bed at that time (4:30am), but after some food and a decent sized coffee I felt more alive and ready for the day ahead. I meet Chamad at my local shopping centre, left my car and we made our way to Pomona.
Our target caches for the day were the Evil series and wow, they were evil, the whole area was evil. Getting bogged for several hours, walking through spider webs and getting whipped in the face by strange plants that cut up my face. Yeah.. It's an evil place that's for sure, we also picked up several trads along the way as we made our way around the area.
All in all, despite the blooded face and getting bogged it was a great day out today. At times it looked like it was going to rain, but thankfully it didn't, the tracks were already soaked with water, so we didn't really need anymore.
Thank you for placing these caches for us to enjoy. Some were more evil then others, but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience here today.

This was conveniently located near our parking spot for the commencement of today’s adventure. It would be rude not to show his cache a little love!
Due to the Covid-19 Virus and the instructions given by our Government to stop all non essential travel I have decided to disabled this Geocache. This decision was made after receiving a number of logs on caches I own or that I am a custodian of.
Anybody logging this cache while being disabled will have their log deleted from the cache page and removed from the physical log within the cache.
The cache will be reactivated after we are given clearance to freely travel.

Today I conquered the Evil series. I was chatting to another geocacher last weekend. Was told they weren’t to hard to solve. To back that up, I started solving one of them when we were talking. A few minutes later had it solve. Then I just started laughing. She look at me to see what was funny. I told her I just finished solving it.
4 days later had finished all 6. But that’s just me, 3 of them were just causing me problems. I was using the wrong solver program. Now that was the easy part.
I check will Grannysmith1947 if she would like to come along us usually she said yes. We bought along Miss Millie. Maybe we shouldn’t it turn out to be a National Park whoops .
So the day was planned to pickup 5 traditional and 6 mystery, found fist traditional at 8.40am and the last mystery was found at 1.40pm. One we had to MAF because that one was causing us problems.
Oh, that wait awhile caused us a lot of pain. I am glad that I read some of the logs. I went up with long pants on. But should had wore long sleeve to. And maybe a helmet as well. I came away with scratches behind my ear. Ouch.
I will not be going back. Lucky I have a 4wd because I needed it with all the wet tracks.
After them we grab two letterbox so that now 50 I have collected. Now only have one letterbox left on the Northside of Brisbane a few Southside and all clear up to north of Gympie. . And I cleanup two DNF I had. So 15 caches for the day.
Sorry for a generic post.

Today we had a lovely tour as we headed on the way south with ilook4geo. We saw water and island views, pine forests and logging of the trees, as well as eucalypt forest and little quiet out of the way hamlets.
We had a really good day, with no DNF caches to record and each log was duly signed, with each cache being returned to its proper place before we moved on. The cache page info made the hiding place for this cache easy to find. Thanks go to cooroy scouts for placing this cache and to Brother Colin for adopting it.

Has a good drive today with lots of different scenery to enjoy. Found all the caches looked for with goingplaces2, signed the logs. Enjoyed the day very much. Thanks to each CO for the caches we found.
There was no Roman bones but the cache was there. Did a swap and signed log then ran for it before the rain caught us. Look forward to getting the clues from the rest of the bone quartet
We had a slight detour from our target series and decided to climb to the top of the last mountain to grab the other caches on it seeing as though we were there. We are back with the eye on the prize now. How funny we have parked in this exact spot before to head in across the road for some other fantastic plastic but never paid any attention to this one. That’s the way the cookie crumbles when you are particularly after something.
Walking to GZ, Mr 4ando was questioned on why didn’t we just drive straight up instead of making the long walk of 70m. Looking at a few obvious features we soon had the fantastic plastic on this side on the road and yeeha, the clue is there. We are thinking this series is going to go together like a meat pie and sauce or bacon and eggs.

Went back and forward along Yurol Forest Drive looking for an access point to the last piece of evil across the road. Wearing out a track on the road after a few passes, parked on this road.
The irony of the placement of this cache caused me to smile, whether it was deliberate or not:-
"Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears. I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him. The evil that men do lives after them for the offered roman and countrymen"
No ears found, nor a buried Caesar and the evil will await til a cooler month before doing the 500m bush bash. But bones were discovered nearby as well as a good Melb Cup party. Thanks for continuing the life of the cache Brother Colin, I may have enough info now for the final.

Happy to be invited along with Wayn0 to pick up some finds after today’s event.
Quick find here. Only one more needed for the coordinates for the bonus.
Thanks for hiding.

We have set up camp for a couple of days at Kanganda, a good location to head along the Amamoor Muster Trail & the south along the Old Bruce Highway. A great contrast in regions from forestry , highways into small towns.
A good variety of locations & caches found.
Thanks for placing this cache Brother Colin

Love driving through the state forest. Up this way dropping the kids off to their mum and took the opportunity to clean up the map a bit more.
Pulled up roughly where the GPS was showing jumped out and immediately spied a likely spot. Sure enough, the cache was quickly in hand and the clue was obtained for the final. Must not be many more to go.
Love this series, thank you Cooroy Scouts for placing and Brother Colin for adopting and maintaining.
This makes smiley 408 and the first for the day

An afternoon up on the Sunny Coast with 1GiantPanda and dahumbug taking me in his 4WD to finally claim some Evil caches. Having achieved that and crossed them off my list, I was fast running out of time for much else, but this cache was "just over there" and those rattling bones were calling me. So a quick this way and an even quicker that way as the turn appeared sooner than expected, and we were soon pulling up. Over I charged, no need for roman far here , to make a quick find and take note of the clue for future reference. This is my first cache in this series, so the rest will be on my hit list now for another day. Looking forward to the rest of the series, and its final.
Thanks for the cache Brother Colin.

My last one in the bones series already had Mother. Loved finding each one thanks for it.
Great. Got the 4 bones - now off for the Mother Lode. GPS roamed a bit at GZ, but the right spot was found soon after at an easily retrievable spot. TFTC Brother Colin
Careful where we trod looking for this one with the thought of snakes not far off our mind. Tftc
Out for a day of caching with vennfamily and Vegan Cachers (VC)
Pulled up at this one with vf and me following our GPSs. VC who had previously been here was surprised to see us walk right past where he believed the cache to be (although vf did take a peek as it's a great place to put a cache). Turns out it has been moved since his last visit.
A fairly quick find by vf here. Clue noted and returned as found.
Thanks

Find #2295
I have had the Evil series solved for some time and needed two of them to complete the second loop of my D/T grid. Today was the day that I decided to head up and find them. Vegan Cachers, although having done the series previously, offered to join me and, at the last minute, nikid1 announced her availability to join us as well. We got through the target caches in quick time while having a lot of fun and even managed to grab a few bonus caches on the way home.
While trying to find a way to get to Evil Five, we decided to stop and find this one. Mr VC wanted to log it again as it has apparently moved since he found it a couple of years ago. We took note of the clue for the final.

Although we did the Evil series a couple of year's ago I couldn't knock back the opportunity to tag along & revisit these great caches.
Teamed up with **nikid1 & vennfamily** (designated driver & instigator of this adventure) & headed north.
There is always the chance of picking up a few extras along the way! LOL ... Caches that is!
I thought this would be a quick park & grab but hadn't realised the cache had been relocated about 15 metres from it's original position.
I was surprised when **vennfamily** checked where it 'had' been only to wander off elsewhere.
A check of past logs revealed the cache had been muggled again & therefore moved to a new location.
Marked the log to record my visit.

Headed for an afternoon caching in Yurol State Forest when I spied this cache as my geopartner WallabyTim was driving. He was on the brakes quick to pull off. With a nice short stroll WallabyTim was quick to spot this cache. A beautiful burnt out tree hollow and a tall curved tree with a bee hive were fun to take in also. TFTC
ok! only one more clue to go for mother bones! This was a lovely little drive by in the evening - we were on the way to Tin Can Bay and went the country way this time! GPS did essus around a bit but the clues work.
Out and about in the area so thought we'd catch up on some caches. Found the track into the forest but where appalled at all the rubbish that had been dumped!! Soon had cache in hand and made note of the information for future use. TFTC Brother Colin
Although we have already found this one another year, I could not find where I'd hidden the clue. Since we were close by today, we popped in and quickly re-recorded the clue for Mother Bones. Now we have all the clues and look forward to climbing Eerwah when the weather cools down a bit...

We parked just off the main road and walked in as we didn't fancy having to reverse all the way out again. Once at GZ we made a quick find. TNLNSL TFTC
Quick find after the Queensland Mountain bike orienteering champs in the surrounding forest. Main purpose, to leave a TB before we return to New Zealand.
New Cords;-
Following a request from my son the CO, could I please find a replacement container, and a new hide.
Not a problem, done today, both tasks completed.
Container is now #2 size systema.

Managed to drive up to cache in the little 2wd. Only one more bones to find to have the set and then off to Mother. Thanks Brother Colin.
On the way up the coast today to collect some Evil smilies I was happy to see another "Bones" cache so close by...better stop and find it then By happy coincidence our bones find today was also a mini milestone. Find #1700. When we reached GZ we found a collection of treasures and a logbook in a zip lock bag, but no container?? The logbook was signed and everything returned and covered as well as we could without a replacement container. Very odd. We took photos to record the clue and prove the find. Tftc Brother Colin, sorry we didn't have any spares on board to fix up the cache while we were there. Another Bones ticked off the list!
It seems someone has nicked the ammo can again.
If someone is heading this way soon please bring a regular sized container.
I may also move this cache at a later date.

Out for a day of caching with stortigirls. We realised that we would not be too far from this one, so decided to make a small detour. We parked the car and scrambled down, being careful of the barbed wire at the bottom. Then we were able to walk along a nice wide track to GZ. There, we found the logbook in its ziplock bag and some swag, but no container. We searched around, but couldnt find it anywhere. We added our name to the log then rehid everything as we had found it before continuing on our way. I am sorry we did not have a replacement container with us. TFTC
