Nice and quick find once the GPS settled itself down. Log signed and cache returned back to its original hiding position. All looks good with this one!
I stopped to grab this Golden oldie cache as I meander back to my accommodation ..and I also stopped to admire the spring flowers
Quick find here today cache is all goodOn a week long trip to Melbourne for work and to watch the AFL prelim at the MCG, I decided to drive over and make a bit if a caching trip out of it as well. Stopping to find the odd cache here and there along the way. Thanks for the cache
Found with carkisser.Parked nearby soon had cache in hand.Left nothing, took nothing. TFTC.
Just one more before my holiday time is up in the area pity it's raining here today nice quiet park cheers KB
We had lunch and a quiet cuppa and discovered that there was a cache hear!! Fantastic!
I was spending a few days in Geelong after attending the Capital City Geobash in Canberra and I decided to do a day trip to Castlemaine grabbing caches along the way. Thank you fozzy778 for placing and maintaining this cache..
Staying at the race grounds in Newstead, we decided to check out the town. There are some beautiful properties here. This cache was found after a short search.
Heading to the Canberra mega, we camped in Newstead for the night. After doing the Ad Lab on foot, we jumped in the geomobile to do the nearby trads. A lovely park. We made a quick find and then enjoyed the park. Tftc.
I headed up to Dimboola for a CITO yesterday and did not realise it had been cancelled on Friday evening until I was checking what time it was planning on starting when in Stawell. It was cancelled due to the heat and the total fire ban as well.It was going to be hot picking up rubbish so it was for the best.I did some caching in Stawell and still headed up to Dimboola to do a small I Spy Series. On the way back I tried booking some accommodation for the night. After finding out that all of the accomodation is booked out between Stawell and Ballarat for night I stayed in Avoca for the night and now it is a different way home. After touring the Perydale historic area and finding a mine I got out of the bush only to find I was heading back in again but in a different direction. So Im back out of the bush again and hopefully for the last time as I have to get home eventually.Zig zagging my way around the backroads and finding random caches as I go.On my way out of Newstead and I noticed this one on the side of the road.I parked the Geocruiser in the park and headed back to this one.The park was empty probably due to the heat.Cache was soon located. Thanks fozzy778 TFTC.
A quick park and grab while driving past. Log is out of room though and had to squeeze down the side of it. TFTC
The Rotunda Park was deserted and at GZ our initial search didnt reveal anything. On widening the search we eventually discovered the cache about 7 m from where we started searching. Thanks to fozzy778 for the cache.
Found at 8.00am whilst out for our morning walk around Newstead. A nice small park, but the grass needs mowing.A quick find.TNLNThanksK&M
Staying in Welshmans reef for the long weekend. We are going to go for a ride tomorrow on the rail trail between Castlemaine to Maldon and find a few caches on the way. It is a very pretty area here enjoying the birds and countryside.TFTC
Our GZ today was right in the drain. After going about 8m further out of town we soon made the quick find
TFTC and greetings from Tassie

A dnf from a long time ago, but we found it this time as we were passing through. A cute little park. TFTC
Headed out this way for a look around and a few caches and this was my next stop...
A neat little area and with the cache found quickly it was off to the next one.
Thanks fozzy778...cache is all good.

A bit cold, but a lovely weekend nonetheless. Thanks Smitychips for doing all of the driving
Jinky and John were away at the Castlemaine Jazz Festival, and the bands may have had the morning off, but we didn't! Time to hit some caches. This is a nice little park. Left a Geonickel, SL TFTC.
Out for a local weekend drive with Mrs JTreeTrack2 in the trusty Geocamry again. No rain but were heading North, over the divide hoping for some warmer weather. So off to Maldon, Cairn Curran, Castlemaine and Newstead. Visit places seen before and new to us; always the joy of caching. The Rotunda Park, once investigating it was not the rotunda I know. Great to read and see the history of this site; amazing pictures of the community out and about in their finest and the now gone Rotunda. The cache was sought, caught and logged then returned safely.
Thanks for the cache fozzy778

After enjoying a hike around Sailors Gully and Forest Creek with her friend wendyb, Chook needed a quick stopover at the nearby facilities on the way home, and of course picked up this cache while here. A bit wet inside, but she added a sheet of stone paper that is water-resistant so hopefully this will hold up to take further logs. TFTC fozzy778.
Found it! Was really wet inside, couldn’t sign a log at all.
We met another geocacher walking her dogs just before we opened it though! She said she tried to find it once before but didn’t, and that she’ll find it later!
So hello to you if you’re reading my log!

Took us longer than we thought, the gps took us about 13m away. Busy road, lots of muggles. Log was to wet to wrote in. Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the trip to this spot. As others have mentioned the Cache and log badly now
need some TLC.

On our way home from a few days away and stopped off at some of the caches along the way. A nice quick find at gz, thanks for the cache.
Nice and easy find, but the log book was wet so I didint get to write my name
Haven't been geocaching for a while and this was the first I've found for a few months. Always love hunting for caches. It was a bit waterlogged after the heavy rains on Friday and I wasn't able to write in it because I didn't bring a pen.
Fun little break from driving along. Easy enough find lots of grass in the socks now. Tftc
Such a fun first find for my daughter and I. We didn’t have a pen and there was no pen to write down our names but S&M found this treasure on 21/10/2021️!!
Was a little worried about the spotty GPS connection but this was a nice and quick find (and a nice toilet break, haha). A few muggles setting up a birthday party, looks like a nice place! TFTC!
Used to live in Newstead but never came here! What a lovely park, It’s well kept and quiet. Nice and easy find with catherinec19
The team headed off to Màldon for another week camping with our daughter during the school holidays in the caravan. Not too busy at the campsite this week-campfires, exploring, Dunolly bakery visits, playing family boardgames every night. Thanks so much to the CO's maintaining these for us to explore.
