Sadly this one eluded us before we even got to GZ. We couldn't work out part one but guessed part two. We think we were at the right place for that, based on previous logs, but couldn't find the date it was made anywhere. We thought there used to be a plaque somewhere, and found a spot we thought it should be, but nothing, even Google couldn't help us, so I'm afraid we had to give up for today
Hopefully we'll get a chance to return and try again, thanks

We think we got the final coordinates right but it was way past our lunch time and we were not in the mood for an extended search. We'll be back.
With fresh eyes we returned to gz this morning with determination to find the cache. We were here on Anzac Day and we were starting to doubt our calculations. Convinced we were in the right place we searched again and had the cache in hand in minutes. Thanks for a challenging cache
Finally!!!!! Third attempt. This time I had help from frmen1 which was great as there was yet another fisherman close by (who was having some success). TFTC
With tassie expat. I had to sprawl flat out like a lizard to find the actual cache. Thanks for this puzzle.
Rechecked my calculations, had all the time in the world and no muggles. No smiley face for me this time.
Did the calculations, but when we got to GZ there was a muggle fishing. Didn't look like he was having much luck, but he wasn't moving on in a hurry. Will come back

After a farm visit near by I though I would tackle this multi. Parking near another cache, I grabbed the pad, read the description and started working out the WP2. That completed I recognised the location on satellite and realised the information for that was indeed on a different cache description nearby!! That left me working out the final GZ, first attempt I realised I had put in the wrong values, second had me with a viable GZ.
Parked the GeoRanger nearby and walked to GZ, after a quick search soon had cache in hand!!!
Thanks for the cache Nav Nuts!!!

Went out geo cacheing with geo daughter and her partner today. Note to self : leave partner at home next time he's a jinx.
We got the information for the 1st WPT and knew where to go for the next WPT, but were thwarted when we arrived there, I believe the plaque with the information we needed is no longer there. Tried to work it out using logic, but either needed a boat or had to walk too far, so gave up.
Thanks anyway Nav Nuts

Unfortunately this one evades us. Will need to re step this one next time we come this way. KeMS
Had to come back after first try as muggles were in the vicinity. I'm pretty sure I got to the correct place but just couldn't find it. Will try again next time I'm in Venus Bay. Thanks.
We happened on WP2 before starting out on this one. Got the data and did the calcs, before heading to GZ. Short search and cache in hand. Worth noting the size is about 75x 50x 7, different to that in the instructions.
We enjoyed this cache, but the low number of "founds" made me wonder if I was "nuts" trying to make the find But all went well, it was in our hands shortly after arriving at the final co-ords. Maybe 3 different points in a multi scares people off - but we recommend giving it a shot- it takes only a short amount of time to walk between points and its not hard to calc. . The logs are all dry now. TFTC. We'll be back for more.
Finally a nice day after last time I tried to do this cache I was in the middle of a thunder storm caching in the rain with an umbrella not the best idea. Grabbed this one on the way past to do some possible FTFs while waiting for Gonefishen07 to turn up a together do a few hides and a few finds. I guess you could call that a heads upthat there will be a few more caches down this way that I want be coming to do FTFs on.
Second for the day, great to be out in the sun. The cache was found, but the log is truly waterlogged. I tried drying it out, but it really needs replacement or a few hours in front of a heater.

We think we were at the right spot but a beautiful day has a lot of tourist and fishermen about so the search had to be put on hold until we return. Annedo

Then had abit of a think about things Hmmmmmmmmm Nav Nuts they are very sneaky it must be here just need to look harder. Was about to call it quits after 1/2 hr searching then Bingo found it. Found GZ with ease but it was raining cats and dogs so it was a quick look in between passing cars no luck. Reading the log maybe it was not my eyesight and rain that was the problem, will have another look next time we are down that way.
Found it all except GZ
Hunted high and low, and nothing... arghhhhh
what a horrid day for the greynomads
Scenery was nice, loved the long lunch tables
thanks anyway

Our first maths lesson in a long time but we passed, found it with no problems at 1055 am. Was a nice spot to have morning tea. TFTC Nav Nuts
Found today at 11.15am
I had collected the clues the previous few days and today headed out to GZ. When I arrived, there were some fisherman about, but I was on my push-bike so I pretended to take a drinks break and do some stretches while looking for the container.
Once found, I signed the log and returned to hiding spot.

Found at 8.30am following a rethink on the calculation substitutions and a short search of GZ.
Cache is in good nick, although it has been some time since last find
Many thanx to Nav Nuts for the stop over

No luck with this one today. The mozzies are HUGE and there's thousands of them - as we pulled up in the car, a big cloud of them rose up in front of the car. They looked like dust, except it was much too wet for there to be any. Once we got out of the car, they were everywhere - some up to 1cm long - and so slow that swatting them was ridiculously easy. I guess they're the dominant predator in the area.
Had a good look around the site - there's really only 2 obvious places where a cache is likely to be - but came up empty. After about 15 minutes, our arms were one big welt from all the bites we'd taken, so we called it a day.

A year or so back I did the multi only to make a calculation error which put me miles away in private property.
Obviously I shouldn't have made the error and a year later and wiser for he experience I went straight to GZ.
Still took a bit of finding but only mosquitos to bother us.
Lovely peaceful town.
Thanks Navnuts

A nice early morning find with feathertop after overnighting in Inverloch.
Lovely spot but the mozzies kept us company until we reached Fish Creek.
Thanks

Dang! We did all the hard work for this one only to find some fuggles (fishing muggles) at GZ. They were right on top of it and looked to be set for the day. Oh well, there's always next time.
Nice little town. We guessed the first question, but couldn't find the required information for the second. No lunchers here today, as we collected the dates. We decided to go get the next cache and pick up the final on the way back through.
Finally got Hell+back to grovell around looking for caches
Thanks for all your caches that we did today, Robmc.

Wee hee!! My first find for the day (and only about the second I've ever beaten RobMc to!) so I reckon this was a pretty damn fine hide...
New to geocaching ( 1 week) and armed with a gps and a few friends went in search of this cache. Unfortunately unable to locate it had the east co ord's right but the southern co ord's were going to put me in the middle of private property. Oh well had to try maybe next time
Found by Ayzeds in the company of the Oddzippers. Had to wait for muggles to depart, then easily found by Cache Girl. Nice hide - TFTC
Found today after a mix up of coordinates yesterday, must stop and fish here one day. signed log.

After a nice ride out to Walkerville to see the old lime kilns and then lunch at fish creek decided to go for this cache on our way back to inverlock, put in one co ordinate wrong and ended up near a field of the cutest calves. Ran out of time and checking our co ordinates for next time went back to caravan for dinner. Unfortunately leaving Inverlock this morn 23rd for home but ohbeeone is going to check this one out before leaving. We will finish it next time we are around this way. I wonder if he found it! - penndragon. thanks for the hunt.
The only reason I did not find this one is that I totally misread that the digits A-F in WP1 were not to be used again in calculating GZ. This I did with disasterous results putting me 5km from the cache in private property. I still did not get it right until tonight so I will have to return.
Found at 10.55am GAFF1. It was really hot today so a quick find was in order so that we could move on to the pub for a drink! We liked the wooden structure. Thanks Nav Nuts.
FlyingPigSquadron has landed!
Found whilst taking iluvtrekking from W.A. on a tour of South Gippsland - Fish Creek to Phillip Island today. Fantastic weather.
Great place TNLNSL Thanx Nav Nuts

What a lovely river a quaint little town, we like multi caches that introduce you to an area that we haven't been to before. Surprised that it was still there under the circumstances.
Found @ 5:35pm A great spot and lovely little town, thanks for making us look a little closer. TNLNSL TFTC
Fifth of fifteen cache finds for the day in the company of dak’s Emu Mob, the cache was found at 14:50. We guessed the answer for the first waypoint and then made our way to the biggest one I have seen, I wonder who draws the short straw if it rains. We were soon at GZ where we got drawn to the obvious object before finally finding the cache at the other obvious object. Thanks Nav Nuts for the cache.
#14 of 26 finds in South and Western Gippsland, in company with acts2youthgroup. I found this one at 1450. I guessed what we would find at the first waypoint, so we went straight to WP2. I must admit that I was intrigued about what I would find there. Of all the things I had guessed, I hadn't guessed that! I was seduced by the 'obvious spot' at GZ, but there were a couple of obvious spots. Predictably, I chose the wrong one first. Then I found the cache in the second place I looked. It's only a micro, so I made no exchange. Thanks to Nav Nuts for the cache. Cheers, dak.
We pulled up at wpt 1 and hand the information in hand without leaving the car and continued on to wpt 2 where we found a common structure but never have we seen one as large as this before, it would be a great place for a cache event. We collected the required information and then headed off to gz where we found some fishermen very close to gz. We decided to go and do another local cache and when we returned we had the area to ourselves making for a nice easy find.
Thanks Nav Nuts for showing us this lovely little town

Found by Mary & David at 1510. Had a good chuckle at WP2 - we had't seen one this big before. Nobody about either. The area at GZ was all clear too, so we had no trouble locating the cache. Excellent. TNLN. Our thanks to Nav Nuts once more.
Headed down to check the state of the cache. Happy to report the cache was found safe and well. NAV NUTS : )
Special Thanks to 'The Wandering Wilko's' for the heads up on the state of this caches location! We will head down for maintenance ASAP, Thankyou. NAV NUTS.
As we approached the plank I could not help but fear for the Cache's life. Due to the storm the "Plank" was covered with debris, part of a smashed boat. The waves had completely washed over the plank which is a couple of feet clear of the water. Any cache would have to have been securely attached to survive. Please have a check.
Another case of de'je vue at waypoint one. It was where we bought bait, some time earlier in the day. we entered waypoint 2 to find ourselves at the same place we started fishing first.
We plootted the final location and arriving at GZ at 11.20pm it was another spot on coordinate easy find.
Many thanks again to Nav Nuts for the cache in a spot that we commented earlier as some great places to hide a cache, little did we know earlier in the day that they were already there but not online yet, definitly highly recomended caches around here, worth the drive.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the "We walked the plank and caught some nice large Whiting too" Clan.
