21:30 Moving the cache to a more perment location a few meters away in a new container. Stay tuned it will be in the publishing queue in the next hour....
The cache has been muggled. The container can be spotted further along the creek (I've found the cache before, so I know what it looks like) and unfortunately it seems to have been opened and the contents are presumably lost.
I tried to retrieve the container, but got too close to falling in...
Please excuse the crappy phone photos.

Thanks wookie-athos - I will try and place a new one in a similar spot this week and try remove the remains
1/1/2008 08:33 Happy New Year. I rescued the old cache (thanks for the tip wookie-athos) and just missed out swiming ! It was no act of nature . I brought along a new cache but the battries on the GPS died as I approached so as a temporary measure, a new 1ltr cache has been placed about 5 meters south of the list coord. Hopefully later in the week we can find a better home with a larger container. I should another muggle warning.....

Located the cache and was just about to retrieve it when muggles came around the corner, had to kill a few minutes until they had gone before logging the visit.
This one was quite a tricky one, as the GPS said it was about 10M away from the actual location.

Found on my weekend trek around the suburbs.
It took a while for the GPs to settle, but after a serious look in lots of places it was in the obvious place after all. TNLNSL.
Thanks

Loved the idea of another new cacher in the making. Took radio and left car. Have found a few in SA in similar places so no problem to find.
Found at 0820. A nice hide in a great area. Plenty of muggles out exercising, although none around GZ. Nice work J.

Found this cache pretty easy, although my gps wasn't the most accurate. Plenty of muggle traffic as school had just finished.
Thanks for getting me to the park on such a wonderful afternoon!!
Thanks for getting me to the park on such a wonderful afternoon!!
Found by half of Team Ladava at 7.45 while the better half attended a seminar at the nearby MS headquarters.
What a delightful park.
Took a few minutes as the posted coordinates had be quite a few metres away but after a little fruitless searching I thought, where would I put a cache in this area and the prize was soon in hand.

Retrieved the two Geocoins
Well done Justin, thank you for a very enjoyable cache.

Found at night, nice easy one for a friends first find. Left a bug that I've had for far too long.
Thought that I would add this to my collection on my day off. Great little park and the cache was where I thought it would be. Had to wait awhile though as the council were spraying not far from GZ. I was able to do the swap when they retreated into the bush.
Thanks Solomanfamily and Just In Cache for getting me fired up today.

Found today by Astro69 and Mitcheboy005.A good easy cache in pleasant surroundings close to our home.Thanks.
A sweet lil' hide in another lovely urban bushland setting.
We're very envious of Melbournites who have these fantastic green spaces just a stone's throw from their backyards.
The parrots were going crazy talking to each other while the PA not far away was not even distracting them.
Thanks for the hide and hope Justin continues to enjoy his future caching adventures.

6th cache today and what a grat day out. the weather was great wondering around Melbournes inner city corridors of flora and fauna. Sadly Geojess stayed in the car, we thought we'd only be a minute.

An easy find on a beautiful, muggle-free Sunday morning. Thanks to the cache co-owners for showing us this park. The birdlife was plentiful and we enjoyed listening to their mid-morning singing. It seemed an appropriate place for the "Mr Quacker" TB to spend some time with lots of other feathered friends to keep him company and a nearby stream for him to swim in.
14:34 Popped in to say hi and to drop in a new pen for the log book. also added an SES sticker.

Found by Roma and Max.
Well the animals have been fed and we are picking up where we left off 12 hours ago!
It was an entirely different prospect approaching this one in daylight and we made an easy find.

I found this cache in the company of Amy who rarely accompanies me on caching trips. We enjoyed the walk through the park and watched the dogs being naughty for their owners. I grabbed a whole heap of coins and a TB.

Dropping a heap of Geocoins for Team Rubiik to pick up. Don't go rushing out there to grab them, they've been picked up already!
I'll delete this note when TR logs them out of the cache.

A nice park tucked away. We had just located the cache when a group of bike-riding muggles zipped around the corner, rattled across the bridge, and disappeared as fast as they came. We rehid the cache, and were off.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Nice place! We thought the cache would be in the likely place as we walked up but the GPS said otherwise untill it settled down. The cache was partly in the open so we hid it a bit better afterwards.
Many thanks to Justin.

Got to this one today, nice spot, thanks Justin. grabbed the geocoin whilst I was there. cheers
Decided to look for this cache on the way home from Jan's 60th. Great food at the Glencoe and needed to walk it off. Quickly found but had to watch out for dog walking muggles. Noted last person to find was the day before. Tut tut Eudes, another lunchtime foray eh? Took lager beer TB, left Geocoin.
Found this one at 13:30 today, not yesterday as I obviously put in the log book . It looks like the pressure of getting to a cache before our good friends LinearZZ brings out the worst in me in relation to logging times and dates, whether I know they're going to be there or not .
TNLNSL. Thanks Solomonfamily and Just In Cache. A very nice park.

A classic hide which took us several minutes to find set yet again in a lovely park. Melbourne seems to have these areas nature areas every where! They are wonderful places and very enjoyable places to visit. Thanks for bringing us here.

#18 of 38 finds on a cold, wet, miserable day in Melbourne. I found this one at 1430. Nice, easy find in a traditional location. It was raining again, and so I logged this one under an umbrella. [B)] I made no exchange. Thanks to Solomonfamily (and Justin) for the cache. Cheers, dak.
Found 12:00, a nice easy find in a very pleasant park.

Found by edmil and maddie. This was just a bit more than a slight drizzle in the air, but this didn't deter us from grabbing this one. The location brought back fond memories as this was a place I often stopped at to have lunch while I was working in the area. Thanks for the cache TNLN
This was our seventh cache for the day while out with Cracker Girl. Cracker Mum knew this park well as her grand parents used to bring her here to play when she was little. We followed the gpsR to GZ where we found a young couple sitting and talking not far away. We stood and admired the views until they left and the cache was located soon after.
Took TB mikey and Dinosaur
Left Spirit Keyring.
Thanks for the cache. We hope that Justin finds some more caches soon.

Good to find a cache big enough for the travel bug that I took from Brisbane.
Found by Facitman and the Facit-Family at 16:30
Having spent the afternoon at Facit-Pa and Facit-Grandma's the family stopped by this cache for a short stroll on a late afternoon. Arrived at GZ and s-facit was saying found it before anyone else had time to look. Retreated nearby to write the log.
TNLN as we didn't have our swaps bag with us, but snaffled the U4D Travel Bug.
Thanks Solomonfamily and Just In Cache for a nice park that I've known about for over thirty years but never before visited!

I enjoyed this lovely reserve on a visit from Goolwa at the mouth of the Murray in South Australia.
Found today with Oenze on our way to Warburton. The foot traffic around here was increasing so discretion and a lookout were in order. TNLN thanks nephew J for inspiring this one.
Find # 1552 and the 5th of the day at 8:00am . Accompanied by Feathertop to Warburton and beyond. The GPS'r battery went flat just as we reached GZ, lucky Owen had bought his along so we could find the cache. TNLN, Signed Log,

A nice easy find in a lovely cache. GPS pointed a little way off but there was no likely spots there, so the obvious spot was searched briefly. Thanks for the cache.
This is a nice little cache in a pretty spot. Dropped on Japan Geocoin and collected TB Cache Watcher. Did not see TB The Great Escape so I guess it has made another great escape.

Because this one was so close to home we had to bump it off the list. Thanks Justin!
A nice cache to find in a lovely park on a lovely morning today. Like acts2 yesterday the lorikeets squawked as I signed the log. A couple of Gang Gangs had called their "squeeky doors" to me as I drove up to the park too! TNLN Thanks Solomonfamily for the nicely placed cache.
This park sure seemed popular with walkers, I sat on the near by seat to log the cache and as I did I watched several rainbow lorikeets in the near by tree. Thanks Solomonfamily and Just In Cache
Found by Mary & David at 1520. Plenty of birds about after the rain. A few people passing by, so we had to be careful. TNLN, but dropped off TB Cache Watcher. As requested, the TB isn't in the cache but is watching from an extremely close vantage point. Our thanks to Solomonfamily and Just In Cache.
Another really nice spot for a cache. Geowife helpfully provided the clue, which made the cache a bit harder to find on account of the clue being for "Just In Cache" (sorry Justin) instead this cache. This clue contained exactly the wrong advice, but we found the cache anyway and had a bit of a laugh afterwards.
Collected TB "Kida Kumback" and left TB "Nemo".
Thanks Solomonfamily & Justin.

Found with Toholio. The photo made it alot easier as, being a local, I quickly recognised the spot.
Found 200705201157 . A nice quick find on the way to the Dandenongs although I did have to be aware of a few muggles in the general area

G'day to The Solomon Family,
We found our 7th SolomonFamily cache at 11:25am as the 1st of a mere 8 on one of our toughest caching days in our history. No trouble here though. Our day was off to a flier as this cache was literally a walk in the park. To our amusement, a flock of rosellas were putting on a grand show nearby, including one who had all the moves to charm the ladies. The co-ords seemed just a little to the north but with the cache being in the MOP, it meant that that was not a problem. Thanks for the cache. Left 2 x TB's.
Kind Regards,
D & H B-A

A bit of a coincidence - I was on my way home from visiting my mother yesterday and travelling along Middleborough Rd. When I passed this bit of bushland, it looked like such a good spot for a cache, I was trying to think whether kiwideb had one in there some time ago (she did, but it's now been archived) and, if not, why not? When I checked GC later that evening - lo and behold - my wish had been answered . I really enjoy these little strips and pockets of remnant bush - great spots for caches, often a bit of wildlife, usually plenty of birdlife and I can pretend I've really gotten away from it all . This morning, the cache was a nice, easy find in a traditional spot .
TNLN, but did a geocoin swap
Thanks Solomons and Justin.
PS I like the cache name - seems somehow familiar too .

Found at 9.30pm GAFF1. On our way home from a supper with friends, we made a slight detour to go search for this cache considering it was such a mild evening. p-pprass used to play Ninjas in this park many years ago, however it was just paddocks then with horses and oxen roaming around. This place has certainly changed since then and become a tame suburban park. Thanks Solomfamily and Just In Cache for bringing us back here. Took: B1, Left: Koala
*FTF* by Pickupfamily Mum, Dad and kids Pickup Dragon and Pickup Tiger. Our second FTF for this Mothers Day, both appeared with perfect timing. This time we had just finished a DVD and were wondering what to do for dinner.
The cache was found easily at 1833, in what looks like a great spot. Took TB, left compass rose geocoin. The kids played on the playground in the dark for a few minutes afterwards. TFTC Solomons and Justin.
