Really easy, too easy, found in plain sight so moved a bit to fit the hint better and covered it up TFTC
Navy Recruits found this cache as part of a leadership scenario. Great little one. Not too tricky to find.
My companion found it, it’s not the location I expected from the hint. Thank you for the cache.
Doesn’t look like the cache is anywhere close to where it must be. Theres is a fence but there was nothing in the description saying that you’d have to climb it or anything.
First stop here and there was a lady teaching her dog new tricks so I was as subtle as I could be, though she called me out and asked what I was up to. Geocaching was sufficient as she'd 'heard of that' and so I made the find unwatched. All good here thanks.
A stunner of a day today, although a few drops of rain did fall this morning, and I had an assignment with a 5-day to rectify, and my eyes on the (up until now) untapped potential of the Bayswater area. I was armed with a fistful of trackables to move on their way and keen to get out of the Devonport area before the afternoon traffic built up too much.
So I managed to offload 16 trackers and add 5 to improve my finds per day for 8 April, success!

A lovely location and a great view of the harbour bridge from here. Parked up nearby and made a nice quick find.
Quick find once we were at the right elevation! Bird spied and Phil retrieved. Signed log PBB to save space. Timed this wrong as could have been a great “sunset with the bridge” photo! TFTC
Quick find on the way home.
Had to wait for muggs with mowers to finish.

Way back in February Isis58, no.13 and I planned a trip to Auckland for the planned Mega event. When Covid struck and the country went into lockdown we decided to wait and see what happened - - that was less hassle than trying to get refunds on our flights anyway. Well, of course the Mega event was cancelled but luckily for us, flying was an option again by Labour Weekend. We changed some of the details of our trip but decided we would fit in as much caching as we could. We were joined by Mrs SoBad. We visited some amazing places, fitted in some walks, came across lots of people - - lots of traffic too. A huge thank you to the COs for hiding caches which presented us with puzzles to solve, took us to great places, were cleverly camouflaged, were cunningly hidden - - sometimes in plain sight - - all of the above and of course an equal thank you for the ones that just gave us one more smilie. We really really appreciated them all. Thanks !
On the way to GZ Mrs SoBad was wondering how may unused petanque courts are in the world. Then she admired the view. Then she watched another of the INSS team find the cache. Of course she could have - but she was not at GZ first as she was distracted!!
Thanks.
Thanks.
Wonderful views from this rather unattractive and unkempt park. Did the admiring of the view, found the cache and then a bit of a discussion on the demise of petangue. TFTC # 15,944
Found it within seconds thanks to the easy hint. Beautiful spot and a beautiful day. TFTC
I did not find this cache
We think it might be on the other side of new fence...

Hurray I actually found a not powerpole or seat one. There is hope....lovely view.
Out caching with hayleyfcy today on a missing to get 30 caches for the day, which we achieved. Certainly plenty of choices and some great camo to detect.
Pulled up here and was perplexed - this looks very familiar and unlike G-2 I know Zork V isn't still running around the Shore replacing caches. Sure enough, walked down to GZ and found the cache in exactly the same place as last time. To add insult to injury I discovered that I had replaced the logbook as well, so not only had I been here before and fount it, I had also done maintenance and still not logged the find.
Correcting that today. All good here - great to see this old cache still going. Thanks for the cache.

There was no one around so we could search unimpeded and made a quick find. Its nice to come across a cache that has lasted so long.
We took a moment to enjoy the unique view. Thanks ZorkV for bringing us here.

We came to the area to watch the light show on the Harbor Bridge. Happy to find such a historic cache. All in good order. Hint didn't match final location but followed our geosenses for the find after a short search. TFTC.

Hello from the UK. Travelling around NZ for 5 weeks. Grabbing caches where I can. Staying at the nearby hotel. A few minute search of the area as hint did not match the hiding spot. Cache in good dry condition. SLAR.
Met up with paraonegirl and k-adventure for breakfast in Devonport and some caching. We were targeting different caches today so I split off from the others to find the few caches in the area that I hadn't yet found.
After having lunch, it was time to head towards home, but on the way, I still had a few caches to find in the Bayswater area.
Parked across the road from GZ and as I was getting out of the car a guy in the car beside me did the same. We both walked across the road, and I had to wait him out while he enjoyed the view down the fenceline from me, while surreptitiously trying to search. Eventually he left and I could properly search. Took a while to figure out where the cache was as it did not obviously match the hint.

Easy find, nice hide kinda exposed so we covered it up more, found with muggle friend

I remember looking for this one some time ago, must be my lucky day. Thanks Zork V.
22439 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we were went from Pauanui to Auckland. On several spots we stopped to find some caches and to enjoy the lookout views. Half day was sunny, half day was rain. Great variations today.
Most caches were found quite quickly. A few took more time. Several were with waterproof paper, but our stamp and pen do not work that good on such paper, where when it was wet paper it logs fantastic.
This one was just next to our hotel, so with a 2 minute walk the cche was found.
Zork V TFTC and the fun it brought us. Theo

This was a lucky find. I searched the hint and was about to give up when I saw it quite exposed. I am not sure where it was supposed to be so left it where it was. TFTC
A last cache for the day after a red eye flight from Perth WA and a long day caching by bike around Devonport. This one was meters from the hotel so took the opportunity for a evening TB photo shoot. TFTC.
What a glorious start to the day! Despite the lack of an hour's sleep with the daylight saving switchover, the geocaching bug had bitten once again and hot on the heels of my biggest ever haul in one day, I was out and about early doors.
Having previously not had any luck with this one, I decided on a second visit. I can't remember the exact placing of the maintenance fencing on my last visit, but know for sure I didn't look in this spot. Not at all what I expected, but pleased to turn a blue frown upside down TFTC

I looked in the prescribed spot, but nothing was to be found. As I expanded my search, I saw it without any cover staring back at me. After signing, I covered it a bit better. TFTC.
I believe cache is currently inaccessible. Large area surrounding what looked like GZ to me according to clue has been fenced off. I'll be back
Nice & easy when there's no one camping at GZ. TFTC!
(Log definitely needs replacing.)

Wow. A little visited cache. Log book is now full. Needs replacing.
Cache good.

Staying in the hotel next door I thought I would give this one a go. Used the hint but did not have any luck. Only found a knife which was a little concerning.
I had the same problem - seems that somebody lives right at the place of the cache
Thought this would be a quick, easy grab on the way home from dropping hubby off at ferry, but there appears to be someone camping at GZ. Tent, pants in tree, drink bottles around, etc. Didn't want to chance that the person was there to look around.
Will try again in a couple of days.

Some soccer-playing muggles arrived just as I did but don't think they were looking at me. Luckily there was a concrete path almost to the spot. Found in between the showers. Tftc
Also found two cache containers, both having logs with some really old signatures. This must be a cunning muggle ploy in case one goes missing, however signed both logs and rehide both before heading off, TFTC
Easy find! Could see it walking towards the area even though it was well covered.
Found after looking on the correct level! Log is full and needs replacing. No TB found in cache. TFTC
