Caught the tram down to this one wanting to do my part for Earth Cache Day. I came in from the opposite direction than suggested getting swopped by tow different magpies on the way. Managed to get a vantage point of the rocks without annoying the nearby muggle golfers.Answer submitted and approved. Thanks for bringing me to this interesting piece of Melbourne geology.

After attending an event nearby, OHC and I wandered around and picked up a few smileys as we went. Pleased that we visited this one as we also get an added bonus for an earthcache this weekend. To top that off, I love trying to find the older caches of which this is one. Thank you for bringing us here with this cache.

Being earthcache weekend, Geoturtle37 and I stopped by here to discuss the question, and dip and strike. Answer now submitted. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Rhinogeo ~~

I had plans to come into the city today to attend [RoamingHowie's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=24963346-56c5-4daf-8308-a01f60f5a5ba&wid=401cc094-27bb-4c22-95c8-f81409c9df6a&ds=2) event, [Spring Speak, Sip 'n Scoff in September (GCAW65G)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCAW65G), but I ended up getting off work a bit early and so I arrived in the city with time to spare. Well I had recently qualified for ['s](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=fdc60ecd-0f01-4bbe-8c8d-bc4200f1f8d5&wid=71fc8116-fb75-4bbb-a2b0-a43efc867e19&ds=2) challenge cache, [7:17 Challenge (GC79DVT)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC79DVT_717-challenge), and so I decided to make a little detour and head up to Royal Park to grab that cache. Well after I found that cache, I still had a bit of time to kill and so I decided to see what other caches were in the area when I spotted this one.Well I always love a good Earthcache, and with them being worth the most points for the current [Cosmic Quest](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2024/06/get-ready-for-a-cosmic-quest/) promotion, I decided I had to stop for this one. I honestly thought I had a good grasp on geological dips and strikes, but I really struggled to figure this one out. It took a lot of googling and watching a few Youtube videos in order to work out this one. However, I just wanted to give a big thanks to [Rhinogeo](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=e8b1c184-9fcf-47d0-a4e8-a4ed8fb44997&wid=3401508c-9020-427a-95f3-daa23ffaf54d&ds=2) for the help and patience with trying to understand this one. After attending a couple of the crawl in Sunbury/Riddells Creek, I meandered my way back home and decided to attempt a couple of caches - this being one of them. Dodged the dodgy golfers, half expecting a golf ball to hit me but all was well on this glorious afternoon. Still relatively new to earthcaches I knew I would have no hope of attempting a correct response without further research. So home I went and looked up what was required. I was close and I thank Rhinegeo for accepting my response and permission to log. Another geology lesson that I enjoyed. Thanks so much to Rhinegeo for creating and keeping this oldie going. A pleasure to do. Regardskbucky

We had a break during the workday and decided to head out and find an Earthcache to fill a gap in our calendar. We have attempted to find this Earthcache a couple of times before, but we ended up on the wrong side of the tracks. Today, we chose the right directions and were able to park nearby, despite there being a lot of tradies about building a new pavilion. After a short walk, we were at the spot where we needed to be and made our observations. It was great to be able to find one of the oldest Earthcaches in Victoria.Thank you, Rhinogeo, for your time and effort in creating and maintaining this Earthcache. We give you a favourite point.

On a hot day after helping at the CITO at Coburg Lake I took the walk to look at the fascinating rock formations on the other side of the railway line. I took photos so I could take a closer look at what I was supposed to be looking at. There certainly are some interesting profiles on the other side. Even having done a few Earthcaches where looking at dips and similar geological features I find it hard to interpret these from a two dimensional perspective. Thanks for bringing me here. Hopefully Ill learn more from it.

Site visited and information gleaned with dalerious Razz. We looked, we deduced, and we somehow worked it out without too much bother, as the CO has given us his blessing to log this majestic Earthcache. As we walked to posted coordinates, it felt a tad strange not having a set of golf clubs as part of our kit, but we were here for another game today, that didn't require a stick and little white ball .As we work our way through each Earthcache, it is surprising how things start making sense, and slowly but surely you start to pick up so much knowledge. I find that what we learn along the way, is in itself the most rewarding part of geocaching. Thank you Rhinogeo for providing this Earthcache in a lovely part of the big smoke.

WooHoo! First Go! Big GrinAfter catnap777 and I read the cache page and did a bit of on line research, we were left feeling a little less than confident about our ability to earn logging rights for this one. Red FaceAt GZ I would have felt a lot more comfortable with a golfclub in my hands than the miriad of TOTTs we took to try and sort this out. [8)] We had more than one hearty discussion about what coluded answer we should offer the CO, but then we just had to remind ourselves that it is just a D/1 Earthcache and that the KISS principal should be considered. Razz Keeping It Simple was our best idea which resulted in earning the go ahead to log on our first submission. Phew! Hole in one. Big GrinTFTC Rhinogeo. Cool

This one took me a few goes!I stopped in here before attending an event and had a little stroll through the area just before the heavy downpour of rain. I made a note of what I thought was the correct answer and sent it to the CO. A quick response confirmed I was incorrect.Fortunately I had taken plenty of photos, so with that in mind I went back to the photos the next morning and did some extensive research, looking at YouTube videos and reading articles and had another go. Still wrong! The CO gave me a hint as to how to work it out. It turns out I was massively overthinking it, and so third time around I managed to submit an acceptable answer. Thanks Rhinogeo for your patience and for the education. I enjoyed learning about this. I also appreciate a CO who won't let you log without a correct answer.

Nice day for a round of caching!

International Earth Cache Day 2023 and a souvenir is on offer... all you have to do is find and log an Earth Cache. First challenge... actually finding one on the map that "doesn't require a cut lunch" just to get there. After many years of caching, my number of "unfound" Earth Caches around Melbourne is dwindling... so today it was finally time to visit Royal Park. I chose to park in Poplar Road on the north side of the railway as that meant I didn't need to financial support Melbourne City Council... and strolled up to GZ. Found a suitable spot where I could make the required observations through the trees... I'm sure that they have grown a lot since this cache was published... but not enough yet to totally obscure the view! Thanks **Rhinogeo** for this cache...Answer has been submitted.

Another golden oldie on my list of caches to find today. It turned out to be a perfect winter day, and the zoo car park was full, but the freebies down the road were empty. So I opted for the extended walk, dodging the dodgy golfers. Gz was an interesting suprise. Answer sent.

I have managed to make quite a collection of earthcaches which i have visited and enjoyed but not got around to logging. This month i am determined to put that right and get my homework up to date.
I was in Melbourne last December exploring some of the sights and targeting a selection of caches from the vast array available. A walk in Royal Park was just the ticket on a beautiful sunny afternoon and the geopooch and i both enjoyed it immensely. A bit of that sun would be nice today!
Thanks for the fun stroll to this site, and the well thought out lesson. This area is such an asset for Melbourne, its great to explore here.

My wife and I don't tend to travel down to Melbourne from Brisbane all that often and we had last headed down here for a mini break back in March. It was therefore a surprise that we found ourselves here again so soon, travelling with my wife's Aunt and Uncle to visit some art exhibitions, a musical performance and the Lightscape display in the Botanical Gardens. With not much on the agenda today, my wife decided to join me on a meandering walk through the University, on to the cemetery and across to the zoo to catch a tram back to the city. Along the way I dashed off along the side of one of the fairways to reach GZ while my wife found a comfy seat at the tram station to wait for me. Although it was mid afternoon on a work day there were still some golfers playing through that I had to avoid to reach my destination. No problem making my observations at GZ and I safely made it back to rejoin my wife and continue our walk. TFTC

I found this earlier this month, but haven’t heard back from the CO. I was visiting a friend at Royal Park rehab and caught the train, so it was a small detour. I like learning from the earth caches! TFTC

25-Oct-22
Had a look at the rocks when I was visiting the area around the zoo some time ago. Got a clearance from CO to log.

08-Oct-22
I've been tempted to visit the location and answer the question a number of times, including during the Parkville Mega. I kept postponing in case there was a year that I didn't want to or couldn't travel too far during International Eartcache Day but still wanted to log one for the souvenir.
So, today was the day. A pleasant short walk from the zoo car park, an email to the CO and then a quick response.
Logging with permission.

04-Sep-22
I was at the zoo today on a bus driving job, so popped across the railway line to do this EC.
I don't profess to be very good at these, but I gave it my best shot and the CO gave me a pass, and a bit of additional info, so I'm wiser now than I was before.

Thank you Rhinogeo for this fascinating cache. You taught me something new, and like most new things, it took some time to grasp. Geology rocks!

After my conference in the City finished, I selected this area to collect a few geocaches.

After strolling along the rail line, I realised I had to cross onto this side. Almost got hit by a golf ball that went well over the green. Bit surprised that the guy, wrong on his score card and moved onto the next hole.

Answers sent to the CO, hoping I am correct.

Thanks for the cache Rhino Geo

21-Dec-19
Found this cache as part of Ilukaperi and my's quest to find as many "other" type caches as possible for 2019

This one was next on our list. A site I had visited before, but as with many things in my life, I had found myself on the wrong side of the tracks.

Today I was on the right side and the measurements were taken down meticulously and we were rewarded with a first time "ok" from the CO.

TFTC!

13-Oct-19
For International Earth Cache Day I of course had to go and get an Earth cache! My terrible sense of direction had stopped me from getting this many years ago, bu I got it this time. Thanks Rhinogeo for the Earthcache in this interesting area I never would have seen if not for this cache.

You learn something new every day! TFTC

Nice spot and lesson. TFTC and for bringing me here.

I visited the Royal Rocks Earthcache in December 2017 but mixed up my bearings and submitted an incorrect answer. I finally got back to scrutinising my images, rethinking the directions and re-submitted my revised answers. All good this time! Many thanks Rhinogeo for the geological lesson and an interesting Earthcache!

As we stood at the edge of the valley during the 2018 Mega, there were several other teams who were discussing answers in hushed tones, and even teams across the way waving back at us. Our team reached a tentative solution, noted it down, and then forgot to send off our answers to the CO enabling us to log anything.
Today (Eight months later), we happened to see we still had an earthcache symbol instead of the smiley on the map; so we sent off our notes, and got permission to log from the CO. Thanks Rhinogeo! Hopefully we can apply this new knowledge to other earth caches.

Interesting spot even on a late-night caching run. Another Parkville cache cleared!

Melbourne, Day 2: Capital City - Upfield - Moonee Ponds Creek Trails

Started off today by renting a bicycle to take me around the trails of the city. Bike shop opened at 10 am, and I was already waiting outside for a bike. Got what I needed and headed off down the Yarra to the route planned for today. Today’s weather was great for cycling and picked up plenty of caches along the way, most predominantly from the Parkville series. Thanks for all the caches put out for the occasion and the lovely little brain teasers, too.

The following is the specific log for each cache:
A nice and easy Earthcache, and a good revision of some geology that I had not used in a while. Very cool cutting and nice to learn a little About Melbourne’s geology. TFTEC!

Visiting Melbourne for my daughter's graduation ceremony for a degree at RMIT. Stayed in her apartment in North Carlton and walked to the city collecting a number of caches along the way A nice 20 kilometre walk.
An ordinary site until you read about the geology and take a closer look at the cutting, then WOW that is fascinating and interesting spot.
Alas I had not supplied the correct answer as I had misinterpreted the required response.
I then went and searched on goggle all about "apparent dip directions" and ended up totally confused after reading about angle and tangents and the like before concluding that the question was actually quite simple, so back to my photos and relying on my memory I came back with an an almost correct answer. Approval given by the CO to log.
Great spot and a favorite for me. TFTC.

Headed out tonight with Trailstevo on one of our Sunday evening walks. Covers around 10-11km tonight starting at Parkville and heading north along the train line. This was the last trail from the parkville series that we hadn't walked yet, not that we had found all the others. It just means that now we have a mess of scattered DNF's,unsolved puzzles, 1/2 done multi's etc... So a few more adventures to come yet. Thanks to all the CO's for there efforts with the hides and maintaining them. It was a very pleasant evening.

Today we visited Melbourne.

We initially tried this one as our first Earthcache back in 2008 but didn't have the nous to work out our dips from our strikes. A decade later and we were back for the Mega and had to give this one a crack again. Boy, the number of caches in Parkville have changed over time. Thanks for this classic. Logged with permission from the CO.

18-Nov-18
The Marble and I took a stroll up this wee hill on our last day at the Parkville Mega, dodging errant golf balls en route. Once at GZ we took some time to determine the required information, and google was indeed needed, and we definitely learned something. Not so many people on our side of the cutting though the other side seemed very popular. TFTC, Rhinogeo. =^.^=

During the MEGA-weekend I found this earthcache - thanks for showing me this place. Favorite-point given!

18-Nov-18
I must thank the CO for his patience and guidance of me with this earthcache. Geology is not really my thing. I have so few earthcaches that I thought I should do this one because I was so close at the Mega. Eventually I got there with the answers!

Apologies for the generic log below:

Away for the weekend with Freddo and Davidwazza to the Parkville Mega.
My first mega that I had attended and I had a really enjoyable time.
Some of the log books were signed with my name others were signed with just a G part of the group name, a combination of KBJGD.
We were happily joined by KB who was a machine finding a lot of the caches.
Thanks to the CO for all the placement of caches, the earyh caches answers will be sent in the coming days also.
We were very successful in finding majority of caches but some we DNF.
TFTC

Visited the cutting (from a safe distance) in the company of Bukkazoom67. We zoomed in on the dip direction, no train obscuring the vision. Answer sent to CO with thanks. An educational experience.

One last cache for the day as it had been a long day and I was tired. I wandered up the grass to GZ, noting that the cricket game nearby was continuing quite late. Once at GZ, I had a read of the description and had a look at the embankment opposite while a train or two went past. In my exhaustion addled brain, I got my directions wrong and sent off inaccurate answers but after some short messages from the CO, I finally gave an answer they were happy with and was "authorised" to log this find.

Thanks for the earthcache Rhinogeo. This was find #3711. Please discover my trackable: MMGJ6B

Well its MEGA time again and plans were put in place with the FurfacesLL ladies for another weekend of fun and trouble Razz Had the company of one of the ladies just for the weekend however was lucky enough to have the company of FFLL#1 for the drive down, across the weekend, as well as a week in and around the Gippsland area. We attended a number of events, visited a number of Earthcaches, virtuals and a nice number of caches. Many challenges collected and many multis completed.

After finishing the AR cache, we wandered over to this one to learn about the difference between a dip and a strike. Answers submitted to CO and after some more educational lessons, approval to log has been granted.

Thanks for the Earthcache Rhinogeo and the ladies of FurfacesLL for another great caching adventure away from home Big Grin

Time for another adventure to attend the MEGA in Parkville VIC. Plans were made with Rapidlywild to work on all the puzzles around the area before the trip and head down to this event together. Lots of fun was had collecting all types of caches over the long weekend/week which included puzzles, multi's, earth caches, labs, trads and even a couple of virtuals for good measure, (think we may have to invest in an e-bike).

After doing the AR cache close by we thought we would go for a wander to see if we could do this one. Learnt at bit for this one. Answers were submitted to the CO via Rapidlywild and we eventually got the green light to log.

Thanks for the Earth Cache Rhinogeo and thanks Rapidlywild for the giggles and another great adventure.

Day 5 of our epic 12 day / 10 night trek to the Parkville Mega in Melbourne. Razz
The constant was my travel companions for the entire trip, - Anymules and S.A. Sewer Rats but we were joined by almost local cacher Bushfire once in Melbourne. Cool So to save space in the logs we usually just wrote our initials BABS to save space.
Today we spent the morning walking around the mega site doing the incredible Lab caches and then decided we would walk The Capital City Trail down to the Melbourne Star. Razz There were a couple with a bit of saddle soreness for the riding yesterday. Red Face

Anymules sent in the teams answers and received permission to log for us all. Smile

**Thanks Rhinogeo for this cache. ** Big Grin

Found with AndyB84. We discussed a few different options for answers before heading off to keep exploring the area.

Logging with permission from the CO.

Thanks for the cache.

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
I’m currently working on a Project-GC challenge to get the average word count on my logs over 200 words.
So please ignore the rest of this log as it is just nonsense and song lyrics.
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin' she, had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well, It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could hear the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' on the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful, when
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well I'm a-runnin' down the road try'n to loosen my load
I've got seven women on my mind
Four that want to own me, two that want to stone me
One says she's a friend of mine
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand, and take it easy
Well, I'm a standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
Such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford
Slowin' down to take a look at me
Come on, baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
We may lose and we may win, though we will never be here again
So open up I'm climbin' in, so take it easy
Well, I'm a runnin' down the road tryin' to loosen my load
Got a world of trouble on my mind
Lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover, she's so hard to find
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy
Come on baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
Oh, we got it easy
We oughta take it easy

**This was 1 of 21 caches that was found by me on the 4rd of 16 caching days here in Australia. Which also was the 41st of 75 days that my travels thru southeast Asia and Oceania would last.**

In the project find as many caches as possible in one day we had now reach the 6th one. That we reach after walking an little detour around the cricket field.
I must admit that I never have seen so much sandstone in my life than I have seen during the travels here in Australia. Back in Sweden granite and gneiss are much more common than sedimentary rocks.

The answers for us 4 did I send via Message center on November 17.

*Together with Ingabo, jsson and Sivun I would spend 16 days in Australia. Our journey started in Melbourne and ended in Sydney. After that I continued to New Zealand while the others headed back towards Melbourne.*
*All in all I did manage to find 250 caches, 9 types, 3 new months and many more statistical fillers.*

We're in town for the Parkville Mega, spending the afternoon EarthCaching now, and finding others in the process. This was a quick walk along the golf course from the station, interesting rock layers. TFTC...

This is a perfect example of making sure you read the cache page carefully.Heading towards GZ, get to the edge and we were not quite close enough. AARRGH! its on the other side. A walk down to the station, across and back up again. A good look at the rocks, I stood there, checked the GPS for the direction and quickly sent off an email to CO. I soon had a reply asking for clarification, as what I wrote was technically impossible. Whoops. I was able to rephrase what I meant and soon got the go ahead to log the cache.
I love how every earth cache I have done, (and many multis and trade as well) have increased my knowledge of this world we live in.
Thanks for the fun

Found this one while in the area for the mega event. Have emailed the CO my answers to the question. Thanks

AndyB84 and myself met up and ventured to the MEGA event together.
My 3rd mega event now. A great day out and got my first few LAB Caches too.

Answers sent to CO.
Met another team of cachers here. A pleasant young man named AddisonPascal, I wish him luck in his quest for 10 types in one day.

A bit of discussion was had at GZ about what the question actually meant and we hope we came to the right answer.

Thanks for the EC.

No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin' she, had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well, It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could hear the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' on the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful, when
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well I'm a-runnin' down the road try'n to loosen my load
I've got seven women on my mind
Four that want to own me, two that want to stone me
One says she's a friend of mine
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand, and take it easy
Well, I'm a standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
Such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford
Slowin' down to take a look at me
Come on, baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
We may lose and we may win, though we will never be here again
So open up I'm climbin' in, so take it easy
Well, I'm a runnin' down the road tryin' to loosen my load
Got a world of trouble on my mind
Lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover, she's so hard to find
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy
Come on baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
Oh, we got it easy
We oughta take it easy

Found whilst out and about at the Mega we will need to do some research and will email the answers when back in Adelaide. TFTC we enjoyed reading the log page but not sure we are any the wiser just yet when it comes to apparent dips!

We found Royal Rocks while waiting to setup for this weekends Mega.

I don’t know why I haven’t been here before but my first approach was the correct one by there was too many golfers around. My second approach was from the wrong side and then my final approach was the correct one

A very interesting read and a great bit of Melbourne history. A very good Earthcache, thanks

Thanks Rhinogeo for placing this cache and being a part of out geocaching adventure

Found this cache out with Sinornithosaurus the other day and got the answer checked Smile) Thanks for the science lesson and bringing us to this location !! #492

This cache took us to an area pretty obscure, and as a student majoring in Natural History I found this one interesting. TFTC

Much of what I know about geology comes from Earthcaches - I’ve done the ones at Heatherdale, Dights Falls, and Darebin Parklands before, and I’m starting to get used to the idea that there are Silurian rocks under Melbourne, covered with volcanic rocks in some areas. Dip is a new idea though and I hope I got it right. Snuck up here past the golfers on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Thanks

I had convinced Mrs frilk to come caching with me under the guise of taking the geo-pooch out for a bit of a run around,

We made our way to the GZ to collect the information...it strange how the golf course just ends and becomes part of an oval with no physical demarcation.

At the GZ I could see what the CO had explained in the cache description but translating that into something that I could readly understand was a bit more challenging.

I spent some time after the site visit investigating Dips and Strikes and it seems that my comprehension has translated into an answer worthy of the CO's approval to log. TFTEC.

I actually completed this Earthcache a while ago but struggled getting an acceptable answer! With many thanks to the CO for his patience and explanations I am allowed to log the cache, but I’m still not convinced I understand the concept

On the day we visited d_daily1106 and I couldn't work out the answer. Much research took place and we were no closer to the answer. Yep. We had over complicated matters. But with patience from the CO I can truly say I feel wiser and have gained some useful geological knowledge! Learning brings me much joy - albeit I am part of that generation that is all "TL;DR".

Having said that - I am also really excited about this geocache leading me to this golf course. I will most certainly come back here and fit a few balls. It is one of the reasons I really enjoy geocaching - always takes me to great spots.

Thank you Rhinogeo for your patience Smile

It is a good job I am not a geologist. Or a surveyor because I an always mixing up left and right and east and west. I do know my favorite rock is opal though. I seem to have trouble understanding earthcaches.

Apologies for the late log. My family were away on a trip to New Zealand so I planned a few evening excursions to cache after work. Today’s target was the inner north culminating with a night cache with a fellow cacher. I headed here straight from work in Frankston, made a few finds to the south and west and then decided to give this earth cache a crack. Made my way to the vantage point and spent a while puzzling at what I was looking at. With limited confidence I sent my answers off to the CO and it seems I had got close enough. My ninth find of twelve for the evening. Thanks for the earth cache Rhinogeo and for your prompt response to my message.

Before the visit at the Zoo, a short walk along the Metro i visites the layers. Thanks for the cache.

Rhinogeo must be sick of the terrible answers I give to his Earth Caches, but I'm learning and I got another ticked off the list. TFTC!

After attending the Stop Adani event at Royal Park with Diana8 (protest against proposed Carmichael coal mine), we went for a walk to find this cache, and managed to dodge the golf balls in the process! Answer sent to CO. TFTC.

Visited this earthcache with Julesc21 after a #stopadani picnic in nearby Princes Park. We had to avoid a couple of golfing parties, but they assured us we were quite safe in the trees, although given their skill level, we'd probably be safest in the middle of the green! (Their words, not ours!).
Answer sent to CO. TFTC

First day in Melbourne with the good wife (arrived late last night) so this morning was an opportunity to get out and find a few caches as I work towards a personal goal in caching.
The morning did not amount to a great number of caches but did result in me walking 13.5kms and still managing to locate a total of four caches and being back at the hotel in 2 hours with a fresh coffee.
Out for an afternoon walk and needed to stop by here, very informative cache, thank you for bringing me here today

Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache.
