Logs
This cache may have been muggled,I found the log on the northern steps on Wehl street side of Theatre . The log is almost destroyed by the rain. Sorry
[Found this one but only due to Tuckermaters log, many thanks. Suggest some maintenance regarding placement is required by owner which would be great, it's a good cache and worth the visit
Many thanks for the cache.]
Had trouble determining what the south wall was but found on the wall facing James St. A stick or stiff bit of wire is required to hook it out

Hi - you may wish to reattach magnet and replace at orignal coordinates, or change coordinates to where it is now? Refer log for location.
After extensive search of building we found it on the southern wall in air vent. The magnet was no longer on the cache - not sure where the magnet is. Left the cache where we found it. TFTC.
I have had 2 really good looks for this cache to no avail. Im sure Im in the right spot.

Attended a movie night lastnight at"Reels @ Wehl Film Society" had a great night out. Would highly recommend.
Took the oppurtunity to have a walk around the building.
Found the cache, it does need a little maintenance.
"Mainstreet" had been in operation for 22 years and folded nearly 3 years ago.
Wehl Street Theatre was never home to "Mainstreet", but was and still is home to Mount Gambier Theatre Group.
Our first find, good fun. Will certainly be continuing our hunt.

By the time I got to this one I was sick of DNFs, but it beacme obvious soon after arrival that it was going to be another one. Cheers. MODU.
We are visiting Mt. Gambier for a few days and found this one on our first day in town.
Moses on the move was looking where it could be. I found it on the ground. Needs magnet to be restuck.
We threw the caching in late in the afternoon as we were drenched. After dinner we came out to find a few more in the CBD as it was a lot quieter. I could hear some music coming from the theatre but the performers were oblivious to our efforts outside.
Thanks,
R - B

Nice old building, nothing on tonight (except caching). It was indeed an easy find.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
I was sure I knew where this was, but missed it on the first visit (which was in darkness with a dull torch). A second trip today yielded success though. Signed the log, took a geocoin, left nothing. TFTC.
Nice to get FTF in 2008!!! Well Well. Lovely spot and a neat sign that won't fade.
TFTC and clear skies from TeamAstro.
Found this one on our holiday trip on the way to Adelaide.

A quick find for a night cache - much easier without muggles around! Cheers Gav [1361]
Found with the rest of the Kiwis - doing some night caching in preparation for our record-breaking attempt. TNLN, Thanks
Neat old building. Great to see that it is still being productively used. Many thanks.
Ok, so we all know about i, dax and laziness when it comes to caching. So lazy that i, shonkylogic had to make a special trip to the Mount, just to ensure our names were duly entered in the log!
Ferretters made their first ever trip to the Limestone coast for an athletics meet in Mount Gambier. Caching was limited when the ferret-mobile's clutch died at about Meningie en the way down! Limped into Mt G, but were grateful for caches, like this one that we could walk to.

A wehhly easy cache indeed, but i, dax found it first. Only issue is that he couldn't find the pen, so he needs to go back sometime to actually write our names in the log!
I located GZ wehlly easy but there was wehlly lots of muggles around at 11.45am. So i had to wehlly use stealth to retreive it.

Found at 9.15am,
An easy find, The theatre was used for several years as a movie house, after the closure of the cinema in the Mount in the early 80's,
VHS tapes killed the cinema back then, but good to see that the cinema has returned.
Also used to go and see local plays and musicals at this venue - good memories
Thanks

Well, this is a first for Biggo, finding a cache while my GPS was still safe at home!

Thanks Rizzo for a nice easy micro, once again in a place I was thinking of putting one!!
Cheers, Biggo

Knew exactly where this one would be. Nice hide, and thanks for showing us an interesting place.
Was pretty sure we knew where this one would be when we pulled up and sure enough it was.
Yes, not all micros have to be hard, and thankfully they all aren't. TFTC
