Without a find in nearly one year and with the owner not having been online in more than double that perhaps it is time for this one to go; sad as this is a great spot for a cache.
I likewise had not read the previous logs until I parked on the road near GZ. Thought I might as well take a look soon as I was that close. My search also yielded nothing which is a shame as it is a nice spot for a hide.
Missed the previous logs. Definitely nothing there! Looks like a nice place to come back to though.
Had a quick trip for another cache it's been washed away since we found it previously here and it's not there anymore ;(
Nope. If it is under I gave it a 60-70% look, if it is not I gave it a zero look - too many people walking along to do any better.
Early morning cache while I was looking for another close by.
Nice spot, only a couple of muggle runners to avoid. Thanks for this cache (contents wet)

All the contents of this cache are soaking wet including log book and contents of all bags
Took advantage of the extra light provided today by daylight savings and had a go at this cache. Was exactly where I expected it to be given the hint. As ZoeGrace1 has pointed out, it is rather damp. I wonder how much I missed ZoeGrace1 by. TFTC!
Ahhh! Spent half an hour looking for this cashe and didn't find anything. Gps was telling be I was 3 feet away but could not find it!! What kind of container is it in?? Oh well, will try again later. Thanks!!
Running out of time and hadn't got my cache for the day.
Stopped here in Hobson Bay and went for a quick hunt. No trouble here and was soon signing the log. Had to wait for a family riding bikes to move further along the boardwalk. I also had a chat to a lady further round the boardwalk and she explained all the activity that is happening in the area. Nice spot & TFTC

Learnt from a geocaching couple that we met at the next cache that we should have got more down and dirty to find this one.
Found this within 10minutes of reaching the starting point. The clue was a good guide to point me in the right direction to where it was. Have logged my entry on the pad provided.
Even my friend the self-proclaimed local didn't know that this walkway existed. Pretty nice view, shame about the unfinished sewer, or a very dirty stormwater run-off?
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Yuck muddy! and cold but not raining. Left a nice German geocoin. Love this walkway and it was nice to see how far along the school construction is(seems finished) and the sewer demolition is (couldn't see any yet). GINO TFTC
Damn, those joggers appear out of nowhere! Got caught hanging around a couple of times trying to look nonchalant. Finally picked my moment and soon had cache in hand. TFTC
1.04pm. Easy find as the walkway was deserted today.

The eighteenth of 21 on what proved to be a very tough day. I think that I walked at least 30 km today. TFTC
2095 Nice quick find, fortunately little muggle foot traffic to worry about, which is surprising on such a lovely day. TFTC
Nice quick find late at night, Shame the tide was out as i suspect it would be a neat view on a high tide. TFTC.
Quick search and cache soon located. Lovely day today so nice to be in this area. SL TFTC
Neat walkway I never knew existed. Boy has St Kents changed since I was there! TFTC!
Thanks for the replacement cache. My first attempt at this one so glad it is active now. TFTC, Biggles.
Quick Find now that the container has been replaced (Thanks Dossman). Was exactly were I thought it should be. TFTC
I thought I'd have a quick lunchtime look. Nice and easy find, just where I thought it should be. Thanks for the replacement.
************CACHE HAS BEEN REPLACED*************
dossman has helped out and placed a new container so it is now active and ready for cachers to find

Based on the DNF logs and discussions between fellow cachers, who have checked this site on more than one occasions, this cache is gone. Noticed the owners have not logged into their profile since April 2008 so will not be responding to maintenance requests. Can this please be archived to free up the site for other cachers?
I agree with Gadget-Tron. There are only a couple of obvious and a couple of lesser places for it to be. Can this be checked by the owner, please?
This one is definitely not here. There is only 2 places it can be based on the clue, location, size and GPS reading. Can the owner please check GZ and confirm? Thanks

Nope. This one has us stumped too. Even more confusing is that 2funnykiwis found it after so many DNF's and we still couldn't find it after thinking it must have been replaced!
May need someone who lives close by to check out as owner hasnt been online since last year & is unable to be contacted by email. If not, may need archiving, so the area can be freed up to ones like me
Looked hard - no sign - could see where it would logically be. Suggest a check please.
Not sure what we were doing wrong but couldn't seem to find it. Strangely my 3 and 4 year olds were of no assistance to me. Enjoyed lunch sitting on the nearby seat. Will try again at some stage.
A lot quieter with the path closed, A nice spot at high tide, I have always been meaning to walk around here.
#596. Quiet night cache with soft music drifting over from the other side of the water. Lovely. Unfortunately, The King Penguin TB was not in the cache.

Nice spot and easy find. Fine walk even with the reconstruction around. Thanks a lot!
Found in the company of Kiwicouple who had found this one a couple of weeks ago. I stopped to log the find, while they continued along the boardwalk. The rain came down shortly after, so last find for the day.
Found on a drizzly Saturday afternoon. Looks like a nice boardwalk, but we will have to return next summer to complete the walk. Nice quick find. Thanks for showing us this area.

Lucky we chose to park where we did as it saved us a bit of a walk . Easy find as the co-ords were spot on TNLNT4TC.
Nice easy cache on a cool Summer evening. But some of the walkway is closed so come from the Eastern end of the path. TFTC
Great spot. Should note that the cache might only be accessible Sundays and public holidays till mid '09 due to construction work. tftc
That was an amazing walk down that boardwalk. Mangroves and swamp, reminded me of Brisbane. Our final cache of five while holidaying in this amazingly beautiful country of yours.... It has been 2 weeks and we will definitely be back to holiday here some more in the future. Many thanks.
Back again today a bit red-faced as we found the other end of the walkway which now appears may well be open and not be part of the closed part. So perhaps instead of a warning about it only being open on a Sunday, maybe suggest people park at eg S36.51.956, E174. 48.285. TFTC
Didn't get the chance to do this one as the boardwalk is closed except for Sundays - perhaps a temporary note could be placed on the cache page unitl it reopens - that way other cachers won't go out of their way for no reason. We may attempt again tomorrow (Sunday) if we are out that way.
Found it without too much trouble after a bit of misguided searching in the vicinity. Boardwalk open late Saturday afternoon.
A very pleasant walk across mangrove. I was lucky to be here on Sunday when the walkway is open No problems with cache (or muggles).
Found this about a month ago, however only just found the scrap of paper that I wrote the names of all the caches I found on that day.

Quick find. Nice walkway. Tried to continue and do the other cache on the walkway, but it is still closed.

was a little worried when I saw the workmen working in the area, but the cache was still accessible.
Found while reminiscing over my old school days at St Kents. Wish they would stop cutting down trees to make way for buildings though!
This was a good walk in the rain. No muggles as it was far too wet for them. TFTC LNSL
My very first Geocache ever. Nice spot. Left a Geocoin with destination Germany.

Here's me thinking there'd be no muggles with the track closed furher down - wrong! Not a problem though as he moved through pretty quick, before I got to GZ. Hadn't been down this walkway before although drove past the end of it every day for 5 years! Dropped HAG geocoin. T4TC
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 10:45am. This was a lovely walk from where we parked to GZ. An easy find and log. TFTC
Bit worried when I saw the signs that this walkway will be closed off except for Sundays and public holidays.
We were in town attending the Flash Mob event and thought we would do a few ( 18)
Easy find after we walked from the other nearby one

3.30pm. Initially worried that the track may have been closed due to the extensive construction taking place in the vicinity. However only closed at NE end - still open at Shore Road end.

As others have noted, I also had that deja vu feeling. This was the site of my very first cache find - willbuild's "Swamp View" (archived and removed 2 years ago).

Kids were getting tired by now, last cache of the day, so we took the short route.
Great cache.
Great cache.
Parked in the Garden Centre carpark with the workers eyeing me up. Ah well, I was only going to be a few minutes. Had to wait for a muggle to disappear before putting my hands on the container.

Easy find to get us back into the swing of geocaching after a break to complete house renovations.
We'd been down here before after another cache but still good to revisit again.
