With time running short on my little trip out west I wanted to grab a few more before I had to head back home. This was a quick find, and I couldn't resist pausing to take in the views. There are some really amazing spots along this drive (hence the name, I guess!). TFTC! #963

The view to this side in the darkness is not really visible - that's my revelation tonight

I was really heading to Piha, but this didn't stop me from a slight detour to get this cache. TFTC.
Today Mrs Biggles and I decided to drive from one end of the Scenic Drive to the other. it's been a few years since either of us did that. We managed to find a few caches along the way. More stunning views from here which we have been enjoying all along this drive. All good with the cache here. TFTC, Biggles.
A car was parked near GZ, but it looked empty when I walked past. Rookie mistake, as I was about to discover on my return, only to spot the driver and passenger sitting in the back seat. Hmm already too late! The cache was not in the obvious, but the next obvious, well concealed and a simple hide too. Amazing views, thanks for the cache
Stopped off on our way along scenic drive getting the new series! Quick find! Tftc
Just took as a bonus on the way back home from a series of cache huntin.TFTC FMZ.
A little side detour whilst grabbing the new series along scenic dr. Great spot. TFTC
Just when you think there will be nowhere to park, ohh right there ! Nice quick park & grab. Thanks.
Clever hiding place. Originally thought it was gone as there is a space where you think it should be.
Originally found with my partner Witchegurl.

On my way to a loop walk in karekare regional park..a bit early so thought I would sneak in a few caches..nice view here, bit of a scary turn if someone missed it! Cache found ok, post damage nearby..would have been a close call..thanks!

Picked up on our first drive of the holiday on the way to the Arataki Centre and Manukau Heads
Found ... Mrs McMike2012 & I had decided that we would go for a walk in the Waitakere Ranges today ... picked an area that had a loop track & a couple of caches ... as we were going to be passing thru here on or way to the loop track ... we parked nearby & soon had this cache in hand. TN:LN:SL. TFTC. The 3rd of 7 for the day. #807 for us.
#351. An even easier cache with parking just metres away. Good hint made the find straightforward. The view is nice but doesn't match that at the nearby Antenna cache. TFTC
couldn't find cache in the given clues obviously someone has removed it or thrown it into the bushes deep
Found it thought it was going to hard but guessed where it was. Our pen wouldn't work for log book. Good hide!
Late at night found this, why? Who wants to go home when there are caches to be found! The more the merrier I say!
A plan was hatched last night to make an attempt on "Holey Mercey" cache in Piha with Nova and HPG, so we turned it into a day adventure and found some caches on our way up and on the way home.
Quick find while getting a few caches on the way home, hint led us straight to the cache.

Out on a caching mission with Novalightning and HKCB to knock off Holey Mercy. Of course we couldn't ignore the other caches in the area so we left Hamilton early to get in a full days caching.
On the homeward journey now, definitely some great views here thanks

A nice quick find after a large day caching in the area. Thanks for showing me all around.

A big thank you to all the geocache owners for being our “tour guides” in New Zealand while we are on our short holiday visit to this extraordinarily beautiful country! We traveled the North Island in our little camper van and we came across minimal damaged caches and we only had very few DNF’s.
"Groete" all the way from South Africa!

What a great spot...just a pity most people fly by without bothering to stop and take in the view...
cheers V.

A nice quick find after work this afternoon. Nice view from here. Cheers for the cache placement!
Great views out over the Manukau never seen it from up here before awesome thanks for showing me this. The cache was quick to find with the good clue and good gps signal.
Out and about in the Waitakere's this morning to pick up a few caches. Nice views and a nice easy park and grab. Thanks for the cache!
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.

There were muggles having a smoke when we arrived but fortunately they moved on. Quick find after that. TFTC

A quick find and a nice view. I do think that the hint should be changed though due to some graffiti. TFTC FMZ
A quick park and grab while in the area in the morning before heading home. Had to wait for some cyclist muggles to move on before I made an attempt. Great view.
Thanks!
Thanks!
a bit of mine clearing... whoops i mean cache clearing in the area on my way back from a bit of west coast camping... easy find now ive seen it a few times, still needed a gentle tap to leave its house though, and a nice view too;-)
had a laugh at the dates for the previous two logs - seems we are using all the same numbers, just new order.. how bout that

Easy to find and thanks for the new roll of paper. Part of the clue has been painted over -that's ok. TFTC
Great hide - logbook disintegrated, so photo uploaded instead!
Easy for me to hide while cars are going past - its quite busy here!
Didn't even have to lock the car to get this one

A very wet log here! But made our mark and moved on. Good clue had it in hand pretty quickly. Thanks.
Quick cache and dash with WelshGirl77 and SquishyD after taking some family visitors to the nearby visitor centre.
The LB was in bits and a little damp, but I was still able to to sign it.

Easy find. although the hint is made black and not vissible anymore. Logbook is overwet and can't write properly on the logbook anymore. Just found a spot free to scrabble MarMis down.
Cache and dash on the way back from Piha. Took a bit of searching even with hint given that a the slight twist on what we would normally consider. Log was damp but no issues in recording visit - although is slightly falling apart and difficult to put back in container.
Our last cache of the day and it took us a little while. We were just running out of places to look and about to call it a day when Daddy Fraggle came up trumps. TFTC
took us awhile! dont know why! log book was pretty damp. but a nice find and nice view =

More of a "DID NOT ATTEMPT". Thought better of stopping next to the marked patrol car, with uniformed police in attendance.
Moved onto next cache, and forgot to return.

Another nice and easy drive-by on our way to Goldies. Awesome views from here! TFTC!
Excellent drive by cache! Great clues! Needs new logbook though. It's disintegrating. Tftc.
a rainy morning - ideal for geocaching.

Unfortunately the clue has been erased from GZ (allthough part of it was still visible). Great hide , our favourite of today. TFTC
Our no 595! Very clever and even though the hint is painted over it is quite clear where it relates to. Were out enjoying the sun and views like the rest of Auckland, seemingly. NINO TFTC
