I drove past this one the onther day and the GZ has been removed. I had a look for the original GZ to see if it had been placed nearby for storage with cache atached but couldnt locate.
I'm pretty sure this one is well and truely gone. Construction zones on either side of GPS GZ. GPS points to a hole in the ground where I suspect an object matching the hint stood with the cache attached to it (object can be seen in google maps).
Security guard walked with us, stopping when we stopped, so we had to make out we were looking at the new constructions in the area. Gave up as he kept watching us. Will attempt another day.
Quick and easy find - lots of construction going on, it looks like a new events centre (going to look good when done) TFTC
Nice Idea...fast found

On my trip around the world I first visited the States, travelled from there to Australia and continued my trip in New Zealand.
Right now I'm a few days in Auckland. While walking through the town I see a lot and can also find some caches.
Geocaching can take you to spots you would never visit and so I used my trip to find some caches in every state and country.
Thank you for this cache and greetings from Germany

During an awsome 4-week hiking trip into the Garden of Eden we stumbled into this one! Thanks for this cache, greetz from NL , Ro & Jet
Second Geocache done ! It took two looks to find it, very clever disguise, unfortunately no Americas cup History wall to look at any more, area abit of a construction zone at the moment.
Easy find lots of muggle workmen about. So I put my invisible cloak on and performed the deed
Still looking for invisible cloak must have left at GZ so if you find it please send to me

I would think that security might know about this one, they could hardly fail to notice it's so close.
Nice easy find by Feathertop.
Thanks, Robmc.

Log was wet but fun find on a quick trip down to Auckland. Love these types of caches! TFTC.
Nice one, I'm wanting to hide the same sort of cache, just looking for a good spot

Hubby found this one I was looking at it and touch it hehe. This one needs a new log book. TFTC
I can remember the cup back as far as KZ7 days and also followed the 1995 series which was awesome. We can but hope that one day we might win it back again. No trouble finding the cache as you have taught us well with your Nelson hides. TFTC
Note: Log now full.

Was last around this area during party season for the cup - a bit quieter now. Still plenty of seriously expensive yachts to look at on the way.
Quickly spotted what could be it. Only the guard around this time so felt a little more confident. Soon had it signed TFTC
Enjoyed this cache site and the cache was in great shape! Thanks for bringing us here.
23 March 2010. Loved the walk from the hotel to this cache. Many runners this evening which made the walk all the more interesting. Found the cache with no problem as I've seen a few like it back in the states. Great location for a cache with a great view as an added benefit. It was worth the walk. TFTC. SL.
Working for BMW oracle racing, and our recent winning of the 33rd americas cup inspired me to find this one. Seen the container style before so an easy find. T4TC
PS Congrats to Team NZ on winning the Louis Vuitton trophy today

Wrong time of day. I still fell nervous about looking around. Lots of muggles going in and out. Guard on duty. Keen to go back
Legendary! If the magnets were less strong we would have found sooner as we had quickly prodded the cache early on in our search. Lots of muggles back and forth. our #269. NINO TFTC
Road works on GZ, the workers were very busy, took my clipboard, got the tape meter out and looked busy as well [:o)]
measured, wrote something, measured again drew a plan, made a phone call and left. In between I sign the log TFTC

Found on a lovely Sunday cycle around the viaduct. Nice hide. The guard was there but I think he's getting used to seeing odd looking people wandering around with GPS's and didn't pay us any attention. TFTC
Just realized that I wrote 27th of feb in the log book when it is in fact the 1st of March... ha ha - sorry! Anyway... super quick find, but a great spot. Just very lucky fast find this time, but wonderfully placed Thanks!
Security guard was at his post, came out to see what I was doing, so I pulled the standby "meeting a friend".
After waiting a while, sat down to wait. Wrote something on a bit of paper, then got bored and left.

Who took it off the seppos? After 132 years!! The competition seems to be a bit crazy at the moment. Bring back the 12m rule. Although it always was pretty crazy. I loved the old time rule about having to sail your craft to the event.
A nice find whilst waiting to catch my ferry to Gt Barrier. Incredible how a cache like this can go undetected when blatently presented in full view for everyone. A very easy find - but only because I knew what to look for!

We saw this hiding method some times before, so it was no problem to find it. Always amazing...
Thank you for the cache and greetings from Germany, kesteri

Finally found this one after a few visits. Had an idea what we were looking for after seeing the same camo in Hamilton. Yippee.
Thanx for this fine cache. It was our first one here in NZ (and of course not the last, I hope...)
At the end of a fine trip that we spent with friends, this just made our day.

Was heading North for a few hours of caching and this one popped up in view so decided to give it a go. Nice quick easy find to get us going for the day. TFTC
A wander over in this direction to kill an hour met with success. Had a good laugh watching some hula girls freezing in the drizzle dancing for some function. TNLN Thanks.
Last cache of the day (#30). Walked around the corner and took a sharp intake of breath !!!! 'oh no', spied the cache, and two security guards standing outside having a smoko break in the same instance. What would you do, the adrenaline starts to pump through your veins, all of a sudden those tired legs have a new lease of life. Decided I wasn't leaving empty handed. Snaffled the cache, slipped out of site to sign then replaced while lingering to 'talk on the phone'. Went past again on Saturday morning and had a smirk all over my face as I looked to see that all was well . SL 1800hr TFTC
I was beginning to search..but a security agent go out and look at me...so I stopped to search...
Last find for the night caching in the city. Parked next to GZ and immediately spotted the expected hide. We like these ones - easy when you know what you are looking for, and virtually invisible to muggles. Thanks.

Had loaded up the gps with the idea we might grab a few on a quiet Sunday morning in the city after we dropped geodaughter off for the ferry to the Barrier where she is camping for a week. The weather gods decided that wasnt to be, so just a quick grab in the end to cross the date off before we retired to a favourite Posonby Rd cafe for a strong coffee.
Easy find and spotted the cache from parking at 37m as we exited the car. TFTC

Had a small domestic as one party (Me) was positive the cache was to be found on obvious object - the other party (Him) didn't want me destroying property... all was resolved when I SHOWED him that all was as per TWS normal and the CCTV has it on record. T4TC
Quick and easy find. Having seen a similar hide last week this was spotted as I approached. Thanks.
1136 Spotted cache immediately as approaching, used geomutt to cover up what we were up to! TFTC
Unfortunately, couldn't figure this one out at night. However, we stumbled upon the Fish Market's night market (Thursdays) - yum!
Wasn't quite sure what I was looking for here, but soon saw a suspect object and managed to retrieve it with security paying much attention. Cheers Gav [4367]
SECOND ATTEMPT-KNEW WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS TIME & WENT STRAIGHT TO IT-LOVE THESE ONES!NOT TOO MANY MUGGLES -TFTC
Faaaaar too many muffles and security muffles at 1630 today Will try again on another visit
No Timeline History on the wall nearby, but we did walk all along the front of the docks and read the plaques - beautiful day and since we have seen a couple of these in California, it was a quick find.
TFTC - beautiful winter day in Auckland.
