I don't think I have ever stopped in Temuka before. Today, I put things right with a stroll to stretch the legs on a day where I am doing a lot of driving. For the second cache attempt in a row, I found myself on the wrong side of an uncrossable fence. After relocating, I was soon able to make the find.
In Timaru for Mr14s football tournament. Staying in Temuka.Staying nearby, came out for a walk. Thanks.
Might come back another time with some friends, maybe an extra set of eyes or two will find it
Cache 1625 headed to Christchurch for a mini caching holiday this was a must do cache on my list! This cache is a needed hidden month not that Ill probably ever complete my Jasmer grid but hey Im sure going to fill it in the best I can This cache was a quick find when on the correct side of the fence sadly though the cache needs maintenance I have thrown in some RITR paper strips to hopefully keep this older cache going but a new logbook is definitely needed T4TC
Found cache. But in very bad condition, couldnt write in log as saturated.
Found once on the correct side of fence, needs some maintenance as it's very wet
Avenging a dnf many years ago when on wrong side of fence. All quiet here nightine
Walked from shoe one and didn't bring bag so don't have a spare logbook to place. Wouldn't recommend coming here soon, residents parked nearby are a bit scary not sure if shouting me or each other as passed them
Approaching gz I spotted two young children navigating toward the cache with a cellphone. Like me they approached from the wrong side of the high fence, I suggested a likely nearby hint object and they raced me there. "Libby" spotted the cache from about 15m, (really fantastic eyesight) and quickly prepared the log for signing. Unfortunately, the log was very wet so it was more a case of etching than signing; TFTC
Found it! May been a bit of a check up though looks like a it of water got to the pen and book
Easy find. Unfortunately it had been placed upside down and has become very wet. The log book is saturated. Nice location . TFTC
Great find...not 200m from my favorite spot to fly my FPV drone...have walked past it too many times to count. Could do with a new log book as still soaked from the flood. Will look at replacing it next time I pass. Carl - ReBrickedFPV
Found, log book very wet though.
Hard work trying not to be suspicious with campers right beside it haha tftc

I also arrived on the wrong side of the fence. A short 30m detour north got me around the fence, and the cache was then a quick find.
Went for a stroll found gz or close to it GPS on phone bouncing around a bit. But I think I was on wrong side of fence and with the summer tents close to fence and shrub I thought better not get too close. Will visit another time.
Took a stroll after lunch in the domain, using a phone with no compass which is a trifle difficult. Got on the wrong side of the fence first, then zeroed in on a tree... we didn't scratch around so it could be under the leaf litter, but we didn't spot anything.
Walked the long way but found it all the treats were gone but left something for the next lucky hunter
Well. This took far far longer than it should have. Visited the parents at the holdiay park and went for a stroll to find this cache. Unfortunately its a long way round the fence line if you find yourself on the wrong side.
Like most previous hunters, we approached this one from the walking track only to find the hide was on the other side of the fence so Tui took flight and landed on the right side while I directed him to what I thought was the hide and sure enough, there it was! This was another pleasant park area and I loved the beautiful blossom trees all in full bloom. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
Nice easy find a year after we last found it. Trackable not in the box as it was supposed to be ️
Had migrated a little - perhaps continental drift?
Left a purple dino tb for next traveller to carry away

I chose to grab a few caches on the way back to the motel tonight starting in Temuka. I was on the wrong side of the fence initially so had to loop back to get to the other side and grab the cache. Tftc
On a geocaching adventure around the country with myself, my car and my tent. Drove almost 4000km and collected 170 caches over a week of roadtripping, camping and seeing the beautiful sights of New Zealand. Lots of fun and so many great caches were found, as well as a lot of DNF's. Apologies for copy paste post. Thank you to all cache owners. Day eight driving from Temuka to Hanmer Springs. Thank you for the cache
Nice easy find, saw it on the other side of the fence,so around we went.
TFTC and we left a geocoin travel bug that we brought over from Melbourne.

We were in Dunedin for the weekend - celebrating the little bros graduation.
On the drive home, we had a stop here with the whanau.
Baby girl had woken up, and I was hoping there would be a playground for her to have a good stretch of the legs for the drive home!
Turns out we were at the wrong end for the playground - but we did find the cache here!
A pretty easy find once we were in the right spot on the right side - it was figuring that bit out which was the tough part!!
TFTC!!

One last stop before the final stretch home! It was getting a bit chilly too. TFTC!!!
Very glad the caravan owner parked near gz was away as there's signs of a large dog being there usually. What a racket that would have been. Fortunately all clear so quick find once I worked out which side of the deer fence I needed to be on. Thanks for the hide.
Lovely sunny day for a wee stroll. GPS on phone was a bit jumpy but after coming back round to the right side of the fence it was a nice quick find. TFTC
Great wee find. We forgot a pen as new to this game. Thank you so much. We rehid as we found it after sealing it all up. This one was nice and easy for the kids
