I'm "performing maintenance" on this archived cache only to remove it from my "needs maintenance" filter. Don't chase after this one! It's not back in action.
Bye bye buddy!
Perhaps a southerland cacher might like the spot; I will give it a breather before I try again in this area.

Fore!'s geocaching secretary reporting for duty: this cache is not currently accessible due to fences and in fact I think the hide has been removed...Fore! has been informed and will have to decide if it's going to be replaced in a slightly different spot or archived....
Friday 27 June 2014 - another cold breezy winter's day with the sun struggling to squeeze through the fluffy white and grey clouds. Another afternoon stroll to exercise while there's still reasonable weather before the rain starts again. Quick and easy find. Thx p2p. TFTC.
Today is a niceish day at the moment, and it's Saturday. I've been a bit crook, and a bit depressed because yesterday was the first anniversary of my wife's funeral. I'm not wasting a nice day for Geocaching, particularly in view of my aim to reach 1000 finds before my first Geocaching anniversary.
The GeoSchnauzers are looking appealingly at me as I pack my Geocaching kit. C'mon, GeoSchnauzers!!! They need a walk, and they're getting used to short parks and grabs. That's all I'm intending to do today, because my mate Knightech is doing some home maintenance, and I'm going to give him a hand. At the start of today, I'm on 703. This is number 1 of 12 I found today. .
This was supposed to be a quick park and grab, with GeoSchnauzers in attendance.. It wasn't. My GPS had trouble setlting, but I eventually found the artifacts pointed to by the clue. No cache. Knowing Fore! to be a golfer, I figured the cache was attached to the inner artefact. It wasn't. There was no sign of the cache around the outer artefact, so I figured it was inside it, along with a lot of water. I poked around with my walking stick, with o luck. I marked it for maintenance in my GPS, and went
after other caches. I passed this one again after a few finds, and decided t have another look. I eventually found it on the ground a few feetfrom the aFore!mentioned artefact. So I logged it and put it back where it was supposed to live. The cache and log are fine!! Thanks for this one, t was fun.

Found on an afternoon drive. Took a while to locate, but so obvious once found. TFTC.
Here with ScruffyBlake, Charli_Bear & Me_to. Charli_Bear found one sodden piece of paper in the car park near the location we had a search but no Cache in the area looks like it's been taken. We have the sodden piece of paper if the owner would like it.
Poor cache is missing. Found sodden log. Needs maintenance.
Found with The S's Me_to and Charlie_bear.

mankycat and me had a crack at this cache last year without success, for some unknown reason I never returned to have another go.
But today I did and this time with success.

Wrong side of the fence so I didn't understand the hint but found it in the end
This threw us a bit when we arrived at GZ but the divide-and-conquer technique worked well with one of us on each side of the fence. How did you know what was there, Fore!? A little rainy this morning. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
A quick drive-by cache. I have played golf at this club before, but that was long ago. Nice hide! Thanks.
Found on a super hot 39c summer afternoon.
Parked just nearby so didn't have to walk far. TFTC

A quick drive by. Found easily but on wrongside of the fence. Got over the otherside and signed log and then iff home to our new humble abode. TFTC. Good camouflage and nice hide.
Today was just a day of mainly simple caches around Canberra, hoping for some quick finds. This one took a long time to find. I attempted from one side without success, then tried the other. I was almost at the point of giving up, but persistence paid off, and the well hidden cache was finally found.
My thanks to Fore! for the cache.
My thanks to Fore! for the cache.
We awoke early this morning to be confronted with overcast skies and drizzling rain but we were determined to get a few cache before going to the Mapping our World exhibition at 12.00
We were here about 9.30 and not too many were obsessed at all so we were able to park close to gz and were very happy when the cache was in hand quickly and our names added to the log.
More cars were arriving as we left, the rain wasn't going to deter them from their objectives.

#1057 - 17:10; Dropped the geobride at the nearby shopping outlet and decided to pick up the daily cache while I was in the area. This one grabbed my attention as an opportunity to clear another by this CO from the 'to do' list. There was a game of baseball in full swing (pardon the pun) nearby judging by the crowd noise, but the area around GZ was all quiet. After placing myself on the wrong side of the fence initially, the cache was spotted and the retrieval made. TFTC Fore!
I was here ages ago in my early days of geocaching and struggled to spot this one. I returned today and nailed it within moments. The clue was good. Thanks.
Found this a while ago,
Thought I’d update my finds only a few weeks late
Very well hidden fun search

Thought a quick one on way to collect geowife - it all about the approach vector. Sneaky hide. TFTC
Approached from the right side but I sent the mr to the wrong side only for him to discover it on my side. TFTC
Always the lovely trees changing colour in the act at this time of year but my hands frosted up while writing this brr
This was the second find today. The weather still seemed gloomy when we pulled up at the cache. We originally approached from the wrong side but the cache was spotted quickly, and with a small amount of legwork retrieved. TFTC Fore!
careful around the fence when you retrieve this, got a good scratch across my thumb :V nice cache though, tftc
151 I needed to test my new geo-mobile so I took a drive out to South Canberra today to show the new car to my brothers and dropped by here to pick up the cache. My brothers and I used to visit the mini-bike track that was here. We had a Honda 50 and had lots of fun on the tracks and jumps - glad to see that it's kept its sport theme... The tricky part about this cache for me today was avoiding the many muggles driving in and out, so I stood around talking into the gps like it was a phone. You get better at doing this after a while I've found haha. TNLN TFTC Fore! another interesting spot.
Quick easy pickup. Pen still there and it is a cute one.
Thanks Fore! The cache

Find # 4985 on my trek to 5k in the ACT.
First night here and in just a couple of hours I had to go bush,
up hills, in a forest & to a strip club too, and mainly searching for micros.
This time I decided I needed to make use of some resources and a retrieval tool.
It helps to look in the dark when there is not much traffic around too.
TFTC Fore!, always a pleasure looking for your caches,
Roostaman.

This was found but not able to be retrieved from its hidey hole. Needs something to help the geocachers out here. JenneG & Budgy
Well...........If anyone was wondering why nobody has found this for a while. May I suggest that it
was because it had moved such a long way (30cm) that torch and tools were required for sighting and extraction. All fixed now. More of a challenge than I expected. TFTC.

We found 12 caches yesterday with justz_1, we are on the way home & thought 'we haven't done any caches today', so we did a quick search & this was the closest traditional, a quick find, now home for tea.
A quick cache at lunch, not sure why I haven't done this one before... Not like I haven't been in the vicinity once or twice!!
It took more than one visit to find this cache. The arrow on my google map was a little off (the other side of the fence for one) and the clue misled me. But all's well, I have now found and logged this. TFTC.
Grabbed this one today on the way home from shopping. Almost could not recover it from its hide as it had been placed quite low. Now I have long thin fingers but still had to resort to borrowing some twigs from a nearby plant to assist!

Another great little Fore! hide. I always wondered where the mini golf place was. TFTC!
We thought we would grab this feller on our way back to the shop and we did. A neat hiding spot. Thanks for the new log. TFTC. Cheers
Cache located quickly, log full, so I place a new log and it's ready for the next finder. TFTC
found that the co-ords were a bit off for me. Wasn't too hard with the clue. There were a lot of syringes and syringe boxes around. Be careful
Used the "McIver" tool in my caching bag to recover the container. Log is completely full. There are nasty items at ground level, so pay attention to the hint. TFTC.
I was unable to write find in log as container was further down and unable to reach, also be aware that there were needle boxes and syringes on the ground at ground zero could be dangerous for little ones
return via Gippsland. After tracking down some more details for some of the Great Aussie Icon Hunt caches, we cached in parts of Canberra but mainly in Symonston. The day started quite foggy but cleared to a really good autumn day. However in mid afternoon the blacks clouds rolled in and an electrical storm resulted in a temporary stop to our activities. Then it cleared again until sunset. Today has been a very variable weather day.
Thanfully there were few people using this facility when we arrived and we had the area of the carpark closest to the road to ourselves. We quickly narrowed down the area of GZ and began to search. We were a little taken back when we came across an injecting pack - opened and contents scattered. We had to leave it there as we didn't have any potective gear but we cleared other things away so that the problem items could be easily seen and stick injury was very unlikely. After a few minutes the cache was located in a very good hide. TFTC Fore!

337. CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION to future searchers. The black plastic container, approx 20 x 10 x 5 cms laying in the garden bed close to GZ is not the cache. It contained plastic teaspoons and insculin??? syringes so please take care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The cache was located off the ground in what i believe to be its correct hide. Despite not becoming obsessed with anything here, I still enjoy the hunt. TFTC.
Nice easy grab...
Amazing how I have driven past this one many times going for a hit of golf at the near by driving range.

Found without too may problems. If you are going with Geo-kids just be careful as we came across quite a few needles.
Yet another classic Fore! location. A quiet spot today on Good Friday. Found with Cleared For Takeoff who made the dash from the geo-bug and went straight to it, back to the sanctity of the car for signing the log. Unfortuntaly we didn't stop for a bucket of balls at the nearby driving range, maybe next time. Thanks for the ongoing challenges Fore!
Took as a while to find and the girls had a lot of fun with the spiders on of which somehow ended up in our car when we went to leave. Gave them all a nice fright.

Missrenae saw a spider and thought this was one of those fake spider caches until i pointed out that it was in fact a real spider and then the screaming came.
Cheers mate!

Spiders Galore !!
If anyone has seen the fake spider caches out and about
you would think this one has been set up on the fence but no.
This spider on the fence was in fact real !
I have never squealed so loudly until this spider came for me !!
and thank you to the non welcome spider that made its way into my car
you were soon squished by Da Phoenix
Thank gosh ... TFTC Good Hide : )

We keep meaning to come down here to slog a few balls off the tee but are yet to make it down. Funny that it was a cache that finally got us here! All in good condition and a neat little hide. TFTC
Super Cacherday Afternoon in Canberra! 50 finds. Signed log: TNGD. TFTC!
We played golf, ate chipies and drank lemonade. The we found this cache! Thanks for the cache. Raspberry Moo, 8 years old.
Dear Fore! I found your cache after golf. This had no swaps! Damn micros. Watch out for spiders! Thanks for the cache, Raspberry Chicken 6 years old.
Today was Friday 13th [Black Friday] and we were lucky enough to find 13 caches today! This was our fifth for the day. This was a very quick and easy find for us. We were able to park about 1 meter away from GZ and make a quick retrieval. TNLNSL TFTC
Found after a shopping trip with Fore! For my new sticks. While we were there it seemed silly for me not to find the cache. Without my new Dakota 10 I was back using the iPhone for this one, hence hint required... Found...another one for the list. hoping romaine 100 this week
A true park and grab, that's what I like to see.TFTC.
Pen is still there.

Oh, thank you hint! My batteries recharged after the most recent find, we arrived for the hunt. Of course I looked on the wrong side of the fence at first. I didn't really get the hint so it was only after a few fruitless minutes of searching, just as I was turning away to accept defeat that a certain color caught my eye. "Aha!" I thought and jumped into the GZ 'area' with a little too much wild abandon. I will have scratches tomorrow. Pen is still there and still cute! I'll be finding myself one of those!
Thank you for the cache Fore. I've never even played a game in my life, but will be back very soon I think for some birthday fun!

Out and about from Queensland visiting with Wombats Inc. (son & family) and decided to go caching on a rather wet day. Took a little while to locate the “not quite a flagpole” as it is well hidden. After that finding the cache was easy but I had to get young grandson to extract it as my fingers were too fat.
Thanks Fore!
