Found today at 11am. Well, found the lid only. Definitely been muggled, but an interesting location!
I am logging this one as a find as we did actually did find some of the cache although we couldn't get right up to it with the amount of Death Eaters (bees) guarding the cache. I would recommend Thyla and Thylo that you move this cache so that it isn't so closely guarded.

Went out today with Team_Coxy. We found what was left of this cache (see photos).
It has definately been Muggled.
There was no logbbok to sign and the bees were not too pleased at our presence.

Found the plastic bag and fortunately no bees! However I did see a dead Tuan (brush-tailed phascogale). Very exciting as I have never seen a live one.
There was no TB in the cache as logged.

Found this morning, I agree that it needs some help the bag has a hole in it. Therain will finish off the log. The Chef and I fly again
Found the zip-lock bag full of goodies, but no container. Also found the bees! Be very careful around here, people!
Signed log, and hid bag of goodies as best we could. It had a hole in it, and desparately needs a container. Thanks Thyla and Thylo.

Found the cache easily enough. I could see it, but was not game enough to retrieve it or sign the log book due to bees going in and out of the hole. I don't like Bees much.
Found at 1510 hours (left 2 marbles) - no container just a bag - no bees in resident. Suggest a container of some description or the cache may become wet.
Find # 666 @ 19:00
It was drizzling rain and as I was already drenched from a down pour at a previous cache, I thought I'd try for this on the way home. I arrived at what I thought was gz and after a good look I resorted to the hint. After observing something that the hint resembled I found that it had been torn apart. My first thoughts were that the cache had been lost or muggled but after reading some of the cachers comments I broadened the search and soon found that cache minus the container. I signed the log and replaced the glad bag back under cover. There is a small hole in the bag and I didn't have one with me to replace it so I hope it remains dry. I will post a maintenance note.

Cache container is missing and needs to be replaced. Cache contents are still in the glad bag but it has a hole in it.
Found with Almost_there, looks like it has been disturbed and needs lots of maintenance. Could not sign the log unfortunately.
With Been_there. Pretty sure we found it but couldn't sign the book. Bees have taken up residence in the log and in what looked like the container. Got as close as we dared - looked as though the cache had been disturbed with the log book and other treasures stuffed in the hidey hole.
Found as a group Activity with Turbo Rover Crew in the middle of the night. Didnt have to correct software for our GPS so made it a lot more challenging But once at location found without to much hassle.

Pleasant reserve, found cache easily. cachecking88 did excellent job restoring cache, now in zip-lock bag. Left picture card, didn't take anything.
Found what was left of the cache, pretty evident that it was destroyed by kids, restored it as best as possible and hid it within 1 metre of original place, hint to

Yet another cache in this series that is best done during the day when it isn't raining.
Being unfamiliar with the area I walked from the car (located at Chamber of Secrets) and turned into the first entrance of the park. Wow, what a hill to attempt in the dark and the drizzle. I chuckled at the signs 'slippery when wet' as I had already gone down twice.
Near the top of the hill I saw the path shooting to the right and, as it was kind of in the direction of GZ, headed that way. Some more slips, more near misses and then the bad realisation. This path wasn't taking me to GZ - GZ was to the right at 60 m.
Hmm, what to do. I couldn't just wander around the park hoping to stumble on the right path, and I didn't want to give up. So, taking a few careful steps I decided to bush bash my way down the hill. I couldn't recall seeing any blue lines on the map that would make my way difficult (still having wet sneakers from my previous river crossing adventure) and this time I had a torch (well, my mobile has a torch feature, it isn't exactly a Dolphin though).
The decent was suprisingly easy and I hit the correct path and was only 20 m away. GPS was at 12 m accuracy (the tree cover, the cloud cover, the rain all conspiring against me) and with my glasses fogging up and my mobile torch I could see 3 m around me.
No fear - I headed up the hill. At GZ there was nothing (in relation to what I was searching for - I cheated and looked at the hint). So I widened my search and stumbled across what could be the hiding location. A quick scan of the torch showed what looked like an old bee-hive on the fallen log/branch of a tree. Ignoring that, I scrambled across and under some branches and started moving (kicking) bits of tree fall around. 30 seconds of this and I realised that this may not be the most productive way of searching. Standing up I shone the torch back across the object I was investigating only to freeze in horror. The old bee-hive was now alive with bright yellow stripes (they certainly looked bright amongst the gloom of the branches) with bee's.
Not the best thing for someone who is very, VERY, allergic to them at night when no-one knows where you are. Backing away oh so carefully (I was so lucky my scramblings had just shaken the branch and woken them up a little, they weren't aggressive and flying around - YET). Deciding to give up and get the *(^& away I headed on a wide loop to avoid the bee's and started back down hill - this time watching the torch light very carefully to see if I stumbled across anything else that might kill me.
Well, it won't kill me, but the torch picked up - yes, you guessed it - the shiny glow of plastic. I had stumbled across the real GZ in my haste to leave. I signed the log while looking over my shoulder (still having some remenants of fear that the bee's would come after me), re-hid and headed out.
Took until reaching the car until the adrenaline wore off, and that was after I had shaken all my clothes down several times to ensure I hadn't picked up any hitch-hikers.
I enjoyed the cache (actually, I didn't, but that wasn't anyone's fault but my own). But a warning to other's - there is an active bee's nest on the ground on a large fallen branch around 7 m from GZ. Please take care

Third cache of the day with my 2-year old daughter. This is the first time she's really understood geocaching. She kept taking the GPS from me wanting to look at the "treasure map". Great size cache here. Kira took the marbles, and left a snoopy doll. Thanks.

I got to the GZ area in the dim light and saw that someone was already there, which amazed me. I went and sat down on a log for a couple of minutes and wondered if the person was another cacher. Going on a previous log, I think it was!
I previously came here with Feathertop in 2007 before I registered as a cacher, so remembered roughly where it was. It turned out to be a quick find in another one of those parks I never would have stopped the car to go and have a walk in if not for this funny activity I participate in these days.
I left a travel bug I picked up on the coast of Tassie near Devonport.

This was my last stop off for the day as it was getting dark - left the car in a dim light and after a relatively quick find I returned to the car in the dark - I miss daylight savings already!

A very nice bit a bushland, and a great place for a cache!
Once within 50m of GZ the gps was tucked into the pocket with very obvious trails leading up to GZ. A very easy find.
Perhaps time for a short relocation within the area to allow the grass and shrubs to recover??

Found with Jyetara on a humid day,
as we set off for this one we had a decision to make as to which path to take, so with my usual animal instincts, we took the wrong one! so we had to go cross country for the last bit. The right path was seen as we signed the log.

A nice easy find on a lazy and beautifully sunny afternoon. Nice little spot of bushland here. Left a caching badge, took nothing. The cache was a little damp, we tried airing it a bit but it might need a once over with a towel. Thanks for the cache!
Found a huge stump, and thought it might be hidden in there, but no such luck. Oh, what is that over there I can see? Yes, it was totally uncovered and positively vibrating with muggle-meness. Looked OK though. TNLNSL. Thanks for bringing me to this nice bit of bushland.

On a caching day with Muzza and Barcoder cache # 7 of 30 today. My thanks to Thyla and Thylo for the cache.
This was cache # 7 of 16 in my day out with Kiwideb and Barcoder. We wandered around for a couple of minutes before grabbing the cache. Thanks to Thyla and Thylo for the cache.
This is the seventh of 30 caches found today in company with Muzza and Kiwideb on another great caching day. The weather was perfect, the company excellent, the caches fantastic.
The order of the day was to find them quickly. This one was not as quick as some of the others. I suspect that Dolores Umbridge had something to do with it. Thanks for this cache Thyla and Thylo. And I see where you both have had a little magic in your lives as well. Congrats!

You know, it kinda pays to look at the area where the cache is hidden via google earth or something like that. This one is no different. I was on my way home from my sisters place at 11pm, and thought that I might track this one down.
I loaded up the co-ords in my phone and drove in the direction of the cache as best I could. I got 20 meters of GZ before I gave up. Bush was to thick to walk thru in thongs, and where I parked would have roused alot of suspicion. Oh well, better luck next time I guess.

Felt like Harry himself, or more appropriately Hermione, as I crashed through the bush (well...) in the reluctant spouse's wake. He was silly to run ahead as I held the key (gps receiver) and was able to make the find on this one!!

Thank you for an excellent series, Thyla and Thylo.
