GZ found without any problems but no cache. Reverted to the hint to confirm that I was in the right spot - appears to have been some recent work done in the area which may explain why I was unable to locate the cache
Nice cache in a very peaceful location.
Left TB, took little rubber duckie & signed log book.
Took the time to have a wander around - very sad actually as many new arrivals.
Cheers,
Sahdowwomen

People were there when we arrived so we had to do some sightseeing, anyway found the cache after 'the living' left, luckily in time as more of 'the living' turned up.

Second find with my new oregon 300. Not sure that it made it any easier but it's lovely to use up-to-date technology and to go paperless.. Still learning how to use it but it's very intuitive.
The find was easy especially with the clue. I noticed the "Be careful of the snakes " sign at the gate. No one else around except a lady with a small dog who saw me wandering around and warned me about the snakes! I doubt that the snakes were too active with the temperature being very chilly this morning.
TNLN as i left my special caching bumbag at home in my haste to get out and try my new GPSr.
Thanks Thyla and Thylo.

With not a 'soul' in sight we found this treasure at 11:10am with minimal fuss, although we had read the clue Geokids excited at the size of this hide! Love their swaps!) Took 2 X roller stamp highlighters. Left butterfly beads, flower stickers and a supa-ball. Wasn't until we'd completed this very important business of 'what to take, what to leave' and replaced cache that we realised we were not alone, with some people just metres away from us. Thankfully we saw them before they saw (or heard!) us, which was a feat in itself, but I do think they wondered where we had come from, and gave us a hard stare as we left, trying to look all the world like we were there for a 'history' lesson! Love these places, many thanks for another reason to visit!
good fun finding it,
looked a bit silly jumping the fence of a cemetary!
thanks!

Out on a lovely midweek drive with the young daughter. Great place to hunt for a cache because I've been meaning to stop by for a look at the history of this place for years.

What a lovely bush cemetery with some interesting residents. TNLN. Thanks from Greg and Bev
The gravediggers were at work on the other side of the cemetary. They weren't digging my grave so they took no notice of me as I tracked this down.
#202!!
This is really our 200th Milestone as 2x of our "finds" are our own caches! Hmmm. Yes.
Cool spot, as are most country cemeteries. Even grabbed a goat skull here. Is that sacrilege or something? Oh crap!
Somehow both the Mrs & Mr ended up with some nice blue ink on our hands. We're both maybe just a little too curious.
Famous Last Words: "Hey I wonder what's in this box marked 'bomb'?"
Thanks for the cache!

This was a tricky one to retrieve on a Sunday lunchtime as there were several people tending the graves. Geoboy extracted it with no problems but waiting for a 'window' to put it back was very tricky, the lady in the bright red jumper wouldn't turn away! I took it back to the car to log our visit and sort out swops. Eventually she got bored and we managed to return the cache to its resting place.

No problem with this one. It's interesting to see lots of old, dilapidated graves spread among the much more recent ones - almost like they've gone through the cemetery once and are now coming back to fill in the gaps. Not one of my choice jobs - digging holes between old graves and hoping not to dig up something unexpected...

All quiet here today....not really surprising. A comfortable stroll soon had the cache revealed. TNLNSL. Thanks !
As Chewin' said, the scene was set for a night time raid of the graveyard. Weird solar lights on about five graves. Guess you don't want the goules falling over the little fences.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Came upon this one at night too! Full moon as well so we had to beat off the werewolves as we walked in. A bit of a trend happening in this cemetary with a bunch of solar powered garden lights lighting some of the graves. Gives a rather eery sort of a feel to the place, not helped by the timing of our visit I suppose.
Anyway we found the cache and we lived to tell the tale.
Thanks again Thyla and Thylo

Find # 2307 and 7th of the day at 1:30pm Accompanied by Tahmara for a day out caching. I thought we would have no muggle trouble here but it seems to be the local dog walking track, TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Thyla and Thylo....

Found at 0705. Enjoyed this nice little cemetery set amongst the green hills all around. Had a chuckle too when I saw the 'Watch out for snakes' sign on the gate. Was wondering if any of the wizards from Slytherin were going to jump out.

The first time I came here was last month, and was on a busy day. Last week i was in the area and remembered it however didn't have the GPS, so we traveled in the direction of where I thought it might be, spread out and checked all possible spots. The first tree I went to had the prize. Only one more Potter cache to go.
Thanks guys

2pm, Found in the company of Muzza and Barcoder. A very hot day. Thanks for the cache a nice quick easy find thats what I like. The 8th of 11 for the day.
This was the second last cache of 8 today with Barcoder and Kiwideb. In the heat, the short walk and quick find was appreciated. My thanks to Thyla and Thylo for the cache.
I spent an excellent but hot day today, in the company of Muzza and Kiwideb completing 11 caches. Muzza made sure we saw a bit of everything. Bush land, hills, parkland, hills, a swimming pool and the Yarra River. We had an excellent day. Thank you Muzza and Kiwideb, you are always great company and it is a treat to cache with you both. This was about one of the easiest finds of the day. We were back inside the car and to the A/C within 5 mins at least! Thanks for the cache Thyla and Thylo.

I'd like to echo Maccamob's comments, having come from 'Sparkky's First' it was quite a contrast to see such a well maintained cemetery. As I was approaching GZ I disturbed a flock of grass parrots and they flew past me with a flash of colour. Not a bad little past time this whole caching caper.
I think that might be the last of the HP series for me, now to start the books......
Thanks Thyla and Thylo,

This is the first HP cache I have found - I'm starting at the back end ! I took a screw driver and left a Snoopy dog.
Found @ 1600.
This is a lovely peaceful graveyard, very well maintained. A couple of muggles were there maintaining graves. The cache was easily found. TN, Left TB Tahlee's Travels. TFTC!

Found by Mary & David at 1700. Little box hedges, bright annuals, roses and lavender, and Australian native plants on the graves gave such a different appearance to the cemetery. Even solar lighting to keep you company at night. Some interesting graveyard architecture and symbolism here too. Very pleasing to see such an old cemetery so beautifully maintained. Took keyring, left lanyard. Also collected 'What's Mom Cooking TB' and dropped off TB 'Perentie. Our thanks once more to Thyla and Thylo.
Found by Team Ladava 1.30pm
Well, you are right. It is a lovely peaceful spot. No Muggles while we were there. The pulled up just as we were returning to the car.
Did not see any slithery snakes but the baby magpies are nice to hear.
Left Australian key ring and TB
Took girls Cleopatra headpiece

Father's Day was probably not the best day of the year on which to attempt this cache, but as it was reasonably late in the afternoon, there were not too many muggles around.
Took: bubbles, 3 little pigs, keyring
Left: three animals, snake, cactus, screwdriver, gel pen
Also picked up Pingui Geocoin.

Nice one, a fitting place for a cache with this name. Second and final find for the day. No swaps
Found by Pickupfamily Dad and kids Pickup Dragon and Pickup Tiger at 1725hrs. A very pretty and peaceful little cemetary, which we had often noticed from the road but (the familiar story) never stopped before. An easy find. Took geocoin, left geocoin. Thanks for your third cache today Thyla and Thylo.

Found at 11.05am GAFF1. A great start to our Sunday caching. A very quite spot in the Hallows. Thanks T&T. Took: Stamp Left: Kangaroo keyring.
4:45pm when we found this one, but still a couple of people wandering around. Left Lucky the Platypus #3 geocoin to continue it's travels. SL. TFTC.
Another in this interesting series. I thought it was probably an appropriate place for this book and the cache was found without trouble. Took poncho and left stapler set. Thanks
Another easy find in a good hide - my seventh T&T one for today. This is a really good resting place if only one could enjoy it! Thanks again Thyla and Thylo. TNLN
We found our 13th Thyla and Thylo cache at 11:40am as the 3rd of 20 for the day. Our first in the Harry Potter series but possibly second if Harry Potter and A Quaint Little Park ever gets published. Thanks from D&H.

Found this one at 13:45 with Alsume on a lunchtime escape. It took a little longer than usual as we had no pen between us and a return trip to the car was needed .
TNLNSL, although Slammin Sam TB dropped in for a visit to mark his return to the "home of football". Thanks Thyla and Thylo.

Found at 1:45pm with Eudes. Today the find was not thwarted by muggles. Yesterday I gave up when two artists were sitting nearby with their easels and painting. Thought about turning them into toads - but couldn't remember the spell!

Fourth find of the day with our friends that have now been introduced to the somewhat addictive world of geocaching. Seemed appropriate this one as D picked up the book yesterday and I tried to find out what happened by reading the last point...didn't tell me a lot, guess I will have to wait for DVD. Very well kept area this and many visitors paying their respects. Fortunately GZ is a little way aware and you can be unobserved when retrieving. A very well stocked cache we might add too! TFTC Thyla and Thylo, we have to find the others next time we are down. Cheers.

I've been along this road many times, but hadn't noticed the cemetery turnoff before - it really seems to be a wonderfully well-maintained example and with a long history too . It's apparently still in use judging by the number of visitors this morning and the "newness" of many of the plots. Fortunately, the hide is well away from any sensitive areas and from the gaze of those paying their respects or performing maintenance on grave sites so I had no trouble finding the good sized container and doing my logging .

A lovely morning for wandering around checking on the ancestral tree (hers) and picking up the occasional cache. Very pleased to find a usefully sized container but had to make some room so we could drop in the Heureux Connexion Francaise TB (It desperately wants to get to France). Removed the 4-pack of rubber stamps and dropped in the Lemony Snickets stamp. Also picked up the Geocoin Race Winner. After all that we went off to find her relatives. Thanks T&T
~16:10 As I approached, I was very mindful of a memorial service going on nearby, even despite me keeping a respectful distance I still attracted some strange looks for the crowd. Still I managed a discrete find. In: TB and Ethernet Transciver Out: Jack. Now back to the book ! Thanks again Thyla and Thylo a great cache well stocked too.
Found at 19:45 in company with dak’s Emu Mob. I have driven past this place several times and thought about placing a cache here my self I noted the cemetery was opened in 1851 there sure would be some great history to make a multi, oh well looks like I was to slow. We watched a possum climb up the tree right next to us. Thanks Thanks Thyla and Thylo for the cache.
#27 of 38 finds on a cold, wet, miserable day in Melbourne in company with acts2youthgroup. I found this one at 1945. I've been looking forward to the release of the book that this cache is named after (it comes out tomorrow!). The gates were locked at this time of night, so we hoofed it in. I made no exchange. Thanks to Thyla and Thylo for the cache. Cheers, dak.
FTF at 8.30am, Another excuse to arrive late at work this morning, Its a lovely little spot and a great cache hide in such an area.
