As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Does it take that long to get a new container? Its been out for more than a year.
Any news on what's happening with this one?
I'm trying to clean out the Melbourne CBD caches and it's only disabled caches left. Happy to wait if it's coming back!

looks like this one might have gone, will have a look when next in the city
Been here a couple of times during our stay in Melbourne but couldn´t find anything!
DNF. Came here three times now ... August 1st, 11th and 12th. Had a pretty good idea of where the cache was hidden, and was able to search without too much muggle problems around GZ. Is it still there?
Found with Team Outnabout early morning with almost no muggles about. A great hide. TFTC
Had to wait a bit for the parking officer to go, but other than that a straight forward find. Clever container. TFTC
Found @ 1540Hrs
On my way home from working in the city a nice easy find it took a bit more to get it back in it's hiddy spot but the old tie the boot laces worked a treat.

First find in Australia. Clever spot and surprisingly muggle free for weekday mid afternoon. Doorway across street good log signing spot, short wait for passing peds and applied the old shoe lace trick to resecure. TFTCSL
Nice little cache. Like the container. Tape is no longer sticky to hold the bottom on. Be careful when it is removed. All of the logs could go flying into the wind.

Quick easy find with my mate Gerry on a lazy Saturday afternoon waiting for the plane home. very few muggles about today. I think they were all at the MCG (where we were last night watching the Blues and the Bombers)

Great cache. I took the liberty of contributing a new sheet of A5 as a log since the two existing cache logs were full.

Very clever hide. Who would have thought something so obvious would be so deceiving. Thanks for the enjoyment provided, and FTC. Had trouble finding a blank piece of paper to log on though, it's a bit of a mish-mash of sheets. Took nothing away from the cache, though, thanks.

Went & looked with very little time, only to have the GPS signal get lost as I approached GZ. With no hope of it coming back in the time frame I had!

Dvixen and I had *ALMOST* given up on this one, but one last look turned up the cache. Good thing I'd seen those type of containers before, or I might have missed it.

Here with Big Matt and Steeba as part of our Vic invasion weekend. As the security car patrolled the front we made quick time of the cache on the side.

Another cache done while in a quick trip to Melbourne. Nice handmade container.. Grabbed this one with the_robots. TFTC
A quick one day trip from Perth and we had an hour or two free for caching. Second of three caches that cannedtuna and I grabbed whilst in Melbourne. Great hide - TFTC!
This is a good location for a cache. I spent a little time seraching on both sides of the wall before I was able to snag the cache. TNLN. TFTC.
Had a go at this a while ago and ended up on the wrong side of the wall running out of time. Approached from a different direction this morning and no such problems. Retrieved OK but then had to loiter around trying not to look too suspicious waiting for a gap in the muggles to replace. TFTC, Biggles.
Went to rough area - and was loading up Geocaching iPhone thing - cache spotted by GeoKid before it had time to boot!
Found by McAdies.
We were in the CBD for the 2nd time this month and managed to find a couple of caches to boot. It had started raining so no-one was really paying attention to what we were doing which was good.

Find # 47 @ 13:20 Plenty of muggles to-ing and fro-ing.
Miss muggle pulled up and was sitting in her vehicle at gz with eagle eyes when I went to replace the cache so I trotted off and had a cuppa nearby and when I returned, she had left so cache was replaced unseen. SL TFTC

Interesting looking cache!
Was having a lazy day in Melbourne and the kids and I decided to see if there were any caches nearby. We recently loaded the Geocache Navigator software into my Nokia E71 which made the task of cacheing on a whim real easy and fun. Found the cache okay but, bugger... no pen. So, TNLN but didn't SL!

When I first visited this cache this morning, I saw what I thought was the cache, but there was a muggle sitting in the car right next to the cache, and he wasn't moving. Rather than risk being caught, I headed off to do some shopping.
Upon my return about an hour later (this time in my car) there was no cars nearby, and I was able to confirm that my previous sighting was correct. Log was signed quickly and I was on my way. Thanks for the cache.

Found at 11:20 with mymonster, straight after we had to abort our search for the nearby Flagstaff (GC1GK9B) cache. First find after the WWFM V event. Certainly a nice old building, the old mint. Thanks chefs.
Hey, wasnt the weather good in Melbourne today? I was on a caching spree tagging with jezarocks,

Our second cache after the WWFM V event. We found nicely camouflaged the cache pretty quickly, not too many possibilities here.
Afterwards we admired the old mint and took a few photo's.

It was good to have a nice easy cache after almost not finding our previous cache (I was caching with TeamGeoPlesk today). I've never found a container like this before, however I have one sitting at home waiting to hide.

Walked right past the spot at first thinking, "Hey, here would be a good spot."
Found it the second time looking at the hiding spot.

After watching Mrs Voogoo spend lots of money @ the markets, we headed back to our hotel... raining so mrs voogoo had a snooze & I found my first of 4 for the weekend... Go Crows!
Found at peak hour, so was extra sneaky

First I pulled out a piece of broken bottle which I took with me. Second I got the cache which I neatened up after adding a new piece of paper to the log. Thanks chefs on the run.
Found easily, retrieving was a different story. It's a very busy street with muggles coming and going in every direction but we managed it eventually. Nice hide.

That's how I like my urban caches - nice and easy to find. No hassles late at night, although I was somewhat surprised to spot a hole in the bricks, not too far from the cache, that goes looks right into the building!
Just a case of which one. I have found a few caches with this exact same container, so it stood out like the proverbials when I saw it. Easy grab between muggles at 1145 hrs, second for today. We spent more time going round in circles being directed by the Nuvi than logging the cache.

Could see it but recovery is was of the question due to muggles sitting in car adjacent. Went back 20 minutes later with no problems. TFTC
Early evening seems to be an OK time to look for this one. Less muggles but you don't stick out like a sore thumb either.
Had great fun finding this one and it was the first time I've seen this type of hide.

I didn't wait for the GPS to settle ...
Stood back and cast a trained eye. Thankfully not too many muggles on a Saturday afternoon - I couldn't imagine trying to do this one on a weekday.
Located it quickly, and discarded a syringe that had been placed with (not in) the cache.

What a cool building!! Wish I had the camera with me. Took a LONG time to find since my GPSr doesn't like big cities! Cache is sitting on top of a syringe. Yikes!! There were a couple muggles very close so I didn't want to try to remove it. Thanks for bringing me to a really cool place! TFTC #2267 for us.
The GPSr was sending me in all directions so I switched it off and started the search. After some minutes I found the cache and wrote my log.

After visiting the Queen Victoria Market, SCJ and I swung around the block and snagged this one. I think I’ll steal the “used syringe diversion†idea when I get back to the States as it makes a nice muggle deterrent. It almost deterred me too, but REAL geocachers stick their hands into way scarier places all the time. The log sheets were full so I tore off a bit of blank paper and left it - it should last for a few more finds. TFTC!!!
Found it at 1.00 pm. Interesting cache. Please be careful with this one as someone had left a syringe in there when I retrieved the cache.
It looks like new work around GZ site. We hope it hasn't been moved.

After having breakfast at a nearby cafe I grabbed this one before heading off to watch tennis at the Aussie Open.

Out caching with Kojin, this was our first find for the day, made exactly at midday. This is such a great cache. This one would be very difficult during the week.
Found this one with Piglet55. Future cachers take care where you stick your hands - found a used syringe in a similar location further down the street. SL. TFTC.
Found w The Empire. Really enjoying the more challenging cache's with many muggles around. Different type of difficulty ... a lot of fun!

Found this one no problems, have seen a cache container like this one before.Logged and placed back in same position, although I must have looked dodgy because some guy thought I might be trying to steal his car and decided to have a go at me...will have to be more inconspicuous in the future. TFTC!
Found this one. There was actually a syringe in a gap similar to where the cache is hidden...quite scary. Always wear gloves when caching and i always have a stick when i have to put my hand into any holes or anything.
Anyway, found this one on my seccond attempt, the first time I was actually in the Mint carpark! I put pics on my blog: http://zooplegeocaching.blogspot.com/2009/01/mint-gc14p9p-melb.html
Nice camo and nice hide.

Our first thought was on the other side of the road, under the gaze of all the cameras - that would have been impossible. As it was, 9.45am on what was effectively a public holiday was nice and quiet here - could even have been done as a drive by, with parking available the full length of the road. A clever hide, TFTC
Found quickly with Aussie Puschaks due to very low muggle activity this time of year. Nice clever hide TFTC
As I got closer, the GPS seemed to point towards the back of the Court Building, so had to resort to the clue, Nice container, I seem to have seen this type around Berwick. Did someone get a heap of them at a special price?

~12:45 King Jnr with Work mate Sergio. Out for a walk on a nice day - too good to be sitting around the office at lunch time ! I should have picked this cache up long ago. We had to watch out for the parking inspectors who were only meters away but they were more interested in sticking log entry on car windows and looking for micros around car tyres.... thanks again Chefs.
Found after a challanging search - GPS had me going around in circles. Needed the hint, and was found soon after. Thanks for taking me to this interesting area.
gps coverage was at best ordinary today.
walked around in circles, but eventually found it.
