I think the cache has passed it's use by date. Might place a traditional at the final location instead at a later stage.
No joy for me either. Can you please check to see if it is still there. If so I will visit again.

The only thing I found was a lead tag hanging in what I consider would have been an excellent WP1. Apart from that I had some pretty good exercise going up and down on all sides of poor Kenny's bridge. I've always admired the big tree at the historical end. TFT hunt.
What an adventure I had tonight. No luck tonight but I'll be back in the daylight to try again!!
Despite a lengthy search, WP1 eluded me today.
I then tried a brute force attack to find GZ, but my guesses remained just that.
Thanks for the hunt, cdmark.

Annual Easter two week camping holiday on the Goulburn River near Nagambie and out for a short sojourn winerying and geocaching. Up around Murchison to visit Longleat but it's closed today so a cache or two will make up for that.
Arrived a way point 1 and thought b....y hell, where do you start looking for a magnetic widget here but it was soon in hand and MuggleWife and I were of to the GZ. GZ was found easily with the log signed we were on our way. Cache and contents all in good order.
Thanks for the cache cdmark

We didn't find WP1 but little geocachers loved throwing things in the river. Toilet paper clue helped us to find the cache though. TFTC
Couldn't find WP1, but I followed the clues derived from other comments and after a good long search across some rather unsettling terrain I spotted a likely hidey spot! Hurrah!!! Very proud of myself for this one
OMG we really got a workout doing this one, WP1 was easy, getting to the final was very exhausting hardest trek we've done in a long time once we got over this hurdle we found the cache straight away Thanks for the exercise I reckon I've worked off a few kilos thanks CDMark
Got very confused about hints and past logs that referred to cache and waypoint. Spent a half hour ( two people) looking near the last diagonal ( last from town end) on foot bridge. We have come long way and will be in murchison for couple of hours. Would appreciate help.
Very confused with hints and recent logs whether they refer to WP or cache. Two of us have spent a half hour at GZ at last diagonal (from town end) on bridge but no luck. Some help would be appreciated but we are only in Murchison for a couple if hours.
Micheena- coming home from Melb and thought we might be able to clean up a cache along the way. Name sounded familiar. On arrival, yes we have done this one. Missed logging it back in March 2012
Found this with Shellumbus, also found the biggest brown snake I have ever seen! Take care!
This morning I dunny know how I ended up in Murchison, but I did
There was a smattering of five, count them, FIVE caches around towne to flush out
A star candidate was the cache on Kenny's Bridge
I pooh-poohed around for a while at the end of the bridge trying to find this "clingy" cache [:o]
Butt with the coords of GZ to hand I could look over at where the cache was hiding.
What trail ?? [:o]
I tried the steps first.... not going that way thanks
The flying fox way in was a little bit friendlier
Without too much difficulty I made it to GZ and found the cache.
I was flushed with pride
A fun cache chase which deserves a toilet roll
TFTC.
I took the Bugged UTE travel bug with me.

Find Number 8 - Australia Day Weekend.
First waypoint needed eyes from below. With a helping hand it was found quickly. Second waypoint was an obstacle course of fallen down trees - then I found out I took the long and difficult track!

Off on our Aussie day weekend camping trip!
7th cache for the trip
Great co ordinates WP1 in hand without too much fuss...
However we should have read previous posts to WP2!!!
With 3 geokids, 3 geodogs and 4 of us wearing thongs on our feet.. Needless to say a few of us didn't make GZ, but team spottyteapot was represented with teamtraveller76!!
cache in great condition and dropped off travel bug to continue its journey.

This proved more difficult than anticipated. The path has been washed away and after a bit of bush bashing the boys discovered it was easier and safer to follow the fence line toward GZ. TFTC
Out on a weekend caching run with the "Earthbounds" between Euroa and Bendigo. We had trouble getting to the GZ so for future finders please stay along the fence line as the path has been washed away. TFTH......SL........TNLN.
Had a go at this one way back in April 08, according to my log on another nearby cache. It seems I didn't do a DNF. Sorry. Anyway as I remember I ended up in a different spot so I suspect I loaded the co-ords incorrectly. Did better this time and found it after a short search at GZ.
A little saddened to see that the last finder was Purpledreamer, just a month back, and now tragically, she has passed away. Life can be so fleeting. I've cached with her several times and will remember her fondly.
Thanks cdmark.

Found it.A great little multi in a lovely area with some great history and information. The hotel was definately grand and we had a good look as we drove slowly past it to park under the bridge. The first WP was found easily and the river was looking lovely. There was plenty of traffic passing today and the bridge was abit too shakey for my liking. After putting in the coords for GZ we made the short walk and a find on a well hidden cache.

Find # 1688
I was in Nagambie with my Brother and sister-in-law (Team Kwokka) I spent the mornung Kayaking on the lake, and after lunch, my brother suggested that we go and find some caches. I was happy with that as I needed to find a cache today for my project 366.
We continued up the road from the previous DNF and stopped in the nearby side street. Kwokka found the first waypoint without too much trouble. We then headed towards GZ, but I am not sure we took the best path, but we got there in the end. Nicely hidden cache.
Thanks to cdmark for the hide. TNLN.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. We tried so many ways to get to this cache because the water is still over the access steps. Eventually, we did find a way and had the cache in hand rather quickly. thanks for this cache. (Absolutely LOVED the painted cows in the nearby park!!)
micheena - Found wp1 okay, but river still up, although down alot from where it has been. Thought we might try from the other side of the bridge, but the water and washed up logs had us turning back. Maybe next time, when water level drops some more.
#2491 We were heading back to Albury after spending a weekend in Bendigo. We detoured through Murchison to grab a couple of caches there. This was an enjoyable multi and once we had the information for GZ we knew where we had to go......but how to get there without looking suspicious getting by a facility that was very popular on this hot day. Rightly or wrongly we went the low road which increased the terrain rating by about 3.5 stars! We managed our way to GZ climbing up from below. Decided to return via the easier route . Thanks to cdmark for the enjoyable multi
Finding this cache has been a long time coming!
After visiting my friend who lives locally and giving me the heads up that the river has gone down, I hoped that I would be about to make this a find today.
I have attempted to make the walk a couple of times in the past, but the river was halfway up the stairs the first time, and the second time, even though the river had gone down, there were heaps of muddy patches, and the mozzies!!
Anyways, today, the walk was dry although there were quite some fallen trees and branches in the way.
The nearby pool was closed so no one saw us searching about here, which took some time to make the find.
Thanks cdmark for this multi-cache.

Found with bodeckas at end of a great camping weekend by the river. 5 geokids had a great time despite 30+ deg temp. TFTC!
Sort of found by mistake today. Had cords on a piece of paper that we thought were GZ for a multi we had solved on a previous trip. Surprise, surprise!!! Found this one instead. SL TFTC
WP1 found quickly, but no luck accessing GZ today. Will have another look in the future.

Was in the area visiting a local friend. Thought I may as well see if I could find this cache since I'd already have the final coords... Anyways, once again I was foiled by water! I'll try again another time when the river has subsided and the banks have dried out.
Having to visit Tatura for some job interviews provided me with an excellent opportunity to pick up a few caches on the way home to Melbourne. At this point I would like to thank my very patient colleague for indulging me, despite the light rain, in searching for this cache. Unfortunately we had no luck on WP1. Oh well, another time
thought I would give this one a go being an easy multi and not having to much time to spare. Had a little trouble with WP1 but finally after reading clue found GZ. Wasn't to keen on diving hands where I cant see the SPIDERS are HUGE up here. Headed off to WP2 had to do some bush bashing oh no more BIG SPIDERS. Found GZ easily signed log and replaced cache. TFTC T1L1
Doing some maintenance on my own caches I thought I would check a few of the local caches. All ok with both wp1 & final on this one.
Second find for the day with some newbie cachers. Great to see so much water around. TFTC
I didn't have a long look for this one.. however my GPS was pointing me towards a tree that had a high water mark 1m or soo up it.. could it have washed away in the last flood?? I'd assumed this to be the case and thus didn't spend alot of time looking.. so maybe I've missed it.. either way.. I'll be back at about the same time of year next year..
Sorry, I forgot to log this one when I found it in late October, early November. Thought that I had already logged it. Well, this one did challenge me a little as my gps went flat before I could find the first micro. Luckily enough it died just as I was roughly able to see the general area. With a little searching it was in my hands. Had to wait until I could charge my gps in the car before I got to GZ. Found the cache easily enough. TFTC.
I attempted the final WP for this cache on the way to lunch but couldn't get a handle on a good access point.
I returned a bit later after reading the clues only to get the impression that the cache was under water (the river is running at about 8 metres over normal height).
My second return still had the GPSr arrow pointing into the water.
After a quick heads up from a local cacher I was soon on the right track to bag this cache. I was told later that my activities were noticed be a local muggle who knows about the cache.
Thanks for the cache cdmark.

This one has been on our 'to do' list for some time for two reasons: 1. Being plumbers, we thoroughly enjoyed the movie Kenny - we could watch it again and again and still laugh all the way through. 2. Geoma has a brother called Ken and we cross this bridge most times on our way to visit him in Bendigo. We found WP1 on Saturday on our way to visit Kenny 2, and came back on Sunday evening to complete it at 5.55pm. There is a great deal of water damage evident along the river - which is a similar story along many NE Victorian waterways of late. Found the cache safe and dry in its hidey hole. TNLN. TFTC cdmark and we are happy to cross it off our list of 'to do's' at last!
We did this in the rain today, and thankfully that meant the muggles stayed away. Found the info as required but had to bide our time as the local copper seemed to take an interest in us wandering around. Waited around for a while until he lost interest and then we could log the cache. Thanks cdmark for the cache.
Well, we gave it a go, found WP1 fairly quickly but GZ had us trapsing up and down and around, hard to believe how high the water had been! GPS was chopping and changing and in the process of using this marvelous technology to check up on the clues etc. we wiped off the co-ordinates! which we hadn't recorded by hand so with 40 mins behind us couldn't afford to go back and get them. A challenge awaiting us next time were passing! TFTC Loved the movie and enjoyed your story.
Great place, did the walk over to the hotel is a nice old place. Went for a ride on the tiger cow. TFTC Took dragon fly coin.Left TB Rose coin.
Arrived at waypoint1 and couldn't believe my luck finding the necessary information for gz almost immediately, which was fortunate as a few large semi-trailer were crossing the bridge and "Gee" does it shake! After entering co-ords and a short stroll the cache was found in good condition.
Thanks for the cache cdmark

Had a little trouble finding WP1 - eventually located container a little away from where GPS was indicating. Short walk to GZ from there. A quick hunt and the cache was in our hands. Swapped some 'treasures' - TFTC.
#92 No probs with WP1 but GPS off a bit at WP2 so that took a bit of searching. Thanks
Spent considerable time looking for the micro at the first WP. Had to check the hints to finally locate the magnetic canister. Once i had the coordinates in hand, it was off to GZ. Tricky walk to get to GZ especially with the kids in tow, but got there in the end.
Kenny's bridge.... Up,down, flying around.... Well it felt like it.... We went to both sides of the river, back and forth up and down, several times, but somewhere we missed the obvious.... Will have to try this on the next trip unless I manage to get it on the way through tomorrow.... Thanks for the walk...
Ah...the Murch bridge. I have done quite a bit of work on it up until it was revamped a few years ago. People would have been shocked if they only knew how flimsy the deck really was just before it was replaced. Thanks cdmark
We almost gave up, but after another close look we found wp1. The cache was easy to find. Just follow the clues.

I had some lunch in the park to fortify myself for the search of the bridge, but as it turned out, it was a quick find. Quite a few cars crossing the bridge, but they were more interested in where they were going - just as well, because a semi carrying a load of hay, bulging over both sides came across. Needless to say no one else was on the bridge then.
A short walk and the final was in hand.
Thanks for the story, Robmc.

Having parked under the bridge, and also having already walked half way to wpt1, I turned and noticed that a police car had pulled up and was checking out my 4wd! That meant I had to return to my car to tell the officer that the car was indeed mine - and that it’s not stolen/abandoned, as the officer had originally thought. Anyway, once all this drama passed, I managed to find the 1st wpt, but only after consulting the clue. The cache was easier to find - TNLN & SL at 3:20pm. Thanks cdmark for the cache. I think we made this one hard for ourselves - but no matter we found it!

Found on 27/4 at 1pm. Searched wp1 & needed the hint to find it. Stopped for lunch at the nearby bakery. Interesting spot thanks tnln
The Rebel radar is allways on and the alarm was going off to indicate a member needed help, turned out to be Muzza, we were soon joined by others it was a bit of a mini event. Thanks cdmark for the cache.
I spent quite a bit of time looking for wpt1 without success. I returned to my car to grab a mirror to assist. I must have sent out a psychic call for help to The Rebel Alliance, because at that time, my compatriot Eric from Acts2YouthGroup arrived with Alansee.
Together we headed back and began searching. While there we were joined by Team Crackers, Vombatus and Full on Phil. The container was found, just as Biggles Bear were parking their car. We grabbed the details and returned the container for them to find. Annoyingly, they found it immediately.
The group then headed to GZ. Some went one side of the bridge, some the other way. For those that went the right way, the cache was quickly found. For the others, they joined us later. Thanks to CDMark for an enjoyable and very sociable cache.

We are sure that Mr Jacobson would be touched if he ever took up geocaching if he discovered the honour that you have bestowed on him. We had no idea that Murchison had had such a colourful past before doing this cache. As we approached a likely parking spot we spotted Muzza, Alansee and Act's Two Youthgroup starting their way across the bridge. By the time Vombatus, fullonphil and ourselves had arrived there was quite a gathering and it didn't take long before the information was recovered. Before we had a chance to replace the container an unfamiliar car with 2 familiar heads drove past. It was Biggles Bear also ready to join in. After another quick chat we all headed off to gz, some taking a more scenic route than others. At gz Biggles Bear soon had the cache in hand. Once the log was signed and the cache rehidden we headed off to the next one on the list
Thanks cdmark for another enjoyable cache, there seems to be some renovations to the old hotel since the last time we visited

Thanks again.
The story has already mostly been told of the rather coincidental meeting of several cachers all at the same waypoint. For me the funny thing was that while the rest of us were searching intently in the area of the hint, one person who was sitting a bit further away than the hint, playing with a child, put their hand down and found it without really trying! BigglesP managed to put his hand right there too when it came to his turn. Nice to collaborate for what may have otherwise taken somewhat longer, and thanks for the cache.

Stopped on the way to Shep but couldn't find waypoint one. Was a bit short of time so didn't try all that hard though. Maybe we'll have better luck on another trip.
Found at 2:45pm in the company of hiker3 & HikerSarah.
Having driven through here many times enroute to and from the mountains, I was well familiar with this bridge. It's much better now in two-lane configuration than the single lane with traffic lights of a couple of years ago!
The micro was collected and GZ approached. I spotted the hide, but let the other two continue searching until hiker3 unearthed the container. It was pleasing to see a consistent theme with the cache.

I obviously was'nt in the mood for caching today. First it bucketed down with rain, 2nd, I am sick and tired of groping under things I cannot see and thirdly it led me somewhere I thought anyway, was damn unexciting! And finally I could not sign the log because I had forgotten my pen, and the caches pen did not work!

Found at 1.40pm GAFF1 in the company of Rabbitto. This cache was very close to Rabbitto's old work mate who bought the nearby hotel. So we popped in to see what he had done and what he and his wife had done is truly amazing. Apparently the place was just a derelict building 10 years ago - rotting or no floors in some rooms, falling ceilings, rotting stumps etc. After a lot of work and money, you should see what he has done - especially with the inside decoration!! Should have been highlighted on one of those Lifestyle shows - Grand Designs.
We had trouble at WPT1 and were on the verge of calling for help when the container was finally found. At GZ Rabbitto was getting a lot of attention from the local beauties and it was a bit tricky to log the cache unseen. Thanks cdmark. tn/ln

I found our 2nd Cdmark cache in the company of Pprass at 1:45pm as the 7th of 17 on our Shepparton Shuffle I. I was excited to visit this cache as I used to work with the current owner of the Gregory's Bridge Hotel (which has undergone quite a number of name changes throughout it's history). I visited him soon after he had purchased the Hotel. This was almost 10 years ago and I hadn't been back again until today. The hotel was in a severe state of disrepair at this time. Quite a number of rooms had had their floorboards stolen. Ceilings were dropping from termite ridden or rotten beams. The front balcony was on a serious lean at the front left corner. Renovating this place would be next to impossible.
It was nice to be immediately recognised as I approached the hotel. After a chat out the front, he took Pprass and me on a tour of the Hotel. The transformation was incredible. The intricate work that has taken place on the inside is probably deceiving from its current outside apprearance. All 30 or so rooms had now been completely transformed. You could be forgven for thinking that you had walked into early last century as they had taken particular care to hold true to designs of that era. Right down to the exact replacement of parts of the stairway railings and posts which were missing or broken or the hunt for replacement ceiling panels which required an exact match. The most ornate part was the perfect use of stencil work around the top cornices of each room, all individually hand created. One day when this is opened to the public, it will become an icon for the area and Australia.
After about an hour, we returned to the cache and had some trouble locating WP1. Once found, the cache was an easy find. What can I say? The ladies love Pprass. Thanks for the cache from D B-A.

We were attending a caravan club muster nearby, but as there is always an opportunity for Geocaching we thought that the proximity of this one was an opportunity too good to miss.
When we first arrived there was a suspicious character with binoculars watching something/somebody on the other side of the river, so we decided to come back later.

It was about time I got this one. A quick Saturday morning drive to Murch with No 1 son and a small walk on a nice dry river bank path and the cache was in hand.
Took silver heart TB.
The pen could be on the way out as it was patchy. Didn't have a spare one to leave. When passing again I will see what I can do.

Well all I can say is OUCH - the metal gets HOT in the sun!!! Do not wear shorts! Took TB496974 Left TB Silver heart 4.
Mr Morris was on night shift last night and we headed off to Beechworth for the weekend. Lady Morris knew the tolerance for micros and multis would be low after 2 hours sleep, a stinking hot day and still a fair drive to go.
Wpt was a bit of a challenge in shorts but Mr Morris directed the seeking from below and it was a quick find - as was the hide. Tnx for a timely stopover.

Hmmm...increase the terrain rating to 5 if we have a sudden downpour again! The cache can still be accessed from the same side of the river but just on the opposite side of the bridge. There are some small concrete steps but please take caution. We also apologise as it is less scenic that way.
Found it today on our way to another cache and I recognised the pub from the picture on the notes. It was a hot day and the bridge deck was very hot but persistence won in the end. The trip to WP2 was a bit difficult as the stairs ended about three steps underwater. Once again persistence won the day and the cache was located. I was unable to sign the log as the pen refused to write and I left mine in the car. NINO but I did drop off "The Lucky Traveller" TB though. Its travelling up the Goulborn River at the moment.
