Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip. We are doing a bit of sightseeing around the Barossa using geocaching as our guide. We have enjoyed the remarkable sceanery while cruising the country roads. Great piece of history here. Thanks DISK, a fave from us.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Nuriootpa to cache the surrounds. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches - this is our preferred caching - not suburbs. Thanks for the smiley
Something special or unusual goes here:This normally pops up on the GPS when i am on the Sturt Highway and there is just no easy way to get to from there. So today i made a big detour and finally made it to GZ for a quick find. The Generic Bit:Had to head to Tanunda to check on a cache and had a few minutes to call in and grab a few unfound caches as well. [^] Not a lot of finds but some that were a bit out of the way or in areas I had previously cleared.. **SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks DISK for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
A short detour out this way to grab a couple caches on my way past. Quick find and all good here, cheers.

Gave it a good search but didn't see anything. The grass is long so that didn't help.
Stunning view! Headed out on a glorious afternoon to grab a few local caches. Tftc
I have just DNFed up the road a bit; happily this cache was nearby in reserve.
An interesting area of the Barossa, if this qualifies as Barossa. I came in from the east, and you pass some high points with views in all directions. The North Para carves quite a gully here,; you don’t get to see it from Gomersal Road.
Thanks for bringing me here DISK.

WOO HOO!!! Found it!!
On a beautiful winters day with the sun setting over the sweeping hills, we popped out to find a couple cache’s that have been “hard to get to” in the past.

Nice spot. Lid is broken with 2 large holes so it won't last any bad weather. Thanks DISK
This was one of my caches of choice to fill my grid for today - spent my lunch break out in the sun on some of my favourite roads - dirt!. A quick find TFTC
Found with Loopy1972 and Emzy10224. Container is broken, and was full of insects. TFTC.

Day 6 of our holidays and we started off out at Blanchtown down sealed roads, then back onto the dirt roads around the Kingsford property(McLeod's Daughters country), through smaller towns in the area and of course a cemetery or two. TFTC

TFTC nice find quick drive by out and about with geo wife LynSteNet and bullitmuffin 91
I was out North (Gawler) today and had some time to fill, so geocaching was the obvious solution. I took the opportunity to target caches that will fill gaps on the Jasmer grid and the hidden date grid.
This one filled a gap on the hidden date grid.
Found it easily when I arrived, so provided a little camoflauge after logging. The cache container is getting worn. One of the clips was not there and the other broke off in my hand as I opened it, but all the contents are still good. I didn’t have a similar replacement, sorry.

Came out along the road to find the cache near by, some great not so old tv history here yet some fantastic views to the old homestead just across the valley, to where a wedding was being held today. Cache was a nice and quick find.
A late plan made on Thursday night when attending the Cache in trash out event. Todays plan was to complete some of the Jack Bobridge Trail with David wazz and Jess Wrigley, although the heat was touching on 40 degrees still a great day, with a wine tasting along the way and 2nd loop of D/T grid now complete.

Although it was a stinking 40°C hot day, we wanted to use some of it for some outdoors geocaching, and so [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T), [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) and I made a plan to head north to Gawler and Lyndoch, and completed a section of the Jack Bobridge cycling trail, calling into a winery along our way. On the return back to Adelaide, we called past a strategic cache for [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) to complete his second D/T loop.
We had found the nearby large sized cache, so we went up the road to find this one. Argh, this cache has a much better description of the homestead in view. [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) had also heard about / recognised that place as a popular wedding location, and we could hear the music coming through the valley from there. I wouldn't mind seeing the homeset from McLeod's daughters, so looks like I'll be back that way another time. Thanks.

Dropping son off this way last night, we had time to kill before picking him up, so time to get some local caches. TFTC

I loved watching Mcleod's Daughters and will always remember Kingsford Homestead as "Drovers Run". It great to finally view the beautiful homestead and out-buildings (although distant) and the countryside I'm sure I saw in more than a few episodes.
A fabulous location!

Almost dark when we found this one. Moses on the move found this 8 years ago but remembered the right spot to point towards. Thanks.
Longish but nice walk up from Rosedale with geodog. A clip on the cache container is broken however and might become a problem when it rains.
Sadly I don't have any McLeod's trinkets for you but I can tell you that I was once an extra on the show. For those in the know it was an episode where they had a medieval festival at the homestead and I was an extra walking around in the background. It was the most boring day of my life. I found this cache two days after the 2016 Gawler River floods and the drive was more than interesting. Having dodgy GPS didn't help matters but I was so glad I persevered to this excellent case and fantastic views. Thank you
Rock On Mcleod's Daughters, loved that show!. Strange Man and myself found this lovely big cache at 10:40 on Sat. 27 Feb 2016. Left some goodies for swaps Tftc
Thanks for the find....easily seen from car - found with mrbuzzy. Loved the show when it was on

Finally - this one always shows as a nearby unfound cache as I drive up the Sturt highway - now it has been found, it won't bug me any more.
This was on the wife's bucket list for today after spending the afternoon in Freeling, gpsr took us to a dead end before we went the long way around, great views of the homestead, pity we could not get up and personal with the buildings.
Thanks for the cache Disk all was in good order

This looks strangely familiar.... Although I have never been here before. Nice location.
Found It!
Quick find. It always amazed me just how excited some people were about that show. It was just a few girls riding horses around pretending to be farmers...

There was water in the container. I emptied it, but everything is wet. Log is damp, but can still be written in. Needs to be checked.
