Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Nuriootpa to cache the surrounds. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches - this is our preferred caching - not suburbs. Thanks for the smiley Disk
Now that the bike series was completed we continued onto the Barossa series. LB bid us a fond farewell at Swan Reach so now the convoy consisted of feathertop, GoodLook,Rapidlywild, TheDame and The Drovers. After completing the Barossa Grape series we parted ways with the rest of the group as they ventured to another series that we had already completed. So it was just back to signing the log as Rapidlywild and FurfacesLL and we just let the GPS lead the way from cache to cache. Thanks for the hide DISK and thanks for a fun adventure Rapidlywild.
Plans have been in place for a little while now about a convoy from the Canberra Mega to head over to SA and finish off what currently stands of the On Your Bike series. Today being day 4 of the trip away, todays convoy consisted of GoodLook, TheDame, feathertop, The Drovers, FurfacesLL and myself.Today's primary target was the Barossa Grapes series of caches. Having "The Mob" finish the Barossa Grapes off, we went our own ways for the rest of the day. Some went off to do another series nearby that FFLL and I had already done, so we followed the GPS for a while and collected other caches nearby. We then went into Gawler for a specific cache and did a few more there too.A nice short stroll down to this one, and quickly had cache in hand. Log stamped with the RWLD and FFLL stamp and off we went to the next one. Thanks for the cache placement and maintenance DISK and thanks FurfacesLL for another fun trip away
Found it! This one took much longer than it should have considering how visible it was. Trying to knock off a few caches around my home town this morning. TFTC!
Found on my way past this afternoon. Short stroll from the road and cache was found. All good here.
Find #6294 on 31 Jul 2023.

Out with another team in a early morning stroll to get the blood pumping on this beautiful day. Trail was a bit over grown but the council workers were on the job as we were leaving so the slashing is done today!
Cache took a little bit of finding but given it has been in my to do list forever, I didn't mind. Actually a quick find once I stopped over thinking it!

Came in from the south for this one. Dogs did not start up until we had signed the log and moved out to the north.
Had this one on the nemesis list for a while. Saw that it was recently found so headed out and grab the smiley at last! Tftc
I visited this one some time ago, and it was absent without leave. I had noticed it has recently been replaced, so wanted to make amends on this one. I was heading up Phillips Ave and noticed a neat little side access path. I parked and use the path, through the gate and found the cache in the spot I had expected it. I had to avoid quite a few dog walkers out there at 5.17pm and managed the sign with them none the wiser (there were back down the hill somewhat, talking to neighbors). By the time I arrived, I noticed one dog was bigger than the others, well, there were quite a few things different about this dog. What a cool thing to see, took a photo to share with you. Apparently it is a regular occurrence in these parts, for him to be out walking with the dogs.
Thanks for the cache and the ongoing maintenance DISK.

Three caches in Gawler today between the showers.
A lot of the land that had been spared housing in Melbourne because of power lines ended up becoming freeways. You’ve been warned Gawler!

Quick find once at location. Saw some giant cactus specimens along the walk. TFTC HouseofJones
This one's been on our radar since moving into the area about seven years ago. Today the youngest member of thecoxcrew finally did something about it! Quick find was made once at GZ. TNLNSL. TFTC DISK.
Finally managed a visit to my head office in Adelaide and timed with a weekend so I could also collect a few caches. New LGA's for me and fav caches were the main caches of focus.
Took a bit of prodding but all good. No more than 2m from GZ and was happy after the wak and several minute search.
Thanks to DISK for the placement and fun.

In the area to crack Gawler Fort Knox and the other caches in the area Thanks TFTC DISK for showing us part of Gawler that we would not have otherwise visited.
This cache was found on our Geocaching road trip from Perth to Millicent for the GeoVenture2020 Event.

On International Geocaching Day, it was a day of geocaching centering around Gawler and the associated celebratory event held at lunch. I woke up early to complete the 5 km Parkrun in Gawler, which was a new location for me, and then I met up with gridge98 to drive around the various caches in the vicinity. After a few geocache finds in central Gawler including Clonlea Park, we then completed a few mini power trails such as the serenity series and Meat Trail.
After lunch, I went solo to continue solving multi-caches and collecting some older 2007 caches in Gawler. As it got dark, I drove along the Gawler - One Tree Hill Road to collect the intermittent caches along there, to arrive home just after dark to discover the whole blocks had no power for another few hours. A nice day out and finding in good weather.
An interesting division of land that required a walk to get to GZ. Some interesting cactus garden along the walk, so sure glad this one also acts as a BBB blocker. A few approaches tried before seeing the cache hidden away. Cache and contents in good shape, thanks DISK.

Walked back to the main road to the car to discover I did not have my glasses...

The division of Power 'Tower' nearby had enough to light up the Light-Stick in the caches' swag here today i reckon. It would be glowing even in the day

Back in Victoria generally there are public easements providing access to parkland between houses. I cruised the neighbouring street looking for one but because it was dark I either couldn't spot one that was there or up here in S.A. that isn't a done thing and there simply wasn't one between the houses.
So instead I parked at the top of the street and accessed the parkland via the corner. After a shortish walk I made the find of this decent sized cache. I was now almost at 25 for the day with 1 more to find to achieve the target.

Found with father xmarkphoto decently difficult but super fun because he couldnt fit in the tight space super fun loved it
Mr Tardis and Mini Tardis went for a nice short walk to find this one. Mini Tardis found the cache in the first place he looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache DISK.
