I have decided to archive this cache, as it has gone missing a few times. It served it's purpose of getting someone who doesn't go for FTFs to place a new cache. Cheers from Grandalf
I had not realized that this cache might have been missing until I took a look at the logs after searching for a few minutes. The cache was not in the obvious place which was also indicated by the clue. Sorry, but it may be gone.
After 20 minutes of on off searching avoiding muggles I still had not found it and the clues and title were no help to me at 16 years old!
Another case of shock and surprise at a Grandalf cache that we can actually get to! And get to it we did very quickly thanks to co-ordinates that were good and a hint that was useful – both a rarity for the caches in this area that we attempted this trip. Thanks Grandalf. TNLN TFTC
A grandalf cache? Within 5 minutes? Without tramping? We did not believe it, but it is true! And we are old enough to know Pink Floyd. TFTC
Oh how we love to log a Grandalf cache that hasn't required us to work up a sweat or spend ages looking for it!
Yeh! we actually found this easily.
Thanks it gives encouagement

Forgot to look for this cache during my Kaiapoi expedition in April, so time to tick it off the list.
Now I'm looking at the map, I see ten new Kaiapoi caches placed in the last two months! Sheesh, I'll have to organise another expedition now...

An easy find despite my GPS giving up the ghost easlier today. With a pre-marked map and PDA for location info the cache was quickly found Thanks
As Pink Floyd fans we had a good idea of what we would be looking for. This was fortunate as the workers over the road packed up and moved to the GZ area soon after we had returned the cache. A nice spot - and the third cache of the morning in Kaiapoi.TNLN TFTC
Definitely old enough to understand the hint in the title
Close to dark when I stopped here today.
Many thanks

Nice and easy find while stopping for first WP of Tour de Kaiapoi, and it wasn't raining!
Thanks, we need these simple drive-bys on days like today.

Found quickly once on site. R didn't get the PinkFloyd reference though. Luckily my folks were PF fans.
As someone who hasn't yet learnt to take note of the hints on the cache page, I am always pleased when the title is all the clue I need! Thanks.
Found it on way home from placing our first cache.

Quick find at end of a mornings caching. Neat spot. TFTC. Took Dark Side Coin to move on.
Nice One!!!!! Picked up this one on our way home from a great weekend of mall hopping in the big smoke. No problem with the find. Impressed with the town. We must return for a longer visit. Thanks
Just passing by as thought this geocoin needed to be located here as its appropriately named & it was given to us at one of Grandalf's great caches.
Know this area well! When they first landscaped this area & good ol' tussock was fashionable, they planted small clumps that in more fertile ground very quickly outgrew the focal point that it was ripped out! We found the cache on the dark side of the day. Thanks.
Quick almost drive-in cache. The last one before hitting Christchurch CBD. TFTC!
Revisted this cache (as it's in my mums neighbourhood) just before departing for Canada to drop off two trackables...enjoy
Cheers richbritty

First find for my mum and dad (grandma & grandpa Rose of Kaiapoi). A little busy witb traffic but always nice to think beyond the coordinates - great clue. Good fresh winter morning. Left two spinning tops and took small car for son. TFTC...off home to canada soon to search out more cache's. Cheers richbritty
Quick find. Felt very conspicuous with all the Sunday drivers going past.

All in all it just another....great Grandalf cache. I remember why it was originaly set up
Out here for work for the next few days, hopefuly I will get to nab a few other local caches.
Not sure why this has a "needs maintainance" icon, it looked fine inside to me, although there is only about 10 more visits in the log book.
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

Found with nzcoozer and even he knew how the cache name related - we must be old! TFTC
Find #99, closing in on 100! Sunny Sunday. The clue - "Wish You Were Here" - right? Thanks Grandalf for another cache.
Really easy find, maybe a little too exposed.
Picked up Jakie Chan Talisman, left colouring pencils.

Thanks to cachers I am beginning to think Pink Floyd only had one recording.
Approached this one from the wrong direction so had problems associating with the song at first, then had the aha moment. Thanks

Thanks for the easy find Mr Grandalf. My number 200. So cool. I am too young to get the meaning of the cache. Rchdlyn said "If I dont eat my meat, how can I have any pudding?".... TNLN.

A nice find - Hubbys eagle-eye spotted the cache.
I put the log book in a new plastic zip-loc bag as the old one was full of holes, however cache was nice & dry.
The cache does need a pencil replaced. I didn't have a spare to leave, sorry.
took Donald Duck
Left Red Glass Teddy Bear

Old enough that we thought we knew what song we were looking for but arrived from the back of the feature so sort of stumbled across it, then found the cache. Thanks.
have been meaning to do this one for a while now, a quick grab on our way to town, tnln tftc.
#1102 The cache is at the same point as a WP for GC156YK so dual purpose cache hunting. Neat! TNLN DS8300
You can't have a Pink Floyd picnic without The Grand Vizier's Garden Party Easy find. Cheers Gav [1766]
A quick find while we were passing, re-doing tour de Kaiapoi. Saw Greyboy66 here yesterday with the cache in their hands, so made for a easy find. Left: Dog.
Our second cache of the day on a sweep through North Canterbury to Oxford and back. Took Geocoin. LNSL
that was so easy it was not funny we also ran into another few geocachers doing a tour de kiapoi or something

First find for the day with a rather early start so no muggle problems at all and found quickly. Rather pleased you didn't select "Arnold Layne" as the theme, [ oops ] which is even longer ago!

It certainly was a quick find. And it also was the pink floyd reference that i thought it would be. +diabetes TB. Thanks.
The name stuck out for me, so ear marked a trip out here. Found the cache ok, good one, I liked it. TFTC
Quick enough find, but still don't know what the Pink Floyd reference refers to. I guess I am still too young. That's not been said for some time (I'm 43! )
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache.
Found with Troodles, Ed and Jess on way to dinner at Thai restaurant in Kaiapoi. Quick find. Unfortunately all of the grass had been killed off, so it's wasn't the easiest going for those in heals.
pleasant walk in the evening. second cache of the day.

We couldn't resist this cache due to it's name. This is a very public area and we tromped a bit until I remembered the hint and then found it right away.
Since I used to be a young hippie chick in San Francisco, during the height of the Haight-Ashbury days and attended concerts at Winterland/Filmore Auditorium in the early days of Bill Graham, I certainly understand it's meaning and definately appreciate it. It's fun to have this cache name on my list. Thank you for placing it.
