Hi everyone that asked how you crack this puzzle, since its now been archived I can now reveal the secret.
The puzzle is based on Pi (Which was devised by Archimedes):-
3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105...
The trick is too remove numbers form the below pie to reveal the final co-ordinates.
Step 1 - first digit of Pi is 3, so remove first three numbers 7,5,3 then you get your first number 4.
Then second number of pi 1 remove 1 number (9) revealing the second digit “6” and so forth until you have the complete co-ords. Thanks for all the interest in the puzzle.

I pondered on this one for ages with no success!!! Just when I thought I might have it, the answer would elude me . So..... what was the key to figuring this one out???
I feel this cache has had its day, time to clear up the area for new cachers.
Thanks to everyone that visited the cache during its life.

yay this puzzle had me stumped for years! I've had several good goes at trying to solve and Brett was cetainly no help
It had something to do with the decimal place positions for Pi, right?

Awesome cache, very clever clues. Thanks for the Deutsche Mark we found in there, was funny finding it with a bunch of Germans. We put some money back in there. TFTC!
First chance we had to come and find this cache after figuring it out after the event last week. Nice to have this puzzle off the list and nice to have a challenge. Thanks for the cache and the puzzle
Need to do a cache today, so decided this one would fit the bill.
Nice container - nice puzzle.

Isn't it funny how you can look and look and then that little light goes on. Yippee the geochecker says yes, now all we have to do is come back and find it.
Was in the area so thought I would check that cache, cache is doing fine and ready to be found. Thanks for everyone that has visited so far....
Solved a while back when taking a break from nearby RDCircuits. This one all fell into place for me and I liked the clever puzzle and clues. A very clever puzzle that has obviously received a lot of thought and attention. Great camo at GZ. Went and had a pie to celebrate. TFTC.
Found with roobi who had solved it first and reckoned I should be able to to. Which I did. Eventually. TFTC.
I'm finally in the area doing other caches out in the Northwest and am able to tick this one off. It was certainly a puzzle that had me bringing it out every now and then until I was pointed in the right direction.
My grandson actually found the cache before me. Out of the ten done today he beat me to 4 of them. He's getting to know how sneaky cachers can be.
Out: Geocoin.
Cheers for the cache.

Yay, finally can tick this one off! Had to be done as its so close to home. Thanks KiwiGary for help. We have dropped off a wee Leprechaun, who would perhaps like to be moved before St Paddys Day? Great hide and camo. TFTC!
Thought I had better make the effort to get this one after Gary so kindly replaced it.
The cache find was easy, but that was one of the meanest puzzles I have come across. Many attempts and many getting put pack on the bottom of the unsolved puzzle pile before I finally saw some light.

Due to popular demand the cache has returned after being repaired in the workshops, cache is in same location as before. Hopefully a little more waterproof now. So get out and find it .
Cache Update, in the process of creating a new cache for this one as the old one was leaking. Hopefully will have this all finished in the next couple of weeks.
Are you ever going to replace this Gary? Have been sitting on the solution for some time now, would love to be able to cross this off the list.
Cache unavailable, This little Puzzler has come home for some TLC, the cache is pretty wet and needs a new container. Watch this space...
Had a huge job trying to solve this one, got there in the end with lots of help. Puzzles are not my best occupation, but it had to be done as I had work to do in the area.
Found easily, both puzzle & hide creatively executed, cache in good condition, even after all the rain lately!---TNSLLNTFTCACHE!!

Nice to finally put this one to rest. Was causing all sorts of problems but finally after some prodding by the cache owner, finally got to cross it off my list. Quick find at GZ. TFTC

This one had been sitting on top of the too hard basket for way too long. Managed to solve it after getting a nudge from Gary. Clever puzzle, great concept. We had lots of trouble extracting the code, as our puzzle solving methodology was far too complicated for this elegant puzzle. Thanks for the challenge.

Uuugh! - very difficult to get on the right train of thought here. Needed lots of nudging, and a lot of faith!

This puzzle gave Rumo a hard time. Even after getting a few nudges from the owners, his brain could not tackle it. The solution just was too simple. Some weeks ago, finally it clicked.
Today, we were in the vicinity again and decided to finally tick it off our list. We parked on a different spot than the recommended one (man, we were so rebellious ), walked towards GZ, found several likely candidates and soon the right one. Rala retrieved the cache, which is almost out of her reach, we signed the log, admired the camo (needs some maintenance, though - the hot glue inside has come loose and water can get in) and had a little picnic.

19:00 On our way to get some dinner from the bakery, maybe a nice Pie. Here to check all is well with the cache since it hasn’t been visited for a while. The cache is doing fine. Thanks to all visitors so far. Where is that R & R log ?
Yes, a slice of the pie is ours!! This would be one of the best looking caches we've ever seen. Nice one. Our bionic eyes spotted it from only about 3m but only because we were pretty sure where to look, from the clue hint. Very good camo job. TNLN. Thanks for the adventure.
#707. Heh heh. After a fruitless 45mins in the GZ a germ of a thought led me to success. TFTC
Came armed with pies, marvelled at the debris from floods. Couldn't spot the cache from 6m away (don't have bionic eyesight), but found it quite quickly. Collected the Geocoin, TFTC KiwiGary
FTF.
Came out here last weekend pre-puzzle-solution and located the general area of GZ, and then after solving the puzzle this morning (after a sudden brain-wave, and a 2 minute solution) a quick find, about 100m from where I thought it would be.
Very satisfying FTF, having no clues from the cache owner, just good old problem solving. Approaching GZ, spotted the cache container from about 6m away. Coords spot on according to my GPSr.
Thanks for this fun puzzle.
In: Three 1975 NZ stamps ($1 geothermal power, $1 scallop, $2 circular saw) and a marble
Out: nada
Thanks,
Chris & Vera.
