US14 ET Highway Trip with Sol de Lune and Mtrax. Day 17. After spending several days collecting all the E.T. caches out in the desert, today was time to start traveling. We started by heading into Las Vegas, caching along the way of course. Then we flew to Wyoming. Time to cross a few more US states of the list for Caching. Thanks.

lol I A large and a Log only ooohh now I understand... nice one .. signed log... and left a few micro spares for people heading to ET

Heading to Las Vegas after completing the ET series.

Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax. Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, South & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.

I love it! This is the largest cache container that I have found. Signing the" log" was unique. Thanks for something different. Took a path tag, left a TB.

This cache was so big, yet so bare, so I left a bunch of stickers, note pads, a homemade squirrel magnet, and a mini Mexican clown Homie figurine.

Sorry, I didn't read the description until after I left. I will remove the swag I left when I go to Tonopah again in a week or so.

After a slow caching day yesterday, I really needed to get out and feed my linked habits of caching and hiking, so I set my sights on the Girl Scouts' Trefoil geoart. I finished it in 2.5 hours, walking about 5.25 miles in the process. I contemplated doing another geoart down the highway, but the new hiking boots I was breaking in were starting to break me in, so I opted to head up the mountain and pick up some caches that didn't involve so much continuous walking.

In the spirit of "just one more", I stopped by this one beside the highway on my return journey. Sure glad I did, it raised a resounding laugh. I've never seen a "log only" ammo can before, but I sure have now! Thanks for the extra wide smiley, Moose Mob.

Came out today to take the dogs for a nice hike in the desert. When we left the house it wasn't too bad, but by the time we got up here the wind was really blowing. Collected two of the toes of the dog paw nearby before we decided to head back and save the rest for another day.

Before we headed back to town, we decided to pick up a few quick ones along 95. Saw all the favorites this one had so we took the short drive up the road to grab this one. Once we got here we could see why this one had all the favorites (including ours). Very fun cache. One of the few where we checked out all the previous log entries. Found a spot and signed the log.

MPLC

It is certain that we will discover beautiful things but to respect all members of our team, there will be no search in the dark.

Found it with our friends Fullbrou and Fullbrouette on a sunny day. Thank you for all caches placed for our pleasure and make us discover new places. We had a lot of fun to find these small containers. TFTC

Stopped and just had to pick up a cache with such an interesting description. Sure enough I spotted it from a fair distance away and headed out straight for it. I suppose we could have taken the easy way but the find was made harder than necessary and definitely dirtier than necessary. Thanks for the hunt. Smile

Travelling from Tonopah to Las Vegas today, we stopped to find this cache. Stamped the log as Team Dragons Puke. We had great weather and a great time together! And caching through this part of NV was a different experience than doing the ET Highway. Thanks for the cache, Moose Mob! -- ORR

One of over one six hundred caches found today with Old River Runner, The red-haired witch and graylling on day three of our E.T. cache run. We stamped out logs all Team Dragons Puke. Today's goal was to get the oldest in the state and clear out another section of the ET highway.

Loved it!
