Logs
The cache is, indeed, missing.
We are aware that the company that owns the turbine runner is moving away from this location in 2 months, and it is rumoured that the existing office is to be demolished for the site to be redeveloped, therefore it is likely the object will be moved, so sadly, it is time for the cache to go.
If the runner appears somewhere else, we will consider a new placement.

Searched turbine then read logs, so trusted GPS. Only place that made sense and there was no sign of it
The last of four found on my first day out. Each one has been so different from the others. What a fantastic new hobby I've found! (and a good excuse to get out and wander about on these grey Waikato days). Thanks butterfly lady - I see that you're responsible for many caches in my area and I'm looking forward to working my way through them.
It took a little while to find this one. Tricky camo (for a beginner anyway!).. but very cool TFTC

In Hamilton for the weekend and event cache tomorrow. Interesting spot. Quick find. SL. TFTC.
162nd find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013. Found with sunalo at night, TFTC Butterfly_lady. As we were searching around the turbine, I happened to step in a small pond on the edge of the concrete slab and submerged my sneaker. After making the find, we called it a night so I could dry my wet foot... pond water, yuk!
Making the most of the school holidays. Trying to clean up a few traditional caches while the rain is holding off.
Wasn't sure I'd be able to get near ground zone with all the road works. Eventally able to park alongside. I didn't read the description on this, so fumbled around the turbine before waking up. Found after spotting the hide. TFTC.

Once I used the GPS instead of guessing I found the tricky camo in a drizzle Saturday morning while up here for a few days.TFTC
grabbed a cache with Becsicasa, grabbing a cache or two and logging some TB movements. First tried for this when I was new to this, amazing what a bit of experience does so TYVMFTC
Haven't been out for a while so Z-masterNZ and I decide it was time to wrap up some oldies.
#3 for the night.

A nice quick find cos I have seen one like it before. A cool camo. Interesting to read about the history of the turbine. Tftc
Woohoo, fun find, never seen one like this before. We rocked up to the turbine, and then followed the coordinates to the GZ, not really sure why, but the other half of the team reached out and the hide moved!
Found this one in the only place that it could be. I must have looked rather odd sitting on the wall "making" a call on my iPhone that didn't have a SIM card in it! My NZ phone was in my pocket! Oh we'll, a nice cache and piece of history. TFTC
Day 6 of our road trip to Auckland for Christmas. Looked in the wrong place to start with. Should have trusted the GPS. Thanks for the hide

Easy find. Interesting story about the turbine.
Thanks for the cache Quiri

This cache was found as part of my epic as move down south to Christchurch from Auckland - A drive that involved around 3,000km, 350 caches, 14 days, and a bit of a detour through East Cape, Gisbourne, Napier/Hastings, some back roads in the Wairarapa, Cape Pallisier and Nelson/Tasman as well as every CANZ cache along the way that I was still missing. (Hence my excuse for the not as interesting log as I usually try to make mine.) But thanks to every awesome amazing as cacher that placed caches along these roads, you made my trip awesome, and very cache happy!
A nice quick find here after the event

This is our second cache of this variety and collected quickly late in the evening. Love and whole heartedly agree with SteedandPeel's comment. TFTC
Quick find, it's a shame that you can only be baffled, surprised and delighted by a really clever camo on your first find of that type. I'm pleased others are still having that experience.
Great find! It blends in very well, so no muggles can see it I've been past this many times, and stopped and looked at it a few, so it was cool finding a geocache here!
This one was really cool. I thought it would be where it was and I said it would be funny if this part moved and sure enough it was the cache.
Found at 9:38:00 AM, a quick stop on the way to Rotorua. Have seen quite a few of this style of cache before.
Thanks Butterfly_lady

I drive past this turbine twice a day so was nice to read a little history about it. A quick park and grab with Alzaro. TFTC.
Hellaflump1990 and I drove to this location. Before I even got out the car I said I knew where it was. I walked past it, with a sneaky peak and said, 'found it'. I love this type of cache. So natural looking for anyone not in the know, but for a cacher, who found one exactly the same out near the Auckland airport a few weeks back, what a cool discovery to find a similar cache. It was great meeting you at the caching event up in Auckland a month or so back. Nice to find more of your caches. Thanks.
Quick find on way home from skills day. Great to stop and find out more about turbine.
First geocaching endurance adventure for Geomatt123 and I, we loved it . Didn't even have to come out off the car before Geomatt put his hand on it TFTC
Found this one while on a 14 hour caching raid around Huntly and Hamilton with Friwinz! Really enjoyable day. Tftc
Standing looking at the Turbine - turned around and saw it straight away - good hide - very busy road TFTC
Thankfully we've seen one like this before so this was quick. The hardest part was putting the cache back as kids appeared to play nearby Tftc
Thanks. Nice place for cache. The turbine is cool! One of the magnets has come off so not sticking as firmly as it could.
It was lucky that we had come across this type of cache before - otherwise I'm not sure we would have found it
Such a park and grab my brother found in 5 seconds
TFTC What a cool cache

This cache is the coolest one I've seen. Havent come across this type before. Log needs replacing
Nice sneaky hide. The log paper is completely used up...just squeezed onto it. Thanks for the cache
Great Cache. Have never seen one like this before. Took us a while but when I trusted the GPS, we found it pretty quickly! TFTC
I've often passed this spot and never stopped, so caching was a great reason to call in! I searched high and low, though I was getting nowhere when suddenly I recognised a type of camo I'd seen before once...and sure enough, 2 seconds later had the logbook in hand. Love the camo! TFTC!
Careful read of description, trusted GPS, thrilled to find it Great camo; our respect for butterflies grows! TFTC
Second attempt at this one and a pair of fresh (if not younger) eyes spotted it first. Awesome camo - have never seen this before. TFTC
Clever hide, lucky we had seen one of these containers before recently in Invercargill [8]
We came over to Hamilton for the Family history Fair so I had some
spare time to find some new cache's TFTC

I had spotted these cache's on line and had thought they were a very cunning idea. B2 and her Bro were completely lost and then gobsmacked as I showed them the cache. TFTC
OK our mission this trip was to collect all of the puzzle caches we'd solved but who could resist a drive by cache? A simple find, since we'd been introduced to this before up north. TFTC
OMG can't believe I found it. This was my first ever find woop woop! It was awesome! Thanks!!!
Stopped by this morning to replace the logbook (which has now dried out) in a new plastic bag. My apologies to Need A Burger whose log is on the temporary sheet of paper I left in the cache yesterday and which is now in my handbag after I swapped the real logbook back into the cache this morning! I disturbed someone at the cache site today - was that you, Need a Burger? Or someone else having a look for the cache?? Whoever it was walked away as I approached before I could say Hi
Anyway, logbook is all OK now and ready for the next cacher

I drive past here twice a day, but have never had the time to stop. Had a more leisurely drive to work today (school holidays!) so I had time to do a quick grab. Cache was exactly what I expected so a nice easy find. Was not able to sign the logbook - paper too wet. The plastic bag is badly split. I had a spare with me (oh I am such a professional Geocacher now ) but too big for this cache container, so I'll see if I've got any better ones at home. Have taken the logbook away to dry out (left a piece of paper in its place) and will return it, nice and dry, and in a new bag, tomorrow.
An interesting piece of history and a big one too.
Lots of camera's around this carpark but a nice quick find meant we probably didn't disturb any one.

Been meaning to get to this one for a LONG time. Fantastic camo, love it! Nice quick find with thequiltys and friends.
Nice hiding, I really like these geocache containers. Quick in and out with brand new GPS unit. TFTC
Found it second time round after reading back through the logs. HMMMMM pays not to think to hard sometimes.

Very nice cache, different and not that easy for newbies, but the excitement when found was amazing.
Found a long time ago but forgot to log it... Fist time i'd seen this type of hide! TFTC
Very impressed with the camo of this cache-we were apprehensive at first as we're definitely newbies, but managed to find it by a stroke of luck.
Considering that we spent a good 20 minutes monkeying around in the wet it was a bit of an excitement! Was there at night, so not too many Muggles. Have to watch the nearby railway as cars will back up when the barriers are down.
