I had intended to just find a new location for the new container but then decided to change the whole concept and go with a traditional and every body can find a new cache.

14-Feb-14
As of 14/02/14 the signs are still in place but no burning off has occured yet and with the weather as it is and the area so dry it may not happen soon. I will keep a watch on it.

25-Jan-14
Made the trip to O/G but there are signs that are telling the public that this reserve will be burnt in the next couple of weeks so aborted my efforts to sort out this adopted cache.

Hubby did the sums (he's good at them) but we couldn't find it.

After 2 dnf's I am going to temp disable this cache and i will check it out to see if its still there ..

21-Sep-13
Bogonghazy and I did the sums and searched GZ and stretched our search for about 20 metres around GZ. We came away empty handed. Sad Thanks for the hunt though RedPaw64, I'll return again another time.

21-Sep-13
Sorry for the late log, that makes 3 DNF's, with Sully's still to come

15-Sep-13
Did all the calculations and came up with the location. Spent 15mins searching GZ but to no avail. Rechecked calculations but no issue there. Found what would have been a perfect hidey hole at the exact coords but no cache there so suspect it may have been muggled?

08-Jul-13
This find relied on my maths skills to work out the coordinates, luckily it was my best subject at school, so piece of cake. Geokid1 is getting good at entering the coordinates. Fortunately it was quiet, so minimal risk of mugglers.
Enjoyable geocache! Watch out for the darn mozzies.

This one was a bit harder (compared to the other cache in this park). Thankfully we had some paper and a pen to write down all the answers and do the calculations. Rhys went around the playgrounds and told me the numbers we needed to work out the location. It was Tahlia's turn to find this one, but I got so excited I yelled out when I found it. However, I let her get it out of its hidey spot so we could sign the log book. Hid the cache again, off to the next one.

Find # 2967

Well, on the road again with my regular caching partner in crime SedgwickDave on our normal weekend caching run. This week we decided to head to Geelong and then on to Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale. The weather was looking cool, but rain free, so we headed off at about 8AM.

It was almost time to start thinking about heading back home, but not before finding just a few more caches!! After gathering the required numbers with the help of my scribe, we quickly headed over towards GZ where I managed to find the cache in the second spot I checked. Cache was a bit exposed, so I covered it slightly better.

Thanks to RedPaw64 for the cache. TNLN

Maths didn't work out. After 3 tries gave up. Bit of clarity would help re monkey bar rungs.

12-Jan-13
Grabbed this as one of about 40 in a nice weekend down on the coast.. It was the last weekend before I started back at work. I was keen to cache, and was encouraged down this way by the chance to Orienteer, Body Board and Cache.. I ended up also staying the night, although the original plan of attending an event at Ballan didn't eventuate.. Had a great weekend, thanks to the various cache owners for your part in a great weekend..

I counted up the required info, however stumbled on a count that didn't work out.. It was obvious I couldn't get it right.. a quick PAF did the trick, and although he didn't have the coords, the description saw that I found it in the first place I looked.. (some how).. Thanks Red Paw 64 for the cache.. Find #3368

Got a bit confused with the coords after an incorrect count by the team on one of the hides. Quickly worked out our mistake and found the cache. Good little hide thanks!

We've been to this park before - thankfully we didn't get attacked by mozzies like last time. I messed up the co-ords the first time. When they were fixed it was a quick find. TFTC (thanks for the Cigarette) that was in with the log book, We removed it from the cache.

17-Mar-12
Found @ 21:50 on a weekend getaway with the family. Everyone else had gone to bed so I figured that I'd grab a few nearby caches. This was the closest. Night makes for an easier visit to a play ground (unless I bring one of the kids), but makes gathering clues harder.
I counted and performed the arithmetic then made the short stroll to GZ. My coordinates had me at a different structure but my cache sense told me to look elsewhere. Bingo, cache in hand.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and I'm not sure that a cigarette is an appropriate cache swap (but I left it where I found it).
Thanks for the cache RedPaw64.

Found @1225 #1034
Was down at Queenscliff today as the GF was completing her diving course and therefore had the day free to pickup some caches in the surrounding area.

This was the 9th cache found today. After gathering the required info soon at a GZ that made sense, an easily quick find. Today there was no one around which made it easier, but of others maybe not so much.

TFTC RedPaw64.

17-Dec-11
Pathfinder24 needed to make the trip to Queenscliff to pick up a puzzle cache we had solved, so there was no better excuse needed to pick up some other caches in Geelong on the way through. I had solved a few other puzzle caches ready for this trip but I am a big fan of multi’s and as this cache was on the way to the Ripper Cam, we decided to stop. It was still really warm, and there was a massive birthday party going on in the park, but they were staying firmly at their food, so we were able to collect the clues and the cache with ease. Thanks for the cache RedPaw64

17-Dec-11
Another days caching adventure with LouiseAnn, this time we had the pleasure of her long suffering no caching partner as our driver. With a number of puzzle caches in the area worked out - and one in a particular devilish series, we were keen to head down the 'other' side of the bay. LouiseAnn's partner was also picking up a shiny toy from the area. At more typical start time of around 09:30 we met at the work depot and headed off down the ridiculously boring road to Geelong. This was a quick find on our way to ripper cam. There was a large muggle party going on in the park but thankfully they were staying at the other end to where we needed to go. We got the clues from the car then took a quick stroll to the cache. This was find number 7 for the day. The cache is in good condition. Thanks for the cache RedPaw64.

Back by chance today, was on the way back down to Queenscliff to finish a few I printed out 8months ago, but unfortunately Geo-son, broke his shoulder in between the first and second that day. I put the iPhone in search mode and saw that this one was back up. After being the final DNF log I would like to say thanks to RedPaw64 for getting it back up and running again. PS Winter/Spring is much better than summer as far as the "Air Force" goes down this way. TFTC TNLN.

2nd last cache for the day. Calculations were easy and GZ found (?) but only spot was an empty hole about right size for cache. May wait and see if others find and then try again. It hasn't been logged for a few months.

Found by Team Ladava with the Grandchildren around 1.15pm
A very pleasant multi. We all enjoyed this one.
Babysitting the Grandchildren is a great excuse for caching.
The kids let of some steam on the play equipment and the better half of Team Ladava chatted to a fellow dog owner while I did the calculations.
We were probably lucky to find this one as I was rather amused to see the recent alterations to the cacher notes.
We were working on the old version printed out in 2007 as it has been on my 'top do' list for a long time and it still worked for me
No. 1 grandson was determined to take the key ring and in our rush to get down from Sunbury to pick them up, I forgot the swaps so left a $2 coin. Sorry
Our thanks to RedPaw64 for bringing us to this location and the cache.

After a few days (weeks) without serious caching we thought it was about time to get back into it, and we chose this cache to "cut our teeth". Wow, what a wintery afternoon. While waiting for the showers to pass to locate “Find The Monkey”, we were able to play with the numbers for this cache. In what could have been confusing monkey business we luckily came up with the correct co-ords - after sorting out a possible ambiguity; and quickly found the sought object, before proceeding to do “Find The Monkey”.
We think there is plenty of room in the log book – all you have to do is log in the reverse direction.

Couldn't work out the right coords but the Monkey Man from nearby cache said that part of the playground has recently been removed which explains why we were so far out. May need some readjustment done on this one. He pointed us in the general direction and we explored until we came up with the goods. Ta Muchly.

16-Feb-09
Either my calculations were out or the coordinates were a smidge off, as I spent too long looking just a little east of where I needed to be (only a few metres, mind you). Having finally found the cache, I then had trouble extricating it as it was fitting a bit tightly in its hiding spot. At one point I thought I might have to endure the frustration of having had my hands on it but being unable to log it, but at last I triumphed. Phew! A pretty park suffering in the drought. Thanks RedPaw64.
