As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Yes it has gone. Have a new container / cache but tried 3 times to go and work on it but too many muggles for my own cache!!
May need some extra work on the receptacle but will find out when I get near.

I'm pretty sure this one has gone. There was only once place it could be without me going over the cliff edge and the receptacle that looked like it should have been holding the cache was hanging loose.
We very soon had this cache in hand, and stayed a while just enjoying the view.

#995; @0815. Went out for jogging this morning. Decided for the route east from our temporary HC in Kohinamara to find some caches there.
Fifth today. Running from the east I have soon found out that there is no direct path to the cache. Well, had to have a closer look into map and used the standard approach from the SW. Very nice view from the place. Thanks for showing me! TFTC. Greetings from Slovakia. Pe.
Found and logged on my HTC/c:geo

Almost had to leave this one unfound as a muggle was near GZ, but luckily she left as we approached the lookout. Amazing views to all over Auckland from here. TFTC and greetings from Finland!
We invited our friend to do some geocaching with us and this was our number 1 cache. It was pretty easy to find. Great spot sww.
NZSalacia yay! first find for the day Thanks for the treat. We managed to squeeze one in for the next person. Happy days
Originally logged and found whilst out with mum (keylev) but now have own account so logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Thanks for the cache.

Wow what an awesome view!!! Will definitely be back in summer when its a clear day but even with the mist and slight rain this was great.
Very quick find at GZ although cache container has a split down one side probably because people have been stuffing little toys in it that are slightly too big.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Out for a bike ride, ended up right at this cache without knowing it was there. Opened the app, and hey presto, less than 5m away
I found this before P for once! Forgot to bring a pen but great cache. Muggles tend not to stay long.

Had to snaffle it out without the nearby Muggle spotting us, Number 1 son was up for the challenge. He had it out and back without attracting attention. Cacher extraordinaire
I have never been here before, what a view alright, did the other local caches too.
Great views, especially on a day like today watching the rain roll across the gulf. TFTC.
No muggles today. Cache quickly found. Sat down and enjoyed the views and talked to the one who made it.

What an absolutely stunningly beautiful vista from GZ.
Just have to award a fav point as this is what caching is all about.

Needing to find 50 caches in a day at least 1k apart, for geo licence challenge; I had decided today was the day, as I was already up early, dropping my daughter off at the International Airport at an un-godly hour of the morning.
#25 - The rain had stopped but the wind had really picked up. The car was being rocked by the wind, thankfully it was blowing me up the hill. TFTC

Every now and again a cache just takes your breath away. Found it while walking with the family. Awesome cache neat little hide, simply awesome location. TFTC will upgrade to premium just do I can award a fav.
Had to wait ages for people to leave, but stuck it out and got the find. After reading the comments looked in wrong place first and thought it had disappeared, thankfully the long wait meant I was not going to give up without a fight and found the right spot! Great hiding place! Tftc
Have wanted to get up here for ages and finally found myself with a chance to admire the view on a nice sunny afternoon today. Wasn't expecting to be able to find the cache on the way up as there were already a few people hanging about but I must have looked extra dodgy as they all left pretty quickly and I had the area to myself before too long. Only one suitable place to search and the cache was soon found without any hassle. Great spot - TFTC
Great little cache and a great spot for a sit and think. Haven't been this way for years but still an impressive view. If you find an older map, the track you walk on up to this lookout, is shown as a road that goes al the way through to Glover Park....mmmm...I could see a few problems there...re overseas tourists and rental car GPS units...I shudder to think ....
cheers V.
cheers V.
Too many muggles enjoying the sunny day. Will have to come back on a cloudy day
WOW! Thank you for placing a cache here... otherwise we wont know such a beautiful spot exist! Took our time signing the logbook, repairing the cache a bit, and enjoying the view. TFTC
Another great view of the water, we were a bit too early for the tall ships but we had seen them a few days earlier, so decided to move on and find more caches. Thanks sww.
Another great view, we waited for the muggle family to leave then had the place to ourselves, just sat and watched the activity below, a lovely spot. Thanks for bringing us here, nice clever hide too and TFTC
It certainly is a wonderful vista - lots of activity on the harbour today - boats, yachts, tall ships, millionaires toys and the sealink car ferry. Great wee hide for the cache. Many thanks for encouraging us to walk up the hill...cheers Fleur
Nice little hiding spot ... Made challenging by the muggles!

I was having endless muggle problems down at the point lookout so came for a walk up to look for this one. easily spotted, and a pretty nice view today as well. TFTC
A beautiful spot and a wonderful view to Rangitoto and the city center at this morning.
The cache was quite easy to find. I enjoyed it.
Thank you very much

Found this one fairly quickly, as there were no muggles up here today, (quite miserable and cold). Cache container and log all good.
Headed straight for GZ. Waited for muggles to leave and quickly had cache in hand. Love the hide. Very well done. TFTC

Saw something familiar when I went for a walk here today while in Auckland, visiting from Nelson. A log book flapping in the wind!!!! So wasn't actually looking for this cache but kind of found it anyway. I don't know where the original hiding spot was, but I have put the log into a plastic bag and stuffed it under the north end of the seat, at the base.
#440 What an amazing spot- today was a perfect day to wander up here. Found the cache quickly and lapped up the sunshine while I could. TFTC!
Thought our second visit would be foiled by a muggle sitting at GZ, luckily they moved off on our approach. Gorgeous views from GZ, but a mission to complete first, nice easy find, tftc
Even nicer than the neighbour cache at the official lookout. Hey, and they sell a nice house here if someone is interested. Looked nice but is definitely way over our savings...
Enjoyed the views and signed the log. Thanks!

Favourite location of the day. One of the most amazing views in Auckland. Happy to have completed this with a quick find.
