This place was a test long before a treasure was ever placed here.
This is a tricky Golf course and has maintained a high standard right from the start.
Now this treasure has come along the high standard continues with a hide that just begs to be found.
Well done T.Trudi and I hope the course does not offer you to many obstacles.

Yay, another for the day. Didn't take anything but out a Brisbane lions badge in there. Growing lions.
Coming to the end of a night cache we came out this end of the woods and stumbled accross this beautiful building and was lucky to pick up a tb to move on. Tftc
After years if driving past this location I never knew this bluestone building existed. Thanks for bringing me here.

So geocachers aren't the only mad people who get up early in the morning to pursue their hobby?
This was a lovely looking golf course, and a pleasant spot to look for our last cache in the area before resuming our trip to Melbourne. And nice for still sleepy brains to have an easy one to find.
Thanks

The light was only just up as we drove into the golf course, but there were some eager golfers starting their morning, nevertheless. As we approached GZ I saw an old mower or small tractor and wondered whether we'd be looking for a micro on that. That would just be too much, first thing in the morning. But it was a much easier task than that. Thanks.
Really quickly found, it wasn't covered up at all by the previous finders who had visited earlier that day. I put a brick on top as a bit more camo.
Quickly found with the help of a local while down from NSW for the day, lovely spot here, tftc
I was heading back home after caching around Whittlesea and Eden Park. I was passed the cache before I know it because I wasn't expecting it to be in this particular place. So after a U-turn, it was up the drive and park. Although there were a few people around, it was trouble free stroll from the car park to the "growling cache".
As well as signing the log, I have left a GeoCoin that the owner would like to get to New Zealand. Perhaps the next person to pick it up could help it with more success than I could...and please, make sure you log its travels.
Thanks T.Trudi for a cleverly placed cache.

My second cache, my sister erin-rose brought me to find one with her.
Lots of bugs, but a good hide. Walked up to the area right away.
Thank you!

Another foot bleeding Geocaching adventure today on my Cache #100 for Xmas goal. This was no 5 for the day.
CACHE # 75 !!!
This was a good one for a milestone cache. A great example of what I like about geocaching. I didn't know this place was even here and never would have but for this cache.
Cache is in excellent condition. TNLNSL Thanks T.Trudi for this cache and giving me an idea of somewhere new to try out for dinner one night.

#3386 This place is pretty popular on a Saturday morning - lucky for us they were all in the clubhouse or out on the course. A few places to look, Dad soon located in a place that he didn't expect. Our thanks to T.Trudi for the cache - no swaps today
Heading to Bonnie Doon for the cup weekend. with Happy Chappies. and families.
A very good looking golf course. When we were walking up to G.Z. i noticed it was locked up.
Thankfully all good. An easy find.
thanks T.Trudi [:x]

Felt a bit conspicuous in our big, bright yellow agricultural-looking Defender as we drove into the lush grounds and parked it next to the German sedans and crisp looking company dual-cabs Even moreso when we hopped out looking like anything but golfers.
But no one seemed to care as we wandered over to GZ. Not sure what to do at first but we just resorted to a likely spot and there it was....
Very cute to see a golf glove in there as a swap! TFTC

Heading north of Melbourne and heading across to Yarra Junction, I saw this cache was listed and thought I'd quickly go in and get it, easy find and signing of log, a pic taken then on my way. TFTC
Found with nirgalagrin... now I have my own account.

Starting the day on some computer maintenance in Broadmeadows, I cast about for some caches to do, and decided to head east. This was as good a place to begin as any.
Parking was plentiful, the sun shone, and the guy doing laps around us on his mower took no notice as we headed off to enjoy the view from GZ. The cache was a simple grab, and big enough for the little one to have fun rooting through, before I waited until the mower was on the far side of his next lap, returned the container and we were back at the car by the time he wheeled into view.

12.50pm On my way back from Yea driving through some 3,000 cyclists in the rain I was glad to back into normal traffic.
Lovely open area here with no parking problems at all. Did a casual walk over to the historical ?? Nice easy find and suprised that the keepers dont find it.
Took in the view, magic

Today was another epic cache run with best mate ahomburg thru an area of Melbourne I have not visited until today. This was one of 32 found and we also had a few DNFs.
After had 3 straight DNFs in a row it was good to finally get a find under the belt. Never been to this area before, a nice spot and the likely location for the cache was spotted from a distance. Thanks for bringing me here T.Trudi. No muggles seen playing this strange game today. TFTC

Find # 1782
After a late night at the WWFM IX event in the city and just three hours sleep, I was picked up by my caching partner in crime, sedgwickDave and we headed in a northerly direction towards Whittlesea and a massive day of caching.
We parked in the car park and headed towards GZ as a light patter of rain started to fall. I had not looked at my GPSr, I assumed I was searching the right spot, when all of a sudden dave said "have a look over here" and sure enough the cache was found not where I had been looking. Not a bad view over the Golf course from here. [^]
Thanks to T.Trudi for the cache.

Arrived at gz and was surprised to see the cache hidden in such a visible spot, especially when there are more secluded spots, but credit is due for making it so obvious. Nice views too. TFTC.
Nice place. I always love seeing a site like this one. Gives me something to google when I get home. TFTC
We liked the locality of this hide, very picturesque and also a great place to have lunch. Enjoyed the hide site too. Left a travel bug here, thanks for the cache.
#1146 Heading north to Echuca for the 100 year Reunion of the High School and picking up a few caches along the way. There seemed to be an obvious spot to look but while I was still contemplating if it matched the hint my geowife searched and found it. Took the Dog TB to move it along Thanks T.Trudi.
I play here regularly and never thought there would be a cache so close. Thank you.
After having a round of golf at Whittlesea, I thought I would just do a quick couple of caches as the area is new to me. Then I get to this cache. Guess I will have to come back next weekend at try out the golf course and driving range!!
Nice hide but took a while for GZ to de-muggle! Interesting area though - TFTC. Dropped a new TB here from NZ.

First for the day. Nice spot up here, and great views. Left golf glove, yer thats right "a golf glove" dosen't everyone have a golf glove in their caching bag? Took happy meal toy. Thanks.
Loved the area. Such a nice looking course and surrounds. The rabbits were all out in play. Found cache easy enough. Wonder what the structure used to be? TFTC Raainjoy
Found @18:10 in the pouring rain on a Friday night out caching with GeoDad. Even in the horrid conditions this is such a nice place to visit. TNLN TFTC!
Found by pen.sco @ 4:15pm. A few muggles about meant we had to time it right. Kids had some fun looking thru the swag. Swapped one car for another and the wristband for an orange head. TFTC
Lucky i had read the logs before hand as was a very quick find. Used to love playing golf here I took up geocaching but now I have a different hobby. TFTC TNLN

I spotted a wee corner of the cache and realised access was required from inside the building but there is no longer any access with metal grating being placed over all doors and windows. I was able to manouvre and coax the cache out of its entrapment and I have replaced it in the same place where it can be readily accessed from the outside. That may also explain why it hasn't been found for a while. May I suggest the hint be changed accordingly.
Thanks T.Trudi

Quick easy find, got some strange looks when I turned up on the bike. Think they thought I was going to turn their pretty lawn into an MX track. SL T4TC
went to this one long ago with TrynaFindaCache (was Ben170292 at the time). thought it was about time i signed the log. i got there, opened the cache and had a quick flip through the log book just to see all the new entries. as i went to sign the log i realized there was no pen. and i didnt have one on me. i will be sure to go back and sign the log with this date. TFTC
Alansee helped retrieve this cache. Lots of empty beer bottles and other rubbish here unfortunately - in stark contrast to the golf club house, where we ended up having a nice hot cup of coffee! TFTC
Awesome view; the other half golfs here but my first time. Took the Geocoin and left the appropriately themed Hole in One TB! TFTC
Nice easy find in a lovely location. Left Mr Slots TB and Caching with Kids Coin.

31/12/2010 20:50 Found: #159 Easy with hint. Whilst I did initially walk right past the cache, I simply didn't expect it to be there. In plain sight so I put it back a little more hidden this time. Plenty of beer bottles in the walls so I assume its a noted hang out for those that like to part-ee. TFTC TNLN SL
This one was easy, TN LN, did not sign log no pens/pencils. Others beware of beer bottles, nice and quick cache.

We were sure where this one was hiding while we were making our way up to GZ, but it as it turned out the rusting hulk wasn't the home were looking for. We were even more surprised by the mural and the baby bunny living in the wall winking at our searching.
(''\(OoO)/'') Thanks T.Trudi for the caching fun!

A bit of a different hiding spot... But i like it. This was my third visit to this cache, and muggle factors prevented my finding it on the previous occasions, not this time however. TFTC.
Easy find... scared it will be found by all those who drink in there. Tried to hide it a bit bette rin it's spot. T-GeoCoin, L-Epic Barrel Aged IPA bottle cap.
TNLNSL, had to search every place before finding it. Drive past here everyday and never stopped for a look so thanks!
Found on another mega day caching with bogonghazy. I was lucky bogonghazy didn't have his golf clubs in the car, or I may have been short a caching partner for the rest of the afternoon!!
It's great when a new facility retains relics from the past for the benefit of all.
The course was tempting, but the look from Reesylou when I suggested having a round was enough to leave ir for another day.
My thanks to T.Trudi for another interesting cache, TNLNSL
