Adding a note here to say I looked hi and lo but no sign of a cache container. I had previously found this one and thought I could help another cacher find it but our efforts were in vain. There has been a lot of water here in recent times. Also a lot of rubbish on the side of the big tree makes me think cache has been washed away.
Suspect that the floods earlier in the year have been through and washed this one away. The ground was still really really wet. Had a good look but was unable to find it.
No luck here. There has been a bit of water through here so maybe it has gone swimming.
Quick assessment of how to access this one, according to the logs it hasn't been found for a while so we we're a bit concerned until an idea came to mind and the cache was soon in hand Found with JJBoards - TFTC!
# 461 Another long week and I was looking forwar to getting out of there and blowing off some steam. No work this weekend either so I should be able to rack up some numbers. Have plans to get out and about and collect some of the more tricky caches in the area as well.
An interesting walk behind apartments to a quirky little park. Still have no idea what the title or hint were refering to, but it was late and very dark so maybe I missed something. Maybe things have changed in the 5 years between when it was placed and me finding it.

I wasn't aiming on doing this cache or any caches today I just some how found myself checking what was in the area while I had to pick up a part from the wreckers.
This won looked interesting and I did have a few minutes so why not.
It was a beautiful walk to GZ, the sun was shining the birds were singing.
I soon had the cache in hand and managed to score a tb!
It was a bit muddy getting to GZ but worth it.

For us, unfamiliar with the area, it was more a search for
access than search for the cache. Some unsuccessful approaches
with dead ends before being on the right track. Very sneaky.

Found this one out whilst walking geomutt & with kids struggling with GPSr that doesn't have a magnetic compass but we got there in the end. TFTC.
Although we approached this GC via wrong way first, no problem to find it. Nice walk and GC in good condition. TNLNSL, TFTC Turbodine.
With the children over on Stradie for the day we,Geo Mum and I (GeoDad) were free to have a day of caching caching caching.
We decided to concentrate on this area so we could try for a good number of smileys.
We had a fair bit of trouble deciding whre to approach this from surfice to say that shortest is not always best.
After a slight incorrect deviation we found the prize quickly but were disappointed to see that both the Trackable and the GeoCoin seem to be missing.
Thanks trudodine TFTC TNLS SL

Been meaning to check this one out since shadowassassin found it, and with time to spare on the way home from work dropped by. TFTC. Took nothing and left a rubber cockroach. Loved that the cache had many elastica products.
I'm just slowly making my way south for a week-end out on the bike. The second day on the bike for me down the coast.
Why didn't I find this last time...well it would help if I entered the right co-ords into the GPSr. I was miles away last time.
With a new GPSr I soon found this cache. The scrap bit of paper that is a log book was wet. So I added a new log book in a zip bag to this cache.

No luck for me here.
I was not sure which side of the fence it was on so I climbed over and checked both. No luck on that side either.

This one was the most challenging hide for us today. It got already dark and and we could not find access to the area. After a bit of driving around me and my geowife found it. TFTC
I had a look for this one quite awhile ago and with little time available was unable to find the entrance to this one today we had plenty of time and the cache was soon to hand SL TFTC
Found the right way in after a false start and got to GZ. Cache was quickly found. As mentioned previously, log book needs replacing. TFTC turdodine
I had some trouble finding the track but then was fairly easy going. Found after a bit of searching. Couldn't understand hint at all - prehaps hint item has gone. Little piece of paper for log also very wet. NEEDS NEW LOG AND PLASTIC BAG. TFTC
The water has receeded and GZ is easily accessible. The log however is ruined, so left a small piece of paper instead. Thanks for the cache.

Took a while to figure out where to access the pathway to this one. Pleasant stroll on the pathway. GZ is basically an Island currently so shoes got a bit muddy retrieving this one. Quick find once there. TFTC
This was cache # 15 of 24 for the day, on a great day out caching around the Gold Coast. I was glad I read a few logs prior to this one as the suggestion of starting at the BP worked for me, I did this one under the cover of my umbrella as the sky decide it wanted to rain. My thanks to turdodine for the cache.
man there was a very big spider on the box i found not happy i throw it dawn and ran my man had to go and get it geeeeee i hate spiders but TFTC
Enjoyed the quiet stroll along the path. Managed to dodge the mud to find the cache. TFTC
Parked behind the big bong and was confronted by a wire fence ...... GPS indicating the stash was only a short distance ...... luckily a man came out of the rear of the building opposite the big bong and when asked how to access the park he told me to go to BP garage and the path led from there ...... sorry I forgot to write down the co-ord of the garage but it is easy to find as it is at the end of the complex ..[D].... an easy walk and the cache was mine ...... stamped book, but as others have stated, it is saturated, and urgently needs replacing ...... contents also could do with upgrading

Log booked is soaked through and needs replacing. Would say I signed it, but it was more like engraved.
Needs some TLC as the log is very wet, the seal may need a cleanup to do its job better!
Log was very wet today....
Dried out log bag - but think log will go mouldy soon w/out some TLC

Found today (16:29) while out with Ally-Searching (geo-daughter)...
Nice walk around the park to this one after GPS tried to take us through the nearby retirement community....
Plenty of muggles in general area but actual cache vicinity muggle free making for easy cache retrieval.....
Log was very wet - was in base of cache container ..
Dried out log bag but couldn't do much re drying log unfortunately due to time issues

Found by Mary & David at 1155. Tried several approaches before we took the right one. Some lovely real estate around here. Our thanks again to turdodine.
Found this one fairly easily. Needs some love as it is soaking wet.
Took coin but the TB is missing. All that remains is its goal sheet and bag.

Half the fun was finding the best approach. Nice area for this one. Unfortunately its a tad damp after the rain (log book included). Cleaned it out as much as possible but some items will need drying. TFTC!
TFTC. Nice Sunday arvo walk. (only a bit of rain)
No sign of the "Globetrotter TB".... I think it is long gone.
I left "Never Board" tiny trackable snowboard.

Was nearby here today so swung in - with the sudden downpour a little earlier the water was flowing - should I..... well no real hard decision really TFTC
I enjoyed this little hunt.. although my first access point was blocked by an eight foot fence
Having found another access point, it was a bit of a walk, and it was quite a good place to walk, so I am not complaining
Thanks Turdodine.

Well this one was an adventure/nightmare. Note the following:
1) If you are running to this from Nerang, there are NO shortcuts. You are better off following the road. Every street, path, and bush track runs into a river, very large fence, or private property. Trust me, I tried every single one of them.
2) Exactly as it appears on the map, the GZ is on the north side of the long stream - not between the stream and the fenced community on the south side as my GPS led me to initially believe.
I suffered for the art on this one!
Thanks for the cache.
Signed the log. Took nothing, left nothing, uttered a great deal of expletives.

Hmmm! What's going on. Visited this cache today and enjoyed the hunt and the hint led me to the cache. Thanks. No muggles. Cache well hidden. Rehid. Took a Geocoin that is supposed to be in Fill Up down in Surfers apparently. The two TB's that are supposed to be in this cache are not there. Where are they? Maybe in Fill Up?? Left: Nail Brush and a box of chalk. SL. TFTC.
Found at 1040 hrs at last. Had been at the spot before but now with trusty iPhone I was spot on. Traded in old yellow car for nice new green VW.Spider got out of my way. Thanks to GPS-RNAV for nice new log. Covered cache with leaves. Clever cache and clever clue.
Have looked for this one several times. GPS working now. Play had to stop when light went. Will be back.
In Surfers for Tech.ED so had to do some caches. I initially drove around in circles for a good log way before finding a way in. I ended up at the Billabobg shop, having spent most of my youth surfing this was heaven as surf is in short supply where live.
The cache was retrieved easily enough.

Found this today. Took a while to find as co-ordinates kept walking us in circles!! kept going back to same place and eventually found it!! Good hide and well hidden. Took badge and left an Aussie Koala fan!! TFTC!!!
[Found GBlock III bloody big bong tonight just as it was getting dark. We were driving around madly to try to find access to the area before it got too dark to trek about and hunt for the cache.] Access was gained by us by turning into Bosun's Landing, just west of the shopping area most people seem to use to try to find access. Then turn left again and look for a pathway through between the houses to the 'park' beyond. [Clue was very clever and helpful. If we'd arrived 10 minutes later it would have been too dark. Saw no Globe Trotter TB. Sure hope it turns up. Too many people seem to forget to log the TB's. It's a shame so many go missing. TFTC turdodine. Took nothing. Left a large lizard and a car.]
Just a short question: has anybody seen the travelbug Globetrotter in this cache ? I'm asking just for interest, because I've had this TB a long time ago in my hands, and it travelled more than 20000 km !
Thanks for the info !

16.21 Found after too much time driving around. We parked and read previous logs and found parking co-ord in a previous log. Once we got there we could find anywhere to park. There were a huge amount of cars in this tiny street. Finally got in and found the cache. The log is seriously wet. I had no spares today. Tried to sign the log but mainly left an imprint.

Lucky I was on the MTB and rode around from Gblock V Tranquility (discovering new paths and bridges in the process!) as it would be a challenge initially to find GZ if I had driven. Took me a while and wasted a lot of time on a fallen tree....just about to give up and go to VII Eagle and there it was! The spider had hibernated for the winter!
Let me know if you want me to drop a new log in (I live close) as this one is soaked....might dry out nicely in the sun for posterity?

Found this one no problems after I figured out how to get there. Spent bit of time driving around Industrial Estate. Best approached from Ashmore road side. Bring your puppy for a walk in the leash free area. Log still soaked. Wish I'd read the logs first. could have brought a new log as old one is Still soaked. TFTC
Tried to find this one 2 nights ago and gave up in the dark . Found it in full daylight today. The clue is helpful in the daytime but not so good at night with a poor light! The cache is still in major need of repairs and maintenance. The log book is soaked through and there is a pack of guiness playing cards in there that are also soaked. I signed the log carefully and tipped out some water. It is a weird little park which would be hard to find if you weren't geocaching. I parked the car at S 27 59.313 E 153 21.538 which made the walk in as short as possible.
Thanks for the cache.

Didn't see any Bongs around or Rubber things for that matter, Not sure of the meaning here. Water was really dirty after recent rain. Probably a nice little spot on the right day. TFTC
Parked the car. Thought we could get closer. Drove around and found we could not. Drove back to the original position. Parked the car, walked 500m to find we were 170m from it and the access was cut off by construction work. Seemed like a private property. So circled it again and came in from a different location. Walked 500m to it and found it ok. Looked to where the construction was and saw it was the normal path for public use. Arhhhhhh. Just looked like at the time the place not to go walking through.
Nice hide. Not sure what the bong connection is about!
