Wow, I can't believe that nobody has found this after the replacement was placed. Got there first and signed the log. Not really a FTF but still an undisturbed cache full of booty was a nice find!
Found at 1056. Aquick find in a nice shady spot. couldn't read the nearby faded sign but took a picture anway.

Just like the others - we never knew this place existed. TFTC

Would have never known this spot existed were it not for the geocache. Cool little spot; reminded me of a mini stonehenge. TFTC.
I never knew this place existed till I notice that there was a cache here. I was told that normally latte stones sites would be crawling with Taotaomo'na (Ancient Chamorru Spirits) and they would normally rest in this tree called Trongkon Nunu. When my dad and I found the place, not only was the latte stones there but the tree as well.
So I was excited to look for the cache, but afraid to go near the tree. So I slowly looked around for it and as I got closer to the tree I kept saying, "Dispensa yu' Guelo yan Guela, Dispensa," which meant " Excuse me, grandma and grandpa." By grandparents I meant the taotaomo'na. I kept saying it non-stop till I found the cache, logged in, placed it back and stepped away from the tree.
My dad at the time happened to be smoking near it and he said that when he followed me to see what I was looking for he said I felt something tug on his wrist. Even when we left it seemed to hurt a bit.
-He told me that it was probably a spirit getting mad at him for smoking nearby. He also told me that even though foreigners would come near the tree sometimes the spirits wouldn't bother them, but because my dad was a local and knew the rules.. He said it was probably a spirit saying, "You know better than to smoke." It is always proper to respect your elders here on Guam especially if they are the Taotaomo'na.
*SORRY LONG STORY BUT HAD TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE!
Thanks for the Cache btw and remember be sure to ask for permission and do not harm the tree.

Finally went out this morning and grabbed this one. Staying at the hotel Nikko so I would be shot if I left without getting this one. Thank you for the history lesson on this one. Tftc
Out on a 100 Cache Dash with DDRAMS and Oki-dude today. Started at 7:45 am and hit cache number 102 at 6:15 pm. Cache is in good condition. Number 94 of 102.
This is my third favorite cache of the day.
Really, this is what caching is all about.
When else would I have occasion to come find this truly historic tableaux?
Amazing.
My son and I are going to make a challenge cache here.
Certainly worthy of a favorite point!
Part of an epic caching day with the CO and Oki-dude (See http://coord.info/GC1FGFP).

Found with DDRAMS and the very, very generous support of Blygoat.
We did all the work ourselves, but Blygoat did the driving and knew which caches to grab and which caches to pass. DDRAMS and I took him up on his amazing offer to assist any cachers who wished it to set the record of finding 100 caches in one day on Guam. Both DDRAMS and I had the same record, previously, of 42 caches in one day.
We certainly beat that record today!
Thanks for the Cache.

Sorry so late logging these. Was here for a week for work and had to make sure to do some caching while out.
A delayed plane, missed connection, airport issued hotel and food vouchers meant just a little more caching in Guam!!
Out Caching with some friends, picked this off and moved on to more!
Have gone by this area many times - never new there was a cache here!

Did this one at night. Would have been creepy by myself. Talen671 and I went. TFTC!
This one was part of my small quest to find 10 today. Mission complete. --Deadmoney
Returning to the hotel after a long walk in the midday sun, I walked the extra few metres to find this one. Thanks for the cache!
My GPS was killing me today so it took me longer than it should to find the spot that doesn't require an X. TFTC. Also found a WWFM pathtag and only now realized I need to register somewhere else to log it... Will most likely just drop it somewhere else soon...
Found it early in the morning before my flight to Narita.Hard to take out.I took the Tara Mtn. Geofest pathtag.TFTC.I hope to come back to Guam soon.So many caches. So much fun to be had.pattayadave
Beautiful area, enjoyed the welcome shade from the tree as we sifted through the contents.
Found! I've been wanting to pick this one up, just reading the title alone. We made the trek, and it was a pretty trek in fact. We get there and to our dismay, the leaves are all gone and Im wondering, whether or not this is a good thing or a bad thing. Quickly enough I spot the cache, and ask Geotrio671_Angie to make the grab. Seeing as that she just woke up from her slumber in the car, she isnt up to it! I try my aim at making the grab seeing how its a tight fit, and pull out at a correct angle, and VOILA! Talk about JENGA! One thing about this cache is putting it back in the way you found it, but the cache is safer if you do it right. Saw some japan pathtags in there, and some swag for the kids. Signed log, and then put it back just as found. We did cover up the cache with some natural camo, but it will still be an easy find for the next cacher, and not so easy find for the maintenance staff that frequent the area. Thanks for the cache!! TNLNSL
Came with Blygoat and Kiwika. Hard to take out and put back. Took something left something.
Found this yesterday before leaving the island. Dropped some pathtags into the cache. Neat location that I would not have found otherwise.
Cool spot. I have not seen this many latte stones together at once yet. I liked the nice walk

A long way from home for Boswijk Posse, but the team has now expanded to include a Hong Kong division .
While on a short break to Guam, to enjoy some shopping and sunshine, I pointed out the two caches close to the Nikko hotel and send them a screen capture of Google Maps so they could find it despite not having a GPS device.
It was a good thing I pointed them to this cache, so they got a better understanding of the latte pillars as initially they though these were sculptures representing sake bottles in honour of the many Japanese tourists [:o)].

My wife and I found it today, while looking around. It's near a place I used to visit often for lunch. Stop by a fast food and grab a meal, and then come out here for a scenic snack away from the office. A Great place to cache. Thanks for the Cache!!
TFTH Enjoyed the flowers along the way and the old Latte stones. Left a mashed penny.
At 1658. TFTC. Date and time are Guam's local time zone.

OK since we’re such night cachers and sannnROX and Sher_Bear had found this already they just lead me to the cache area. I wanted to get this cache since we just finished “Beachside View.†But they warned me that it was near lattes and a taotaomotna tree. I respect our ancestors, but was still down to chant to ask permission and find the cache.
While we were walking up the hill to the lattes, I stop and tell Sher I’m feeling light headed and I can sense a strong presence in the area. But not to freak them out I told them the presence was our ancestors and they just want you to know that they’re there. But I was feeling something push me back, not wanting me to move forward.
I take a break at the plaque and then find the log, sign it and leave. Then on the way out I show Sher my arm and she could see all my goose bumps. Just wanted to prove that I’m no lying when I said that there’s a presence. Whatever it was if it was guelo yan guela it escorted us out and left when I reached the parking lot.

Found this at 4am before my morning traning. Didn't know about this place so got to GZ with a flashlight in hand and walked around. Looked at the tree and thought to myself, perfect better not make any noise or I'll get some new friends following me around. Found the cache quick and it was still full of treasure! Then I decided to point my flashlight around and finally saw all the latte stones, ok now it was time to leave nice and quietly. TFTC Logged from my phone using the Geocache Navigator by Trimble
Oooooh so scary at night. We had to watch for the tennis playing muggles and break out the flashlights.

This was my first cache! Found it with frankcan and 671stargazer. Did it in the middle of darkness and had only one flashlight. Nice hide. Took a ping pong ball and left a lighter...with fluid. SL TFTC! No muggles around to stop us this time.
taotaomona tree was pretty scary. If it was even that scary tree. haha. We were pretty freaked out. Didn't have coordinates or anything so we had to seach on our own. TFTC
TFTC! We got interrupted briefly by the rain...once it stopped, we went back and 'ransacked' the place...heeheehaha
