Hello,

Took a visit over the weekend as I was visiting my parents out that way. It appears the signs with the info for the clues have either been stolen or are in the process of being upgraded.
All that's left of them at the moment is the adhesive that was holding the signs to the rock!!!
I'll take this cache offline until I remove WP1 to make it possible again.

Reasonably familiar with the area so drove to the carpark and headed to WP1 without any difficulty. I have been here when the water was roaring through and yes, you really do get wet from the spray of water but it is the sound that I remember as being the most incredible noise! However, once I arrived at WP1, I couldn't work out where I was supposed to find the required information to answer the questions and work out WP2 Will have to come back and try another time...
We'd decided to have a day canoeing down the river from below the dam wall to twin bridges so it wasn't much extra effort to find the cache. First time down this side of the wall and fortunately there was no water being released. TFTC
Great cache for us all. The kids enjoyed the maths challenges, they also learned a bit about hydro electricity.
Nice cache in lovely area. Clues take me to interesting parts of the dam I would not normally visit. Thank you for the tour.
We enjoyed learning about the dam and power generation and found the cache easily. TNLN TFTC
Had a bit of trouble working out the maths then worked out how to put the numbers together and all was well. Drive over here regularly and always wondered how to get to this side, it was great to finally have a look. Made a mental note to definitely come for a look again if the Dam is ever over flowing. Unfortunately I didn't find it. I found WP2 by eye, after being unable to work out the "yyy" (syntax missing in equation??)
collected the coorindates for the cache and went to the location, after seaching for a while, darkness came in and had to retire for the day.
Went to leave and got to the gate and nearly had a heart attack, there was a chain and padlock around the gate. Luckly it was really locked just made to look like it.
Great views, will have to return and try again.
P.S.
Always wanted to find out how to get there. Now I just need to wait for it to flood.

Updated initial description to include road directions.
The starting point can be a bit hard to find for those not familiar with the area.

After a false start I found this cache in the company of hudcap. Signed log, TNLN. TFTC
I knew where this multicache was located but have never taken the detour in there before. The first location is an absolute corker, even with no water down the spillway [^]
After overcoming the dizzy spells, I set about calculating my way around the area to the cache's hidey hole
Just as I approached the cache, up drove the ranger [:o]
So I headed back to the geomobile and dropped off my backpack before heading back to grab the cache
Not wanting to be caught with the cache in that location, I retreated back to the geomobile again with just the logbook. As I approached the cache for the third time to replace the book, up drove a maintenance vehicle [:o]
So back to the geomobile!!
A few minutes later and another quick dash back to the cache to rehide everything went undisturbed !!
TFTC, I left HAPPY TB to enjoy the views.

Find Number 1439- I think we may have set the record for crossing the dam wall. After some solving and driving, Tom and I found ourselves fascinated with the dam wall and gates. What a fantastic spot to end the cache hunt. Thanks very much. Cheers THENANKS
It was interesting collecting the data. We found the cache without too much of a problem. Only crossed the bridge once but were a bit puzzled as to how to get to the spillway area. We enjoyed doing this cache. TNLN. Thanks The_Sentinel_
Found by Penguiny at 1200hrs.
Lots and lots (more than 50) turtles swimming in the water below. And lots of slugs on the cache itself.
TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache.

Hit this one with the back up crew, the olly's.Our maths was a bit rusty until master olly pointed out a finer point and we honed in on the gz.(sheeesh....I think he's going to be a rocket scientist )We also got the record for the most dam crossings in one day...ha ..but thats another story!!Well done for your design of a multi. Drive thru here once a fortnight and have been intending to stop for ages. Glad we got just the prod needeed. Surprised to see hundreds of turtles in the puddle that passes for our water supply. Had a few numerical problems but got there anyway. TFTH
