Accio 09:58:24A weekend away with T4mmmy and Suki the geo-wonder pup. Bit of some random wonderings around southern Toowoomba today. A qucik find of this oldie. Thanks Crystal Cacher for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12849}*
Crystal Cacher I found your cache Rudds of steel on 24/10/2024, 11:35am. This is my find 7185 and find # 8 today. A quick and easy drive by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
The Minister for War and Finance is away for the weekend, so I have a free day today for a hike and some caching. With a lousy forecast of lots of rain in Brisbane, I thought I would try my chances and head west where the forecast looked better. It turned out to be a good decision as not a drop of rain fell on me today.Whilst looking at a possible list of caches last night, I targeted a local of challenge caches, as well as a few other caches needed to complete other challenges. One of these challenges involves multi caches. So I made a point to stop for every multi I came across today. Only this one is no longer really a multi - but a stat is a stat right? All in good order here. Glad to tick another older cache off from my Q1000 oldies list. Many thanks Crystal Cacher.Pete#8,803
Coming to an event at TableTop Mountain I had a couple of additional caches on the list that needed a This Multi was on our list to swallow up Many thanks!
I had to head to Toowoomba today to drop somethings to my Sister. After that I stop to do this Multi. Information was gathered then I headed to GZ. Cache was found and log signed. Cache was replaced back where I found it. Crystal Cacher thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for geocaching community enjoyment.
Recently introduced to Geocaching. Thoroughly enjoying doing this with RobS72. Interesting find. Nice location. TFTC. TNLN. Find #19
After spending the morning attending the Lusty Languorous Lockyer Locations Event at Plainland, Wyrm77 and myself headed up to Toowoomba to do a spot of caching.Quick find once we arrived at the GZ. Just had to wait for a break in the traffic before swooping in.TFTmultiC. TNLN. SL.TB Prado Owl visited.Find # 1730.
In Toowoomba for the day caching and at the end of the day we concentrated on Steele Rudd based caches, which, after working out the coordinates brought us to the final location. Other caches, especially an AdLab, use the general vicinity as points of interest about Steele Rudd. I was introduced the works of Steele Rudd through the early TV films based on Dad And Dave and later the books the TV films were based on. They are classics!
Out and about in South Toowoomba late at night, any caches nearby? Sure are!! A multi no longer Ill still take the smiley! ?? Cover of night helped with this one, seen hides like this before, quick park and grab. TFTC!! ???
Down in SEQ for a few days to celebrate the life of a caching ambassador and a great friend Karicka. It’s more than likely he’d found this one.
Greencordial assisted in making this a park and grab knowing how I favour this type of hide and container.
Thanks Crystal Cacher for adding to my day.

Stopped off here and made a quick find with help of hint.
Thanks Crystal Cacher for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

It’s about time I began to head home after the Townsville mega, so I’ve ended up here. I was a bit nervous with the nearby school, but had the cache undetected! Thanks for the puzzles, the caches, the different to the usual finds Crystal Cacher.
We tried today this Multi, and found the cache to sign the log.

Took 2 goes at this one today. First time there were lots of passing cars so didn't want to hang around looking for long. I was looking for a nano but second time I came I realized I was a little too focused on finding a nano that I missed it.
Signed and put back.

On my way home from the QOGM and continuing my outback adventures. Today it was leaving Goondiwindi heading up the Gore Highway to Toowoomba and then a slight detour to Highfields before a straight drive home to Brisbane. I had a list of caches to collect and places to see, some oldies and some for a grid position.
Next on the list was this one and we parked reasonable close to the cache. With it no longer being a multi it was a short walk to grab the final. With log signed and cache replaced as found we were off to the next one. Thank you for placing this one here, a nice spot for us today but I guess it does get busy here at times.

Found as I meander my way from Adelaide to Cairns.
With no real travel plan and three weeks to get there before I meet up with friends, there has been plenty of opportunity for sightseeing and finding a few selected caches along the way.
With the final coordinates provided, this was a quick multi.

My first trip to Drayton in a long while. Here I parked over the road and strolled over. I went up and down a bit, hoping I wouldn’t have to stick my fingers where I couldn’t see, but eventually I just toughed it out. TFTC where all seems OK.
Out and about with the indefatigable Domskys and Tenkae. We hiked Redwood Park first thing in the morning. Attended an event for lunch and catch up with fellow cachers. This was our first multi after the meal.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Crystal Cacher.

We were visiting Toowoomba today, and after a nearby Geocaching event decided to come and find this oldie.
We had a look at the nearby plaque, even though this one really is now a traditional.
Then, following our GPS, we made our way to GZ and soon had the container in our hands.
Thanks Crystal Cacher

The Palace Guard constitute the main security force for the Patrician's Palace in Ankh-Morpork, as well as convenient muscle for the ruler of the city. Unlike the City Watch, who serve the Law first and foremost, the Guard are subject to the sitting ruler's commands above all. During the brief reign of the noble dragon King, members of the Guard painted images of a dragon on their breastplates.

Steele Rudd seems to pop up occasionally when I’m out caching. He must’ve got around. Quick find. Thanks for the cache
30/5/21 Find #4828
Today Fangsoki and I needed to head to Toowoomba, to hang around to play taxi to my youngest child, 1GiantPanda, and his best friend upon completion of their weekend volleyball tournament. So we decided to goal for today was for me to collect some of the older caches around Toowoomba and along our journey.
We pulled up and I dashed over to make a quick find..... of spiders web all over my hand!! Drat! I knew the cache was in there tho, unfortunately it was pushed in a little further than probably necessary, which meant the spider had plenty of build room.
Well with the web on, and now removed from, my hand, the hole was free enough now for me to reach in, trying not to think about the owner of the web, who I had not seem, and make my grab.
Log signed, cache replaced, we were off on our way again.
Thanks for the cache Crystal Cacher.

This cache was easier to access due to school holidays and with great parking we made the dash for the hide. TFTC
TFTC Crystal cacher, was here a few days ago but too many mini muggles about. Scored a smiley face here today
TFTC! Finally I can put a smiley face on this one. Last time I was here a storm was brewing and it was a quick look to no avail. Today on this public holiday, I had it in hand rather quickly.
Grey nomads travelling around Australia in our caravan. Held up a bit due to Covid19, so currently in Queensland only, but there are plenty of caches in our home state that we have not yet found. Currently, doing a lap around South East Queensland, and we are house sitting nearby, so able to enjoy the festivities of the carnival of the flowers.
Close to our house sit, and on our way home, dropped in for this hide, cos it is school holidays, which means no kids, no traffic, and an easy find. thanks Crystal Cacher

Each morning we have stepped out of our hotel to grab a coffee across the road. We normally work out how cold it is by just how fast we get to the top button on our jumpers. The wind in the heart of town is vicious and the race is always on to cover any patch of skin.
Mrs Woodyrothwell was filthy that she had forgotten to pack her beanie. Luckily she has one of the most kind-hearted, generous, supportive, handsome, reliable and amazing husbands on the planet and so I packed it for her just in case. This morning it was that cold that I did the big reveal of the beanie and won even more acclaim. I need something to relieve the pressure from my big but beautiful head.
This was our first stop of the day and my wife was happy to have her ears rugged up. tftc

I remember doing this one as a multi, years and years ago. Very lucky to be able to do the same one with my own kids now
Needing a cache for our calendar today, we ventured out to Drayton towards this cache. Upon parking the car, WallabyTim said that he had previously found this one...oops someone forgot to log it. And sure enough, once we found it again, there was his sign on 30-04-2016. Oh well, he since married MrsWallaby and joined accounts so we signed under our new name
Without reading the description, I had added this multi to the list of caches for the day. I parked nearby and read the description. This is going to be a really quick one! I was soon adding my name to the log. After returning the cache to its spot, I continued on my way. TFTC
Family connection attached to this multi. Seems surreal being outside an establishment that would have dealt harshly with delinquents not listening or learning. Seems to be a family trait!
This was a quick drive by and collect with no WPs to check out. Thanks for bringing this area to life Crystal Cacher.

The long awaited Toowoomba geocaching weekend is finally in progress - Gcoven, Team ARF, Ardom and myself have booked out a house, gone on a mad puzzle solving frenzy and made some crazy plans. Time to collect those smiles.
Out and about on my new bicycle.
A quick find here and now homeward bound.
Thanks for the cache.
