No response from owner. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Wow, needs maintenance in January and still here, time to go.....

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 21 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Planning a visit to Orewa in weekend - wondering if this has been checked lately as lots of dnfs???

Attempted to find this without success. Without an immediate find we checked the recent logs and decided to give up on it.

We could not find the micro - so we made a photo.
Please have a look if someone took the micro away.

We are on our second caching holiday in New Zealand. We had a record setting day yesterday, but today was not such a successful one. After two DNF’s this morning this one was our first find for the day. Thankfully it was a nice easy find. TNLNSL TFTC

Wow - great disguise, and surprised this survives without attention from someone. TFTC

We went camping on the weekend. Arrived at the campsite, set up camp, and realised there was a cache just over 100m from where we'd set up camp.
So after we were all organised, went on a bit of an exploration walk.
Got the GZ right quicker than the GPS (the name gave it away) But had to do two laps of the spot before spotting it!

Bit of a long shot even considering looking for this one after all the DNF logs. But a DNF for us also. Perhaps its time this one was replaced or archived.

DNF for us too. Looks like some maintenance has been done recently, wonder if the cache has been a casualty?

Either that or we missed the point of this one and got too fixated on one (or two) area(s)

#44 between the pulse in the traffic i spent a lot of time looking on the wrong side, eventually went to the right side and located it quickly.

Yesterday, we arrived in Auckland. Today, on our first day with the campervan in New Zealand, we were heading north and our very first stop was in Orewa. We walked a bit on the beach, saw our first Norfolk Pines - and then we looked for this cache. Easy find.

With the 800 northernmost traditionals on my Garmin, we check if anything is close whenever we stop - like we did here to have a look at the beach. As is most usually the case, there was one in the vicinity - and it was soon discoverd.

We were staying at the nearby camping ground over the long weekend and decided to start off by doing this one first.

When we arrived at the location we encountered the new geocachers, snugglemum. It was nice to meet up with a group of first time geocachers.
