I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

[u]MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?[/u]
[navy]This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
The guidelines advise; "if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can." and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235

Please respond to this situation within 28 days to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/navy]

Hi there The olly's,

Your cache "Aarr-koona" was last found on 3/05/2015, 100 days ago, and has had 6 DNF's since that time..
Is there any chance you could do a maintenance run to confirm if it is still there - - and replace it if it isn't.
If that's not possible then please archive the cache so that the spot can be freed up for someone else to use.

Regards

Ian & Penny

Searched high and low on the way back from the pinnacle. Some prickly plants, dogs barking, cars constantly passing - eventually succumbed to the stress and gave up.... will have another look when nearby again.

Having come from up the road.. I quickly had this one in my hand.. For some reason people had decided to squish everything inside the container right down so all I could sign was literally a scrap of paper the last person left..

Might be time for some maintenance maybe??

I had a few minutes before work today and had to CITO an item that I noticed last week that is going to be great for a new cache that I have thought up. This cache was in there area where I had to visit so I thought it would just be rude not to drop in for a visit.

The hunt took me about 5 minutes of looking everywhere whilst dodging the morning traffic and not looking to sus. The good old, I'm on the phone trick really helped me out this AM.

Once I had found the cache I took a seat on the big rock and went to sign the log... Well, that was not really possible due to the cache condition. The cache is literally a swamp and even after a clean-up attempt, I was not really able to write my name on the mushy log.

Thanks for the cache The olly's though some TLC is really req'd here.

Out for a morning geocycle starting at Peregian and around back via Coolum, this is about the halfway mark in km but not the energy as I still needed to must the strength the head up to the Pinnacle. Cache was exposed and hence an easy find. Some cover not conceals the cache containerCool

[After a busy morning at the shops, our afternoon was spent celebrating a friends 4th birthday. Only a few hundred metres up the road was this cache...

The light was fading, and the kids were tired. But nonetheless, a few kids and the Mum and Dad (me) ventured out for this find.

An easy find really]. Height not essential as implied in previous logs; it was in easy reach after climbing upwards first.

[Navigated by the Mum, found by me (the Dad), with help from EM (kid #2) and JZ (kid #4) and SP (kid #3). TFTC]

So the awesome Ayepeacee and I headed out tonight for some EPIC night caching in the sunny coast region. We were missing Nyssaflutterby, our third caching musketeer, as she was off holidaying. This was our second cache for the night. Our search took a little longer than it should have, i found some random piece of wood nailed to a stone, hmm is this the cache? what IS this? Definitely not a cache, but strange.. eventually the cache was found thanks to reading the previous persons log.. kinda takes the fun out of it if you tell other cachers where the cache is Wink nonetheless, it was found, and we had fun searching, and when we sat done on the convenient stone to sign the log, Ayepeacee noticed that there were some sticky seed things sticking to my jumper sleeve.. but wait.. argghh.. they were everywhere! up and down my jeans and everything. So after a long effort at picking them all off, cursing the plant that did it and returning the cache, we were off to our next adventure. TFTC The olly's ^^

23-Jun-12
=) Stopping at some random spots on the map on the way to Coolum for a night caching mission with Brightskies and this one was the next target, took us a little longer than it should have really, but after checking previous logs to see if it was missing in action the previous finder had said exactly where the cache was!! WTF?!?! anyway not a bad spot for a cache at all ... and we enjoyed removing some random seed heads off our jeans as we left ... TFTC =)

27-May-12
Cache not hidden or cammo'ed. Just sitting in a fork in a tree, and not very high. Don't know if this is its proper position, but I would guess not from previous logs.
Maybe CO would like to re-position it?

Lucky we had seirra1 along as this one is not for we vertically challenged cachers. Probably the only five or six cars to come past all day and we seemed to get them all. Found and signed the log and returned it to it's place of concealment in between. TFTC The Olly's

The road certainly gets a bit of traffic but we managed to find the cache after a short search. Interesting little area. Thanks The olly's

26-Dec-10
After some vehicle unplesantness in trying to find my way to Ninderry, I decided to tackle this one. The rain kept the muggles at bay and it was found after a small hunt. It is in good condiitoin. TFTC The olly's Smile

Found after a short search of high-up places Wink Thanks The olly,s

Had to use Biggles of Oz to retrieve this one, it wasn't made any easier by the rather large dog barking in the nearby house and the owner investigating why he was making such a racket, success followed though.

Prerequisite: The reach of someone 5'11" or greater. Those vertically challenged need not apply (or byo ladder)!

I found it with Mrs Biggles, who at less then 5'11" wouldn't have been able to reach it.

Cache still OK.

Had a really good look for this cache - low, high and higher - but didn't come up with the goods. The green ants dropping out of a tree down the back of my shirt didn't bother me too much, but the wasp stings sent me on my way pretty quickly. Oh well. TFTC The olly's.

Arriving at GZ, I thought this shouldn't take too long Smile
"Too easy for clues" eh!!
A quarter of an hour later I took time out from the search to rest on the conveniently placed shady seat and mull over my failure to find the cache Red Face
