Found this today, not sure when it was archived must have been recently, as it was still active on my gps.
Found this one last month, but haven't yet logged. After a few nights stay at Bruny, we had lunch at the cafe over the road and quickly went for a walk along this lovely track we didn't know was there.
I don't remember anything wrong with the cache (maybe it was just the log book that was wet?). Seems a shame to archive it when all someone needs to do is bring along another book and a plastic bag? Or maybe there is more to it?
Regardless, I'm glad we got this one in before it went to geocache heaven. TFTC!

I've never seen a helicopter land on a cricket pitch before--that was a first for me!
Sorry we did not have time to try to dry out the soggy log.
Sorry we did not have time to try to dry out the soggy log.
Lost Lizzerd made the find. Cache contents are wet and the log needs replacing. Pleasant walk and great for birding. TFTC.
Although this cache is intact, the interior is a sodden mess. The main log book is a soggy lump, the extra sheets are fast absorbing water. Dried container interior with some nearby grass and have left log bag open with a small dessicate pouch. The dessicate will probably be overwhelmed but it was the best we could offer. TNLNSL, TFTC.
Parking was at a premium when we arrived - the cricket game (possibly a final) between Snug and Kettering was underway with Kettering struggling to make headway against tight bowling. We found the walkway and headed towards GZ. After a short time we got to GZ and, with accurate coordinates, a quick find was made. The logbook was very wet and is unusable - we signed on the additional paper that had been provided. Just as the log was being signed there was a great roar from the cricket ground - Kettering had lost another wicket. At the same time we watched the Bruny Island ferry berth. As we drove away Kettering was 3 for 31 after 17 overs - not a good start. TFTC March Brown
Found this one while we were heading back to our caravan which is parked at Gordon. We have had a wonderful day on Bruny Island doing the cruise and finding a few caches is a wonderful way to finish off the day. Thanks March Brown.
Parked near the community hall and discovered the excellent bbq facilities. Easy stroll across the grass field to the track and cache found. Though did have to duck low to get through a little bit of bush at GZ. Nice area with some great views. Thanks March Brown. Log book is totally soaked. Thankfully Tassie Trekkers provided a dry sheet in bag.
Easy find with a better GPS, the IPhone was all over the place with the tree cover here, but the IPad made quick work of it on my second visit.
Before we went over to Bruny on the ferry we came to this parking bay to have our lunch and walk to the cache, and soon found it. TNLN, but Trecaz Trakkie TB parked nearby. Thanks again March Brown.
Found with whitewebbs on our "Down South" caching holiday, arrived at the park, had coffee, then headed for GZ - lots of work going on around the foreshore so hoping cache was not in that area. Found cache quickly, log was wet so signed and left sheets of paper in zip lock bag. TFTC
Found with Tassie Trekkers while caching in the area. Stopped for a coffee near the tennis court and bbq area. Lovely spot. Thought cache might be under marina works but didn't need to worry. Cache safe and sound and well away from the works. Windy here today. TFTC.
Having never been to but heard a lot of good about Tasmania it was great to get here for a ten day holiday with Pathfinder24. Even in winter time we had a terrific stay. The rivers were full and the water falls mighty and amazing, and we came across such lovely food and local products in addition to caches on our way around the island. This one we found as number one on our tenth day in Tassie. Since we arrived very early for todays first ferry to Bruney Island we checked our GPSs and decided to give this one a try. Had a nice walk into the cache and made a quick find. Thanks for the cache March Brown.
Holiday time for me and Ostara74, and since it is winter we decided the logical thing to do would be head south. Thus, within a few days, we had planned and booked everything we needed and were of on our "Top spots of Tasmania Geocaching Tour". Ten days in Tassie to enjoy this magical in winter! Having only been here in Summer, and Ostara74 had never been here, we were in for a treat. The rivers were bulging, the water falls pumping, the rain forests were extra rainy, and the whole place was wonderfully green and alive. We decided upon a route, grab a hire car from Launceston airport and headed off. Basically, we ticked a few must see places on a map and then decided to simple find other stuff along the way, caching where ever we saw a cache along the route. Wonderfully easy to do when you can load all the caches for the state into the GPS as the same time. This was cache find number one for day ten. We arrived way too early for the first Ferry to Bruney Island, with nothing else to do at this time in town we headed over here to grab a quick cache while we waited. Found the cache with out any trouble and enjoyed the nearby view across the water. Thanks for the cache March Brown.
Took the not-so-flat walk through the marina and over the creek. Interesting route none the less. TNLN
Found this cache on our second attempt as a snake changed our minds on the first attempt.
TNLN. Thanks.
TNLN. Thanks.
Had an hour to spare before catching the ferry over to Bruny Island, so we made our way down the path and grabbed this cache. Dropped off the two trackables I was carrying.
Pleasant early evening stroll to this one. Nearly sprung by a jogging muggle who then proceeded to sit on the seat!! Fortunately she didn't stay too long. Thanks, a great spot with a good view of the Bruny ferry leaving.
Ended up going on sludge because gps didn't want to work but eventually found it.
Nice stroll along the path for an easy find.
Removed the two Chuppa Chups that some thoughtful cacher had left in the box, and put them in a bin..
Apart from the above, TNLN. TFTC

Don't know how geo-hubby manages to make some searches more difficult than they need to be. We bush bashed to get to gz then noticed a track running straight past.

660 - We arrived at Kettering to find that we had a bit over 60 minutes before the departure of the next ferry so we headed back to grab this one. We found it after a short walk which gave us a nice view of the bay. March Brown.
Littlest Cyclist found this on a nice little path down to the water.
There's a bit of earthwork going on just across the creek at the moment.
I had to stop LC from taking the lollipops - not sure how long they've been there!

A nice stop before heading off for a nice lunch at my sisters who lives nearby.
Got to the cache and found there was no writing implement, and I hadn't taken one myself, so a quick sprint back to that car was needed.
Didn't have anything small enought to leave in the cache though (sorry!)
Great little path, top views of the boats in the cove.
Thanks for the cache!

The last find on our Kettering/Woodbridge bike ride /geocache search. Perfectly situated as the birthday party Dewey was attending was in the nearby skate park. Daisy took Huey and Louie to find this one while Donald put the bikes back on the car. Much to Huey's disgust Louie nabbed this one from right under her foot as she looked in the wrong side of the hide.
beautiful..... great walk to GZ where the view of the bay today was fit for a postcard....
cheers 4 da cache March Brown!

"In there", I said. Poor old J does all the work!! Not particularly well-hidden, but we fixed that....Took a rat & left a soldier. TFTC
After knocking off work early I thought I would do a few local caches.
I have never punched such southerly digits into my GPS and they would get a lot further south than this before the day was over.
Nice little stroll in the sunshine to this one.
Thanks March Brown.

Found by Mary & David at 1425. Lots of yachts at anchor. Some expensive-looking ones too. We've also been impressed by the number and variety of roadside stalls. Our thanks yet again to March Brown.
Our second find for the day, with the youngest geo getting this one near the purple berries. Took Coin and pen, Left RU OK Keyring and Rats. SN T4TC
We found this one while introducing our Kettering friends to the sport of geocache. Thanks for the cache.
Why do the easy ones seem to take forever. Got this whilst waiting for the ferry.
Replaced log book fairly sure there was a pen there but will check again next tim I am down there
Logbook nearly full and there is no pen. Found at 1205. Breeze starting to pick up a bit so it is not as warm as it was earlier today. Slipped past the cricket match hoping that no balls would come our way. What a great little track, thanks. We left TB "Stop animal testing" but took nothing, then watched the ferry arrive and unload. Lots of flowers in bloom and sweet scents around. Some interesting colours in the foliage.
Pleasant stroll from the car park. Enjoyed the views along the way.

Firstly didn't find this one with Muggle Pete, then came back with CatDog today. A few days later I sent CatGirl on a hunt who found it with glee. Lovely area and am glad I came by 3 times. Pretty muddy in the wet!!
Try a March Brown here during December; found at 1429hrs as 9th for the day and 119th overall. Thanks yet again OldSaint.
More gorgeous views. I never realised that all those images of Tasmania weren't just of one place - everywhere here is beautiful.
Thanks for another lovely cache, March Brown.

What an amazing bit of turf on the cricket ground [:o]
So neatly mown, so uniformly green and not a weed to be seen [^]
I quietly chuckled when I saw the pitch is still a strip of good old green carpet
But that wasn't why I was here !!
There was a cache lying beyond the far boundary, like that last six belted out of the ground by Jeff "Slogga" Selby last Saturday, still waiting to be found
My search ended just before the water's edge where the cache was safe and sound
But I think I saw a cricket ball floating just below the surface heading seaward on the outgoing tide [^]
TFTC and views.

More good views! The Channel has plenty! Thanks March Brown. A neat little track to wander down.
Had a nice little walk to find this. GeoPop got on all fours to retrive this one for us. Thanks!
Another of those quick little walks we would never have taken if not for caching. TFTC Cheers Quilter
JUST JUMPED OFF THE FERRY FROM BRUNY. NICE LITTLE WALK TO GZ OUT ON THE POINT. PICKED UP TB - G FOR GEORGIA. TFTC
Out with Snuva today doing some coastal caches. What a perfect day. A bit overcast and a bit o wind. No heat to slow us down.
Thanks for bringing me down this way.

Number 3 for the day. I have been to the nearby sportsground several times for kids sport; didn't know this little track was here. Next time the cricket is slow I think I'll take another stroll down here. Beatuiful views from the end of the trail. Took nemo; left an oatmeal and honey facemask. TFTC
Quite walk whilst I enjoyed my lunch, cache found quickly. Lovely path, well maintained gardens and a pleasant experience. No swaps today. TFTC
Nice little track with a view of the bay. Really happy with the places we have been getting to see. TFTC
First of a set of drivebys on the way to soccer. Certainly different perspective than the view from the other side of the bay where we normally are ( Bruny Island Ferry ).

Really a nice area but not the easest to reach for an old tall man. There is a lot of change taking place on the other side of the creek. Took nothing and left nothing.

We used 6yo cacherboy's remarkable talents as a short person to go under and get the cache.
Took earplugs, left owl.

7:49 pm This was indeed a lovely little track, and the VIEWS! The VIEWS! If I were a muggle I could have just stayed there and admired the views; however I'm a geocacher, so took a photo and left for more caching! (Photo uploaded.)
Thank you for the cache.

A very late afternoon find while senor el golco checked on the state of the lately neglected barca nearby.
Approached from the shore direction and startled a large and noisy gathering of plovers before crossing the mud and scrambling up the bank for an easy find!

Mrs P and Sam Carter were with me as we enjoyed the stroll through the bush and listened to the harsh cries of the sulphur crested cockatoos. A heron and wrens also enlivened the locale. Found the cache and also did my bit for the environment by removing a couple of boneseed bushes (rotten weed). TNLNSL, TFTC.
This was a well worth little walk for a top vista of the bay. No swaps today. Noticed plenty of osyters but weren't sure if they were edible so we left them alone. Thx for the walk
Today was a glorious day, and the pleasant views from this spot were enhanced by the huge variety of birdlife we saw and heard as we wandered through the lovely bush around to GZ. There were herons, cockatoos, wrens, plovers, and many more species I couldn't instantly identify. GZ was fairly easily located, although it required a bit of maneuvering for those of us over 1m tall! We took the seeds and left a car. Thanks gspblu for the cache that brought us here.
A very scenic hide,i dont know which boat father christmas would like to leave in my backyard.tftc. s/l t/n left casino keyring
No visits for a while, then two on the same day. Needed a bit of a strech after coming back from Bruney Island. Enjoyed the view of the bay. TFTC.
Finally found this one! Work brought me down to the general vicinity, so I packed the "old reliable" backup GPSr that accurately brought me straight to GZ, without any spurious readings! A nice, straightforward find, in the end. TNLN

Nice walk to the point and back.
Struggled to find a GZ and I considered pitching the GPS into the water but the tide was out so would have had to of retrieved it from the mud. Decided to give it up and come back another day.

After much scrambling about we found it. A fabulous view from the nearby vantage point. A really perfect day to be out and about. Thanks gspblu, we've been to this area heaps of times, but not along this track. Took key ring. Left black car. SL TFTC
The creek was empty which prompted me to try a certain (false) approach. Once this was corrected the cache was found quite easily and I was able to enjoy the views too. Thanks gspblu.
