Found a wolf of box. But the box is missing and also I couldnt log in. Could you please replace it. Thank you
Found the cache! Although It seems to be damaged and missing part of the cache, cool find though!
no container the lid we were able to find but the container was probably taken by a turkey in the bushes. unfortunate!
Found it on 25 November 2023 5:13 pm find number 1204 for this pirate lady. However the running wolf found but no base or logbook. Tftc
After a lovely walk along the boardwalk, we found this one nice and quickly. Unfortunately it seems the bush turkey has struck again! Cache was all over the floor. We gathered it back up, fingers crossed it stays that way! TFTC
Hello we found your your cache we are a little far from home on a day or exploring Noosa and Coolum. We though we would cross the caches of close by your cache looks like it’s been muggled by muggle bush turkeys so we fixed it up. One container is water logged and the other is in great condition here today. TFTC in beautiful area. Found with DL197
Great spot for a cache, but unfortunately a bush Turkey or something had got to it, so it was easily found spread across the ground. We put it all away again for the next find.
Thanks for the cache

When I spotted the hide I thought I had double-vision. There were two bits of plastic on the ground. One bit of plastic was shiny and new with a crisp log sheet. The second was something that looked like it had been reclaimed from the dump and full of water.
Maybe something had been digging around and kicked them both out of bed so I tucked them back in to where they came from. tftc

Whilst grabbing answers for the nearby earthcache, this cache was also on my agenda today. Once the muggles had passed by, it was a short search, but it looks like this one was discovered by muggles and left out in the open. Also curious to note there are two cliplock containers now! Replaced where they belong and with plenty of camo. Thanks for the cache cooroy scouts!

Found the earthcache nearby for this weekend's International Earthcache Day Souvenir. Also needed 18 more oldies for a challenge. Glad I can do both in this area.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here cooroy scouts and Dahumbug. Coords were a bit off but spotted both containers out of the cave not far away. Do I get 2 Smileys?

After visiting family further south today, we are on our way back to camp in Tewantin, and decided to stop here and come for a walk on the boardwalk. Such a peaceful and beautiful area, and then off to GZ, where, after spotting a couple of likely trees, we narrowed our search down and signed the log.

217. Probably first time I’ve seen two caches at the one spot - I loved the original cache, shame it’s waterlogged. Thanks for the replacement cache!
dahumbug I found your cache Running Wolf. on 1/8/2022, 12:10 pm. This is my find 3881 and find # 8 today. No problems locating this cache. Two containers still there. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
After climbing Mt Coolum, Peppa and I picked up a few oldies in the area. This was our next stop and after checking out the EC we changed our level and spotted the cache out in the open.
After signing the log we put it back in its hidey hole and covered with some bark.

There’s a couple of events on the Sunshine Coast this weekend so it’s a great opportunity to stay up here and cache to our hearts content…
Chamad joined us for the slew of FTFs on the Western side of the Bruce leaving Davinells and I to climb Mt Coolum for a milestone…
We then collected a couple of oldies before calling it a day….
After attempting the Earthcache we made our way down here… it was Davinells who spotted the containers out in the open…
I can understand why the original container is still here… we made our mark and then returned everything to more secure location with more natural camo…

Cache was found though the original one was soaked and needs to be replaced. However there is a throw down cache along with it which is usable.. thanks for the hide!!
Bill Bradlofrudd is the Games and PE Master at the Assassins' Guild School. He is also housemaster of Tree Frog House.
I was awake on the way in and took the low road where we made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
On my way from Canberra to North Queensland with a few detours for shires. TFTC.
A nice walk. Great beach. Quiet on a cool day.

I dropped by here after collecting the information for the nearby earth cache. I left behind a new container with a log in a ziplock bag after contacting the CO. I left the previous container with it's guardian there too.

Found this cache. Was in piece over the ground so log was very water damaged and unsignable. Sent a msg to the owner. Would have been a nice little find if it was in good condition. TFTC
A planned weekend trip up to the sunshine coast to grab a few caches. I still need a few more to get me closer to completing that sunshine coast challenge. The trip worked in well for the Sunday morning CITO event in Coolum.
I meet up with Esmiley and we spent Saturday, day and night, caching areas that neither of us had been to before. We were not certain if the recent rains and floods would have effected any of the caches but we gave it a shot.
Today (Sunday) was just me caching the coast area. I started in Coolum with an early morning walk up Mt. Coolum, then a drive around the Coolum area to pick up some fun caches before the CITO and then I started working my way down the coast grabbing a few more along the way.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the caches, some I kept notes on, some were just great caches. I signed all logs and replaced as I found them.
This was a quick find here and a great cache hide. the log was a little wet but still sign-able.

Today, my visiting Adelaide family and I travelled north to see the Sunshine Coast. We started the day at the Eumundi markets, and then drove north-east to Noosa, where we had a walk along the trendy shops and out towards Noosa Spit. It was then a slow southerly drive back making miscellaneous stops at Peregian Beach, Coolum Beach, Maroochydore and Mooloolaba. A small highlight was the boardwalk connecting the beach and dunes at Mount Coolum.
I remember leaving this location to visit whilst up at the Sunshine Coast 5-6 months ago, thinking it would be a good spot to bring family. So with an EarthCache and this oldie geocache to visit, we parked, and headed out along the boardwalk. This was a really cool location, and after walking to the end of the boardwalk studying the landscape, I returned back down to the main beach path, and darted in to GZ, where I made a quick find. The cache container was in good shape, although there was only one of the four lid snap locks remaining, and the logbook was slightly damp, but seemed ok and still protected within its double bag. The logbook did appear to be inconsistent with recent finders who have logged online. A nicely themed cache too! Thanks cooroy scouts for the cache placement, and dahumbug for its ongoing maintenance. It was also nice to have found this oldie 10/2007 hidden cache, which is one of Queensland's 1000 oldest yet active geocaches.

This was one of the target caches the other day on our day at the beach.
Back when this cache was placed here along this beautiful stretch of coastline, there was quite the gap between finds.
These days those gaps have mostly been filled in further south, and they've slowly been hunted over the past few years, leaving running wolf's odd title to haunt my curiosity till now.
Having found a few more of the tribe now, i'm starting to see a theme here.
I wonder where running bear went.
The log was damp, so added a few silica jell sacks a new ziplock bag and another so it's now double bagged. Should be alright again awhile hopefully.
Thanks dahumbug for keeping this cooroy scouts cache alive for us to keep enjoying.

Today is my 17th Wedding Anniversary, but I needed to get this cache. The cache was one that I wanted for this month for a challenge cache. After bribing my beautiful wife and two children on the verge of becoming charming pre-teen and teen (12 and 13), we set off for the day. I got to do the ones I wanted while stopping firstly at McDonalds then Coolum Beach so my wife could take photos to remember our day out, I then got to do a couple more before giving them what I promised sometime in their favourite place, an ice cream shop and fudge shop in Montville.
Once happy, we set off again towards home after a massive day out, stopping a little on the way home.
I would have to say I have an amazing wife who not only agreed to do this on our Wedding Anniversary but allowed me to cache along the way, not many partners would be that giving, the kids were a little easier as they just wanted the ice cream and fudge.
Had a great day out with the family but also got the caches I needed, a big thank you to them especially when it’s not really their thing.
This wasn’t me writing this. thank you darling for the caching day.

Had a little spider friend attached to it, but other than that it was a nice cache.
Thanks for this, such a unique little container. A little damaged but very minimal, may be an issue if it rains? Really pretty area!
Out for Wednesday womble with 1Minniemoo. With no real plan in mind we just decided to collect some older caches.
This was our first stop and wow what a boardwalk! A fantastic view when looking back towards the mountain!
A nice quick find once we were at the right level.

Wacky Wednesday with wombles and co, and we only had a half thought out plan for the day. The main goal was to chase one or two older caches with a couple of other caches thrown in along the way for good measure.
This was to be our furthest north for the day, so we decided to start here, and work our way back homeward.
We pulled the car up at some slightly different styled carpark spaces and wandered over to a spot that was a bit of a surprise really. We began to head straight then realised we actually should’ve gone left and under the boardwalk, and were soon on the right path once more.
A sneaky dash off the path soon had us upon the nice cache container. Unfortunately over time the clips have been broken off, but all still seems to be functioning ok.
Thanks for the cache dahumbug, and for keeping this one going dahumbug.

After a quick search (at night) it was located. Wasn’t in the location but out in the open. Put it back in container and into ‘cave’.
Cache 3 on day 3 of my 7 day bicycle tour. Cache was open and exposed. Replaced in location with camo. CO notified. TFTC.
Doing the tourist drive today. Collecting a few caches along the way.

Found with abeck58 while visiting friends on New Year's Day. First find for The year. Thanks for the cache
After a lovely 'little walk' (27kms, in the growing heat - hmmmm, not crazy honest), Mrs SP, OBC and I took an afternoon break before venturing back out again this evening for "just a few more eh?", Suuuuure! And a promise of food. This was a quick find for us today.
Thanks cooroy scouts for entertaining me at this location.

Today, Mrs Slow Puncture, Pprime and myself set out on a marathon walk. We had planned everything that was capable of being planned, however we could not plan the weather. The heat wave arrived, and while there was smiles and bravery at 5 am, the smiles were dissipating by midday. Eventually, we had to acknowledge that the sun was stronger than our willpower, and call it a day. Before then, we managed 27 kms, quite a few caches, lots of jokes and banter, and many amazing views of the ocean and the Noosa headlands. This was one of those caches .

Saturday. Having the lovely pleasure of doing a long walk earlier today with PPrime and OBC, we’d had a couple of hours rest by now and were keen to grab some more caches (albeit drive by ones mostly) and then some well earned dinner. Walking 27km gives you the hangries after a while. We’d had some laughs at the unit checking out their selection of DVDs, and some drinks to refresh us. Our muscles were tightening up, so the best way to combat this was to do some light walking. We picked out this cache as it fit the bill and was an older cache to boot.
No problems locating this cache for Mr PPrime - he was on fire today - literally from the walk and at finding the caches. I don’t know what he eats for breakfast, but it must include cache finding attributes We initially found ourselves on the wrong path, and found ourselves too high, so went back and came back on the lower path. So many beautiful paths up here - would love to move up to this area. Cache was quickly located and log was signed. Loved the container
This was the 9th of 13 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***dahumbug*** for showing us this place

After completing the nearby Earthcache, my partner and I decided to have a look for this cache as it was close by, it was spotted within a few minutes, unfortunately the container isn’t in great condition and the log is a bit wet.

This is an absolutely delightful part of the world. I didn’t know it existed. The boardwalk and the concrete path are just a lovely way to see this part of the world. And my photographer husband is also delighted. The dog was pretty happy too! Smiles all ‘round. Thanks for bringing me here. The logbook is very wet and mouldy, and I was just able to add my name to it.

*Time to be a leader, a responsible cache owner, a thoughtful person regarding humanity.
Groundspeak or Geocaching HQ have been slow to be on the front foot regarding this matter so its left for us cachers to lead the way*
**"With discussions here about whether or not or it is okay to ignore closures etc to go caching, please let me offer some perspective.
Given the likely death toll from COVID-19 in the USA will be in 6 figures at least (that’s tens of thousands) and more likely in 7 (that’s millions) as well as in 8 figures worldwide (that’s tens of millions), not following restrictions designed to save lives is industrial grade selfish.
So our streaks may have to end.
And our physical caching may have to stop.
Hopefully not too many of our lives will end but some most definitely will. And I am certain around the world some of our caching family have already died.
COVID19 hangs around on surfaces so you don’t even have to physically be in the presence of someone who is positive. Just touching a surface (cache?) they have touched recently and then touching your face will do it.
I really really hope that a “Hail Mary” comes through and we get a vaccine in less than the expected 18 months. But until it is actually here being given to large numbers we are all at risk. And while older people are clearly more at risk young ones are dying too.
As I am sure some of you are wondering about my qualifications to offer this view, please check out my background. Not too hard if you have Google or another search engine. “Dr Bill Griggs” should do it.
Please stay as safe as you can people.
And please follow the rules designed to keep you and all of us safe.**
Cheers to Bill, aka Brad&Janet for the information.

Headed off along the boardwalk to this one and instead of taking the first turnoff down to the concrete path I continued on my merry way. Soon had one lot of coordinates right but mmmm, I needed to be down there. Jumping wasn't an option for a senior so I decided to walk to the end of the boardwalk and check out the beach and then come back and find a friendly way to GZ.
In no time I was at GZ where the nifty, well decorated container was soon spotted.
The container has one clip missing but that was in the same hiding place, I tried to re attach it but didn't have the patience to succeed. It also smelt very musty inside.
Thanks scouts.

Visiting the Sunshine Coast we were out enjoying some walking, and one or two caches. This boardwalk was a lovely surprise, especially the aerial section that put us up in the canopy. We made a quick find between muggles. Thanks for the hide.
Parked nearby and enjoyed the boardwalk stroll to the GZ. Had to temporarily abort mission when I spotted a muggle lad had pulled up his bike to have a whizz at the GZ. Once he’d continued on his way I stepped around his puddle and quickly found cache. Log signed and swag swapped.

An easy find once we plucked up courage to leave the path. Being fromNZ we are not use to snakes. All was well and cache hidden where we thought. Loved the container No TB though TFTC . A favourite from us
Took the top track instead of the bottom one so had to back track a little but found it.
Like the container figurine and the Trackable

Found but definitely had some real concerns about coming across a snake. Its getting warm and the snakes are on the move, so be extra carefully out there.. Enjoy!
Updated on snake: Snake catcher has picked up Eastern Brown so it is no longer there thankfully!
I learnt a good lesson not to put my hand in places where you can’t see inside just for a geocache
Thanks stay safe !

SNAKE!! When looking for this geocache I was looking in a wooden seat on the top section of boardwalk and an EASTERN BROWN SNAKE was IN a hole in the seat!! Please don’t put your hands in the hole in that seat like I did looking for the geocache!! Definitely don’t want to get bitten by one of those snakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
