Sadly a DNF from us after an extensive search in a broadened area. Be careful here, there are submerged posts with only a cm or two showing through the sand and a barefoot walker can easily hurt their feet on them as a teammate did.
We looked and looked but no luck today. Found the fallen log but still no luck
The GPS had me looking in every other taken log. Widened the search and soon had the prize. TFTC
Found this one today whist out and about in Harvey bay with family seen this as a new one we didnt have in the area so a quick stopAnd soon had the cache in hand Thanks for the cache placement and maintenanceThanks for the huntTook Nothing, Left Nothing, Signed Log Signed long as MB&CFound with the rest of the DFC_JLK 2019 and Cubs Gang (MummaBear66, Princess1005, Captain Monkey 96 and T1ny96
Found this today whilst visiting family in the area this one had taken Dfc quite a bit of time to find but we did eventually manage to find it and you could understand why it took him so long with such a beautiful view. It was a beautiful day to take a stroll along the beach ... got distracted searching for shells to send my family and friends. Found without too much of a search. Met a lovely man on the path back to the car ... he spends every arvo sitting on the bench, enjoying the quiet place.TNLNSL.TFTC ...
Accio 11:17:33What a pretty little beach. Loved the drive down from Bundy, and the reward of a little walk along this beach. No worries at GZ with the 'obvious' logs not very old and not hollow. The less obvious one is very short - but has this lovely olde cache in it. Snap! Thanks danandlil for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #11573}*
A weekend in Bundy and Prime wanted this one. Took the hour drive down, and then rewarded with such a pretty beachline. Wow, Took a moment to find the hollow (very short now) log but cache container and contents in perfect condition. Thankyou
Easy little find after a short walk along the beach at very low tide. The cache is in good condition. Signed and replaced. Thanks Danandlil for placing the cache.
Family camping trip nearby for Xmas holidays. Took a day trip to the coast. Thanks for bringing us here, we would never have found this lovely beach without it.
Can confirm cache is still in place and safe.
Went on a road trip today with Aaron to Childers then onto Woodgate then back to Burrum Heads for the night
Sorry for the generic log, found 19 caches today and had 1 DNF, great day out ab thanks for showing me a new area.
some logs signed as RP & AJ to save space or squeeze names in.
TFTC.

Had to walk the last 200m. Our 6mth old puppy loved it. She was far more graceful getting up and down the embankment than I was!

One of my daughters who lives in Hervey Bay was getting an award today at school, so I made the trip from Beaudesert to Hervey Bay and back again in a day. Thankfully there's still a couple of caches between there that I hadn't gotten yet to break the long drive up.
895 kilometres in one day is a lot of driving! This was cache 18 of 33
Decided to shoot up to Burrum Heads and certainly was not dissappointed. This place is magical! Intentionally found one and left the other one to force me to bring Mrs RogersClan back here. Parked up at the entrance to the beach and walked along the track before hitting the hard sand.
Wasn't long before I was at the GZ and the cache was quickly found. Everything is in great condition and left as found.
Thanks for the cache **danandlil**

What a beautiful little beach, even being school holidays this little part of paradise was deserted. Thanks for bringing me to this location.
Oh my gosh the sand here is too hot for bare feet! This is one of the most beautiful places in the whole world! Tftc!
Clever hide. Container bigger than we thought. Can view from the top of the grassy sand dune.
Out and about with Dad(aka Sweet&Sour)

Great stroll along the beach with the family and plenty of coloured shells to look at. Great location.
While staying in Burrum Town for a few nights we headed out to the coast to try for some of the local caches.
This was the first cache we tried for in Burrum Heads but on arrival there were quite a few folks exercising their dogs and having a chat very close to GZ
We decided to try for other caches nearby and try for this one later when we were leaving the ‘heads’.
On our return, although there were still muggles on the beach they were in the opposite direction to GZ so we were able to make a muggle free find
Many thanks for the hide danandlil

TFTC. We are coming to the end of our housesit in Bundaberg. Today we decide to follow the coast from Burrum Heads down to Hervey Bay, an are we have not previously explored.
Thanks to the COs for making our trip enjoyable and giving us areas to explore.
A lovely walk along the beach.

Normally, I would expect this walk to the cache to be very pleasant, but today the wind was literally blowing us along the beach. The cache was found without much difficulty, Thanks Richard81 for making this possible. And thanks DanandLil for placing this cache here in the first place. The walk back along the beach with that head wind has given us something to remember.
Hooray! So I've come back to search again using a probe to poke through the grass and sand like searching for someone stuck in an avalanche.
I started at gz and moved around all the potential spots poking through the sand, I felt a crunch of rotted timber and dug up a piece of wood used to cover it and unveiled the cache
Gotta love sand wind and weather to reclaim anything in its path lol.
Cache is in good, dry condition and re hidden above ground this time lol

I don't often not find a cache and I won't log a DNF in case it gets archived before cache owner can attend (appears to be a current trend at the moment) , but unfortunately it appears it may be missing.
We seen this had a couple DNF so thought we'd take a look and anticipated a lengthy search due to the time since it was last found.
Once arriving at coordinates there is nothing that would be close to the listed hint but began searching with 2 of us. We widened our search to approx 30-50m looking for any indication of where a cache could be with no luck at all. The cache may have been removed/moved or buried in the sand/undergrowth.
The location is still worth visiting for anyone else that may like to attempt the search. (in case we missed it)
The day that we were here there were millions of baby crabs cruising around the sand in swarms and we had the place to ourselves. There's also a BBQ and picnic tables at the entrance so would make a great place for an outing.
Even though we were unable to locate the cache. Thanks for bringing us here
If someone does find it intact. Send me a message and I'll change this to a DNF

Spending a few days camping with friends & headed into Burrum Heads for a look around. Had a lovely walk along the beach to the cache, the tide was a long way out. Took a little while to find the cache & it wasn’t really as the hint described. Log signed & cache replaced as found.

Visiting Family for Christmas, so we decided to get some caching done while here. Tftc.
In the area for a few days. Yesterday was all about the mtb ride. Today is 50/50. The ride is over and now it is time to cache.
Civilisation is getting closer to this one. I could here builders just on the other side of the trees.

We are on a caravan trip on the way to Rockie. Enjoying the countryside and grabbing caches. Tftc
Driving from Hervey Bay towards Burrum Heads. Just called into Serena for a look. Parked the van in the shade, and walked up the beach. Easy find, thanks danandlil.
On a holiday hunt with the GeoKidlets. Great location on a secluded beach on a lovely sunset. Took a little while to find. cords are slightly off. Not too hard. TFTC
Took the geokids and geodog for a walk on this lovely beach to find the cache. First day of our holiday and a great spot discovered already. Thanks for bringing us here danandlil!
Nice easy find with geowife D geoboy9 and geogirl8 all caught up in shell hunting. I found this solo which of course is ok. Tftc

Nice walk in the sunshine along the beach. It was in the first place we looked but Dad didn't see it. It required the eyes of Liz and Bruce with much more experience than that shonky bloke to recognise it. (shonkylogic)

We happily went out caching with great friends from Adelaide - Shonkylogic and Shonkysmurf. It gave us an opportunity to show them around Maryborough and the surrounding locality. Today we were on our way to Goodies for lunch. Couldn't resist picking up a shell or two. Fav point alloc. We found this one without any problem. Thanks to danandlil for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the location.
Beautiful walk on the beach on our way to Hervey Bay. Our muggle friend from Canada found it. TFTC
We were a little disappointed with the lack of shells, but did find a few nice ones. We had the whole beach as far as we could see to ourselves in magnificent sunshine so that was compensation enough. Thanks danandill.
Today we settled into Scarness Caravan Park for 5 days, after lunch we headed back up towards Burrum Heads doing a tourist drive & hunting for caches.
a nice walk along the beach, picked up a few shells. Cache is all good,

Found it, nice beach.
If you look close you will see remnants of shell middens on you walk.
Look nothing, left nothing.

Found during a relaxing days birding at Burrum Heads.
