Today we tried to grab a few caches as we moved to Mt Franklin from Creswick.
Tricky with a 24ft caravan on tow but we made a few stops. [8)]
Found the cache lid was smashed. So we replaced it and added a dry logbook.

... Needs maintenance... New container will solve all.

Found by Team Ladava on a glorious Winter day.
Team Ladava has had something of a drought in finds so far this year while publishing a number of fresh offerings in the Sunbury area but today was the day to go and find a few.

On our way to Daylesford nice cache. Everything is very wet needs more paper we have put a new bag on the log book. Tftc
Cache lid is broken and letting water in, it's ok for now but if it rains I have a feeling that it will get waterlogged
Cache is a bit damp, needs a new lid before it rains again, easy find though
Stopped off here on the way back to Daylesford after a visit to Ballarat. It didn't take too long to find. Cheers and TFTC
While being careful in the long grass, we found this cache in its spot. Tftc. And and excuse to stop.
A quick find on our return journey from a day out in Ballarat.
Needs a new container.
Thanks

Find # 2048 @ 1611 H
quite an interesting old bridge just up the road.
I thought this cache may have been gone due to the tree being burnt, but getting closer to GZ I noticed the cache out in plain sight.
Signed the log and placed the cache back a little more hidden

Bit scary with all the long grass... Found it pretty quickly.. Highly recommend proper shoes
3751 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 0930. Had a bit of a challenge here this morning with the long wet grass. Made both the terrain and difficulty a bit more the 1 1/2 x 1 1/2.Took several minutes to locate. SL Tnx whitejaegar
As mentioned before, cache is a little the worse for wear but we were able to sign our names. Visited the bridge (and extra cache) after this and it certainly is a lovely old bridge.
Thanks whitejaegar
Thanks whitejaegar
The tree looks like it has seen better days and I used the clue to help me locate the cache. It is a little damp too.
Didn't see any path tag in the cache at all.
Thanks for the cache whitejaegar.

Easy find for this one. Very wet inside sistema, lid is cracked. TFTC. Found with Leave No Traces.
Heading home from Hepburn so the geokids (age 3 & 5) and I decided to grab a few caches on the way. Nice easy find. Thanks
Second time lucky, I must have had the cache blinkers on last time or holding my mouth wrong. TFTC
The lid is split and letting in water, needs some tlc

#2249 Took photo of twin bridges - the old and the new. The container is in a pretty sad state, so some TLC by the owner would be welcome! SL at 2.40pm TN LN TFTC whitejaegar. Posting a pic.
Tftc container cracked will need replacing to keep contents dry. Find #80 for our trip. TNLN
Not so difficult as the last one thank goodness, once again it was Muggle Hubby who was victorious
John managed to avoid the "black hand" syndrome, and retrieve the cache. Then he realised that the caching bag was back in the wheels, but Jinky came to the rescue. Took swizzle stick, Left geonickel, SL, TFTC!
The Booo's are on day 2 of our road trip to Oz Mega in SA a nice quick find thanks
Find Number 2373
The Booo's found this cache,

On our way to Bendigo & we stopped on the way to find this cache. Having the caravan in tow we have to be careful to which caches we stop at.
This was a fast find as the rain kept falling.
Thanks for placing this cache whitejaegar

Had been in Kyneton and was making my way across to Ballarat and saw the opportunity for a couple of quick grabs. This was the first one and using the iphone It had me about 40 metres away. realising it had to be wrong. I put the phone away and used my intuition and soon had the cache in hand. I'm certain the inacurate co-ords were my phone as it has moments like that. TFTC
Nice easy drive by to get this one. Lid of the container is cracked and the log book is slightly damp. Thanks for the cache and your efforts
Got black hands with this one. Made swaps with blue 888 KR 4 blue bracelet. TFTC whitejaegar.
Glad to have geo pops with us today! He's more than happy to put his hands where no one else will!! Even if it meant lying in long grass. Signed and replaced. Thanks for the cache.
Pulled up at GZ , the grass was very long so we were a bit wary about where we put our hands, after a few minutes we laid our hands on it , thanks for the cache.
spending a few days in Daylesford and caching out from there. Found this one quickly, signed and on our way again. tftc ( log id very damp )
Seeing as this had a NM log, I wasn't confident, but driving past thought I'd give it a go. The long grass made things hard and it looks like the tree it was me at to under is destined for a bonfire as it's fallen over. Might come back with some extra pair of eyes but will wait until the CO addresses the maintain emcee issue. Cheers anyway, had been meaning to stop and look at the old bridge.
Found It!!! Found this one on a cold day have seen the bridges on many trips up here but never stopped thanks whitejaegar for bringing us here TFTC (sorry for the late log entry just checked my notes and realized i'd forgot to log some)
Easy drive by. Moisture is getting into container. Log starting to get a bit damp.
Signed on some free space as many previous logs have taken up to many lines or space themselves out to much.

The lid is broken letting water in.
The tree looks like it has split and half fallen down.
Additionally it might soon be burnt off as it looks like timber has been bulldozed together in preparation for hazard reduction work.

A simple find in a road side stop. Some hazard reduction taking place so the cache may have to be moved. The lid is broken and water is getting in.
This was a nice quick drive by and it was nice to have a look at the old bridge. TFTC.
Dianne and I were staying at Creswick for a long weekend. Today we were exploring some of the smaller towns.
On our way to Daysford for the day we pulled over so I could find this cache. Just as we were leaving another car pulled up. Looks like we just missed another cacher coming to find this cache.

The lid on the cache is broken and there is water in the cache. We drained it out but fear it will fill again.
On our way home to Ballarat from Trentham, this was a quick find. There were lots of hiding holes but only one with the cache in it! The lid of the cache is broken and it is very wet inside. Could require a new lid. Thanks for making us stop here as we have passed many times.
Expected cache to be near the wonderfully built old stone bridge, but after a short walk found GZ...no worries.
Really like these caches that make u stop and look at historical features. A quick drive by & grab. Sl tftc
# 3413 Having noticed the beautiful bridge on the way to Ballarat this morning we stopped to find the cache on the way home. I was disappointed that it was such a long way from the actual bridge. We were surprised to see the burnt tree and felt that the cache may be missing but it was in good condition and had been found recently. TFTC
We didn't expect to find this cache today as the area has been extensively burnt. But the cache was there and in good condition.
Great bridge, we had noticed it on our way to Ballarat today, so we stopped there on the return journey.
We were a bit surprised to find the cache so far from the bridge.
Thanks, Robmc.

Noticed the historic bridge on the way in and we soon arrived at gz.
Nice hide in a now burnt out area.
Thanks for the cache.

Quick find, however the cache location has been involved in a ground fire, though it is probably still hidden well enough.
I wish I had some spare log books on me as this one is pretty full, but didn't. Thanks for the cache whitejaegar.

Found it. We were visiting the impressive Anderson Mill in Smeaton for the festival and decided to check out a few of the local caches whilst in the area, on our way back home via Daylesford. TFTCSL
Second cache found for today, found at 1155hrs.
I had always wondered if there was a cache hidden here!
This might need a new log book soon, logs are going in unused spaces
No swaps today, thanks for the hide and an excuse to have a look at the old bridge.

Round trip from Ballarat to Bendigo with friends and finding a few caches along the way. Enviro gramps wanted to find this all by himself - so we let him. TFTC

There are lots of lovely olde bridges in this area
This one was particularly noticeable because it isn't in use any more and can be seen from the present road
Somewhere out of view of the bridge and the parked muggle I soon found the cache.
Well hidden and out of the 'pooh zone' [^]

A quick find on a trip around the area whilst staying in Maryborough. Pity the old bridge has been bypassed - so much nicer.

Good find but didn't look too hard was scared at the thought of snakes being in the long grass!!
Good to have a quick cache to find for a change after a few tricky ones. Took a glow in dark planet and left string of jazzy paperclips.
Been meaning to have a closer look at the bridges for a while- this was the perfect excuse! TFTC.
Found it with kanokanick at 10pm, pitch dark, thongs and shorts, long grass and phones for light. Didnt observe any historic bridges as we couldnt see anything !!
Last one for the day before cache nock off time at 4 o'clock. Must come back to Dalesford one day looks like a great place to visit. TFTC.
