Really disappointed that I didnt find this one especially after the horrible drive-in. 45 and very windy did not make for nice searching conditions. GPS told me I was within 1 m but could not find it. Wandered around for a good 15 minutes with no luck. Thank you anyway.

Making our way towards home over the next few weeks travelling with 2 dogs and a cat we have found caching a great way to give the fur babies a break. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining.

#5337 Mr BGF made the short trek to gz from the park boundary while Mrs and geohounds waited. Never ceases to amaze me how spectacular the west coast of E.P. is. Would love to explore this park further but that will have to be on a future trip. Cache located after checking a number of areas, but all good here. TFTC.

My 8th day of my trip heading to and around the Eyre Peninsular. Stayed at Wave Rock last night then headed back to the coast and arriving in Coulta for the night. This cache would be find number 13 of 35 for the day and find Number 172 in total for this trip away.

Arrived and was going to try and drive the whole way but decided the last couple of hundred better be done on foot.

Drove to within 30m of this one... only put into 4x4 as a precaution for the potential soft sand, but the higher clearance helped.
Great spot to come to.
A quick find too.

Wasn't sure of the track and it was pouring by now, so walked the last couple of hundred metres in the wet! Probs didn't need to, but better to be safe.

And a cache Big Grin

Country, Coffee, Cats, Champagne, Chocolate, and Caching...
Careful caching as always, wherever we go.
It's a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and objects falling from trees Surprised
...... but a cache a day still keeps the boredom away Wink

--------

Most of our caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp Wink )

----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Wink (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside Big Grin

It's awesome of all those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting Cool

Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Wink Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!

Big Grin [:o)] Wink

The end. For now...

... until next time! Wink

This was a great addition to our adventures. After camping at the nearby Woolshed cave last night and exploring the coastline, we drove to within 30 metres of the cache. Quick find and we grabbed the tb hanging out here, then wandered down to the beach to explore some more. Some huge cuttlefish bones covered the beach at the high tide mark; several having been chomped by sharks which was very interesting. Thanks for placing this cache in such an interesting location.

Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. Twisted So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. Cool That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]

Off to the west coast for a Holiday. [^] Holiday Sal Style that is. Razz We are sightseeing - if there happens to be a cache there - great - get it. Luckily caches are in really interesting spots anyway. Cool

Day 6: Streaky Bay to Coffin Bay:
No too far to go today but plenty to see along the way! Razz Lucky for me there were a couple of caches to get as well. Cool
Came down here and made a quick find. Smile Don't know why this is carrying a maintainance spanner as the container was replaced by Team Crumble in August last year and is fine now. Surprised

***Thanks Nudgy for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big Grin

Drove down in the early morning and had the whole place to ourselves. While my daughter wandered down to check out the waves on the beach I scampered over a few sand dunes to find the cache.
We left the sightseeing to the way out - stopping at the basin and the caves for some great instagram photos for my daughter.
Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.

29-Dec-20
During our new years break, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to the Eyre Peninsula to travel around the various coastal towns. We started the trip with Jeep trouble, but then continued in our alternative vehicle without 4WD to stick to the main tourist roads where possible. We travelled south-west to Tumby Bay and Port Lincoln via Whyalla, Cowell, Cleve, Arno Bay; west across to Coffin Bay; and then north-west to Streaky Bay and Ceduna via Elliston, and Venus Bay. We then headed back east staying in Kimba via Poochera, Wudinna, Lock, and Darke Peak.

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Tumby Bay to Coodlie Park. Our first main stop was at Coffin Bay, where we enjoyed a fantastic oyster farm tour experience. We then headed north, making stops at Greenly Beach, Elliston, and then visited Talia Caves as the sun started to get low. Not a bad weather day, although there was still some wind about.

We took a run to this location, since we didn’t have 4WD capability at the moment. I'm glad we did, as it got real sandy, real quickly. The beach below looks like it would have made a really lovely beach, but today, we just had to admire from afar. At GZ, a huntsman spider was waiting for me under the rock to where the cache was hidden. He soon scattered.
The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Nudgy for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Found it TFTC. It was well guarded by this fellow, thankfully HE ran very very quickly in the other direction to me lol. Cache in good condition. WOW what beautiful beaches

08-Nov-20
We made a decision to take a two week break and head to the Eyre Peninsula. We were keen to return to Coffin Bay and also to explore some less travelled areas.
We had three nights based in Cowell. One of the highlights there was a drive along the 4WD fire track along the top of the Drake Range.
Then we headed to Port Lincoln for five nights. We have been out to Memory Cove on one day and to Coffin Bay NP on another. We have explored the the town, seen stromatolites, and found a number of great eateries. And some special caches too.
Finally we are heading up the west coast to Venus Bay. This was one of the finds along the way. A beautiful spot and technically inside the Lake Newland CP rather than at the south end of Talia.

Enjoying the coast with calm seas we could see the different colours in the rock layers, pity the stairs had been damaged at Woolshed cave but we still managed to get down and explore, with a 2wd we got to the gate and walked the rest of the way, followed by a walk on the beautiful beach, cache was in poor condition with a flat rock covering to prevent water from getting in

We continue to travel from east to west. Soon we will come to Nullarbor Plain. Before that, however, we passed many great beaches, sea lions, vögle and reptiles. There was always a cache to look for. All were well found. Thanks to the owners for hiding the geocaches !

27-Aug-19
After staying overnight in Venus Bay, our destination for the day was Ceduna. However we first went a little south back towards Elliston as we had to bypass some caches late yesterday afternoon as we ran out of time.

This was our fourth cached hunt as we headed south. After visiting the Talia Caves, we continued along the gravel road until we got within about 250m of this cache. Then it was "Shanks Pony" to get to this cache. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. Unfortunately the cache container has become brittle and needs replacing as soon as possible. Thanks Nudgy for the cache in a lovely area.

Cache container broken but log book dry.

20-Jun-19
TFTC. SL. It was a cold wet and windy day that we did the scenic drive and visited a few places in the area while staying in Elliston for a few days. The caches took us to some interesting places. This cache is need of maintenance as the container is broken apart.

28-Jan-19
A magnificent location, beautiful coastal views, found cache very quickly, however the cache has degraded with the elements, and needs a new container, if I had one, I would certainly replace it for you. Hopefully maybe another geocacher could assist. It is a well placed cache. Enjoyed the visit. A favourite from us. Thankyou

After driving the full length of caves road we parked and walked along the sandy track for the last 250 metres. Mr80 scrambled up to the final location and signed the log. Cache container is in need of replacement due to weather conditions. TFTC

24-Feb-18
After enjoying the scenery of this spectacular coastline, we drove through to the end of the road. A quick walk along the trail, and cache was soon found. Cache container is becoming quite brittle, so have placed a large rock over it, to protect it from the sun. TFTC and for bringing us to this great location.

TFTC Nudgy.

We are over from Melbourne for our first visit to the Eyre Peninsula and are absolutely loving it

The scenery is sensational.

This is my first bucket list trip. In fact this is the only place on my bucket list.

We only have a soft roader AWD, so I took shank's pony to get here.

Absolutely gorgeous spot.

Note that one of the clips of the container was broken off and when I went to close the container the other broke off. Unfortunately I didn't have anything plastic bags with me, but I think it will be still water tight with the additional natural cover you had on it.

I saw a kangaroo on the track further down but too far for my phone camera to show.

Thanks for placing this here for us to find.

I left a plowfive pathtag for the next finder or the CO .. whoever gets there first.
