After spending a couple of weeks in Canberra attending the Mega Event it was time to head back to Brisbane. We have a few weeks to travel so we are meandering up through country NSW. Today we're on our way to Ben Chifley Dam via some of the back roads. No problems with this one. Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches for us all to find.
Reperio 17:00Today I headed out towards Oberon, and with that came the chance to pick up a few caches, especially some of the TRLT series. Nice drive by find, and signed the new log replacement.Gratias SkeetaAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
A quick dash to make the find, log was soaking wet and destroyed so replaced with a new logThanks for the cache
Found by geokid, It was on the ground. Very wet log. Let it air dry for a bit on this lovely day. Put back where we thought it might go.
Quick find. The log needs replacing it’s too wet to remove without damaging it. TFTC.

Spotted easy enough as it wasn’t covered at all. Logbook is soaked but managed to scratch my name into the paper. Covered with some bark.
Travelled over from New Zealand to do a two week roadtrip down to the Rutherglen Mega and back to Sydney. Thanks for the cache, Skeeta

The Geocache container is not watertight and contents were wet and me and my family couldn’t sign the list inside
Found but did not sign as it was not watertight and wet. Very easy find.
Definitely read the logs captured here. There is a great hint in here which helped me make this a quick find. TFTC.
Was about to walk away when geo hubby spotted it. We were looking at the incorrect elevation. Tftc
# Out caching with thomo31- a quick find by her as the temp warmed up to 14 degrees at 10 am. Thanks

TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
We have had a wonderful time caching around Bathurst and on the back roads, love the rural scenery. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thanks to Skeeta for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Headed up with nissan 65 for another dew days caching. Bit cooler today. Thanks for the cache.

Wilbert67 and us have been planning an over night trip to Bathurst and pre solved many puzzles in preparation, we also picked up quite a few others along the way. We left early in the morning and we were hoping for better weather in light of all the rain we been having and good weather we had. We had an enjoyable day with only 4 DNF out of approximately 43. A big thanks to all the CO for making our trip enjoyable. TFTC.
Found very late in the afternoon on the way to Bathurst after working at Jenolan. And it was peak hour traffic at GZ with at least 7 cars passing whilst I pretended to be talking on the phone by the cache. Many thanks Skeeta
I wasn't getting anywhere at first, then I read the log of Toriaz, and it led my eyes away from the areas I was looking. That being down. I had to fight a hairy creature for the cache, but he relented and let me sign and replace. TFTC.
We had to wait here before looking for the cache as a local farmer and kelpie were driving a flock of sheep along the road. After they had gone by the find was quite quickly found. After the log had been signed the cache was put back where we had found it. Then we drove along and had to drive very slowly as we passed the flock of sheep. Thank you for bringing us to this area and thank you for placing this cache for us as well as others cachers to find.
Nice easy one but just as described a beautiful view.
There was a bit of water in the cache and the log was slightly damp might need a new zip lock and some time in the sunshine to dry out.

Another fun find and another beautiful view (once we looked up to admire it!) tftc!!
I can't believe we didn't find this immediately. We had predetermined ideas which made it harder. We stood looking around while a sheep in a nearby field gave a plaintive baa that made us think it had sat on a thistle. I was about to give up, believing that the cache must be muggled, when I looked where we should have looked and amazed myself at how stupid we can sometimes be. Thanks

This one took us so long to spot, we thought we were going to have to DNF it when bikerbuddy spotted something we had missed earlier.
Thanks

Found the broken container so we left a new smaller new container inside it with new log. TFTC
Couldn't find it at location. Found the broken cache over fence on private property. No log only geocache site info paper. Needs new container as well.
Three out of three was not going to cap off our afternoon after a very pleasant lunch at the pub/ Looked high & low but no luck this time.
A day for a hunt along the Historic Cox's Road, and a cool, but fine winter's day to be out and about. Last of the day, and a finish again with a great view of the rolling plains. TFTC
Took an early morning run through Lithgow, O'Connell and up to Bathurst collecting 15 finds and 2 DNF. Very foggy winters morning but most enjoyable.
Located the cache without too much difficulty, all in good shape, signed log and returned.
